Preston Coward was exceptional; we would give him 11 out of 10. He made our e-buying experience very pleasant and easy from start to finish. His customer service doesn't stop after the contract is done. He really cares about his customers.

It was my first time buying a car and I had absolutely no credit and the team at Toyota of Richardson was able to get me out the door with a Mazda rx8. I appreciate what they did for me and I would absolutely recommend them to anybody interested in buying a car.
NEVER EVER won't get back to this dealership. I bought a used car from this dealer ship with a lot of extra charges for added accessories and they told me it is a kind of warranty and you can cancel it any time but it was a big lying!!! And after that still I have many problems with that crazy car! NEVER GO TO USED CAR! NEVER!
I've purchased vehicles & sevice for these vehicles from Toyota of Richardson for decades. I'm always very happy and pleased with the Awesome people I'm dealing with. This time it was the service advisor Alan, and he performed outstanding. Thank you Sir.
Eduardo Varas was wonderful to work with when purchasing my 4-Runner. I felt self assured that I was receiving exceptional service along with a great price! I will make Eduardo and Toyota of Richardson my first stop when purchasing another vehicle. We are buying my son a truck within a couple of months and TOR will be #1 on the list.
Everyone was exceptionally polite, pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had the opportunity to visit with our salesman and the finance man. We both were very impressed with these gentlemen and enjoyed their sense of humor. The dealership was clean and had plenty of cars to choose from. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.
From arrival at the dealership to leaving with the new car took under an hour and a half. Everyone was very friendly and they were upfront and honest with pricing. Very easy and smooth experience!
Joey Desrosiers is an amazing finance manager. We had a wonderful experience and he took great care of us. We had two vehicles totaled in the tornado the day after Christmas so we had to buy two vehicles. He helped us get financed and the process was quick and easy! Thank you so much! We love our new vehicles!!
My experience with Toyota of Richardson Used Car Department was by far the worst I've ever had. My wife and I purchased over 20 vehicles during our 16 year marriage, but nothing could prepare us for this chaos. From start to finish, they did a horrible job, but yet all they could do was boast about moving 300 units a month. I can't even imagine how many more they could move if they had an efficient process. We only went there out of desperation because they had exactly what we were looking for and we searched the whole state of Texas and beyond. To begin with our first salesman Chris lied to my wife and told her the vehicle was ready for pick up so we drove 3.5 hours to Richardson only to find out the vehicle was not even close to ready. And the salesman Chris I mentioned earlier, he wasn't there and nor was he returning my wife's calls. They were scrambling to get us our second salesman Jeff. We vocalized our frustration to salesman managers Aaron and Byron, they assured us we were in good hands with Jeff. We test drove the vehicle and negotiated terms to get the vehicle up to par. Aaron walks us over to the first finance guy Glen and said he would be with us in 15-20 minutes. After waiting for an hour and watching two people go through their financing process, I walked over to Aaron to go over the situation and we get our second finance guy Nick. It was smooth because we had our financing with check in hand. They gave us a loaner and said the vehicle would be ready by Thursday. Tuesday morning my wife calls for an update on the vehicle and Jeff never got back with her. By this time I'm searching high and low for another vehicle because I'm tired of dealing with these clowns. At 4pm, I called Byron and told him the situation and she finally got her update. Wednesday Jeff called her and told her he couldn't complete some of the repairs we negotiated on Saturday. She was very frustrated and I called Jeff back and told him to make it happened they already signed documents saying so. He did and the vehicle was delivered to us exceeding our expectations. So 4th of July gets here and our bank pulled the payment for the car we traded. My wife called the bank only to find out they received the purchase order for the vehicle we purchased requesting payment, but oh no they forgot to include the check to pay off our trade in. Like I said earlier chaos, do yourself a favor and bring your business elsewhere.
Working with Anthony Sabu on a used vehicle he was quick, painless and very straight forward. Look forward to working with them in the future, if need be.
Went in a few days ago for a lease quote on a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport. Although my offer was arguably on the low-end of their profit spectrum, I was offered to trade in my 2017 Altima ($12000 KBB value) and pay $464/month for a 36 month and 10k mile lease!! This totals out to over $28000 over the course of 3 years! Syed, the finance guy who offered me this atrocity, spoke in a very arrogant and condescending manner, in a pitiful attempt to have my expectations lowered. Even after breaking down the truck's residual value over 3 years, I was immediately shut down when he figured out I knew what I was talking about. He refused to see me again after I turned down his offer to negotiate a better deal. Despite the ridiculousness of the situation, I would like to thank Jewel, one of the sales reps, who was very professional and polite in showing me and my friend the truck.
I'd highly suggest anyone looking to buy/lease to visit Toyota of McKinney, as I've dealt with them in the past and they don't have any of this foolishness from my experience.
DERRELL PINNOCK IS A FANTASTIC MANAGER OF THIS LOCATION. JERRY PURNELL WHO WAS THE SALES ASSOCIATE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE CARS IN DETAIL. THEY ARE HONEST AND KEEP A STRONG TRADITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
TLDR: Toyota Richardson is dishonest and has inflated prices, go ask for Frank Lopez at Plano Toyota instead.
Whole story: We went in to trade in one vehicle and come home with two.
The Sales guy was distracted from the beginning. He was answering calls, texting, talking to others, even stopping mid sentence with us to do so. He also didn t know his inventory or the differences between vehicle packages or basic questions. We asked to walk the lot to look as we were considering leaving and found a Jeep in the auction lot behind the building we loved. We even found a huge nail in the tire we told them about they didn t know about.
I found a Jeep in the back part of the lot that I liked and told them I wanted it. We started the application process at that point and we re going to test drive it for fun.
The sales manager told us to test drive the second vehicle we were interested in while we detail and prep the Jeep for you to test drive it, since it was just turned in and not touched yet, but he assured me I was first to the Jeep since we found it in the back and I had first right of refusal to buy.
We get back from the test drive and as we are sitting at the sales desk signing paperwork, the sales person told us it was a good thing we started because there were two others looking at the same Jeep BUT we were first so we have first right of refusal. I was assured this at least three times at this point by the sales person.
After we signed the papers of intent to buy, the sales manager came back and said the dealership was selling to someone else instead because the other couple had supposedly signed papers first. This made no sense because we watched them arrive at the dealership and had started the process before they arrived and did everything immediately.
While we were talking with the Finance Manager and the Sales Person, the sales person tried to tell me that he did not assure me from the beginning that I was first in line. He said the other couple had been first the entire time. Both my girlfriend and I heard him reassure me and then GASLIGHT me to try and convince me he had not. We asked to speak to their manager.
The head manager came out and said he heard what happened, and that although we thought we were first that the other couple had been first. We provided evidence of time stamped offers and text messages with the sales person, but he still insisted. At this point they started processing the payment for the other couple.
The sales person then changed their story and said well the other guy wants to pay $15,000 cash down and has better credit. Then the sales manager told me he had also been saying that the entire time as well. So what really happened was the other couple was not first, but they would make more money off them. That I understand, but they should NOT have been lying to me the whole time then continually trying to convince me I was wrong when I had been right. They tried to make me feel like I was mistaken or crazy and they had told me things they had not told me. We walked out.
We almost went home but called Toyota Plano and got Frank Lopez on the phone. He heard what happened and was courteous and kind and convinced us to come in, so we went down the road to Toyota of Plano and ask for Frank. He and the New Car Sales Manager not only were kind and courteous, they worked hard to make right the issues we had at the other dealership even though it was not their fault. We had a polar opposite experience and walked out with TWO much BETTER vehicles for LESS cost and in a short time. They were transparent with us and we were transparent with them, and we came to terms quickly. Save your time and money and go down the road to Toyota of Plano and work with honest people for honest prices.
They're open later than most Toyota dealers in the area.
The people here are a real pleasure to do business with. The service department staff were congenial and also helped me figure out why I didn't get the right color of touch up paint from the other Toyota store.
The details make the difference. It's worth making the trip to Toyota of Richardson!
They were absolutely amazing here! I had been to 3 different dealerships and could not find anything. Every salesman I dealt with was not interested in selling me a car. I would walk in having done my research and it felt like new one wanted to sell me a car. Chris Webb and Chase Vaughan made it soo easy they gave me a amazing deal and found me the exact car I wanted with a great warranty in my budget. Thanks again Chris Webb and Chase Vaughan for making it so easy!
I would like to thank Toyota of Richardson and especially Bayron Posas the sales manager for making my purchase experience the best I ever had. I can be difficult to work with but he showed tremendous patience and concern in getting me exactly what I wanted and a deal that I could not pass up. If you are in the market and don't have time for the traditional back and forth and games that dealerships like to play ask for Bayron and he and his team will take care of you and your needs. Great job Toyota of Richardson keep up the good work. I'll be back for the next one.
Had an appointment for an oil change and they came through with flying colors. Lee was gracious and professional. Felix received us warmly and assured us that we would be seen and services rendered in a timely manner. Felix being a Marine Corps veteran himself thanked myself and my wife for our mil8 service. All around great experience at Toyota of Richardson...
A wonderful team of guys that listened to every question or concern and worked until they had the answers. I will be back and Toyota of Richardson is my number one choice for car buying. Thanks for my new car.
Called ahead to make an appointment and they were helpful with time availability. Was sent a reminder regardingy appointmemt. Dropped off my car on my appointment date. Service writer went over the schedule maintenance and charges. We discussed what I needed and they took my car back. 2 hrs from oil change, topping off fluids, checking tire pressure, re-install my under cover, and doing the multi point inspection. Was a great overall experience.
This was the worst experience I've had with a dealership. I spoke to Robert to verify the 2 cars we were interested in were available as it is a 1.5 hr drive. He assured us they were there. At 4:30 the manager confirmed our appointment. When we got there Robert wasn't there and we were told one car wouldn't be available for 1 week and the other car sold 2 hr ago. No one bothered to call us. We drove 3 hr round trip for nothing. I left a message with manager and spoke to him next day. He told me the first car was just pulled onto the lot and assured me he would let us see it. Again we headed up to the dealership. We were going to be about 30 min early so I called to let them know and check to be sure there wouldn't be any issues. Then I was told they sold the vehicle we were on our way to see. Again! And no courtesy call to let us know. So unprofessional. What happened to basic customer service?
I'm pretty pissed. Most dealerships allow service to be first come, first serve. I called earlier this week to make sure if I needed an appointment to have my car brought in TODAY. The receiptionist said I did not need an appointment and to bring in the vehicle. Well low and behold, we got the words "you need to make an appointment". Let me make something very clear about the service center. It just ____ stinks. When I receive my vehicle back today I will be more than happy to bring it back to Toyota of McKinney and I will pay the extra gas just to go there. Three problems at this dealership. 1) First time I brought in my Corolla, they lost my keys. I had to leave work in someones vehicle to go to the service center and they had to make me a new key and a new master key(idk why the master key was made). After I left, they later called to say that they found the keys. And guess where they said they were? In the area that is designated for keys to be returned. 2) Now I have a Camry and I brought the car here, though I should've just gone to McKinney since Pat Lobb has the best service team. There was a recall and they needed to fix something and do the service on the car. Ok, cool, I was aware of that. Asked how long and they said about 90 minutes. 4 hours later and they are still not done. ANNOYING. 3) Now today's issue has completely pissed me off. I will forever take my car back to McKinney where I bought my vehicle because RICHARDSON JUST PLAIN OUT SUCKS. Luckily, I am keeping this post clean.
Very disappointing to get service at an otherwise excellent dealership and get your vehicle returned to you looking disgusting. What high level dealership doesn t have a car wash? A voucher to go do it yourself across town DOES NOT CUT IT. Read Customers For Life by Carl Sewell.
Fantastic service from Scott King and the service department. We were visiting the Dallas area from out of town (Indiana) when a warning light came on in our 9 month old Sienna. Not knowing what it was or if it was a safety issue and unwilling to drive 800 miles back home without finding out, we stopped at Toyota of Richardson after driving past it on hwy 75. After hearing we were a long way from home and not wanting us to drive with a potential safety issue,, Scott worked us into a busy schedule, the service team got the problem diagnosed and made the repair and got us back on the road, not only in time to return home the next day but to salvage the rest of the day. We are eternally grateful for the kind help and fantastic service.
Great sales people that truly care about the vehicle you want to purchase, the facilities are much cleaner and organized now. The service center also offers good pricing for all your vehicle needs.
I don't usually rant about service but today I'm extremely frustrated with the way things are being handled. So back in March we bought a 2007 VW Jetta from Toyota of Richardson. Not only was the sales manager (I believe his name was Robert) extremely rude and short and cocky the entire time, he went back on a deal that was made to cover the cost to replace the falling headliner. Then, about a month after I had the car, an old belt broke and cost about $1300 in repairs. This is AFTER we were told that the car had been checked out specifically for those kinds of problems. Today, I am here getting an oil change using a voucher I got when we bought the car. I called Monday to schedule the appointment and then again on Thursday to make sure everything was good to go and they had the filter I needed. I was told I'd be in and out in about an hour to an hour and a half. So I get here at 8:15 this morning, and go sit in the waiting room for about an hour. I have other appointments to make today so after an hour I get up to ask about how much longer the wait will be. The receptionist contacts the service provider and he comes out to let me know THEY HAVENT EVEN ORDERED THE OIL FILTER YET. I've never been so annoyed with a place in my life and will definitely never be coming back here or recommending it to anyone.
Just bought my third car from this dealership. I couldn't be happier with the customer service and willingness to make sure every purchase is better than the last.
I bought a new Camry, and the employees were courteous and explained everything to me so that I could make an informed decision. Very happy with my decision. Special thanks to Teddy Luu, Herouy Makonnen, and Leon Tang who gave me the best deal for my car. Highly recommend.
Had a great experience at Toyota of Richardson. All of the staff that I dealt with, in the pre owned sales department, were very helpful and courteous. Finance department also worked with me, to come to a mutually acceptable monthly repayment figure too.
Bought a 2006 Camry (6 CYL) and this is the first time it's been in the shop for a repair. Twelve years and no failures/repairs is a pretty good track record. And my service representative Brandon was professional and clear of the options, costs and recommendations.
Every single person I came in contact with was so respectful and kind and best of all helpful and not pushy!! I worked with both Tracy Brown in Used and Willie Pugh in the new department and I cant recommend them more! Chase in finance answered allllllll my questions. Our best experience ever buying a car.
I had a scheduled service for a recall. When I scheduled, I was just told to go to the dealership. When I arrived, two sales men approached me asking if I was meeting my parents. I'm late 20's and found this condescending. It was made worse when I explained that I had a service scheduled and they treated me like I was the dumbest person for not knowing the service center was around the corner down the street. Will never go to Toyota of Richardson for my next Toyota based on this expierence.
Once I got to the service center the manager could tell I was confused about where to go and what to do and approached me and was very helpful and patient. If I could rate him 10 stars for his customer service, I would.
Service department is horrible but sales are great I've bought 2 cars here and may buy more probably not because of my service and maintenance experiences
I purchase my car on 12/12/2015 and i had a good experience in buying this car. Offcourse there were negotiation from the dealer and finally it all went well. I have to get compromised on around some $1000 overall extra but happy that i got a good car for me to ride.
I am thankful to Aaron Tunnell and Randy Boston for their great service and i am definitely recommend to my friend to do business with them and i have already started with it.
Review for Used Car Side. Here is the context: Compared to other old-school used car dealerships, this would be closer to a 4 star review. I left satisfied, with the car I wanted, in great condition, at a good (not great) price. But compared to new car buying models, specifically, DriversSelect, this would be closer to 2 stars. Not assessing the individual people, or the individual experience, but addressing the disruption and (what I think are) better models that exist with up-front pricing, online financing in advance of picking up the vehicle and efficiency of the process.
Pros: 1. I left feeling good about my car purchase. 2. I have a great 2013 reconditioned Toyota Tacoma Texas Edition at a good price. 3. Everyone I worked with was willing to listen to my requests and work with me to come close to meeting my desired outcome.
Cons: 1. They have a minimum $1,000 reconditioning fee on most used cars that is not included in the advertised price. I was told, "we price aggressively online to get people in so there is room for this fee." I ended up paying 60% of the fee, as the car was still a good price with the additional $600, and the reconditioning was well done, and the vehicle was in beautiful shape. I wish they could just make that explicit in the advertised price. 2. Three times I was up-sold in a way that I believe some folks may not have recognized. This is a normal dealership experience, but I guess I got used to the DriversSelect model where there is one price, on-line and no other fees. Not a big deal, but I politely declined these each time. 3. I came in knowing the vehicle I wanted and had a large cash deposit, a 800+ credit score and the process still took over 4 hours.
To sum it up, I'd prefer buying from DriversSelect, but they didn't have what I wanted in stock, and I couldn't wait.
I left satisfied, and I would recommend this dealership if you are organized, know what you want, have run your numbers and can understand the basic financial terms that are used during the deal process.
Excellent service and a great experience running through finance and having our car ready to go at the end of the day. Very impressed with how welcoming and pleasant the staff is. A positively refreshing experience at a dealership!
Jeff in service has been a absolute pleasure to work with. He has been so helpful and a great source of knowledge when it comes to understanding what is wrong with my car. He was patient with me and my 1,000,000 questions, prompt with his responses, and even offered me his personal cell number to reach out with questions or concerns. I have never had a better experience than what I have with Jeff at your dealership and look forward to returning to have more work done with his assistance in the near future.
I had a great experience here. Tracy was very personable and professional . He worked with me getting on getting a deal I was happy with and I drove off in a great car. This was my 2nd car in a row I've purchased from Toyota in Richardson. They were also recommended to me. Definitely tops my list of great dealerships.
We recently bought a used vehicle from Toyota of Richardson. Eduardo Varas was our salesperson and Josh helped us with the financing. They are very professional, easy to deal with, and made the process as painless as possible. I got a fair price on my trade in and also was able to get a fair price on the used vehicle without much consternation (we did our homework). Again, Eduardo is very good - you can tell that customer service is important to him. If you are looking for a used vehicle and want to go to Toyota of Richardson, ask for him. We are very pleased.
I bought Tacoma from Richardson of Toyota on June 14th.
At that time, my credit score was about 750, so I proceeded to 4.99%. Finance reps (Rezaei, Mostafa) and I had almost two hours of sign-up time due to various warranty plans. In the end, I signed the APR 4.25% and brought a car home with a good deal and a joy for the new car.
The joy was not even a week, and on June 19th I received a call from Toyota Finance representative (Rezaei, Mostafa). He told me to come back with additional documents and sign. This is what the sales man did not even know about. I do not know why, I have the documents ready and I ask the sales man why I should sign him again. He recognized that in 5 days my score dropped by 100 points. That's why we were rejected by Finance at our headquarters.
The sales manager talked to the General Director about this ridiculous situation and the General Director did not understand it. The Finance representative again asked for a credit check to check again for the reason, and then re-credited it, which resulted in a credit score of about 650 points. The difference between the two credits, the 750 and 650 credit points, is that they submitted several finance applications. I have a Toyota Finance contract and can not understand if I have submitted multiple banks. However, the official said it was not a bad day. The finance officer suggested that the current APR score is 9%, but they can not understand it, and that the final APR is 7%. That encouraged me to refinance my home bank again with a low APR. So I signed up again with Finance Manager (Rezaei, Mostafa). It did not take long to sign it the first time. There was little time to sell the warrant and they were quick to sign it.
However, since then, more than 10 banks have received a letter of rejection of Finance. I do not know how much longer I will come. Even my home bank has a letter of rejection and it is not easy to borrow a trust loan in a short time.
In conclusion, my thoughts are as follows. The Finance Specialist (Rezaei, Mostafa) went low on the APR to sell me a warranty. Toyota Finance declined on this. The Finance Specialist (Rezaei, Mostafa) proceeded to several banks without my consent. My credit score dropped a lot because of that. They hid this from their mistakes and called me on June 19 to deceive me and sign me again.
The salesperson says that he is meeting every Monday on my problem. But until a month goes by, the finance manager (Rezaei, Mostafa) has no apology or compensation.
I have to spend about $ 4-5000 in interest compared to my first contract.
Richardson Toyota Finance needs a financer that can be trusted by the customer. I get the lesson that I should not do my credit work to anyone this time. I need a loan for my company work now, but I am in trouble with this work.
My wife and I found a vehicle that we liked, so we called to make sure it was still available and we made an arrangement with a sales person to see it. When we arrived the sales person couldn't be found anywhere. But our trip was saved by Dustin Bradshaw. Through the whole process he was around taking care of everything, from getting water and making coffee to handing us the keys at the end of the night when everyone had already left, he was friendly and attentive, A++. Also would like to thank the finance representative, Gregorio Rosa's. He made going through the finance process funny and as painless as possible. Again, thank you Dustin for your hard work!
I came to get one thing done, but more was needed, and it was taken care of after consulting me. Everything was explained so that I could understand what was needed. I love the patience and the care given me!
Scott Michael in service was fantastic. I normally take my car to Toyota of Plano, but they always take ALL DAY on my car. I had to rent a rental car from Toyota of Plano 3 times now because they couldn t finish on my service in one day, and my services were easy! I only ever went in for oil changes, tire rotation, or to replace a tire! This is the first time I have been to Toyota of Richardson and I was WOWED! Fantastic service, friendly employees, and overall fastest in and out time I have EVER had at Toyota. You guys have me sold. Go see Scott Michael in service, I'm making Toyota of Richardson my go to service department now!
The experience buying a car today was so pleasant that I emailed the GM to let him know. See below.
I was in today 11/23 with my husband looking to possibly upgrade my current 2016 Rav that was bought at your dealership previously. I felt compelled to reach out and let you know personally what a pleasant experience we had dealing with Jake Hall today. I ended up leaving with a 2019 Toyota Rav/Lunar rock color. This kids approach and demeanor was spot on and he was so pleasant to deal with it literally made my day. We had just left from shopping @ Toyota of McKinney before we headed towards Richardson and our feathers were a bit ruffled with the salesman we had dealt with there. I honestly felt like Jake went above and beyond helping us today and wanted to say thank you! He deserves an award for his attitude!! Today was the best experience I have ever had at buying a car. Please thank him again! He was very professional, very knowledgeable and a joy. Greg in finance finished the experience off with a 10! Thank you both!
I had previously done business with Chrysler Jeep and Dodge and they will go out of their way to help you. They sold me a pre-used car that looked like new, and I had a great experience with them. That was not the case with Toyota. They sold me a car that was barely a few months old, unfortunately I did not look well at it before buying it because I felt pressured by them. However, they had told me they would fix any specs on the outside of the car. When I asked when were they going to fix all the scratches, all of a sudden no one knew what I was talking about. They will say and do whatever to get your business, and after they have it you are pretty much on your own. Be careful on what you sign, and if they promise something make sure to have proof to back you up. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. Do not let them trick you into getting MPP, Life Insurance, and other things if YOU don't want to. They told me that I needed to get that in order to secure my rate, but that is a LIE and you will find it if you read your contract well. Also their Financial Services would not acredit my "Principal ONLY" payments just to get more money out of me. Not to mention that you will placed on hold for OVER 30 minutes.
Two horrible experiences. First was as simple as an 8 hour oil change. "Well we got busy with walk ins", then what in the world is the reason for me making an appointment ahead of time. Second. Go in to repair my rear differential recall. Was told it would take 5 hours max and was promised it would be ready by end of day. Call 7 hours later and get no answer. Show up and was told that it would not be ready until NOON THE NEXT DAY. "Well we got busy", "well we don't have a tech with one vehicle at once". Yet again, why make an appointment then? Worst response was "well have you ever taken apart a rear differential?". No Jeffrey I have not, that is why that's YOUR job. I can do my job a lot quicker than your "difficult" job. If a manager reads this I don't want the run around of "call us". You have my information. EDIT: Thank you for proving me right by giving me the exact runaround I did not want. Perfect example of your customer service.
Professional, competent, competitive, thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable, hassle free, painless, flexible, one-stop shopping from people we liked! Thank you to the team, Sean, Bruce, Aus, Youseff & Brian for making this a great experience! We will be back soon!
Just picked up my vehicle for the 3rd time for the same repair. Won't go into all the frustrating details, of which there are plenty. When I took the vehicle in for the 3rd time, I was connected with Brandi Binkley. My what a difference 1 person can make. Of course she did not work on my vehicle, but the empathic, caring attitude she brings to the service drive let me know that at least one person actually cares about me as a customer. Brandi was very proactive throughout the process and her follow up was excellent. I highly recommend Brandi Binkley for all your Toyota service needs.
NEVER give out your phone number to them. They will spam you. I visited there over a month ago and everyday (sometimes twice a day) over the past month I would get a call and voicemail. Thank goodness for call blocking.
I love Toyota of Richardson. Lee Schuster is an excellent Service Advisor. Schuster s a Toyota whisperer. Kind. Efficient. Professional. The other important factor is I understand that getting the car(s) serviced at the dealership may cost more BUT you get what you pay for. Toyota parts put on by Toyota experts guaranteed by Toyota. Wouldn t go anywhere else.
I was greeted immediately upon arrival by my service rep, Chrystal. It was late on Friday, so I was wary of my appt. taking a long time. No problem. I was out in just over an hour. This is the first time with Chrystal, and I was very pleased.
My husband, R, had a really bad experience with the sales department here. We were taking our Sienna in for some recalls. While waiting, R decided he would go over to the sales side and see if there was anything that would fit our needs. (side note: it's a pain to get from the service center to the sales center).
When R sat down with a sales guy, the man asked for R's DL/Insurance. My husband said he didn't want to be put into the system. He just wanted to know what what type of vehicle he could get for our cash offer + trade-in. The salesperson was very unprofessional and basically just slowly scrolled through the dealership webpage (we can do that without your help, sir). The real kicker is that when my husband wouldn't give his insurance cards to be scanned, the guy said he wouldn't give us information and just went to KBB for a trade in quote. It was so odd.
Honestly, behavior like that is enough to turn us away from Toyota entirely sine we need a dealership we can trust and enjoy working with. There are more details about his bad experience but overall, R was very disappointed in the way he was treated. Apparently cash offers are like the plague to this location. Also, they assume younger people (under age 30) have bad credit, no cash, and no knowledge. I would hope that other people would take the time to hear their client out and see what is the best fit before jumping to conclusions and treating them rudely.
The purchasing process went fine. Tracy Brown was straight forward and didn't try to over sell us. We go to pick up the car and it had neither the paint chip repairs or the interior detailing that was promised. We schedule an appointment to drop it back off when we were told to only to find the agent we made the appointment with had already left and the service technician responsible for repairing the paint was not even working that day. the service manager arranges for us to get taken care of almost another week later. Just a few days later we notice that one of the "new" tires has a slow leak that was apparently present before we made the purchase. Toyota refuses to repair or replace the tire. Absolute WORST dealership in Dallas.
Worked with Neal Abraham in buying a new Toyota Camry 2018; and I have to say as a first time buyer, he made the experience quite welcoming and easy to do. He went the extra mile to work with me and my inexperience with getting a new car and walked me through it step by step. He was also extremely helpful and a fun person to chew the fat with. I would highly recommend requesting Neal if you're looking to buy from someone with a good heart and fun and very optimistic personality.
Such a smooth and easy experience. I ve always felt a little uneasy about walking into a car dealership, but Randy definitely made me feel I was in good hands and that I wouldn t have anything to worry about. Everything was explained in a very clear and direct manner, which helped make me more at ease with the whole process. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the metroplex. From the time I walked in until the time I left, it was just a great experience. Thank you!
I bought 2 pre-owned cars from Cesar Rodriguez. Recently, my parents and I went back to request his help again. He's now the internet director and is not a salesman anymore, but he still took time away from his other responsibilities to take care of us. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Cesar made sure we looked at each car thoroughly for defects since they were all used cars and didn't want us to be surprised. He walked us through the whole process from the test drive to financing. We appreciate his time and not rushing us the entire time. 5-stars service. We will definitely buy another car from Toyota of Richardson.
I recently bought my first car from Toyota of Richardson and it was a great experience. I worked with JP and he was the perfect salesman. He ensured I had everything I needed and allowed me plenty of time to ask questions about the car. I was confident he was on my team and not just wanting to get a sale. He was great to work with and did all he could to allow me to come out with a win! Thanks JP!
1st time I utilized Toyota Ruchardson. Akways been a customer for the one in Plano. One in Dallas - hope they have improved their quality & customer service. Didn't have good memories, even when I took my employee to buy a new car.
Didn't realize my wife had made an appt on the Richardson one. Thought she had made it for Plano. Since she had already made that appt yesterday, told her to leave it alone & will give them a try. Sure enough, I wasn't disappointed. Same w my family. Salute to Cody Trubstall & financial guy Mostafa Rezaei (very nice true Americans)! Hooray ... pls keep it that way ... u will go a long way!!!!! Thnx guys. Hope to see u when I decide to replace my Tundra.
Service at the Richardson branch is sorely lacking on all levels. I will never purchase another Toyota vehicle if it requires having to deal with the service department ever again. I brought my 2011 in for a second key made and two weeks later and at least 6 phone calls with never ANY human on the other end, I finally got the "oh, yea, it is here, oh, okay." Seriously, people??? Are you all doing so well that you don't need to properly take care of your customers there???? Two weeks to have a key made?????? Imagine if I needed something more serious done like an oil change???
One of the best and easiest car buying transactions I've ever had. Extra nice sales person and accommodating to all my requests!! Way to go Chris Webb and Toyota of Richardson...I see now why your dealership was loaded with customers, you guys know how to make people happy!!!!!
Terry is the best! He is a great guy and very helpful without being the typical car salesman. Chase was also very helpful and quick with our financing. Thank you!
