THIS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP!!! Do NOT buy anything from this dealership. My husband and I were scammed out of $3800 dollars and were told we would get it refunded directly to us, and we were now told that all the paperwork we did to get out of all the extra crap we didn't agree to pay for is not being refunded to us, but to the loan company. Do NOT waste your time or money at this dealership.

Called about a car I drove an hour to the dealership tried to work out a deal if my sales man tells he has been in the business for years and he tell me about features about the car that it did not have I told him I would bet him 1,000 it did not have that option he got mad . When I told him I would come back the next cause I was going to my credit union for financing he got mad and went to get the manager. I put a deposit down and we changed our mind on buying the car the sales man have no drive .

I purchased a Toyota Avalon from Tracy ( pre- owned). He was patient and not pushy at all! I came in knowing what car I wanted, just a matter of test driving and finding the right one! They gave me a fair price on my Lexus trade in and we negotiated fairly on the price of the car. I was on my way to Car Max and stayed at Toyota bc the customer service was fantastic and the list price of the Avalon was 2K less than CarMax. ( and Toyota still came down!)
I also financed through Toyota. I have always used USAA but was able to get a better rate at Toyota. Over all, my experience was awesome and we will be back to trade in my husbands Lexus!

Experience was great up until purchase and post purchase. Turns out my sales person got fired a couple weeks later because he wasnt doing his job right, and because of his ineptitude, im SOL. Half of the things that were promised to me and WRITTEN ON OUR CONTRACT are now null and void.

I was told to wait for a call to schedule when to get a spare key made- call never came, and by the time I got fed up and came in myself, they told me it was too late. When I argued, they then said 'oh we dont have record of owing you that, the contract doesnt count'.

I was told my car would be cleaned before being transferred to my posession, and then told that it wiuld be cleaned when we did the key thing. Nope.

I was also told that the dealership would handle the trade in--why am I getting notifications from TXDOT about this car 5 months later then?

I was told that the full set of mats would be with the car. Nope nope and nope.

Im upset, I wanted to believe that the car industry, particularly the used car industry had outgrown its bad reputation. Some things never change.

Come here for a test drive if its close, buy elsewhere. They cant get their paperwork in order, and customers are suffering for it.

I purchased a 2015 Toyota Camry from Toyota of Richardson a few weeks ago. When I called Gary he indicated that he had the aforementioned Toyota and would have it ready for me on Monday. We set up an appointment and I expected the have a fairly quick transaction, because I had already arranged for financing through my Credit Union. When I arrived for the appointment on Monday, the car was not ready!! Gary asked me to complete a form which he said was "just for their records"...actually it was for their use in trying to get other financing (even though I told him that I had financing already taken care of). After Gary took me to the finance office I met with Crooked Joe. I AGAIN told him that I was financing through my Credit Union. He said, I know we have a contract with them. He left the room for about 15 minutes (I should have walked out at that time). He came back with information from my Credit Union (which was not the correct interest rate). Little did I know that during his departure from the room he tried to get different financing with THREE places!!! Of course, he did not mention that....I only found out at 3 a.m. when my bank alerted me that there had been some inquiries... Now, I know I signed a form...but I did not ask him to try to get different financing....I specifically said I already had the financing. I was so upset at 3:00 a.m.!!! I talked to Gary Lowe about this and he apologized. But, the damage was done. He made arrangements for me to pick up the floor mats that were not available when I purchased the car on a specific day. I went to the dealership on that day....Gary was not there and no one offered to give me a set of floor mats. Now, today is July 16...and no one had ever contacted me about the floor mats AND my temporary license expired on July 15. Did anyone call me? No! What do you have to do to get good customer service?

Just be aware - the advertised price on their website for used vehicles IS NOT the final price. So do your homework before wasting time coming to this dealership (I'd advise anyone to just stay away and visit a dealership that has legitimate up front pricing - there are plenty others). They attempted to add nearly $2K in dealer fees (in addition to the TT&L) for servicing/cleaning/preparing the vehicle basically to sell. If it cost the dealer a few dollars to prep a vehicle to sell, then just add it to the price - don't be sleazy and try to add those costs in after people have spent their valuable time coming to your store (it comes across like bate to get you in the door, and that's fine if they want to do business like this - they just will not be getting any more business from me). Needless to say I walked out and found the vehicle I wanted elsewhere. I plan to never buy a vehicle from this dealer, or any others that are owned by Berkshire Hathaway Automotive in the future. Good luck with your car search!!

This dealership is filled with CROOKS. My wife and I bought a used car from this dealership and from the get go we were lied too. They sold us a maintenance package that from what they said would allow us to get our car serviced at any other dealerships in the area. Each time we tried to use the vouchers that showed what maintenance services were included with the package the other dealerships stated that they did not accept the vouchers. We then would take it to Toyota of Richardson to fix it and every single time we took the car there the service people would ask us why we werent taking the vehicle to a dealership closer to our home. To which we would always let them know that the other dealerships werent accepting the vouchers. We tried a number of different times to contact the saleman that sold us the car but he never once returned our phone calls. HIS NAME IS KAELON BURKES.... TOYOTA OF RICHARDSON THANKS FOR NOTHING

First, let me start off by saying I did purchase a...

First, let me start off by saying I did purchase a vehicle from Toyota of Richardson. But, it was only because they had the exact vehicle I wanted. If I could have purchased from any other dealership, I would have done so. On a personal note, I did learn some things that will affect how I purchase a vehicle in the future, so in this case, the negatives turned into a learning experience.

What did they do? It is really more about what they didn't do. They allowed me to test drive, and that's about all of the service or help I received. From there, there was little to no follow up unless it was from me. Once I followed up to express my interest, I took my trade in to see what they would give me. I had to negotiate the amount, which is not uncommon, so no harm no foul. After that it was nill. I followed up the following Monday to see what kind of deal we could do. To make a long story short, they tell me no one is willing to take my loan but them due to my credit (which is a lie as I contacted my current lender-COAF and they told me they approved the application the dealership sent through when I test drove the vehicle). I have fair credit and great payment history. I check my credit score weekly so I know what my credit score is and what I can get with it. The deal they came back with was frankly insulting. 12.99% interest rate with $5,000 down. On the other car I own, I got a 4.25% interest rate. The dealership is obviously in the business to make money if they finance, but come on! I told them this was a no go and went about getting a loan on my own. Lesson learned...if you can get financing through anyone else, and I mean anyone, do it--don't go through the dealership. They want to give you the highest interest rate they can so that they make more money, even if you have good credit. Make sure you print off your credit reports and take them with you if you do want to go through the dealership. I even sent my summary page of my scores from the Experian site to the Sales Manager after this ridiculous offer and nothing happened.

I was able to obtain financing through a credit union for 4.70%. How was I able to do that if "no one" would finance me but Toyota of Richardson? I followed up once again to let them know this and that I still wanted the vehicle. In the end, they "begrudgingly" agreed to my price. I felt like I had to twist their arm to sell to me.

I'm not sure if it is due to my gender I was treated this way, or if they do business this way with everyone.

I am still waiting for the surveys I was told I could complete regarding my experience....I don't think I will ever see those.

Do your research, don't spend any more time than you are comfortable with in the dealership. They hope they can keep you for long periods of time so that they break you down and you take whatever deal they throw at you. I knew these pieces already, so I communicated via email and phone and only went into the dealership to test drive, work my trade and sign the documents. What did surprise me was how stupid & desperate they thought I was.

The service department is awesome. I went in for my plates and for them to check the tire pressure as the alert light kept going off on my brand new vehicle, which by the way I was told when I picked up my car the day of purchase was checked (by my sales person). That was clearly another lie as the service tech told me that all 4 tires were low by 6lbs. At this point, all I could do was shake my head and laugh.

Toyota of Richardson Sales team, treat your customers as individuals with individual needs, not just a dollar sign walking through the door.

I did not purchase a vehicle here, but recently moved to Richardson and scheduled an appointment for service. It was a little busy at drop off, but regardless of that, David Walc in service was able to take my car in immediately and get me on my way. I definitely plan to come back in the future for other service needs.

Purchasing a car or truck is one of the biggest and most important decisions a person can make and having a good experience is very important to me. I have had many bad experiences in the past while purchasing a great car, but being able to have a great experience and get a great truck at the same time is awesome. My last 3 vehicle purchases from a dealership have been at Toyota of Richardson and it has always been good, but this time really stands out. I really felt that my salesman, Michael, was there to help me buy a truck and not sell me one. I was also very pleased for my great experience to continue with the sales Manager and finance. I want to thank the whole team at Toyota of Richardson for making this sales experience absolutely awesome. I look forward to coming back for service and I definitely know where I will be going to purchase the next one.

I purchased my used '16 Corolla at the end of 12/2...

I purchased my used '16 Corolla at the end of 12/2017. I attempted to have my oil changed by another company at the end of 3/2018. The third party informed me they would not attempt to change my oil due to the oil filter housing being torqued on too tightly, and that I needed to return to Toyota of Richardson to have it done. The oil change was performed on 3/30/2018 and I relayed the information.

I went to another company to have my oil changed on 6/25/2018. They informed me that the teeth on the oil filter housing had been stripped and that it would need to be replaced. Unfortunately a replacement part was not available at that time.

That would lead me to believe that the service department at Toyota of Richardson decided to reuse a part that they damaged when they removed it back in March. This situation as a whole is unacceptable and I do not appreciate the shady business practices. I now have to purchase a new part and will have a third party install it during my next oil change.

I will not do business with Toyota of Richardson again.

UPDATE: 7/15/2018

I was told in an email that the service manager would be reaching out to me. Two weeks later and I still haven t heard anything. I ll be buying my own replacement part and taking my business elsewhere. There are certainly better options in the DFW metroplex. Never again.

Sister-in-law was in a fix and needed a replacement key and programming for a recent model Venza and they quoted her $600+ to do it knowing they were the closest dealership for towing. I got her to take it to Pat Lobb Toyota and they did it for $280 all-in. Still not cheap but at least they were not trying to take advantage of a woman in a tough situation. Shame on you Richardson Toyota.

Never ever buy a used car from this dealership. From Sales to customer service is filled with crooks who deal with you like politicians asking for your vote. Once you buy a car and they made money off you, good luck expecting any help or customer service for anything related to your car. They sold me used civic with sctrached windows, broken door, and interior of the car so filthy that it makes a hobo look more clean. I was told it will all be fixed and the car would be brand new after purchase. Me being a first car owner just signed my soul to this devil. Well its been 2 weeks and they still giving me the run around without any fix. When i call my sale person who made these promises, he had the audacity to say that i am irritating him. Jeff was exceptional! He made sure I was going to be walking out of there with exactly what I want no matter how long it took or how many obsticles he had to jump over. He was completely on top of everything when they couldn't get me approved one way he made sure they tried another right then and there! Poor guy stayed far past the end of his shift and didn't even seem to mind.

After Migeal (spelling?) in the finance department found a better rate Jeff even personally came to my work so I could sign the new set of paperwork. (I'm a bartender at a restaurant) Jeff so kindly got something to go before leaving and even tipped me $10 on a $20 tab. What more can you ask for!

Jeff treated me like family it was by far the best car buying or any sorta purchse experience I could have even asked for!

Thanks Toyota of Richardson, Jeff and the whole team up there for taking great care of me. I will be enjoying my Tacoma for a long time!

Two stars because I hear the new car sales guys are okay, no comment on service since my family always went to Plano after my mom bought her first Toyota there 20 years ago. And besides my rant below they did negotiate a good deal with me, I ended up paying more elsewhere for almost identical but was worth it for my peace of mind.

I am giving this two star review due to my recent used car buying experience. The used car guys there are crooked. They will produce fake reports (borderline fraud if you ask me) and websites to show cars are sold at other dealerships. Then when they don't include the floor mats promised or buff out scratches they said they would buff out they will guilt trip you and continue to lie even after you call them out on it and show proof of their lies. Icing on the cake was they sent another used car sales guy out in a polo wearing an ADT badge who try's to convince you you got a good deal.

Pretty shady stuff. I am glad I didn't end up buying there. Carlos (The sales manager) feel free to call me so I can tell you how shady it was to be at your used car lot.

Horrible experience here! Had my 2019 car for only 3 weeks before their service department scratched it, without any follow up from the service manager who wouldn t call me back. Then after I finally get in contact with the customer relations manager after 2 weeks of not hearing from the other side, he has been VERY condescending and rude, claiming the car technically wasn t brand new and that they didn t do it, etc. Also can t get any follow up with anyone without having to call them, instead of them calling me like they always say they will. The service department didn t ever follow up with me, so I m amazed at how they know they didn t do it, when they don t have my side of the story. I have honestly hated just about every interaction I ve had with people at this facility.

Several weeks ago I had the time to commence my search for a new vehicle and visited Toyota of Richardson. I had the good fortune and opportunity to meet Ms. Sammy Malek who introduced me to the Avalon Hybrid. I was amazed by the vehicle which I would clearly call State of the Art! Respectfully, I was deeply impressed by her depth of knowledge of the vehicle and all the apps (and there were many!!). She clearly understood the vehicle and its various qualities as well as those of other cars she showed me. She is the consummate professional.

Equally as impressive was the fact that I never felt pressured nor threatened by her delivery and presence. While I will continue my due diligence, I am very likely to purchase the Avalon Hybrid from Ms. Malek. You buy the vehicle from the dealership but it is the integrity and transparency of the professional that truly closes the transaction.

I was actually coming to see the car next door and met a nice, young salesman named JP, that showed me the car of my dreams. I left because I needed to see more cars and thought this SE was out of my price range. Big mistake! Not one of the local dealers were as professional or courteous as JP, and sales managers Jeff and Derrell. They worked with me, called me to update me but not push me as others had, and were eager to find other cars that might match what I was looking for. After wasting a whole day with others giving me the run around at other dealerships, JP, Jeff, and Derrell went out of their way to show me other cars that matched my needs, then took it a step further to help me discover how the initial SE was in my range and was the car for me. They even stayed late to accommodate me bringing my trade in. This is the 3rd vehicle purchased with this dealership and I was mistaken to ever visit others. This SE is perfect for me and I'm confident I made the right choice with the three wise men guiding me. JP, no doubt you're going to have a dealership of your own someday. New to TX and purchased a Toyota 13 mos ago when I lived in WI. Had a nail in my tire and service advisor, Beth Anne helped me out beyond regular service. She admitted that the place I purchased my car from put too small of tires on my car so I would need a full set. That type of expense was definitely not affordable at the time and I was able to verbalize my disgust with the WI dealership and they maintained contact with her for full 4 tire replacement...within the day they were replaced on WI dime. I now get better mileage and it literally feels better driving. I'm glad I chose to service my car here and having Beth Anne tell me the truth and not just ignore it was very appreciated. I will continue to do business with this dealership and will recommend other to it as well!

If you ever decide to buy a car from Toyota of Richardson, I recommend you ask for Tony Azami. Tony Azami was very patient with me when I was checking the Van. Tony Azami never displayed any sign of discomfort when I had the car checked by my friend. Tony Azami did not pressured me to be hasty in buying the Van. Overall, Tony Azami fought for me to get me the price I wanted. I would recommend my Friends & Family to see Tony Azami at Toyota of Richardson if they ever wanted to buy a used car.

A few months ago Bruce helped us with the purchase of a new car and even when we came in for regular service today, he messaged us to make sure everything was still going well. Toyota of Richardson has been our car service and buying home for the last 8 years and we are very satisfied.

I had a bad experience with Beth Ann, I think that was her name, giving me a totally wrong diagnosis of my car. She told me that I had two bent rims (both the front and back one on the driver side) and showed me a picture of only the back one. I asked her to show me a picture of the other one and she claimed she didn't have one, but said it was "much worse" than the picture she showed me of the back one. She told me it would cost $400 to replace each rim. I took it to Toyota of Dallas for a second opinion, and they told me totally different information! They told me the front driver rim wasn't damaged at all (this is the rim she wouldn't show me a picture of), and told me it would cost only $150 to replace each rim. Toyota of Dallas told me $150, Beth Ann at Richardson told me $400 for the same thing. Not to mention the people in Dallas gave me a much better description and options on how to go about fixing my vehicle. I'm never going to Toyota of Richardson again. She seemed totally inexperienced!

5 stars babyy! This dealership operates exactly how a car dealership should. My experience went like this:
I looked up Toyota dealerships on my maps, Toyota of Richardson was the highest rated so I clicked on it. I called in and was immediately impressed when my sales professional Aaron Tunnell answered the phone. He was just that, a professional. I explained my tough situation to him and he took every step possible to explain to me exactly what I needed to do. Because the reviews were great, and Aaron was great(not pushy whatsoever) I decided I wanted to set an appointment up to check out a car. I received a follow up call from Aaron's manager Dorell who was also very professional and curtious, and I came in on the weekend. Aaron brought me in, we made some small talk, got to know each other a bit and then got down to business. I told him exactly what I wanted and he showed me 2 vehicles. Both were what I wanted but one was just perfect so I decided I wanted to buy it. The negotiations weren't really negotiations. I looked the car up online and it matched the exact price Aaron presented to me. I understand businesses need to make there profit, and that their online price is going to drive customers in, because it's about as low a price as they can do! So what negotiations need to be made??? He got me into finance in a timely matter(with Danny Tabora who was also wonderful and informative), was very thankful for my business, and because Aaron was so professional, I expect him and I will be conducting plenty more business in the near future.
People, I worked at a Honda dealership for a little less than a year. I understand the so called "tricks" and "scams" dealerships try to pull. You can trust me when I say there is none of that here, and they take their due diligence to make sure of that. I also understand the importance of getting genuine professionals out on the map. This is the first review I have EVER written on anybody and the reason is simple, this guy is changing the game. I guarantee if you work with Aaron you will be so happy with your experience and even happier with your car. So pick up the phone, call Toyota of Richardson, ask for Aaron Tunnell, and enjoy your vehicle.

We had a trade-in. Originally, we had planned to work with another dealership, but we decided to go to Toyota of Richardson before finalizing anything with anyone. At Toyota of Richardson, we worked with Ali, who was so amazing that we decided not to return to the other dealership and to do our trade-in with him. He was incredibly respectful and did not try to insult our intelligence. We received an excellent price for our trade-in, and he worked with us on the price of a used car purchase. Working with Ali was such a good experience, we will definitely work with him again.

In addition, working with the finance professional Dawn was also a very good experience. Based on previous buying experiences, I made sure to eat beforehand because I was preparing for a painfully long experience. I was, however, pleasantly surprised that the financing portion took very little time, and everything was well organized. Like Ali, Dawn was professional, pleasant, and respectful. Overall, this was a excellent purchasing experience, and I strongly recommend this dealership and working with Ali (for the sale) and Dawn (for the financing).

No point in making an appointment to get service done. As they treat walk ins with the same priority as someone who has an appointment. I had an appointment, drove in and rolled my window down. Waited 5 minutes, nobody approached me so I went inside and asked for someone. Was told to go wait in my car, 5 minutes later someone finally decided it was worth their time to come out to talk to me.

Bottom line even if you have free service from buying a new Toyota you are better off paying at another place.

They took my car for light inspection without telling me. When I told them I didn't ask them to do the inspection, they told me the job has been done, couldn't waive the fee. I have to pay it.

David is a great customer advisor for your car service. He listens to client's needs. He respects client waiting time and offer a rental car if the client's car has to be fixed longer than expected. He doesn't push you to fix everything as suggestions at the moment in dealer service.

I got my car 2 years back and so took my friend as a referral. The referral seemed to be ~$100. But to my surprise while taking the $12,000 car the manager flatly refused any referral and told me he had to do ~$130 additional work on the car ! I felt very much insulted in front of my friends. Seems like you took my referral to pay for the fixes ! Not men of their words.
