I had a recall done here where they had to work with the master switch on my car. About a couple weeks after my switches all fall in the door. Granted I waited a while instead of immediately getting it looked at (Busy life ya know?). Anywho, when I called to see if they would take a look at it, the service guy was dead fast on it not being their fault. .... I am not sure what to think about it because it's not like I pushed the switches into the door, I barely even use the switches since I am the main driver, no kids, no travelers or extra people. It is just me. I feel like had they not even messed with the master switches, I wouldn't have had this problem at all. Now I'm looking at hundreds of dollars to repair it.

Dionisio Montes helped me find the perfect car he was super helpful, patient, and he listened to everything I wanted in a car. Danny Tabora helped me with financing my car he was very helpful and understanding. Thanks Dionisio Montes and Danny Tabora I am now driving my lovely car. Both Danny Tabora and Dionisio Montes are very professional and willing to help you. Overall the best dealership customer service I have ever gotten. The only Toyota dealer in the area whose service department doesn't close at 5 pm!

Don't know what it is about D/FW, but most businesses that aren't restaurants, entertainment or shopping keep bankers' hours, which stinks for we proletarians. I didn't realize what a luxury it was to have 3 Toyota dealerships near me back in Chicago that had service hours until midnight, where you could drive in without an appointment, if need be.

The service department staff at Toyota of Richardson is much friendlier and exudes a more welcoming attitude than did the staff at the first store I had visited. (Disclaimer: the first 2 year/25K mile services were included with my new Prius.) I felt more like a guest and less like a number. Another plus, albeit one I hope to never need, is their on-site collision center.

Everything being bigger in Texas, the service department is not attached to the dealership proper. It's about 2 blocks away. You can go through the dealership parking lot, but it's simpler to take a right turn at the side street just before you get there.

After I shopped all the Toyota dealers in DFW area, Toyota of Richardson was the most professional and best deal by a significant amount! I got exactly what I wanted at the very best price. I'm covered bumper to bumper for 8 years or 100,000 miles on EVERYTHING with Toyota extended warranties, so my only car expenses are monthly payment, insurance and gas, and since I purchased a Toyota Avalon Limited Hybrid my monthly gas exense will be cut by a minimum of 50 to 60%, which is so Eco friendly and beneficial!

I contacted every Toyota dealership in the area about a Tacoma, and Harvey Wilson followed up with me by phone and invited me to come in and find the vehicle I wanted. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and when the exact specifications I required for my Tacoma could not be found on the lot, he and Jonathan Hart searched the entire Toyota inventory and reserved the very next one coming into the port for me. The truck arrived just as promised, and the sales process was quick and painless. I came with outside financing, but Morgan was able to offer a rate and payment that exceeded my expectations. Toyota of Richardson with work with you on pricing and finding the exact features you want in a vehicle, and every salesperson is extremely friendly and helpful. I am a first time buyer, so i thought it was going to be difficult, but it wasn't at all! Aaron was my salesman and he was amazing! Not pushy, was very great at explaining everything. Be aware of the service department at Toyota of Richardson, they don't live up to their word. The agreement is $140 diagnostic fee which will be applied to repairs if you choose to have them done. That's it. Nothing more. No caveat. No asterisk. Nothing. Until they call you back and say "we took it for a test drive and think it may be "this" and so we need to do "this" to continue to diagnose it...and by the way that will be $641...but we don't know it that is even the problem." Their explanation..."sorry for the misunderstanding". But...I didn't misunderstand. Toyota of Richardson didn't live up to their word.

Spoke to Jeff, service guy, arranged an appt to have side mirror looked at and TPMS switch looked at. Get this, comes back says I owe them 86 for diagnostic testing. Never asked for, nor was told this would be done, yet I now owe them. Did they fix mirror? No. Did they fix TPMS? No. Yet I owe money for a service never requested. RUN!!!!!!!! IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

Never buy a used car from this dealership. From Sales to customer service , no one can be trusted. I got a used Toyota Corolla 2013 model from here. Until I signed the contract everyone seemed nice and felt like they had my best interests at heart but I realized I was so wrong 3 months into the car. This was my first car, and i thought "hey, the people here are there to help me, I can trust them" but that is not true at all. They hit my Credit history 4 times and my husbands history twice for the car loan. The hard hits are still on my credit history would stay for another year. I called the finance department but no reply. They sold me a useless plan just because i had taken the car on finance. It was mentioned that I can cancel this plan after 6 months, and when I called them to cancel the plan, it kept going to voicemail. I left around 6 voicemails but never got a reply back. They did not send me any email for the first month free car maintenance, which i then missed off-course and then had to pay for the maintenance. Its just been a year since i bought the car and now I have to get all four tires replaced and the battery replaced because it was so bad when i bought the car. Maybe because i was a first time buyer I made to the mistake of trusting the dealership to at-least provide me details about the problems in the car and price me based on that. I know dealerships want to make max profits but they should not cheat people like this.

Unlike the overly negative reviews on Yelp, I had a fine experience purchasing a pre-owned Scion from Toyota of Richardson, more in line with the reviews on Google.

After exchanging a couple e-mails with Cesar Sotelo, he connected me with Miguel Alvarez who did an awesome job on minimizing the pain of the buying process. Granted, I had done my homework with Consumer Reports, Edmunds, TRUECar, etc. so I came in prepared as we had already identified the vehicle we were interested in, pre-approved financing from USAA, our personal budget, insurance premiums, etc.

But Miguel was very sensitive to our wants and needs. Even the obligatory visit to the Finance guy, Danny Tabora, went very smoothly as Danny was also friendly and personable, as well as sensitive to our time constraints.

I hope that Yelp readers take the negative reviews of Toyota of Richardson with a grain (pound?) of salt, as I would highly recommend 1) doing your homework, and 2) and visiting Toyota of Richardson for your next car purchase.

I hope to spend 4X more with them on a new vehicle in the very near future.

I purchased my truck new from Toyota of Richardson 11 years ago and everything has been very easy since. I ve had most of my maintenance and even some body work (minor accident) performed at their service dept. while I ve lived in Texas. Everyone is always professional and courteous and I m given realistic timeframes. I ve lived in 3 other states over the past few years and have went to other dealers for convienince, and none of them compare!

I have had three Toyotas in the past 3 years, I cannot find a good service center. This one has not so great customer service. I had an appointment there a couple weeks ago. and the service advisor didnt get with me until 15 minutes later to introduce himself. They have a weird set up over here.
The biggest complaint i have for this place is that he address for the service center is not the same address for the dealership. Even the website for Toyota of Richardson has the address wrong for their service drive.
My tip for this place is when people call in to make an appointment at least tell them that the service drive at the dealership is not for Toyota, they need to drive down the street.

Initial impression was good to me for this place. But later found that they charge a lot comparing with other toyota dealer. Also they will lie to you that you need to change some of your car parts, which is very very minor things.
I bought a used Rav4 and took it to their for regular maintenance like oil change, tire rotation. They told me that I have to change both cabin and air filter. I thought i can change them by myself. So why would i pay them? Later I found that, all my filters are good, kind of new.

This shop diagnoses the problem, replaces a part, and returns the car to the owner without making sure that the problem was solved or even test driving the car to make sure it is ok. Expect to return your car many times before it is fixed properly. I brought in my car in February and it is August already and Toyota seems to have destroyed my car while it was is in their care but I get to pay to fix the new problem. They are starting to take responsibility for what they did and I am hoping to be able to drive my car again someday.

Toyota of Richardson is the epitome of crooked car salesman. the whole lot of them. if you are in Dallas , shop any other Toyota or you are guaranteed to have to keep an eye open for their deceit. They refused to give me a copy of my contract, stating they needed a copy of the insurance. I cannot insure it or take possession of it without knowing whats in the contract. drove there to get a copy of the contract and was informed they had insured the car, so now a copy of the contract could be made available. one look at it and it was evident why they had to withhold a copy of the contract, it had $3500 IN UNSCRUPULOUS CHARGES. i requested to cancel the deal to which they replied. It has already funded. No worries lets call the finance company and I can a. get them to reverse it or b. use my financing at another dealership. they replied this cannot be done as they has already applied tax title and license fees to the state with my downpayment. Bear in mind . AT NO POINT IN THIS PROCESS DID THEY HAND ME THE CAR KEYS!!!!!! So its been a week of them telling me I signed and I need to come and get the car and I am telling them I want to buy my car with someone else but they insist on holding may down payment hostage because I changed my mind to go with another deal. BTW , they told me the car, that I never drove off their lot, is now considered used and they must account for that loss.

After having an unpleasant experience a few years back, an online sales rep reached out to me to try and make things right. I was not in the market of buying a new pickup but was unhappy with the Dodge we bought next door a couple years ago. I decided to stop by during my lunch and look at one of the Tundras on my lunch and met Alden Jones and Willie Pugh.. two great salesman who make you feel like long time friends. Genuine and friendly in character. I stopped by after work to go ahead and run the numbers and that evening with the help of sales manager Nick Williams and finance manager Chase Vaughn, i was able to drive off the lot that evening with my wifes new pickup. They did not waste my time when i was there and were upfront of all fees and what was included which was amazing considering my situation with the Ram. I will definitely send all family and friends to buy from Toyota of Richardson and if you go because of my review please make me your reference... Royal Moreno! Thanks everyone at Toyota!

Be careful! Look closely to the numbers and term of the contracts, they may not tell you the truth! Sales staff member and financial staff failed to explain the term of the extended warranties clearly. For instance, they told me that I would have 60 days to cancelled the 100k miles extended warranty with full refund if I change my mind so go ahead to buy it! In fact, the small prints showed that in Texas, I had only 30 days to cancel to get the full refund. And they didn't tell me the refund goes to my loan ballance with the bank instead back to me! Worst of all, in order for me to read all the small prints on the extended warranty contract, I had to write them a check to pay for the car and for it so I could take the contract home to read through. The Financial Rep. almost charged me $200 more than the mutually agreed amount. If I didn't spot this, I would have paid $200 more! I lost my trust for them!

Purchased a truck recently and first day had to be taken to dealership. Had really bad death wobble, bad oil leak, and a CCV leak. Only had 2/32 tread left on tires and they would not honor there "thorough" inspection on used vehicles. I asked if they would replace them.. Said all it needed was rotors turned. Didn't even get inspection report to tell me it needed new tires. I, also, had to get it detailed as it still had dog hair and dust everywhere from previous owner. I contacted them but no loaner while the truck is still in the shop. I traded in two custom vehicles that were pristine to get a half looked over $60k truck. Not happy at all. Would give less than one star if possible at this point.

But it's been 3 months, I been calling, sending emails and went by few times, they are still not returning my $1000, there excuse is that it's been too long (3 months) so accounting department has no record for this transaction. I am very disappointed with my past experience with Toyota of Richardson. I bought a car there two years ago and had a pleasant experience which is why I returned. The managers and sales reps I worked with this time were extremely unprofessional and unethical. I discovered a problem with the car I wanted to purchase and wanted to work out something out because I was still interested in the car and the issue was not on original car listing. instead of trying to work out a deal, they said someone else will buy the car with the problems (even though the problems are not listed and were discovered through a mechanic I hired) Please pay attention and be careful when working with Toyota of Richardson.

I bought a used car here and it was not a great experience at all. The salesman that helped me was fine but my situation involved several members of sales management and finance management. The car I purchased had been traded in a day before I purchased it so it was still in pre occupied condition which I understood. They said they needed a week to get it through their reconditioning process as well as the service center to do all their tests and procedures they do on traded in cars. Well I gave them 2 weeks actually and I called and and they said it was ready to go. I show up later that afternoon and they car looks clean on the outside but when you get in you can clearly tell that they did just a piss poor quick job of the interior detail. Dog hair, dirty headliner, soft drink splatter near cup holders just to name a few things there were noticeable immediately. I tell them this is unacceptable and that I felt like they took advantage of the situation knowing the car was already sold and did not have to get the car lot ready to sell that they cut corners and. The sales manager said they would never do that. But I stopped him in his tracks when I said I guess they put cars on the lot for sale with dog hair still in them ? They told me they were going to run it through detail again and call me when it s done. So I come back two days later and the second detail has been done. It s better but still below par. I just accept and move on to the finance department. Well finance went well in the office but then I realize on my credit report a month later that I have two identical auto loans taken out under my name for the same amount with two different lenders. This obviously a huge mistake and I call the lenders involved questioning what s going on and they both tell they have received loan contracts from the dealer for the loan they have on record for me. Well here we go back to the dealer now to deal with their finance department. I get a whoops our fault we will take care of it. Well it s been a week, two weeks, three weeks and 10 phone calls and still not taken care of and now I m receiving notices from the lender I did not take a loan out with saying payment is coming due blah blah and more phone calls to dealer finance and still no change in status. Going on five weeks now still no resolve and we down to payment due in just a few days and I kee calling the lender that I never signed off to have a loan with and they keep telling me there is nothing they can do that the loan is valid and the dealer needs to retract the loan because the dealer has already been paid for the car by them through direct deposit. So this dealers accounting is so jacked up that they don t even question and extra large sum deposit that they received for no reason and just let me sit with two loans that I m supposed to make a payment on in three days. All this could have been avoided if they weren t trying to play they old finance rate game with me so they could shove a extended warranty down my throat and it could have been avoided if they questioned why they had an extra large sum deposit to them for no given reason. I had to take up hours and hours my own time to follow up on this situation for way to long and it all could have been avoided if this was a dealer that was doing what they are supposed to do. In the end the loan got canceled in the last hour and I ended up with the car I wanted but I will never buy here again even if they have the car I want.

I was dealing with David DeLozier (and Mo Sherbi in the business office) over the phone and e-mail. Mike Plazek met me at the airport and took me through the test-drive and the rest of the process, with Ross closing the deal in the finance office. Buying from out of state is risky and establishing trust is important. This team did everything I asked, so before I got on the plane I had the contract with all figures in hand (Mo raced to FEDEX it to me the day before). David managed the whole process and did his best to alleviate my concerns. Still I was on my toes expecting a catch till the very last moment, it never came. Mike did all the groundwork and he was simply outstanding, I didn't feel like I was talking to a salesman at all. He put me at ease from the moment I stepped out of the terminal till I drove away. His ambition and enthusiasm for his work is very clear, as is his concern to be fair and deliver on the given promises.All in all, the experience, the car, and the price were highly worth flying to Dallas (from SFO) and the drive back.

Their service organization really sucks. Now I am also starting to question their honesty.
I have been working with them for over 8 months on a warrantee repairs. They don't have the parts and cannot get the parts to fix Toyota's faulty designs. All I get is finger pointing between this dealership and Toyota. The service advisor, at times does not even bother to respond to my emails.
I have purchased Toyotas since the late 70's. I am so frustrated now that this will be the last Toyota I ever purchase!!!
