I have been a repeat customer ever since this used to be Ron Carter Toyota. I have leased 3 vehicles in the past. I decided to turn in my lease and purchase a new vehicle instead of starting a new lease. I'm happy with my new vehicle, a 2018 Highlander, but the sales experience was less than desirable. Certain items were not fully explained or glossed over. The quality has declined.
On a separate note, the service department is great and very courteous. I will still go there for service but not for a purchase.
Salesman Avery was a tremendous help. Even offered a test drive right away!
One problem after another. Bait and switch. Unethical practices. Contacted legal counsel.

Purchased a 2020 Sienna and was very fortunate to work with Austin Gilder, and his promptness was amazing. He sent me a short video of one that was on the lot so I would know exactly what was there before coming to look. It all looked good, except it was not the color we wanted. He then made great effort to locate the preferred color and called me back in a short period of time. He arranged for us to pick it up in Alvin which means we didn't have to spend hours of driving to get it.
It was quite a pleasant experience having Austin do some great leg work for us finding what we wanted and we also met some other great people: Jeff, Brian, and Isabella. We also get the extra benefits included with purchasing a vehicle from Toyota of Alvin.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in 2014 and purchased a $2599 apex protection plan because I was told that if I didn't use the plan my money would be refunded. So I waited out the term of the plan and didn't use any part of it! Then waited until I was back in town to redeem the refund. When I was there in September 2017 I filled out the refund form and was told to expect a check within 90days. After waiting and hearing nothing I contacted the dealership and was told they could not locate my paperwork! And that there was no refund because the expiration date had passed. I was never told that the form had to be filled out before that time and that information was nowhere in the contracts I signed. I was lied to by several members of the toyota of alvin staff. Be very careful if you ever think to purchase a car from this establishment. They will likely lie to you and take your money as well.

Brought my car in for service, 2003 Camry, Andrew made me feel important and took the time to understand my concerns. With an older car, I expect to get surprised by what they'll find, Andrew took the time to explain each charge and the priority that each had. I can't afford to fix all at once so we worked through the list and repaired the now items and I'll be back for the rest. Would recommend service dept, don't know anything about sales dept since I haven't bought a new car in a while.
Deceitful and unethical sales practices. I am really surprised that anyone will give them more than 1 star! perhaps their imaginary customers are boosting their ratings!
They will say and promise anything to get you to visit their dealership then the show starts. General manager, James, promised a price for a new car then reneged as soon as we arrived.
Stay away and save your time...you have been forewarned!
I went to Toyota of Alvin, in the market for a Tundra. I found the truck I loved but more than that I found a salesman that I loved working with. Randy Nguyen was professional and courteous. He helped me get the truck I wanted within my price range and he cared more about me than his bottom dollar. I wish buying a car was always this easy. He definitely has my business in the future.

Khalid got right on it! The diagnostic tests ran longer than I expected, and only one item could reasonably be fixed on my 2006 Matrix. The car wash was below average. Streaks of dirt were left on the driver side and rear. Not your usual job!

Emily was my car sales person. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She was patient with me when I ask what kind of changes could be made to the price to make it fit my budget. She was also kind enough to make sure I got dinner in the cafe paid for while I waited to meet with the finance department. I would work with her again. I met with Theo in the finance department. He was very cheerful and made the financing process very easy and straight forward. I appreciated his honesty and his humor :) Compared to finance departments I have worked with in the past, they were the least confusing and most generous! Another bonus was that the dealership had a play room which kept our 20 month year old busy while we shopped.
Had an overall great experience at the dealership. The salesmen Daniel and Al did a great job of taking care of me and putting me in a new Rav4 for the right price. I will definitely come back for any future car needs.
I ordered a 2018 Tacoma in February. Several weeks later I inquired if there would be a price increase due to the steel tariffs. I never got an answer. At the 3 month mark, I called in and asked what the status was on my order. When I ordered it, I was told it could be as much as 6 months. I was just curious to see where it was in the pipeline. I never got an answer, again.
Fast forward, 2 weeks to the deadline. I went to the dealership to check status in person. Saturday is the wrong day to do this. I was told that I would get a call Monday. Oh boy did I! After five and a half months, they let me know that Toyota had cancelled my order. Let me repeat that part. Five and a half months after ordering my truck, they let me know I would not be getting it. Two weeks before delivery! I waited five and a half months. After a call from the sales manager, just kidding, never heard from or saw him, a contract specialist gave me my deposit money back.
I cannot stress enough, I was led on for 5 1/2 months. Horrible communication to start with and then to learn that my business was not worthy of a call or email or even smoke signals. I'll get my Tacoma, just not here. They didn't keep my money, but they did waste my time. 5 1/2 months worth !!!

After a week of negotiating, I went there to sign the contract. However, the salesperson made a mistake about calculating the tax and the final price was higher than I expected. So we couldn't reach an agreement and I left. The next day Austin Gilder called me and apologized for what happened and told me they will honor the deal. He was a really nice person, paid for my Uber ride from Houston to Alvin! did all the paperwork for me and filled the gas tank all the way. He went beyond my expectation and made the deal really sweet for me.

I had an oustanding sales asssociate. Americo was very patient with me because I was very indecisive on what kind of vehicle I wanted. I really wanted to go to another dealership but I was asked to check out the vehicles at Toyota of Alvin per Americo my sales associate and I was not going to purchase that day. But, after looking at couple of vechicles I found the one. I have never owned a new vehicle in my life and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Now I feel like a Queen in my new whip.

Do I have to give this place a star??!!! I just got BAIT AND SWITCHED HERE!!! I called yesterday to see if they had a work truck for my company. Jeremy explained they did have this truck that was in my pricec range, and miles I was looking for. Jeremy greeted me when I got there. After 30 minutes another sales rep brought out a different truck and explained "I'm sorry, the one he was talking about is actually an employees truck." LAME!!! After fuming I left no one cared.
I Then decided to come back to just make sure this was in fact the case as I really needed to purchase that car today. Apparently this car never existed.
The sales manager then, only then!! Found out about this poor customer service. I told him I was going to report them to the BBB... he then offered a gift card, not gunna make me happy as I've lost a whole work day messing with this place. He offered to pay for my gas because he knew I drove 45 minutes from Houston to get this promised truck- well I filled up my tank before I left.
I asked if Jeremy was around so I could talk to him he said no. He was hiding in the back when I turned around.

I live in Spring Tx, next to Fred Hass Toyota. I drove to Alvin (one hour away) because there prices were the best in all of Houston and surroundings. I've check Humble, Conroe and Don Macgill Toyota and no one was even close to their deals. I initially spoke to Shelby Pate about the vehical I saw online, she was very professional and knowledgeable, also very nice. She proceeded to send me over to the sales department where I had the pleasure of speaking to Bruno Conner, he was very soft spoken and did not pressure me into making any decisions. He worked with me until I felt completely comfortable with the price and resolved any of my concerns. Overall, hands down one of the best car experiences I have ever had. Hats off to these guys and ladies, you have a costumer for life!

Worst experience ever trying to by car. If you buy a car from them you have problems. They don t take no for answer.... No problem with salesman but the management... And don t give them your driver license they won t give it back when you ask them.... I have owned 4 different Toyota s and never been treated this way....
I've always had great service from their service dept. Their express service lane is much faster than other dealerships for oil changes and other routine service work.
I went in yesterday evening to test drive a few cars and get a feel for what I wanted to go with at a future date after I had all my finances in order. Met with Austin, did a test drive, and fell in love with the 2020 Avalon. Decided to start the process and it was excellent!! He got me what I wanted for my trade in and for my monthly payment. There was a minor issue with the battery but it was taken care of the day after the purchase (today) at not cost to me! Overall, it was a superb experience and I would recommend Austin to anyone!

Staff were friendly as would be expected. However, look closely at the numbers they give you. I kept having to correct amounts on documents. It always seemed to be higher than negotiated. It happened way too many times with the sales and financial personnel. Frankly, it was unprofessional and suspicious.
