Visited the Toronto zoo on a Sunday during March , there was sunshine and also had cool breeze in the air.
We approached parking around 12 noon , plenty of parking places you are not charged while you enter the parking , buy your parking tickets (14$) along with your zoo tickets at the entry . Make sure you hold on to the parking ticket safe as the barcode in the parking ticket is used for scanning when you exit . The problem with this is there is a lot of traffic when you exit . Be prepared for it .
Ticket costed 22.5$ at the general admission. As it was during offseason few of the animal exhibits were mentioned closed before the entry but when we entered we could find few more exhibits were closed as well.
Indian one horned rhino was too good to watch , lions , tigers were good too .
Zoo felt safe and there were exhibits of animals and birds from across the different parts of the world.
Be ready to walk as we had to walk over atleast 5 miles , as it was an off-season many of the snack bars were closed too .
Hoardings and directions were specific and the map shared at the entrance was helpful in navigation .
We wanted to see the moose but once we went there it was closed, also same is the case with bears.
Polar bears were fantastic to watch and it was the main attraction to watch .
this place can have more staffs and Also can be maintained a bit well .
We were able to see Tim Horton coffee cup inside the orangutans exhibit .
But we loved the zoo and lot of happy kids faces . Be ready to walk , carry your snacks during off season and choose a good day ( neither hot nor cold) while visiting this place . Kids will have a lot of fun for sure
