Great place to spend a day! Zoo is really really big so unless you take a ride be prepared to walk a lot. Some animals were not there (elephants and kangaroos) but I guess it's seasonal. Also it's better to come earlier otherwise main parking lot gets packed and they send cars to another one which is a bit far.
Food options are not great, suggest to take your own meal.
