First time. Jason was our server and he was great! The manager was very nice too. Best service we've had since moving to Florida. Will definitely come back.. Thank you!
Food always over cooked we have eaten there more than a dozen times. I remember the old Toby Roma's and it was the bomb everything was excellent. Now they have become pretentious with their attempt to create an upscale restaurant that did not work. Don't know why people mess with what was working. Sunny isles go back to the original menu were the ribs were the best around without all the foo foo dishes that don't work
The worst service of recent years. The waiter Gino is a mess. He forgot the food. He did not bring the drink. I will never go to that place again
The worst service This restaurant chain is getting worse and worse. Poorly attended. Very small dishes They forget the order.
Great ribs. Lives up to the reputation. Not too expensive either. Food took longer than usual to come.
Potato soup. Original baby ribs
Deliciaaaaaa. Good attention.
Tony Roma's, just the name brings back memories of my younger days in Miami. But we're talking about now present day, right?
Ribs were dried out drek, rib eye wasnt bad, appetizers pedestrian.
Only their signature onion rings remain as they were 50 years ago
and thats a good thing.
Great bar area to hang, Steve the bartender! Server Christine is always the best...but dont go by me. I will forever think of T.R. as a once nostalgic, romantic memory
of days gone by.....not like that anymore.
In August of 2018, my husband and I had went to another Tony Roma's that was located in Orlando, FL and we were impressed with the atmosphere, staff and especially the food. It was a wonderful dining experience. We had made reservations for this location in Sunny Isles Beach, FL while on vacation expecting athe same romantic ambience. We were expecting a chain restaurant to have consistently when it comes to their business. We were shocked at the huge difference between the two locations. It felt more like a small town, outdated, brightly lit up family restaurant rather than a fine dining experience similar to the one we had in Orlando.
First time here service is very poor we waiting 2 hours for our check . The air was off we had to ask for water .
The waitress was terrific, the entertainment phenomenol, and the food fantastic. Thank you for making my partner's birthday dinner so memorable. We hope to do it again next year. Thank you once again!
Ideal for eating the famous ribs with barbecue sauce. The good thing about the place is that you can eat outside, although the bad thing is that there is always someone who smokes ...
I had not eaten that a Tony Roma's in several years and returning was not very satisfying. The portion sizes were like kids plates but adult prices. I ordered the ribs with a baked potato and rice but later the rice was horrible so I asked for the mac and cheese but because it was considered a premium side I could not substitute so I was charged 4 dollars for the mac and cheese only to get a scoop. Literally it was a scoop and it was not that great. The waiter was okay but he tried to sell the mac and cheese as if it was the greatest thing on the menu and he didn't see a problem with the portion size
Good restaurant. But service could be better for the price.
Good food, sirloin steak was good, prices and service was good. Atmosphere was good.
I m a reasonable person but I would give this place zero stars if I could. My sister informed the sweaty server, Jason, that we were celebrating my mother s birthday and asked if they could sing happy bday at the end. Um, we don t sing happy birthday here he said.
Imagine our surprise when 2 minutes later, three servers serenaded happy birthday to the table across the room.
After waiting for 3 fountain drinks and one mixed drink for over 20 minutes, I finally asked to speak with the manager who wasn t sincere in her apology and claimed they don t really sing happy birthday, but will do so if asked. I m sorry, did we not ask? At this point I was so over the experience and convinced my mother that she deserved better for her birthday. I just wish we d left 30 minutes earlier and not wasted our time.
The beef short ribs were old and salty.. The risotto was very good. The asparagus were also good. You only receive 2 pieces of meat with the entree. Tried it because it was new.
The price? 23.00 for a full rack of baby back ribs. The size? Both Shortys and Flannigans are way larger and bigger than here. The BBQ sauce on top of the ribs? Would be nice if they would have stopped once they had rubbed half a gallon of it, but no, they went the whole thing .( Nasty) Now, we weren t that hungry so my wife asked to split the plate. They bring the fries on one serving and the coleslaw on the other. What the hell guys? Tony Romas cant afford 15 more damned fries and a spoonful of coleslaw on the other plate? Just looked so cheap. Sorry, I hadn t been here in over 15 years. I guess I ll give them another shot in 2033.
I love this place! Awesome food and superb staff!! <3
Meals were good. Steak Salad was fresh but lacked punch.
Typical Tony Roma restaurant. Service is good. Food is very good.
The service was great, the cheese burger was second to none. It was a clean building with a good atmosphere. It didn't take too long but was not quick.
Mega good food. I especially recommend the shrimp with chili ...
It was expensive for 2nd rate food as a former chef for 27 years i have to say you need to hire people who care about cooking to get a review
Lousy service the food was not good we had to return a fish for the smell that had nothing fresh and the super bad attention I never eat there again
Great service but the quality of the food is not that impressive, very expensive
Great ribs take out and nice Martini by very personable and professional bartender, Eric, while waiting during a very lively and upbeat crowd on Xmas weekend!
We first went here on our first day of vacation, and let me tell you when we were waiting for our order they took really long and I was tired of waiting. I'm not the only one with this issue right? but at last the food was delicious ^-^
The RiB are the best in the world. To do and redo without hesitation. In addition it is not very expensive. That is the demand of the people !?
I had delicious Babyback Ribs with coleslaw and fries. The service was fast and efficient. We were 8 in our party and it was no problem to get separate checks. If you like to sit outside they have lots of space. You even can smoke right at the table.
If you want to eat ribs this is the place to go. The special is that barbecue ribs. But they also do so beef ribs. There we go I'm getting hungry again. LOL. The view is beautiful. Right on Collins Avenue, in Miami Beach. You can see the ocean. Surrounded by beautiful Condominiums. Very nice people. Employees are great. Lots of parking lot. Safe place to go. Bartenders are okay. Prices are a little pricey. But it's well worth the money. The food is worth it. Sally took great. I definitely enjoy, to Caesar salads. The french fries are crispy. Pacific potatoes are delicious. To have large Booth seating areas. And tables as well.
I haven't been here in a while and wanted some baby back ribs. When I received the ribs it seems like the quality has really gone down and the drinks were okay
dirty, ansty staff, rude staff....... zero stars if available.
Good food reasonably priced. Funky smell when entered door. Limited menu
Big improvement under the new management. A year ago I swear I will never go back, but, we decided to try it again and we were all pleasantly surprised.
We had some food that tasted wierd, but usually everything is great.
The margaritas were delish daaahling and the lamb chops were surprisingly tender!
I have been in Tony Roma s for years and in many different locations. The flavor on the ribs are incredibly delicious. However, they do not serve the traditional fall-off the bone beef ribs. These are tough and chewy on the second bite and come out somewhere between medium-well to well-done. It s a shame Tony Roma s do not attempt to achieve the correct way to cook and serve traditional BBQ beef ribs.
Our meal was delicious as always! I had Beef ribs and my wife had baby back ribs and they were cooked perfectly and the sauce is amazing! Our waitress was super efficient and very sweet. Don't remember her name but she is due to have her first baby in a month! Congrats and Good Luck!
Its a great place if you are really hungry but their service is weird. We got the entrees first and then the appetizers and the entree's came at different times so I had to wait for my food while my boyfriend ate and he felt really bad.
The service was horrible, our waitress never came to us, even when there was no one else in the restaurant. She never asked if we care for another
Beverage, even though our cups were empty. We had to walk to the bar to get the check, 30 minutes after we finished eating. She walked passed us multiple times without acknowledging us getting up and asking for the check. Would NOT recommend,
Especially when you are in a rush!
$25 steak meals. $25 all you can eat ribs. Excellent food
Looks like an upmarket restaurant from outside and a diner from inside. Tablecloths would help. Good food and attentive service though.
very good attention, prices not cheap but very well attended
Food was tasty. Ordered a mojito and water; never got the water. Was told after we put our order in we would get bread; never got bread. Ordered 1/4 bbq chicken, dark meat; served white meat.
The food isn't prepared the way it used to be done.
My family and I decided to come on New Years, I understand it s a holiday but they were open so why not. I made a reservation two weeks prior (since it was 13 of us) but when I called the of the reservation to confirm it, they couldn t find it. They said it was okay and I can still make another one for 9:30pm. We showed up at 9:12pm and they didn t have a table available for us. We waited about half and hour and they put some tables together in the middle of way of the servers coming out of the kitchen. It was confusing because our server said it was okay but they rest kept approaching and saying we couldn t be there and that it was a problem. We asked the manager if we could get a table at this reserved and empty room (probably for events idk) and we took us there. We were feeling better and Lisa was awesome! We ordered our drinks, appetizers and dinner. The cocktails were very week and bland (we order different ones so it was not only me) after that the appetizers came in. They were the only good thing they served us. The food started to arrive and we had more problems. This is supposed to be a place we re steaks are their specialty but clearly they wanted us out there quickly. Most of us ordered medium rare but the steak was COMPLETELY raw inside but slightly cooked on the outside. Even the well done steak was red inside, plus the croutons were stale (they said it was because they were closing soon which doesn t explain why they were stale) I didn t eat any that was in my steak salad, the pieces were raw inside and were cold (clearly old). Two people order a chicken sandwich but had to take back to the kitchen because the sauce had way to much cumin. I tried it too. They order a burger but once again it was raw inside, there was literally blood coming out of the patty. I understand it s New Year s Eve but that why I made a reservation 3 hours before they closed but they weren t prepared to reservations are pointless. Why accept people there if you re gonna serve them raw and old food. We were disappointed and we re never coming to this place ever again (gave us a horrible impression of tony Roma s) we would rather go to Steak n Shake! At least they cook their burgers. I would give it zero stars if it wasn t for Lisa, she was nice even though she was working on New Years. I try to give places an opportunity and this my first one star review but this was just horrible. Can t believe we paid $300 for old and uncooked food.
