Tony Romas Review

We should have read the reviews before coming here. Like previous posters have said, the wait is long and the food is mediocre. I had the Cajun seared mahi mahi with wild rice and mixed vegetables. The fish was poorly seasoned and overcooked. The rice tasted like the boxed stuff from the store. The mixed vegetables were pretty good.

I would not recommend this restaurant.

Very good food and very nice service. We had the baby back ribs and they were perfect to the point. Come back very happy.

Foods is nice, prices are decent, ambiance is pleasant. We were seated quickly and ordered our food, but the waiter gave us one additional plate we didn t order + no napkins though I have asked. Don t like it when I have to wait.

Excellent place to eat Ribs of Pork. Its very good. The attention is great, all very attentive and you attend quickly.
The price is good for a restaurant, it's not fast food. They give you an entree and the plates are plentiful.

They should put less air conditioning is too cold whenever I get out of there I get sick

The service was pretty good but some of the food we ordered was quite average. Overall it was a nice experience with the family.

Classic Roma's. The way it should be. Great food, excellent service. Onion loaf was immense. Ribs were excellent. 100/100.

Excellent service by our server Mo, sat on the patio, it was very nice. Food was excellent and large portions.

The food is really great and their hostess Armani has been an exceptionally good host to me and my family, I've never seen anyone nicer. If Toni Rama's management come across this review I suggest that she gets a raise.

Good food, good service, exaggerated air conditioning, a lot of cold

Let me start by saying that I am a food critic who has been many to many restaurants. I enjoy visiting new countries and tasting all types of food. I used to love Tony Romas till this one sunday morning when at exactly 12pm they open and i was the very first guest. I was extremely hungry...ordered a hamburger and there it was that hair my bun. I told the waitress she took it and switch it. The MANAGER brought it out and said "oh sorry i pulled their hairs off in the kitchen" that was all she said!! I was the first person how is it possible a place like this to be soooo dirty ??? The worst is that they didnt even seemed truly apologetic. I was fully charged for not eating someone's pubic or facial hair.

Eric was knowledgeable and made great recommendations! Enjoyed our meal and the atomsphere. We will be back!

We went to celebrate my son's birthday, we had a great time, they have a special room with a large table for 16 of us, very comfortable. Very good service, very friendly everyone. Rich food.

Great place to eat and excellent service..(Our server was also amazing) The manager was amazingly awesome and was super attentive with everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this spot.

our first tony roma's was in orlando and since we enjoyed it there, we wanted to stay in this one too!
unfortunately, we came to the conclusion that orlando has much more to offer in terms of food quality, friendliness of the staff and ambience.
actually there are only 2 stars, but the 3rd gets the free valet parking! good restaurants, but this one has some catching up to orlando!

Reliable and good food (though nothing particularly spectacular) in comfortable setting with friendly and knowledgeable service.

Great roomy, American style restaurant. Was looked after by Mark. Service was the best. Had the baby back Ribs which were really good. Was reasonably priced too. Ohh and the onion ring starter is really good, easily enough for 3.

Bad Tony's. Freezing cold and they bring you old chain food. Waiters try their best to keep you there

The coco-cola spare ribs were quiet dry and the extra dipping sauce was missing.

The best Ribs !!! I recommend the Buffalo Ribs. Very good service in the lounge. Great Restaurant US food.

Oh what a place! I had no idea it would be this good wow I would say the staff was great, the steak was really well prepared well aged overall the whole experience was definitely top notch.

The filet medallions are amazing. I ordered them with the peppercorn sauce topping, which was incredible. My girl had the shrimp appetizer and was very happy for it as a meal.

The steak were too fatty and the the muscles weren't opened on the plate.

Server had no idea what an old fashioned was even though it was on the menu. Food was bland and lacked any flavor. First time there and not looking to go back until I hear differently about service and food.

My wife and I had dinner here last night. She had the beef short ribs and I had the 12 oz NY Strip. Both of the dishes were quite good and the restaurant was very nice as well. We used to have these in Maryland, but they are no longer around so this was a nice treat for us.

I do not recommend it, pity, the bartender took 25 minutes to prepare 3 drinks, we ordered takeaway food for 6 people including a girl, the girl complained that her fries were hard and cold and we tried them and they were raw, and what worse was that the husband of my mother-in-law got sick to the stomach with that food, he became tormented, and we almost have to take him to the hospital, horrible place

Love the baby ribs, great food and beautiful ambient.

We were there at 3 pm, my son ordered grilled shrimp, my wife the Salmon, and I ordered the lamb ribs, I have never had such tasteless food.
Salads, and appetizer served with the meal.
Oh I forgot to mention the tasteless frozen mussels. The server asked us how is the meal, the answer was in the plates. Paid $140.00. What is shocking is no-one notice, or I should say they did notice but we are only tourists, and they wait for the next victim. Such a beautiful restaurant from the inside.

Waitress told me they were known for their Ribs and Steaks.

Their Baby Back ribs were likely microwaved. They were pull off the bone and instantly stuck in your teeth. There was nothing meaty about them. Three weeks ago I had some baby back ribs in Dallas TX for 2/3rds the price with 5x the meat and a much better flavor.

I ve not been in Miami long, if this is 4+* then the people of Miami have been getting ripped off.

We had a nice time on My Birthday. Service was good, the food was good.

Okay, the Ribs were not the best, they were missing even temperature

Beautiful place, very good and abundant food, in my case I ordered "The original N. Miami half pound Burguer", delicious as well as the fried potatoes that accompanied it.

The drinks are very good, the lemonade and sodas have free refill.

To finish it has a price I agreed to the service it provides.

Humm delicious meat of lamb a regular and the accompaniment also very good I recommend recomm welcome it goes .A when the French menus ??

Absolutely delicious and good price and even greater service

Service was awesome. I bought the endless soup and salad lunch special for $10. This was a great deal and I walked away happy.

Mimi the hostess was beyond nice, super helpful and courteous. Our server Oscar very attentive and efficient. More importantly catered to our needs quickly. Food was good, coffee a bit expensive but otherwise decent prices. Ask for Oscar, he's the person to ensure good service and say hi to Mimi on your way in. Her smile will dazzle you.

With tip came to $30 for lunch, ordered full rack of ribs and sweet tea. Service was good however the ribs were drowned in sauce and they tasted better microwaved.

Ribs should be higher quality. No grass fed option.

My experience with the food was absolutely awesome. Our server appeared overwhelmed. He got it done, but seemed like he was stressed. My steak was tasty- mashed potatoes perfect.

An American Classic - Lounge, Dining and The Best Baby Back Ribs!

Great place to eat out. One staff member was rude but the kindness of the others and well cooked food made it all worthwhile.

Too bad they are sawing, I had to go to the beach to eat the sweet roasted ribs.

02/28/20 Tonight I have to laugh at the service we received by our server Armoni. She was obviously in over her head. We were a party of 4 seated inside. My wife and I live 10 minutes away and we usually come here every 4 to 6 weeks but my cousin and his wife are here visiting and we always meet them at their favorite rib joint, Tony Roma's. My cousin and his wife drove up from Brickell and traffic was hell so a good drink was needed to calm the nerves. They ordered their drinks and 15 minutes later they arrived. Only problem was the vodka was vanilla flavored which was not what he ordered. He took it to our waitress and said it wasn't what he had ordered. 10 minutes later my cousin went to the bar to get his drink and had the bartender fix the correct mix. We gave the waitress our orders for dinner and enjoyed our cocktails. My cousin' wife ordered a salad which didn't show up until after our meals were served. Sent it back, she wanted it before her main course. My wife ordered soup and shrimp poppers. Her soup came out but the shrimp poppers never arrived. Oh well! So.....we can't really say it was a good night at Tony Roma's. We go there to enjoy a good meal which we expect to be served by pro's. Tonight we were disappointed and hope future visits will be better.

We live a mile from Tony Roma's so we go to dine there fairly often. We have always been happy with the service and food. Unfortunately our last visit wasn't quite up to par. Our server was not very attentive and our guest visiting from out of town let him know it. We also have noticed the food and drink portions have changed a bit, (in season). We know there are times when things can go wrong and we will certainly come back, we were just disappointed in that particular evening.
