Went here to have my replacement radio married up to my cars software, although they got it paired up they couldn't get any sound. To their credit they asked if I had more time I did not and they did not charge me for the hour they spent updating software. Great cust service !

I am updating this review because I would also like to recognize the outstanding service provided by Brent Taylor. Not only does Brent provide excellent work on modern Porsches, he has been willing to work on my older classic Porsche. Brent is always up to challenge of diagnosing any issue.

Over the years I have always received excellent service at Tom Wood Porsche. Last month John Castle and his team were exceptional in assisting with an issue. A day before I was to leave on vacation, I found a bolt lodged in one of my tires. I called John around noon and explained the problem. He was able to get me in that afternoon and install a replacement. Not only was the problem promptly resolved, but he also was able to put me in a loaner so I could make to an afternoon
appointment.

Worked with Lee and George at Tom Wood. They took extra pictures of the car that I was interested in and Lee delivered it to an independent shop for an inspection. Communication was easy and everything checked out, I am enjoying my new (to me) Porsche!

This is one of the best group of men I have ever met at a dealership. They went up and beyond what they had to do for me, they were thoughtful and helpful, and seems to be so friendly and understanding. I cannot say enough about this group of men and this lovely dealership

My Q7 was hit on the front driver side so after filing an insurance claim, I had the car taken in because after fixing the damage, my front driver door's power mirror was not working and when activating my side assist I would receive a 'side assist system fault'. The car was taken to Tom Wood Audi who proceeded to tell me that it would be almost 8 days before getting the vehicle in..For diagnostics? Why couldn't you squeeze the vehicle in between some other jobs? This would literally take a couple minutes to find out what the problem was. So a week goes by and I need to pay for the service and to my surprise, Audi has charge me for two separate diagnostics! One for the mirror ($115) and one for the side assist which apparently is in the rear of the vehicle ($135). I don't know much about the newer vehicles these days, but I'm pretty sure the diagnostics are the same; Plug the V.A. tool into the vehicle's CPU and let it run a scan and it will present you with codes. Am I missing something? I believe that since they are the ONLY servicing Audi dealer in the state of Indiana, they feel like that can charge, say or do whatever they want and handcuff the consumer to these practices since there is no competition. Shame on them.

I was traveling through Indianapolis when I had a flat tire. The customer service and Sales staff were so courteous and tended to all my needs .

This is the second time I have dealt with Tom Wood dealership. They treated me like a life long customer rather than someone passing through.

I am very impressed with their customer service .

The place is insane it's a total rip off I was there for my oil change service just for the labour they charged me $600 for just checking my filter and oil change will definitely not recommend or go back lack of customer service.

Went by to look at the Taycan Turbo S, and it was incredible! That car had so much presence and luxury that I was thoroughly impressed.

The thing that blew me away was the service. One of the service guys (Dakoda) not only told me all the specs of the car, but actually walked me through the maintenance schedule and cost of ownership. What that tells me is that Tom Wood is honest and trustworthy when it comes to their business. I will definitely be back!

I recently purchased a used 2004 BMW as a first vehicle for my son from this location. Even though my sale yielded very little profit for Tom Wood Porsche, I feel that I was treated as if I were just as important as a customer buying one of their beautiful $215k floor models.
I would like to thank them all- from the sales agent to management- for their time and attention. I will definitely be spreading the good word, and Tom Wood Porsche will be the first location I turn to when it comes time to trade in my own vehicle for a new one!

Up front disclaimer: I was having a pre purchase inspection done at Tom Woods via the dealer I was purchasing through, so I was not Tom Woods' direct customer. This situation, in hindsight, was a mistake.

Because I was not their direct customer, it's been a struggle finding out who looked at my (potential) car and having them call me back with some information. But it's not just that. I am a remote buyer 6 hours away. The PPI report itself was lacking editorial detail and was simply a checklist of what was checked and what was not good.

Needless to say, phrases like "tread separation" provide little to no detail at all on what the problem is - is it all 4 tires? Is it riding on the cords? Is the tread straight up separated completely from the sidewall of the tire? Is it driveable but cautioned to replace sooner rather than later?

Further, according to the PPI report, the number of overrevs and operating hours were *not* pulled or recorded. This is typical to do when performing PPI on modern Porsche vehicles. Otherwise, the PPI report had no editorial information at all on "is this a good vehicle" or not. There was only information on what worked and what didn't, no checks on the level of abuse on the car or if the car had signs of rework or being in an accident.

When trying to call to talk to the person who looked at my (potential) car, I was given, intentionally or unintentionally, a runaround:
- I was redirected to different people 3 times, as the first two thought they knew who looked at it, but apparently didn't know for sure.
- Two different individuals never returned my calls despite leaving voicemail.
- One of them listened to my voicemail, had time to write down my phone number, but not time to call back right away despite me describing this as a 5 minute conversation
- One individual said he would have the tech (who supposedly for sure looked at the car) call me within an hour. I never received a return phone call.

Needless to say I am not super pleased about this foreshadowing of Porsche's customer service in the future.

Update December 2018:
Called John Moses, the GM, after his reply here. John was helpful and ensured I spoke to a service advisor to get answers to my questions in the end. Long story short, my fault for allowing the dealer to take charge of the PPI instead of having Tom Wood Porsche report to myself. However, as a potential future customer, I would have appreciated a return call and a statement that information is routed through the dealer and not to any potential buyers as a standard practice for dealer-driven PPIs.

I bought my first Audi from this dealership due to the outstanding customer service that I received and the good value of the car that I purchased. Salesman Steve Malz did an excellent job with my car purchase. I appreciated his follow up and attention to my driving needs. Steve helped clarify several topics for me which eventually led to my purchase of the vehicle. I also had an exceptional customer service experience with General Sales Manager Ed Sholar after the sale. Due to my positive experience with these two professionals, I will likely be a Tom Wood Audi customer for life and recommend the dealership highly.

Recently had Tom Wood do a PPI on a Porsche I was looking at purchasing. Just want to say that Matt Porter did an excellent job answering my questions and had excellent feedback. Dereck did the PPI work and they did a thorough job. Ended up purchasing the vehicle and had a first service done. Excellent communication and attention to detail. The team provided a high level of service and I would highly recommend them.

My experience at Tom Wood Porsche/Audi have been excellent. The service staff is always courteous. The service work has always been completed on time and within estimate. Josh Sides, in sales, is excellent as well. I have purchase 2 cars from him and I always contact him first when I am in the market for another car. I have also referred 3 friends to him for car purchases.

The folks at Tow Wood Porsche couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. My car wouldn't start in my garage and I felt totally helpless. I called them, had it loaded on a tow truck and they were ready for me when I got there. They even took the extra care of keeping my car to be sure the repair was done and the problem wouldn't replicate. I've always had great experiences with the service department. Thank you guys!

I have never been treated with so much kindness and respect at a dealership. I bought a used trade-in from this dealership that probley didnt equal the sales tax on one of their new cars. But these folks treated me like I spent a million dollars. The service here can nit be beat!!!

The staff was polite and friendly from step one, setting up the appointment, all the way through. I received a call to let me know of another issue to look into later when the let me know the vehicle was finished and when I came to pick it up I had other questions they looked up and answered for me. I didn t feel rushed but rather valued as a customer.

As always my experience was superb. On the day my car was to be fixed they were short 2 technicians. Todd called me and, upon hearing that it really would put me in a bind to get my Porsche back tomorrow, he took it back personally and fixed the problem. I was not surprised as that is always the type of service I have received from Tom Wood Porsche. They are always prompt, competent, and truly seemed dedicated to pleasing the customer. I would without hesitation recommend Tom Wood Porsche service to anyone.

New to the area and needed a regular service, plus a few minor repairs. I was concerned as my 911 (993) is Air-Cooled and a lot of new dealerships won't touch them. Jeremy, the service manager, reviewed the situation and extent of the work and was eager to help. I was provided a reasonable quote and I accepted it. The crew treated my vehicle just as I would. I feel that these guys are true enthusiasts, this treating my vehicle as "I" feel it should be treated. The work was completed on time, on budget, without incident. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

One side note, when moving here, my car was delivered to the area BEFORE I arrived. I was directed to Jeremy to see if he could help. He, and his crew, agreed to accept delivery of the vehicle prior to my arrival. No questions asked. This and a complimentary ride on the service above clearly show that this place has it's "stuff" together and knows what it takes to be exemplary Service Dept./Dealership.

Great job guys!!! I will be back...hopefully JUST for a regular service, again soon!

Cheers

Recently bought a used vehicle from Lee Douthitt at Tom Wood Porsche. I was not looking for a car, but had expressed some frustrations to Lee over model designs in my previous car, the one I had been driving. I had bought the previous car only 8 months prior, so I was not even looking to replace it, When Lee offered to drive a vehicle to my home so I could test drive. I thought "what the heck, no harm if he brings it to me." (I would not have made a special trip to the dealership as I was not actively looking. ) He had taken a car in trade that Lee suggested would resolve all my car-complaints with my other newly purchased car . My decision to buy the car surprised everyone, most of all me! I am very happy now, it meets all my needs better that my previous purchase from across the street from them. They accepted my car in trade, made the transaction easy & painless. Never been so excited to drive a car in a very long time!

Rick Stratton of Audi Indianapolis, went above and beyond to find the car I wanted. It required a search of essentially the entire country, as I would only accept a manual transmission, which are becoming increasingly rare. Mr. Stratton provided his personal cell phone number and made himself available seemingly 24/7 to answer any questions I had. I would send a friend to him, which says it all.

Went in for oil change, resolve issue about a water leak inside the car, as well as possibly upgrading my PCM that was experiencing intermittent issues. I was informed that my PCM is now locked up so my radio and hands free no longer work. Picked up car and battery was dead due to PCM stuck in a continuous loop trying to reboot which drained my battery. They jumped my car and I removed the fuse for the PCM once I got home. Now I need a new radio.

This place has changed over a few times. I previously bought a used car here before they changed their sales outlook and inventory. Same great service with a decent used selection. I ultimately didn't purchase from them because they didn't have exactly what I needed, but I was treated with courtesy and respect like any one else.

I m from the southeast and I located a car online at Tom Wood Porsche. I was in search of a specific vehicle and I contacted Lee. We were in touch for a few days and when the car arrived to the dealership in Indianapolis I immediately flew-up to view the vehicle. Lee D. met me at the airport in the car and ultimately after his recommendation, I purchased another vehicle from their dealership. Lee and the team at Tom Wood made my car buying experience pleasurable. Great Customer Service!!!

I just purchased a new A4 from Rick Stratton. He went out of his way to make sure I found the car I was expressly looking for...answering texts after hours and on Sundays as we searched for the right color and options. I would definitely recommend asking for him when you visit as he exemplifies customer service and strives to ensure that you (the customer) get exactly what you want!

In the past I have had some bad experiences with Tom Wood' Service, however I believe the Service Manager did a good job trying to make things right. The service consultants are a little slimy, but if you know that going in you can avoid racking up hundreds more $ in unnecessary work.

My old review for a year ago: After getting my car back last Friday the truth is that Tom Wood has the worst service on the planet. I served two tours in Iraq and thought I have seen it all, Tom Wood has shown me that they are the lowest denominator of what is bad in America. I brought my Audi in a couple of weeks ago to have some warranty work and some little things done. This should be seamless, right? Wrong. I get a call from Tom Wood letting me know what's covered under warranty and what's not. Apparently the warranty company has the option of providing the parts for the repair, so I'm thinking...ok. Tom Wood wants me to authorize that I'll pay an additional $500 to get their 'official' Tom Wood parts. Huh? No, just do the warranty work the way the warranty company wants to do it. So over the next couple of weeks I'm waiting for my car, I get pulled over because Tom Wood's 'courtesy car' has expired plates. I bring the ticket to Tom Woods Audi and ask them to handle it. I'm thinking this is the lowest this can get, right? No, Tom Wood Audi starts to dig. I went to pick up my car today. The price is twice what I authorized and Tom Wood wants to give me a $280.00 check to pay the ticket I got. Really? They did agree to charge me only what I authorized but the ticket is still sitting on my license because I am not going to have a 'driving with expired plates' going against me. They have no problem checking for dents or if I filled the tank but it's my fault they 'overlooked' giving me a car with expired plates. Nice. Then when I get in my car this evening, I find a part of my front grill sitting in the passenger seat of my Audi A4, all my CD's taken, and greasy finger prints all over the inside of my car. I would expect this type of service from Jiffy Lube, but this is a high end car dealer. Tom Wood Audi is the worst. I love Audi's but I'll drive to Chicago before I let them touch my car again. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same.

It was a shakey experience when I first showed up at the dealership. But as time elapsed I became more comfortable with the dealership. The finance manager was great and made me want to change my previous lender to one of Tom Wood lenders. He sold me on the loan and car. I bought the vehicle and is very satisfied with both.

I have now purchased a 2018 GT3 from Tom Wood and the experience was top notch. Lee Douthitt continues to provide first class service and makes the buying experience simple.

I purchased a 9114S cab, Boxster RS60 Spider, GT3 RS and a GT4 from Lee Douthitt at Tom Wood and he has always treated me very well. He and the rest of the Tom Wood Porsche team is very responsive, friendly and will do whatever it takes to make me feel like their most important customer. I would highly recommend Tom Wood PORSCHE.

I was looking for my first Porsche in the Midwest ...

I was looking for my first Porsche in the Midwest and after exploring 4 different Porsche dealerships I ended up buying locally, in Indianapolis, which I m very happy about. I ve heard a lot of good things about Tom Wood Porsche staff and this time around I personally experienced it.

First, big kudos to Lee and Richard - they were both amazing throughout the sales process and took great care of me. I didn t absolutely hate signing Brad s endless papers either, hehe :) Car buying is a stressful thing in general and they made it as easy and enjoyable as possible. Zero pressure. You feel like you re truly a valued customer which many other dealers state but often fail to deliver.

Second, I ve got a great deal both on my trade-in and Porsche I chose to buy. There wasn t anything better in the whole country (ok, maybe one car, but it had a weird color combo). I was expecting great deals only from non-branded dealers, but was pleasantly surprised here.

It has been a few days and I can t enjoy my new car enough. It s amazing all around. I drove an Audi before getting a Porsche and loved it, but this thing is next level. What s more important, Lee and just about anybody from Tom Wood Porsche are very approachable and are still helping me with questions and other requests, even after the sale was closed (which rarely happens with other dealers: typically, after they get your money nobody picks up the phone). To add, Lee is very knowledgeable about Porsche cars and their quirks and is a true ambassador of the brand. These relationship aspects are what makes me want to bring my friends and loved ones to Tom Wood Porsche to buy their next car. Something other car dealers could learn from them.

Lastly, this review was unpaid and I wrote it because I felt like it.
