Had accident & was stranded out of town in Richmond & Zach F & Glenn B @ Camping World immediately found parts & fixed my tow hitch/jack connection on my camper by staying late to ensure that I could get home the same day & under budget. They were both very professional & worked very hard in the extreme heat so I am forever grateful to both of them. They are both a really good example of how ALL employees of Camping World should treat their customers. Now I can continue on with my travels. Thank you both so very much. Others at Service Dept were very nice also......

Not so great service writers or follow up, thanx Matt Green. My first experience here was good. Bill in parts is very helpful. However, if you have a problem they refuse to return your calls from sales, service to management. Thanx Pat Dargie.
After months of shopping for a camper, contacting CWRI to confirm price and availability, having a staff member encourage our business on a 'first come, first serve' basis, drive for hours from out of state to arrive and be declined the sale because they had just accepted a deposit by phone, the experience was very disheartening. I'm sorry they chose to burn us as customers and lose an opportunity, for future referrals, on our behalf to friends, family and colleagues.
Another option was available, and disclosed to us, but it wasn't what we traveled for, was not as good as the original deal and we declined that offer.
Furious with this company right now! My husband and I put down 20% on our RV, yet they claim they 'possibly' didn't get it! The amount is even on all of our signed paperwork. They wouldn't begin anything until we literally had it to put down. How does a corporation of such mishandle such a large amount of money? We are providing everything we can to prove to them yet I'm beside myself we are still in this situation with such a respected company.
We ordered a 2017 Thor challenger 37tb last Fall didn't get it till February took it to Florida had to stop in Ocala Florida camping world to get the front end fixed it was about to fall off It's been in and out of shop multiple times don't buy washer and dryer combo they work for a while then quits. They don't know how to fix them but they sell them. I took it in the shop kept it for two weeks told them the furnace was not working they said it work fine We're down here in Jacksonville Florida and it's NOT working and they won't answer my calls or emails
had answers for everything while looking at camper. got different info from towing business and ended look at camper. took 7 days to get refund back with calls being screened and laughing of staff when routed to finance manager. found staff to be rude and will never deal with this company again as i"ve told family and co-workers. gave deposit in good faith.
We purchased a camper in the recent weeks. And during the purchase we had a salesman that wasn t completely honest with us. We were promised certain things from him that he didn t come through with.
When we brought our camper home we realized we didn t have any rear stabilizer and the grill that attached to the rear of the camper was gone from inside.
I was contacted by Pat and Trent whom had heard about my issues and how very unhappy we were.
Pat scheduled a person to pick up our camper and take it back to camping world. They put new stabilizers on the camper and even found us a new grill and a new mount for the grill.
They both even hooked our truck and camper up with a whole new hitch and stabilizers at discounted cost. Which is one thing our salesman promised us for free but never came through with.
I picked up the camper today and am 100% happy with how camping world fixed our issues and treated our family.
A week ago I would of never gone back to Camping World and would gold everyone to steer clear. Now I would go back in a heart beat....
On a side note that salesman we talked with in the beginning and whom we purchased the camper from. No longer is allowed to work there. I trust Camping World, and you should too....

Whether you are a new or experienced camper and are shopping for a camper, Camping World in Richmond, IN is the place to go. We had a great experience from beginning to end. Our salesman, Matt Elwell showed us several 5th wheels in our price range and answered our questions thoroughly. He was very helpful and honest and made us feel very at ease when looking at campers through the negotiation process. After we made our decision, John Isaacs with Service was our 'tour guide' - taking the time to show us all about our camper inside and out. As we were reviewing the features of the camper, a minor issue with the rear jacks was found and was fixed while we completed paperwork - no questions asked or hesitation to take care of the issue. He was also very well versed in the ins and outs of the camper and gave us several tips to help keep our camper in great condition. Jacob Manious , Service Advisor, was very helpful with covering the Good Sam Membership benefits that were included with our purchase. Jim in Finance was very helpful and guided us through the process with ease - he has been at this location for 30 years and it shows. We were also fortunate to meet the General Manager - Patrick Dargie. He was very thoughtful and took the time to talk to us about our purchase and our experience. Even the gentleman that checked us out with our extra purchases was enjoyable and personable. Overall, it was the best experience I have had purchasing any type of vehicle. It was a smooth, painless and simple process that Camping World has perfected. From the kindness of the staff to the binder we were given to place all of our paperwork, every detail was thought out. I would highly recommend Camping World to anyone who is looking for a camper.
They were quick once the parts got there,pretty happy with everything, the bedroom floor still creaks and I don't think it should, but I can't see daylight coming in so for now I guess we are good

This place is a joke i baught a new travel trailer in sept. Of 2017 they said it was winterized and we go camping in march of this year and guess what frozen hot water heater ,we paid about 3000.00 more for this insurance that is suppose to replace anything that goes wrong well they tell.me that the hot water heater was neglect on my part ,so i had to pay an extra 985. 00 for a new one and we had to go seveal times to try to get the title to put plates on it plus they had my camper for a month just to change the radio in that took only 15 minutes to fix ,my son baught a new one also and they are giving him a run around on a tire and mini blinds ,when you go there to buy a camper they are at your heals but after you buy it they forget who you are and never answer your phone calls you ask to speak to a manager and they are always busy , my advise check somewhere else
I'm not sure where to start. Let's start in March of 2015 when I purchased a travel trailer from Tom Raper in Cincinnati. It's now June of 2016 and I'm dealing with Camping World. In 15 months I've had 3 travel trailers. This past week has turned out really really well for me. Camping World of Richmond IN, Wade Stinson and staff have truly out done themselves. The team at this facility did a phenomenal job to make this rite. I'm anal and very particular about how things get done and how I'm treated as a customer. Wade was our salesperson. Wade did a great job and is very professional. I really wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, but from the first contact with Wade and the staff, I had no doubts that I was getting taken care of. I was reassured multiple times that no matter what, we'd be happy. Wade was rite on point. Rolled out early this morning with a brand new travel trailer. I couldn't be any happier with the service I received. Thank you Wade and the team at Camping World!!!
We purchased our Montana 5th Wheel new in October 2018. We took several small and one long (9 weeks) trip. As we traveled we encountered several items that needed repair (warranty?). We contacted Todd at CW Richmond. Talked over al the items that needed attention. He helped us schedule a convenient time for the service to be done. They went above and beyond. They fixed everything we asked for AND found TWO additional areas that need repair. They requested and received warranty coverage on everything!!! OUTSTANDING !!!
I have been shopping for a camper for a while now, looking at many dealer sites and found them to have the best selection and pricing. Very professional salesman and was able to find me just what I wanted.
Attended the indianapolis RV show on Saturday afternoon (after bank closure) and spoke with Gary about a sale for a open range 371mbh, I originally had just asked for trade-in value on our unit and eventually were pressured into running our credit for the unit. I sent Gary a message the next day, Sunday, to say that we decided we were not interested in buying at this time and to disregard the paperwork/application. He never responded, and I called the office Monday morning to make sure it had been cancelled only to be told that the finance department hadn't heard anything about us not wanting to proceed and now I see that our credit has been pulled. Shady ways from a seemingly shady place. Won't be back, that's for sure!
We had a fantastic experience at Camping World Richmond! The staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We asked the guys in the garage every question we could think of and they were extremely patient and helpful. Jim in the Finance department was great too. He stayed late so that we could close, and then a week later in the mail we received notice that our interest rate had been reduced! YES! Best of all, though, was our salesman, Jordan, who offered to stay late so that we could come and look at the camper after we had spotted it online. Then when we were ready to close, again he stayed late just for us and helped us to avoid a very busy weekend. He went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule, all while being friendly and helpful, and never pushy. All in all, it was a great experience!

All areas were clean, organized, lots of room in Parking Lot and Service Center!! Comfortable waiting area and All their Customer Department was Excellent !! I highly recommend Camping World of Richmond. We traveled to several locations in a 260 mile radius, and they were fair and away the best. Wendi Johnson was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to work with us.Not only did she send us a video within minutes of my request, but she was willing to show us anything we were interested in. She will listen and help you get through the whole buying process.
We went to the Indy Boat and RV show. We found what we wanted, but it was already sold. Talked with Wendi and she told us we should come to Richmond, they had 6 more there. We did so on Monday and had a great experience. Wendi already had two detailed and waiting and we bought the second one. The walk through and finance folks were great too! We drove our new Thor Motor Coach home that evening. Wendi reminded me of our daughter when she told me to "text me when you get home"! Lol So glad we went to Camping World of Richmond! From the sales department to finance and everyone in between, the Richmond Camping World staff clearly understand the importance of good customer service. We purchased a Rockwood camper trailer here and couldn t be happier with our experience.
We bought our very first RV from here and drove 10 hours total to get it and we could not be more happy. Ralph did a video tour of it and helped us every step of the way. I can tell the people who work there are all passionate about there job which I love. Can't wait to take many camping trips with my family in our new RV. It was well worth the drive! Thank you
We went there to check out campers. They had plenty to choose from. The salesman would not budge off of the sticker price. In fact he raised the price. Also talked too much about other customers and what they bought. I would have bought a camper that day but, all he showed us was campers out of our price range. So when you go here make sure you don't let them show you things out of your price range.
I have never had a place where they are so bad on returning phone calls. It is all departments. I couldn t get the sales people or financial people to call me back when buying out pop-up and now the service people will not return phone calls. Shame on you guys for bad customer service.
Barry, our sales rep., is fabulous! He is knowledgeable, patient and funny! He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make up feel welcomed and comfortable making our 1st RV purchase!
First off I sent a bid in on a pop-up camper on Friday evening and was told that a salesman would contact me the next morning. Waited and waited but no one called till 10,30 Saturday morning and the salesman (wade stinson) told me he would call me back in 30 minutes. 2 hours later I called back to them was hung up on even after asking to speak to management. Then was finally told the camper had a pending offer. Nobody had the decency to call me to see if i wanted to up my bid. And manager Randy has not explained where the break down in communication was. Topical issues with salesmen go after the most money. I suggest you all go someplace else.
Zachary Fordon the service advisor was ethical and honest. He stayed true to his word and was a really caring guy. I will ONLY do business with him. Love Zach and if you go anywhere go see him. Trust me!

The people at Camping World in Richmond Indiana are outstanding. There customer service is great. These people are amazly polite. The man whom sold me my trailer came in to work on his day off to get us started on orientation of our camper. Shout out to Ralph McMichael for his outstanding attention to his customers. We had a previous camper from rv nation but Camping world is far above the bar of other places we have been to. I'm a former United States Marine and recommend Camping world to all you jar heads and vets. They treat vets with respect. My wife and love camping so Camping world in Richmond Indiana gets a 5 star from us.

Steve McFarland in Sales and Donnie in service are amazing to work with. Generally not a fan of sales people in general but Steve is making me reconsider my perspective a little. CamperWorld showed some integrity with the way they worked with us as we purchased our new to us 2015 Minnie Winnie 22R. They went above and beyond to make sure the coach was in tip-top shape and replaced some expensive components without us even have to ask They really go through these things pretty well. Sure anything can happen on a used coach (or new for that matter) but I am 100% pleased with out interaction with everyone, especially Steve and Donnie.
Me and my girlfriend worked with Wendi Johnson at the Richmond location and we were tooken aback at how helpful and professional she was! We felt comfortable and safe after she answered all our questions and made us a in-depth video. We are very happy with our purchase and will definetly be back when we upgrade!
I worked with a service advisor named Jacob to get some warranty work completed. The issue came up in July and I had two camping trips planned for August already. As the camper was still useable, we worked out a plan where I could bring the camper in to get the estimate made and submitted for warranty, pick it up, use it for a weekend, then bring it back for the repairs before my other planned trip. The timing of everything worked out and I picked up the completed unit yesterday. When I picked it up he took the time to walk through it with me and make sure the repairs were done to my satisfaction before I left the premises. My past experiences with the service department were far from great. I was pleasantly surprised this experience went this well and I would gladly bring my camper back in for service in the future.
Everything is great till the money changed hands and I'm out the door. 30 days later I still can't get the license plate because someone hasn't completed a transaction. Cost me two trips to license branch pulling that damn number and waiting a half hour just to find out some lady who won't answer her phone or reply to voice mail still hasn't done her damn job. Very frustrated with Richmond Camping World. Wish I had bought this trailer at an establishment with better reviews. Some chain stores are great. This one is showing me they are not.
The entire process from start to finish of buying our first pop up camper couldn t have been easier! with Matt and Justin they explained everything with patience and understanding. Very straightforward and no hidden fees. Great experience. Highly recommended.
