Let me start off by saying that I stayed here for ...

Let me start off by saying that I stayed here for my sisters wedding weekend and our entire booking was over 65 people and I'm definitely not the only one in the group that had issues with the hotel this weekend.

From the moment I walk in they have me fill out a no partying in the room pledge. That includes a fine if broken. And I'm not talking about a kegger in the room, the restrictions for this is so silly it'd make a monastery look like animal house. Yes this is a little bit of an exaggeration, but the joke for the whole weekend was "this is the hotel where fun goes to die"

The issues we had were numerous, from rude management that made us feel unwelcomed, being woken up early cause house keeping "had" to come in to clean, the restaurant hours being horrible and no roomservice in between, and heaven forbid you end up not checking out before noon and being forced to pay a $999.99 fee. Unless you had a suite, that one was only$1999.99.

Hotels are pretty simple when you break it down:
How was it sleeping there?
How smooth and easy was it to book your room and then checking in or out?
How was the staff?
How was the extra stuff, like restaurant, the bar, parking, gathering areas?

They pretty much failed across the board...house keeping knocking twice on your door before 9, really? To the echo effect from noise from the room above, and believe me, all they were doing was walking around.

I was actually one of the lucky people that didn't have issues at check in, but it sounded like I was the minorty.

If you don't count the rudeness and the unwelcomeness from the management or the constant mess ups from the waiters in the restaurant, the rest of the staff was a shining beacon of hope. THEY WERE GREAT!

To be fair, I loved my room, loved the size of the bathroom, and the location is great. But all the small things that matter most they failed on. I left that hotel tired, disappointed, frustrated, and unwelcomed. I will never be back and I will let my friends and family know that they shouldn't ever stay here, but most of them experienced it for themselves already.

In a beautiful area of Los Gatos, the toll house hotel is an elegant place to stay. Rooms are very nice, with exceptional comfy beds. The restaurant and bar located inside is convenient. The staff are friendly and courteous. This is a high end area, with high end prices.

A very acceptable place to stay within walking distance of just about everything in Los Gatos. It's reasonably priced and has an enjoyable restaurant and bar. The rooms are clean, and comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again.

Although well-located with wonderful amenities (wine, water, cookies at check-in), we had a fitful night with some sort of whooshing occurring at periodic intervals from about 3 a.m. until we finally gave up and got up at 7. At check-out, I inquired about the noise, explaining that it had prevented a good night's sleep and was told that perhaps it was the hotel's furnace system - ?? But the clerk (a distinctly unhelpful older blonde - not half as gracious as the younger brunette clerks from our check-in the day before) only said she'd look into it. From a hotel of this caliber, I expected at least an apology, or at most an adjustment to our bill or some consideration for a future visit; unfortunately, neither was forthcoming. Avoid Room 302 and any other rooms in that vicinity!

Second time staying there as it's our company's "go-to" hotel. Quaint hotel with an old school vibe , yet the rooms are well appointed and very clean and comfortable. Staff members are very good and onsite restaurant is very good.

Great location. Nice room. A little dated, but still definitely enjoyed my stay. The staff however sucked. They could use some help in the customer service dept. They weren't very accommodating despite the 20k plus they received from our event.

The location of the hotel is great if you are working or wanting to be in Los Gatos. It's close to lots of restaurants. The hotel is older, but has great character. The bar is a great place to sit and visit at night. My biggest issue with the rooms is the lack of plugins close to the bed to charge my phone. Also, the shower is low pressure, leaking and not high quality.

Came in for a wedding and it was fabulous! The sales manager Kirsten was phenomenal and our stay was perfect. I will definitely recommend the Toll House hotel whenever anyone is looking to stay in Los Gatos.

The best sleeping bed you could have away from home. Delicious food and great service in the Verge restaurant. They need to get rid of the Direct TV because it shuts down 1 to 3 times a day. Service workers are prompt to fix the problem, but it's just so annoying. Cleaning staff does a remarkable job. They need to either clean the arms on the chairs in front of the fireplace in Suite 127, or replace the whole thing. When I pay well over $2000.00 for a room I expect perfection.

Great building, location, and restaurant, absent views and hospitality. I can live without good views considering this is in the beautiful downtown location. But...with the absolutely worst front desk staff I've ever encountered and lack of busboys or concierge, just know you'll get better hospitality at a motel.

Always a pleasant experience.

Always a pleasant experience.
Living in Silicon Valley, my family likes Toll House and Three Degrees in LG for our holiday brunches and special occasions. For the last few years my Grandmother and Mom both demand that we make Mothers Day brunch reservations at Toll House, so I always make them early. Its a great time indeed. When I found out they are having a 3 course Valentines Day dinner this year, I called a baby sitter and booked my table asap. Toll House Hotel and 3 Degrees comes highly recommended from this Silicon Valley native!

Very nice service from staff. Rooms were clean and contained all amenities. Bathrooms pretty; lots of room to share space. Beds were the only real drawback... We thought they felt like cardboard boxes on springs. Overall we would recommend for price, service, location, and general amenities.

The staff is very friendly, approachable and helpful. I stayed in the past and was able to find a bar to watch the Super Bowl in downtown San Jose based upon my stated environment specifications. The rooms are very well maintained. The lobby is beautiful. Food and drinks at the bar/restaurant hold their own.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel. Staff has been excellent. We stayed during the CZU fires, and also are now staying during an extended power outage. The hotel needs to do something about the problematic Direct TV.

We used to love this spot for the super cool rooms and fresh baked cookies. Now they give out Costco cookies in white envelopes and display them as fresh baked. O stars from my son now because of that.
We won t be back since it seems the cheerful room, cleanliness and authentic cookie days are over.
It s a fair hotel in a great location if you want to be off the 17 and in down town for walking to dinner etc.

No free gift which their own website and online reviews bragged about. Worst nights sleep ever! The beds are horribly uncomfortable. I slept better camping on an air mattress! Restaurant, bar, outside, pool, breakfast all shut down and closed. Noisy floor with pets. Nobody explained how to exit the property until I was stuck waiting and had to call the front desk. Sliding door on bathroom was odd and not very private. No discount after I complained politely. Will never be back. Lots of rich affluent people around with super cars which is great but not worth the price at half of what we paid. Very disappointed.

This review is for Verve restaurant in the Toll House Hotel. Service was great - friendly, attentive servers, glasses always filled. Brussel sprouts and deviled egg salad was well seasoned. The duck burger with mac and cheese "bun" with egg sounds horrible but it's ok comfort food. The highlight was the free popovers.

Overall very nice hotel and in a convenient location with lots of shop and restaurants around. Staff at front desk are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms however have old plugs and TVs, and no plug/USB charging station by the bed.

High quality ingredients in food produces smaller portion size compared to the less expensive breakfast joints in the area (as expected). Flavors were good but not exceptional. Staff we encountered were very friendly. More outside seating would have been appreciated.

The front desk staff need to be re-trained en masse. The check-in process was horribly slow. They did not put my husband on our room reservation even after being asked, so he was locked out of our room for a good portion of the day (I was away at a wedding rehearsal) after his key card became demagnetized.

The beds are rock hard, and there are hardly any outlets in the rooms. I get that it's an old hotel, but at least provide extension cords with multiple outlets for each side of the bed.

The hotel itself is fine. Parts seem in disrepair. The beams around the courtyard seem like they're about to crumble at any second.

Was okay but wouldn't stay again. Nothing special at all.

Insane to not offer coffee in the morning before 8am when the cafe opened reason enough for low rating (this was Sunday)....gave $10 card for cafe credit, when I lost it and asked can you just give another one, they said no!!

Are U serious?

Check in touches are nice including goodie bag, hotel style is off, looks like airport generic hotel decor wise which is a shame for Los Gatos. Will definitely not stay again.

I've got mixed feelings about this hotel. Check-in...

I've got mixed feelings about this hotel. Check-in was easy for me, a colleague waited over an hour to check-in only to get told his room wasn't ready, he wasn't pleased. I've only ever seen 1-2 people max at the front desk, so I can imagine if you get behind a massive group of people you might be there for awhile.

I stayed for 3 nights, Sunday-Tues night. The room was okay, the door doesn't quite seal all the way along the floor, the entrance to my room and my neighbors room was in a separate room (sorry if that's confusing). Essentially, since they were so close it was incredibly loud, and I could hear them talking whenever they were around.

The hotel seemed like it used to be nice, they've updated a lot of things and have failed to update a lot at the same time. The insulation in the room was terrible, it loses heat fast and warms up fast (depending on the outside temperature). You can hear the wind easily from the outside and feel it when you put your hand close to the window.

I found a huge spider in my shower, that was disgusting. The faucet in the bathroom sprayed water a few different ways when it was turned on, so I didn't have it on full force to avoid the counter getting wet. I saw some things (like thermostats in the hallway) that looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s... or 80s. You have to have a card to get out of the garage (which I was not made aware of) so I was attempting to exit on the last day (had already checked out), and the main gate was closed so I had to use the exit through the garage. I had to physically park, go back up to the lobby, wait in line to ask for a temporary card to get my vehicle out of the garage. Ridiculous.

The service was friendly but the hotel just seems kind of archaic and logistically, not super well thought out. I would not stay here again unless I was forced to, I had training next door and it seems there weren't a lot of options in the LG area.
