Toll House Hotel Review

Beautiful location, very friendly service & the suite was fantastic. Drinks at the bar are also very good.

Great location in the cute town of Los Gatos, the hotel was very accommodating and clean.

We ate at the Verge. Food was great, albeit a bit pricey.

Great location, friendly staff, and nice rooms. The hotel is in a perfect location in downtown los gatos. The lobby and restaurant were recently updated and looked great. The bar was awesome with live music and interesting drinks. Everything in the room was good, but for those who are light sleepers you might hear some road noise from the nearby highway. Also, the balcony and exterior (above the first floor) showed it's age, and is in need of a remodel. In terms of value it was a great stay.

Great medium sized hotel, has a respectable kitchen and bar, opened late. The rooms were very quiet, and faced the hill side. Great place.

Great hotel with a great location. I have 1 problem. There are no more than 8 cars in this entire parking lot yet I have people staying in the room on either side of me. They had a whole hotel to put people in and they put us all in the far corner of the hotel where I could hear people all the time. Seems that they could have spread us out a bit

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean and well presented. My kids a great time and loved the room too. The first floor has a cool open area that you can use as a way to keep your kids busy. The hotel is not huge, allowing it to be more intimate and not overwhelming as most good size hotels. I recommend it.

Great rooms for business meetings. Excellent food at lunch.

Room 132 is NOT a peaceful room. It's right by the front door. Every. single. time. the door opens and closes, you hear it. The parties are nearby so you hear all the loud guests. You hear barking dogs from other rooms. We slept 5 hours and then heard a vacuum cleaner in the hall at 4 or 5 am. There is no noise cancelling wall material used! Cars and motorcycles driving by can be heard.

Nice rooms but the heating is horrible, the television was tiny, and the breakfast was really bad. Eggs were dry, bacon was cold, and the coffee also disappointed.

As part of our wedding dinner party plan, we stayed in the hotel the night of our event; the suit we were offered was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Was great to enjoy a restful stay after our event. We and a group of our guests enjoyed breakfast at the Verge restaurant the next morning, and - like the dinner we had the night before - was great! Happy to say the dishes were all well prepared, and far more creative than one would find a typical chain hotel restaurant.

This visit goes back many months ago, but I neglected to write a review at the time. Location-wise, this is in a great spot with a lot to walk to. However, my room was very dated and drab. The carpet was puckering and pulling up off the floor. This would be tolerable -- sometimes it's the luck of the draw -- but the front desk person who checked me out in the morning was rude and totally dismissive. She could not have been less interested in being at work that day. There isn't a wealth of hotel options in Los Gatos, but I'll definitely do my best to stay anywhere else whenever I'm up there for work.

This survey is premature, I have not completed my stay. So far things are going well.

I stayed at Toll House in August 2016. My stay was miserable. The hotel booked a wedding reception which went on in the courtyard until 11:00pm. Due to placement of rooms which open up around the courtyard, sound travels up. It was unbearable. I found another hotel the very next morning.

The hotel has limited parking in the front but there's a big parking lot in the back

Always love staying here. Free cookies available at check in, nice rooms and common areas.

Great location for downtown Los Gatos; comfortable beds for good night sleep. Good base to explore from
