I received a phone call from Universal Energy (Telemarketing Company). My phone is listed on the "do not call list." Universal Energy was booking appointments for Titan Solar Power. This was a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. I reached out to Titan Solar Power who first told me that Universal Energy was a new contractor/client. I was later told that they do not do business with this company. Violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act are protected under Federal Law. I just want Titan Solar Power to make this right. We will see.

Hector and Team 31 did an Amazing job they were neat and tidy while installing the solar, Hector answered all my husband's questions and really put us at ease. This company has delivered everything they have promised.
Team 31 is a very professorial group of people when they finished it was like they were never here. If you have any doubts about Solar then call this company you won't be sorry.
I wish I could rate Titan Solar Power better but I can't do that. They have been very professional every time they have come out to our house. The install crew was fast finishing the 20 panels, battery backup and the inverter in 2 days but since then I haven't had a good experience. There was a miscommunication resulting in no one showing up for the initial inspection of the system for commission which put us back about 2 weeks longer than expected.The day before the commission appointment someone had to come out to install something that should have been installed on the initial installation but for whatever reason didn't. Now the appointment came up for the commission, it took way longer than I was told (about 45 min- 1 hour turned into 3+ hours). Ok, system approved, commissioned and turned on. At first everything seemed great but then we notice that on the app there was no power going to the grid and our battery was dropping a few percentage points every day but never going back up. So another appointment was made and 2 people came out again to reset parameters and find out what was going on. At the end of the appointment they were able to show me power to and from the grid and into the house but nothing to or from the battery and they said it should populate on the app the following day but that hasn't happened yet and its been about a week. My battery is now at 55% and dropping slowly which leads me to believe that its not even doing anything but hanging out in the closet. I started off writing this review with 3 stars but as I wrote about everything that's happened I have become more and more frustrated and lowered my review to 1 star. I know there are more people who write bad reviews than people whop write good ones and i didn't plan on writing a review on Titan Solar Power till after a few months of trying out the system and seeing what it did to my bill but due to all the above mentioned events and the frustration we have been through with our system I couldn't hold back anymore. I hope this review helps the company make some changes to make the process a little easier for the end user.
Things that could be done if they aren't already: (Suggestions)
Put the CTs in the drawing so that systems don't fail due to them being installed but not on the drawing.
Ask your installers what they think can be done to make everything a little smoother so you aren't wasting money on fuel sending them out to houses multiple times.
find a way to have the solar edge app update more often than every 4 hours even if it is only every hour that's still a lot better than getting maybe 3 useful updates a day.
Ensure that the installers have every piece that's needed for the system before sending them out so the customer doesn't have to miss hours of work and pay to be at the house when it could have been taken before hand.
Update 29 AUG 2019:
I have had my solar for about 3 months and my electric bill is almost double what I was paying before. The Battery issue was fixed and i have tried to adjust the system recently to shut off my AC like i was told the system was supposed to do from what I was told by the Nergy Solar Salesman. My last bill was $211 plus the additional almost $200 for solar makes my "electric" bill over $400. This isn't saving me money at all I would have been better off not getting solar at all which sucks to say because I built a solar generator that I run my shed off of. I don't know if there is something that I missed in the explanation of how to adjust my system but I haven't seen a difference in the bill that tells me anything I did was for a positive reason. Before solar I was paying less than $150 for electric. Still not happy with my system and so far I regret getting it.

I was very pleased with the professional dimenor and attitude of the Titan workers. They answered questions and walked me thru the system and how it works. My only negative comment is about my roof. I was told that the new roof they put on to place the panels would not show after the solar panels were in place, however, there is a large four foot section that shows and is an eyesore. Justin indicated that the roofing company could re-install some of the tiles that were removed (which I saved in case I needed them for any reason). I hope the former tiles can be put back on the unsightly section.
Other than the roof surprise I am pleased with the work done.

Titan Solar Power recently installed 36 solar panels on our metal roof. The entire team was very polite and courteous. They were in and out in one day, cleaned up after themselves, and even asked and used paint to blend the new equipment with the house. They also came back to ensure everything was in good shape for the county inspection. We are still pending the final visit from TEP, but are very happy with the work from Titan.
Go solar they say, you well save big! Nope the process to get them install and working took more then 6months. And once they were working de paid 400$ wheres the savings? Noones home during the day. To cancel I would have to pay full price. I give it a -5

Titan Solar installed my solar system a little over a year ago and out of that time my system has been shutting down and blowing fuses in the inverter for approx. 6 months. For approx. three weeks they just kept replacing the fuse until I had to tell them that was madness. They have completely missed appointments with no phone call, and been hours late on other occasions. They are extremely incompetent and have no idea how to fix my solar system. I sooo wish to be done with them. If I could give them zero stars I would. I want this whole system off my house, but unfortunately once you sign the contract you have almost no rights to have the system removed. Use this company at your own peril.

After working in the Solar/Home Energy Efficiency "Arena" for the last 25 years, I have never worked with a Company like Titan Solar Power! They truly care about their clients in every way! They are not PERFECT, nor is any company made up of "Human Beings". If a mistake is made, it is rectified quickly. I have worked with Titan for 6 years, they are my install partner & have installed hundreds of job's for my clients & I have NEVER had a problem! I had a 6.5 KW system installed in 2013 & decided to add another 9.36KW as we heat our pool to 90 with a heat pump & drive a Tesla we charge at home mainly. I have 0 Complaints, the install went great, crew was professional, polite, and did a great job cleaning up!

Edit: Titan Solar customer support called me and helped me resolve the issue the same day. Titan Solar was not at fault, Spark Solar sales team were the ones that failed to provide me with basic customer support. But Titan Solar helped get access to see what my system was producing. Now I am happy with my solar system.
My system was installed at the beginning of November which only took a couple of hours. Then I had to wait for inspection which it failed, they came out to fix the issue. (Undersized wire) Then it passed the second inspection and then we were waiting for the final inspection by SRP. Which it passed and my system was finally put into service on Jan 9th. The only problem is I don't know what I'm generating and what my usage is. I was told my username and password for Solaredge was emailed on Dec 20th but I have yet to receive anything in my email regarding my password. I have contacted my sales rep (Rex) and the rep that sold my friend his system (Dustin) multiple times and they have not resolved the issue yet. Now they don't even reply to my messages. I am very displeased, there is a huge lack of communication and customer support. As soon as you sign the contract they give you very little attention or service. My system has been in service for a month and I have no idea what I'm generating. Do yourself and go with a different company like Sun Power. We almost cancelled our contract and went with them which now I wish I would of done.
Great group of gentlemen came out knocked on the door explained to me what work they were accomplish in regards to the solar installation. Then proceeded to work hard getting the job done. They then showed me everything I needed to know after the job was complete in detail. It was A+ great customer service, very satisfied and pleased with my interaction with this company.
Titan Solar Power fully evaluated my solar needs and potential. They have all the experience and dedication to find appropriate solar solutions, install the system and maintain the system, even though their solar systems are virtually maintenance free. I have one neighbor who had a similar professional experience with Titan. Finding and getting a solar system operating in the Valley can be very complex, but Titan takes care of all the needs to make quality systems affordable, installed and operating producing electricity. After a year of great savings we are very thankful to Titan.
Our switch to solar could not have been more efficient, from the sales reps who visited our home, the installers, to the frequent updates on the progress being made. Suddenly one day it was complete. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Mike and Connor decided to stop by our house today and ring our doorbell despite the no soliciting sign right next to it. After answering the door and hearing the pitch about solar they were politely told I m good thanks and we closed the door. Instead of walking away they decided to be rude and say that it was hilarious and we didn t know what we were talking about, that we were going solar and that we made an appointment. (We didn t and we aren t). And to double down with their rudeness they then decided to be sexist and talk about how she s clearly not the decision maker since she s at home during the day. Almost like these two mask less wonders don t know that there is a pandemic and almost everyone works from home.
So I guess the two takeaways are if this is how the sales people treat customers I can t imagine how bad the rest of the service is and ring security systems are awesome.

I wish there was a zero-star to give this company. I was installed in the end of March, I have had 3 technicians try and repair my issue that I've been having. the first technician didn't spend much time and said there was an issue with a connection. The second technician was the best one because he spent about 3 hours fixing it. It was fixed but only worked for two and a half days. after that it went back down again and did not produce any solar until today that another set of technicians came out to fix. Their customer service is not worth anything, I've called multiple times and all I got was false hopes. I have been paying both the loan and the power company since we have been installed and it doesn't seem as if we're going to be compensated for what has happened.I do not want to repeat the names of the individuals that failed to help the situation, but I hope that they will. if anyone does decide to do solar make sure that they ask all the questions especially if you're new at solar. I was never told how much kilowattage I was supposed to produce, which was the beginning of my problems. had I been told how much I was supposed to produce daily I would have caught the issue by the third day. It wasn't until I received the bill from APS that I realized that there was something wrong. in the first conversation I felt as if I was at fault for not knowing what my system was supposed to be producing. I was also told that because I am purchasing this solar panels that it's my responsibility to continuing paying. I don't believe that that is a fair shake on this whole situation. I think if they want them to grow as a company they should take care of their customers, who will continue to market them. I hope that after this technician fix this issue that my outcome will be better moving forward.
I wasn't able to be a home when they installed the solar panels on my house. They were done with the installation before I got home. When I got home I took the time to inspect their work. I must say they did a wonderful job of installing the solar panels. Very professional installation from the placement of the panels to the installation of the conduct. I highly recommend Titan Solar Power.

We had a great experience with Sonny Rock. He was very helpful through the entire process and answered all texts or emails very quickly. It was a smooth process. We just turned on our system yesterday (so we cannot review the longevity or speak to the system!) but the process was wonderful!
Had my solar panels turned on in April. Noticed right away that the power produced wasn t making its way to to the grid somehow and the panels were not performing as was to be expected. I contacted customer service and my sales rep, nothing was done. I ve been calling into customer service now at least twice a month asking them to have a tech come out to look at them. For the first month I got the run around of there s no notes in the system, we will write it down and someone will be in contact within 48 hours. No one EVER contacted me, any time I called in. I always waited at least a week before I called back in, most of the time for the same thing to happen. This went on for all of May and June. Then in July, they told me your solaredge monitoring was looked at and is producing. Yet no one can tell me why my solaredge monitoring says the system is producing a number much higher than nv energy is actually receiving. No tech was sent to see what is going on. No one will even try to help me understand the problem here. And no one even contacted me to let me know they looked at it at all, after 3 months of me calling in.
Now I just received my July bill. It is exactly $12 less than my bill last year. TWELVE DOLLARS! It costs me more to have solar than to not have it at all. I m extremely dissatisfied with my product, customer service and the entire experience. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company.

Do your research before contacting this company especially if you reside in South Texas. Absolute nightmare getting these panels installed, started the installation August 2019, and it finally got finalized mid February. Absolutely insane!!! This was supposed to be a 4 week project. A person fell through ceiling landing in the middle of my living room, disconnected my surveillance camera system in the process. When they were working on the electrical box, the people working didnt have the proper equipment and broke cabinets along the way. They didnt have the proper permit to work, the city refused to reconnect electricity, that left us without power for 3 days, we had to stay at a hotel for 3 days and cover the extra expenses of meals for those days, this was happening during the last week of December, definitely a time where you want to be home and not at a hotel. When the supervisor was contacted to report all of this, he was not aware of anything. Communication Is definitely not one of their strong points. Mr Brunson was made aware and said he was going to reimburse all of those expenses, even though all receipts have been forwarded to them, as of today Feb 29, we are still waiting to be fully reimbursed. This was a mess from the beginning. If you are planning on installing panels, do your research, dont go with the first option.

First it took over 80 days for them to get the install done, the install wasn't done correctly and looks terrible. (exposed conduit across the roof/crooked panels) inspection still isn't done and the communication has been absolutely horrible..
I don't know what else to say, except that I'm very disappointed........

I do not know why anybody would use any company other than Titan for any of their solar needs! Everyone there did such an outstanding job ! James Wadsworth really knew his stuff, and I must admit I m probably one of the most neurotic customers he had. But he really went through all the details and made sure that I felt comfortable !
Guys at this point yalls should just file consumer complaints with BBB. We were sold panels through a third party vendor (Solar Power Enegry Inc.) that are completely useless. Telling us that with 26 panels we'd see our bill at $20, which was false. Then they show us contracts that we don't acknowledge signing. The only thing we signed with our knowledge was a contract to the BANK and paper that requested our permission to let titan solar power and srp onto our house. Not only this but we were supposed to get a $7000 reimbursement and never got it. Yalls salespeople and company are nothing but a scam.

Titan Solar Power installed 14 panels on my roof. They were here on time and promptly finished the project in 4 hours. The panels look great and so far they are working properly.

Signed up through a Third Party Sales Rep Keenen Knowles (Titan claims he was supposed to be coordinating installation appointments, etc. but who knows at this point) and was made aware that Titan Solar would be the installer and Sunrun would be the equipment.
Signed up in June. Panels installed in October after being told they would be installed in 6-8 weeks. Meters were installed in my backyard and APS just inspected today and said meters should always be in the front yard or accessible area. Yet City of Phoenix approved it as well so both are at fault there.
They will not call ahead to confirm appointments or tell you when they're coming. Had the doorbell ring at 6am on a Monday and sure enough it was these guys.
I was proactive with trying to schedule installations and inspections and it never helped.
I'm in Sales and there's zero customer service and accountability here. My deadline to be in full operation is December 31st to get the 3/1 credit with APS and hopefully it's completed by then but probably won't be.
If you have other options then go with them. APS Inspector said Solar City is the way to go because it's not amateur hour on the installation side.

The company is working on my complaints. I will update this review accordingly. WewWe promised the moon, and we feel completely ripped off. The system still isn't running, and I now have an electric bill and a huge payment to make to them. Read the fine print. We are considering a lawsuit.

Great experience and install. Crew that came out was both personal and professional. They also met/exceeded all of the HOA requirements for going solar including painting all of the exterior equipment to match the home. My wife also noticed that they leveled all of the boxes to match our existing electrical box which when compared to my neighbor looks very clean (see other pic)!
Also left a door tag so we would know what the next steps are. SRP bill was $460 last month... pretty excited that I'm not stuck with them 100%!

The trenchers came to our house to prepare for the electrical hook-up, and discovered a bee hive. Andrea or Titan Solar offered to help with bee relocation costs as long as we didn t kill off the needed bee colony! Excellent customer service/Earth care service!

I had Titan Solar install 46 solar panels and a SolarEdge inverter equipped with monitoring. I can view my daily / monthly / yearly production and compare to my APS metered usage. My experience with Titan Solar was great. The installation crew and office support was excellent. The only issue, in my opinion, was that APS couldn't keep up with the customer demand. The project was delayed slightly, but it wasn't Titan Solar's fault. I would recommend this company for anyone looking to have solar installed.

Do NOT USE TITAN!!!! I had panels put on my roof by Titan Solar. Everything was installed quickly, maybe a little to quickly. After the panels were on the roof we had a hard rain storm and I had a leak under the panels causing water stains on my ceiling of my new home (only a few months old). I called Titan Solar and they came out stating that they had tore the paper and they fixed it. That was 2016. My roof has slowly been leaking since then but not enough to leak down through the drywall on my ceiling. A few stains appeared but i figured it was from the prior stains and I painted over them. After the last few heavy rains this year my roof is again leaking in the same spot that it was from when I called them the first time. I again called them out and Titan solar responded and removed panels. As they were making a phone call from my roof I heard him tell his supervisor that there were a lot of broken roof tiles under the solar panels and that they would need to bring at least 25 tiles out to replace them. The employee then told me about this which I appreciated and he also told me that whoever did the work prior, to fix the last repair, pretty much caused a dam and he is not surprised that it is still leaking. Approximately a week later Titan solar comes out and starts to replace the tiles but no where near the amount that I was told were broken. The workers threw the tiles off my roof, 2 story, onto the ground below. Tiles were going into my tree and breaking branches off and also going into my neighbors yard. The workers left taking the bigger pieces and leaving me to clean up the rest. Thank you. A little while later we get another rain storm and again my roof leaks again but worse this time. This time water runs down my wall and into my carpet, there is now multiple stains in my ceiling (which is now starting to sag), the roof wood under the tiles is starting to bow and probably rot, and my desk is ruined. I called Titan Solar and wanted to speak with a supervisor which I guess there wasn't one available so I spoke with the employee on the phone. No one called me back and another storm and more water damage. I called again asking them to call me before they come out so I can be home and they told me they made notes to call me and give me a time. Well they arrive without calling me and I was not home due to the fact that I have a Job and they left. I have called them and asked for a supervisor, owner or anyone above an employee to call me but am still waiting and wouldn't you know it there is more rain coming. Hope my ceiling doesn't cave in due to this (it is in my kids loft) and hurt someone. Do not use this Company! Horrible customer service and apparently no Supervisors. Do Not use them. I can not express this enough! The savings is not worth the damage to your home.
