Busy lunch place with tons of different restaurants with everything possible.
Bit hard to find a seat and not recommended for people who wanna eat in a quiet environment.

Super nice venue, good food choices, worth going! but not that many vegan options.
A modern version of a food court. A lot of restaurants to choose from whether you are there to eat or just simply have a beer.
The trick is to get a table first and have one of the people your with hold onto the place. The rest can get whatever food they feel like eating and navigate back to the table otherwise you will have a tray of food as you look for a place to sit.
The place is pretty crowded and we were there for lunch.
Fancy market stalls, next to the old market, selling fancy versions of Portuguese classics (prego / steak sandwich)
Excellent place to eat & drink. I think the Pastries here are better than Belem....
This is a great concept and deserves 5 stars for it. Vibrant, happening food court with a wide range of options to sample exceptional food. This is a must visit when in Lisbon.
It s popularity is also the downfall, and the reason to dock a couple of stars. It was almost impossible to find a table during lunch on a weekday here. Each potentially upcoming table is watched with hawk eyes by other patrons waiting for a table. There are peopel circling around looking for tables. It s a stressful experience trying to find a place to sit. And then, after all that, once you finally find a place, then the amazing food experience can start!
Best tuna burger at seame. Great concept and a lot of variety. A must go in Lissabon
It was my first experience at a TimeOut Market. It was a Thursday night and the market was packed with locals and tourists. Food we selected from a few stands was good but the lineups were chaotic and close to endless. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my first experience here.
Stumbled across this gem wandering the streets of Lisbon. What an amazing place!
Really good place for a family hangout, date night. Plenty of food choices to try out. Heart of Lisboa's food culture and pocket friendly. Come if you want to have a time of your life.
You can find a lot of different food in only 1 place. It's a little bit expansive to be in Lisbon.
best food court in Lisbon, excellent for a group of people with different wishes. but it does come at a price. everything here is a more expensive version of their other branches with nothing new, except for great location together with a lot of other great quality food, on such a touristic scenario. be aware there are better and much cheaper ice creams (davvero), hamburgers (cultura), local food (corno, eurico), pizza (mad) and even a market (pingo doce) in a 2km radius, far away from each other, often with bigger queries and not so well located, except for the market which is literally across the street. for better pastries and quick bites you'd have to go farther. do try the small and delicious vegetarian meat loaf (croqueteria) hidden in the North East corner!
Such a cool place for big groups, all kinds of food, beer, drinks, coffee, smoothies... great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
This is a very pleasant foodie destination, because it is fun, friendly, casual, and there is such a wide variety of high quality food options. We walked here after first arriving in Lisbon and found perfect snacks to tide us over until mealtime. But it would be easy to have a good, casual meal here too.
Big promises, lots of ambition, but maybe victim of its own success. The place itself and the concept are very good but it's just too small for the amount of people that it attracts. It's a shame because we had a good time and food options are very diverse, perfect for groups of you want to have different type of food. It's just a nightmare to find a space to seat. Hence the 4 stars ;p
A spacious food court with variety of styles of foods. If you are tired of looking for famous local foods and deserts, you can simply visit here. They have everything you are looking for.
Totally overrated: seems interesting but on a saturday afternoon it was overcrowded. Food is rather on the expensive side
This was such a memorable experience that we came back two more times! This idea of having a world class food court is genius. Where else will you have the opportunity to taste michelin star chef food at a relatively affordable prices? Mind you, because we are from Canada, the prices are normal to us, but they are quite out of range for the average Portuguese. So this market is tailored for us western tourists. We absolutely loved it.
Huge variety of Portuguese and world foods. Definitely worth a lunchtime visit the next time you are in Lisbon
Fabulous food. Everyone should try if visiting Lisbon!
Bit lame and touristy. Very overpriced and not many vego options
Great place to get great quality good value food, made from local produce. Don't expect to get a seat easily from Fri-Sun
So much food! Loads of great cuisine choices and drink choices. A great place to go and try some of Lisbons best food under one roof. A definite place to visit.
Super ambience and good food, a tad bit more expensive but well worth a visit.
It's soooooooooooooo cool. Tasty seafood. Not too pricey. Great place to relax for an hour
Incredible food. People say it's pricy but for what it is, I think it's well worth the money
Wondeful place to visit when in Lisbon, the food court is amazing, top restaurants and chefs from all around the city have an outlet there for visitors to taste their dishes in the center hall. Good place to try different drinks and wine.
Amazing place, can't go wrong with the choices. Some of the dishes I tried here were not that good but it's hard to know when and where you'll have that occur. On the bright side you can see the food coming out for precious orders and it helps you decide. Food is slightly more expensive and drinks as well, so I would really only go here for light meals. For example, a traditional Portuguese seafood dish plus drink will be about 15-20 euro. Meanwhile, down the street you can get a shawarma and beer for 3.50 so it's worth a visit or two but not consistently or you'll miss out on some gems
Great place to go if you want something to eat, though if you want to catch the market then you need to be there early
Wonderful place with many small but very good restaurants. There is a possibility of trying a portugese dishes. Sometimes there may be a noisy but friendly atmosphere.
It is always good to have options and this place really offers them. There is a huge variety of venues that have traditional food (pizza, sushi, pastries, etc) to venues that offer local cuisine with an interesting but delicious twist.
If you like access variety of food and drinks all in one location, this is the place to come. The quality is generally good. Portions for what you pay vary depending on where you go. The wine bar there has high prices by at least triple of what you'd pay in most cases The prices are touristy high prices.
High quality food choices, slightly touristy but definitely worth it
Super cool place with lots of food options. Wasn t blown away by any specific food but did enjoy the selection.
If you are into finding an authentic experience, paying more or less local prices, this place isn't for you. Throngs of tourists ordering overpriced food and drink, walking five minutes away in just about any direction and you can find a much higher price/quality ratio.
Great food, but very crowdy - not enough sitting places.
Interesting place to see. Very busy (too busy) during lunch
Busy! Go in the afternoon. We ate here multiple times and my favorite was Sao Bento as I had read about their steak sandwich. Delicious meal all around and if you re lucky, you can sit at a counter. The place is a zoo- so it s very busy and prices do tend to be much higher due to the tourist appeal.
But def a good experience. We enjoyed ourselves. Easy to get to and Metro station is across the street.
Awesome market in Lisbon... A lots of restaurants, fish and vegetables markets also.
I love this palace and I love to work in this Palace... #Asian_Lab by sushicafe... #Asian_food fire
Super busy so it can be hard to find a table or place to perch, especially in a large group. However once you find a spot, the food is delicious and well worth the wait!
A must see when you're in Lisbon. Very special food. You can also find good wine, cocktails, pastries. Prices are relatively high but adequate. Hard to find a seat during lunchtime.
I love the concept and citation and want to give it 5 stars but the difficulty in finding a seat frustrated me a lot, especially as a solo traveler who doesn t have the luxury of having friends to reserve a spot for me. Families and groups would just dominate spots and not leave or trays would pile up as the staff try hectically to clean up. It s quite a logistical disaster in that aspect.
Horrible to find seating, food is generally overpriced for quality and really noisy. Having to fight for a place to seat two people makes the experience awful.
Lots of food to choose and prices althought are not cheap are affordable for a medium class worker. Nice atmosphere around.
Good place to hang around All nice places to look around. Central place. Amazing food court Good crowd
Oh my God! Totally a must-visit, must-taste market in Lisboa! Go there after 11.30 and take your pick from various food stands or just go for your morning coffee and enjoy it with the most popular pastry in the world - pastilla de Nato
Lots of food, drinks, dessert options for everyone. Obviously a touristy place, but I did interact with some locals here too. Came here twice during my 4 day stay in lisbon! Love it.
Very nasty guards making comments on taking off the face mask, and then going after you and looking at you all the time. Nothing special about the food. I have an avo crab salad-micro size. Would not recommend. You should choose some nice and cozy spot on the way to the hills.
Great selection of chefs in a food hall concept.. get there early of away from main eating times to get a seat
Time Out Market is always a good option in those days that you can't decide what type of restaurant you're up to. Here you have a lot of options to choose so it's easier to make women happy. It's usually a bit crowded but it's safe option.
Different foods, many traditional dishes in a single place at reasonable rates
A must-see in Lisbon. The only disadvantage is that you can't eat all of that. Everything we tried there was just delicious
Best to go outside of meal times as it gets very busy
Trendy market place with excellent food stands. Nice atmosphere for a afternoon lunch.
There are tons of different dishes to try and it's a great place to eat with friends (everyone can pick what they like to eat). I find it especially convenient for a quick and healthy lunch. However, having tried many of the great restaurants in Lisbon, the food quality and price at Time Out just isn't all that great. And it is very crowded with tourists during meal times.
A very worthwhile experience ! If like me you come from a rather sheltered background, going to a big city (well, not really in the case of Lisbon) is a very gratifying experience. This place proves my point right down to a "t" - imagine a warehouse size market with a seemingly infinite number of food stores. Almost something for everyone. I say almost because as a vegan I was struggling to find something eatable... There are no dedicated places, so you have to make do with the usual stuff - apart from a vegan burger which I didn't get to try because the queues are almost endless. That is the one thing in Lisbon - standing in line seems to be a past-time for tourists..you want to visit a famous monument ? stand in line. You want to eat vegan food ? stand in line. You want to go onto the E 28 tram ? stand in line . etc. - Look for my other review of a very DECENT vegan restaurant..as long as you reserve , no standing in line whatsoever ;-)
Great environment with a variety of food-shops and restaurants, suitable for every taste. The offer includes traditional portuguese food, tartar, italian, asian, sea food, drinks, desserts, and more. Besides eating, you can also find some artisanal shops.
It implies "self-service", so finding a seat after picking your plate on the counter might be difficult due to the large number of people attracted to this iconic spot. Since it's a famous attraction, eating here can be a bit more expensive.
Great place for different choices of food, gelato and pastel. FYI. Some shops will stop serving food 1hour before closing time.
A big variety of food stands, the food I tried was absolutely delicious and well priced.
Very crowded and hard to get seats, food very nice, if a little expensive
For a food market this size, this place is more touristy and pricey than we expected. It s a place where you can find a lot of variety. Compared with other food markets, for instance, the San Miguel market in Madrid, this place has more restaurants than food stalls, so more suitable for a proper meal than just nibbles. Though we were a bit disappointed with the quality expected from the Michelin Starred stalls. If you have no idea what to eat, it s a good place to go to try a bit of everything. though, you d probably get cheaper and more local food from the hole-in-the-wall restaurants not very far from this market.
Great food court with local specialities. No big chains. Pure Portuguese contemporary food. And reasonable prices. DJ and music later at night. Mixed aged crowd. Great place to be!!!
A bit fancy and a tourist thing to visit, but it's possible to find good food there in a cool way
Loads of different options from local chefs/restaurants and really nice setting. Was told to expect to pay a lot but was similar price to London street food so cheaper than expected :)
Great food for really good prices and a whole variety of it. It's a must.
Great food in great atmosphere- so called must visit . :)
Great place, always packed, even 11pm. Best restaurants around the town have open small shops inside this renewed market. You can't miss this one. Hamburgers, codfish, croquetes, pastel de nata, Jamon, steaks and much more.
Such An amazing place to eat! Try lots of different stands when you're there
Nice place to get all kinds of raw Vegetables, fish and most of the non veg items also good place to have breakfast as there are many small restaurants and coffee shops inside.
There is good variety for food and drinks and the atmosphere is nice. However the prices are a bit hight compared to the rest of the city.
Everything you may want under 1 roof! Try everything. Cool experience to "share" a meal with tons of people.
One of a kind. Could easily spend a whole day here just walking around and eating food. We ate at O Surf & Turf and got their iconic octopus with black tapiaco and I can easily say I've never eaten anything like it and it was perfect. Also stopped by Manteigaria for their pateis de nata which were so so tasty. I even dropped one after bumping into someone and they gave me another without a bat of an eye!
Very crowded, not enough place to sit, mediocre food with expensive prices. Typical trendy food hall without the essence of a real food hall
Great place to hang out and have lunch or dinner. A little bit noisy and not that cheap, but the food is a little better than common fast food and there is a lot of choice.
Fun place for lunch or dinner. You can sample for from some of the best chefs in Portugal. Though the market opens at 10am many stalls don't start serving until 1130.
Great place to have food, the only downside is maybe try to find a table to eat it, still as it is very dynamic you could be lucky to find a place quickly especially 2 people the bigger the crowd the hardest to find a seat.
Good variety of restaurants at reasonable prices. The space is good but kind of crowded, but with some patience with always find a space in some table.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit when in Lisbon.
