It was ok, not worth the price and hype in my own opinion. Personally I think it s another tourist trap. I think they tried too hard to do the Eatly concept here but didn t work. I would rather spend my money at a more authentic Portuguese restaurant.

The food here is really excellent. Not everything, mind you, but most things. Meredith Veira's risotto and the Caldeirada de Mariscos are two excellent dishes, as well as basically the bacalhau anywhere. I had a great tuna steak from the Cozinha da Felicidade and an excellent Garlic shrimp from Cafe Sao Bento.

A real tourist trap. Overpriced dishes and small portions for a boutique fast food experience. It was overcrowded (with tourists - I bet no local eats here) and we had to eat standing because there were no places left. Traditional restaurants around the area sell better food for more affordable prices, plus you can seat and enjoy a proper meal. Pure example of how good marketing can fool people into thinking they had an "authentic" Lisbon experience. Avoid.

Plenty of choices if you re in the mood for fish/seafood and pork. Didn t see any churrasqueiras serving chicken dishes. Loads of choices that may make it seem daunting. Definitely take your time scoping out all the restaurants before making a choice. Tip: some of the stalls have additional separate seating on their other side (behind the kitchen) and some have restaurant space for better seating (in case the whole food court seems impossible to find a seat).

Overpriced food, this is nothing compared to FoodHallen in Amsterdam. Also If I could I would rather eat in a more local resto/cafe in lisbon which tastes better and doesn't hurt your pocket

Plenty of people enjoy the meal in this place while a lot of choices they provide, like Portugal food, Chinese food, cakes, etc. Absolutely, it is an interesting place you must have a try.

Textbook-perfect restoration of an old market: half the building still sells fruits and vegetables, and the other (enooooormous) half has dozens of upscale food stalls offering new takes on Portuguese foods. Prices are a bit high and some booths are a little questionable (really, one just for gin & tonics?) but I can't think of a better destination for a fun night out.

Not what we were expecting. Everything is clean and spelling new, we were thinking it would be more authentic. Tourist trap prices though the good does look very good. Amazing Portuguese tarts from Manteigaria, would recommend you not pass those up!

Great place to eat. Full of amazing options, we had a great time sampling dishes from multiple places. It has a great atmosphere and is full of locals and tourists alike. Octopus dishes are my recommendation!

Glorified food court. Absolutely shocked how people can even think it s ok to give these people money. You earned that money, have some self respect and don t go to eat here. Go somewhere a little more local or independent instead. If you want to go just to tick the box , which I really really urge you to reconsider, then just have a drink. The super thing was pretty cool I ll admit but expensive. If you do go to eat then I am sure you will enjoy your half effort made , they don t care about you burger and your could have bought a bottle of this for this price cocktail. :)

Cool concept that brings together higher end chefs alone with local brands and shop owners to create a fun and immersive eating and shopping experience. Heavily geared towards tourists, but it does provide a shaded and air conditioned refuge during the peak sun hours of the day. The other half of the building offers a more authentic local experience of a fruit and vegetable market as well. Gets very busy during lunch hour and seating can be hard to find. Family friendly.

Wonderful place to enjoy traditional market and modern restaurants in the same time. You can buy cheap and fresh vegetables and fruits here, and taste the best food directly come from the market!

A common project between the goverment/EU and a charity organisation with purpose of job-creation.
I really liked the idea and also fresh local products which was being offered there.
We didn't eat food but it was extremely crowded and packed with locals and visitors.
Visiting the place was free of charge but you will most probably need a taxi unless you live in the vicinity or are prepared to talk a 20 minutes intensive walk from the downtown.
Highly recommended for both locals and tourists

Large food court with shops selling wine, sardines and other local specialties. Prices are on the higher side and everything feels just for tourists. For a more local experience try the many restaurants and bars around the city. However, it's a good place if you have little time, need some gifts or want to try different kinds of Portuguese food (especially in a group of people with different tastes).

Food has little Portuguese flavor. It's meant for tourists and that means it's pricey for what you get. There are lots of selection, but the food is not that great. The market where produce are sold is not vibrant either.

Nice food court with many different selections. My main hick-up is that each stall has too many selections. Almost all stalls are backed by restaurants - some of them with one or two Michelin stars - and I fell it would better suit the concept if each restaurant chose two maybe three exemplary dishes to offer as appetizer for what they can do at the restaurant. To me,this kind of gourmet food court is all about getting people to try something they didn't expect or wouldn't otherwise have tried.Smaller menus and a clearer distinction between the chefs and somelier would be my recommendations. Worth a visit though, just be really sure to get what you want, as the website isn't all up to date.

So great! Try the pizza with mushrooms and truffles at pizza e Pezzi. Also try the fig stuffed with ham at manteigaria silva. Must try the Beef tartare at tartar-ia. Then, finish it off with the meringue chocolate cake at santini.

You have to try the octopus hot dog! What a great experience! You ll find food from all over the world and super tasty. The Pad Thai is also delicious from the Asian shop.
You could just spend ages in this place tasting everything.
For desert, obviously you ll have to have a Pastel de Nata as they re probably the best made in town.

Cannot stress enough how much you must go here to eat. So many different options and each of them delicious. We tried three different restaurants and were not disappointed once. I recommend to get there around 6 if you are planning on eating dinner. It is almost impossible to find seating too much later. Food on the outside, drinks in the center. Enjoy!

Meh food. The food is clearly not to the local standard. Let's not speak about the prices - outrageous. The place is only for tourists. If you like good food (not the one over salty/sweet) skip and go to more local places.

Wonderful market! Lot's of good choice of food, italian, french, american, asian, portuguese and drinks etc. Everything you can think of. I had an amazing grilled octopus in portuguese style. When you are not sure what would you fancy to eat go to this market, it is impossible to leave without having something there.

Indoor food market. Usually crowded and noisy. But what a market. Large selection of fantastic restaurants. From Burgers to fine dining. All types of alcohol served including local favorites beers, wines, ports etc etc. Prices are the same as other restaurants in town but the vibe and selection can't be beat. There is a large central seating area with more than enough space to accommodate everyone. Go buy your main from one vendor than your alcohol from another then your dessert from another. What fun and fantastic quality food. Very enjoyable would definitely recommend a visit or two.

The place is OK, the food is decent and affordable, however, be prepared to deal with a lot of flies and rude customers and vendors, especially the one from Conserveira de Lisboa, we were waiting on the line for our turn and a couple skipped the line and stood up on front of us, we tried to call the attention of the vendor and couple and they reacted aggressively, so, I had to give them a portion of my New Yorker attitude back...!

Everything is so overpriced there, it is kinda similar to Florence market. I ordered a dish of patanishcas with feijoada which was tasty but very overpriced. There are way better small restaurants in Alfama area for example. It is for sure a tourist trap. The only place which might be worth its price is the egg tart shop Manteigaria.

My go to place for dinner when in Town! If you can't make up your mind on where to eat, this is one place where you will find everything! Be sure to get there early to grab seats though! Love the energy in the market.
