Its a victim of it's own success. Much to busy at least when we were there. We walked through and left because it was so crowded.

Fantastic, busy, great selections of street food. If you are in Lisbon worth a visit.
Some good spots to eat but far too busy to be enjoyable
Well worth a visit great variety of food in a very nice atmosphere
Great selection of food and drink at a decent price. I would highly recommend a visit!
Great food and vibe. However, it's designed explicitly for tourists, and can be quite crowded.
we enjoyed its lovely place eat in to big people group
Great lunch spot. Was able to try a number of different Portuguese and international dishes from different vendors and there's a large wine and spirits selection. Very casual, fun atmosphere.
An amazing experience, a great buzz and food and drinks to suit all belly sizes and dietary requirements
Fantastic place with amazing atmosphere. For the food lovers must visit
So glad we went here. So much variety and very good, wish I remembered the name of where we got our food, but the pork cheek was amazing.
Lots of delicious food to try and pretty decent price, always busy!
Don't come hungry; come and eat something and sweet. Small portions of average food at an expensive price point.
All the options were appetizing and the atmosphere was very nice. Everyone were nice and it seemed normal to join a table if you can t find a spot. I strongly recommend the cocktail-wine bar! Their cocktails and wines were all so good
Hyped but disappointing. It looks like a hip market but it's expensive, the food is not on par with other restaurants in the area considering their high price point, it's full of tourists fighting for tables, and it has the atmosphere of a busy train station. Hip market halls in Barcelona and Berlin are doing a significantly better job at not making it feel like an overpriced college food court.
Incredible food and drink choices available from some top Portuguese chefs. A must visit. And make sure you there hungry!
Ideal solution when your travel buddies all have a different taste for food. Order at the stalls and sit together at the large tables.
Amazing selective food market with best of the best restaurants. Very well branded and designed. I passed twice there and tried the food of many kiosks. Do not miss the desserts. You can find the best chocolate cakes ever here. A must visit spot.
Nice place where to eat well in the same not spending much
Very nice food, however absolutely heaving at all times and food was about twice as expensive as anywhere else we ate
A shopping mall like food hall.
The food is good, but expensive.
There are pigeons flying (and pooping) around.
It's always crammed and em very hard to find a seat.
Is better to just go to the actual restaurants. Almost all places inside this food hall have a full on restaurant somewhere in the city.
Had such a great time at the market! Food and drink was delicious, and it got us all hot and ready to explore Lisbon.
Excellent buzz around this place with amazing food from the many resturants
It's a great concept of having gourmet restaurant offering food that can be consumed in a social and vibrant environment. All dishes offered look delicious from local produce to traditional cuisine. It's almost impossible to go home without a full belly! It's a must try if you visiting Lisbon
Great collection of four and five star chefs for reasonable prices. Be prepared to search for a table for a while once you've placed your order. If you're in a big group, it's likely you'll have to split up to find seats. The food is fantastic though and worth the effort of asking if a seat is free several times before finding success. Free wifi throughout and free restrooms. No table service in general but a few places have bars you can sit at and get service there.
Great place to try different portuguese food. It is not cheap though. I was disappointed by the fact that they were dishes like a Real meal ans not tapas. If you want to try different things you have to order at several places which can get very expensive. The food was tasty though and love the concept
It's good great good but at rush time there is no place to sit.
Great selection of food concessions, something for all, great ambiance
And old market converted to a food court, with a huge variety of cuisine and beverages, a place to nible or to have a casual lunch or dinner. Some times it gets a bit overcrowded, but nevertheless a place to visit and enjoy.
I couldn't reccomend this place more! The concept is fantastic and the food even better. We went for traditional Portuguese pork belly but we had to walk round twice to make sure we were making the right choice. I think anything we would have chosen would have been perfect. The custard tarts from the little stall in the corner near the front are a must.
Big choice od various kind of food nad drink, nice atmpshere
We came here on a Wednesday night quite early and it was packed. Loads of great food on offer. 3-4 bars. We ate in the restaurant above the market and had some great 'modern Portuguese' (it was great I have no idea how modern or Portuguese it was!)
Such a lively and happening place. The place has such a surreal buzz about it. A must-visit place for tourists!
We enjoy our time in Timeout Market. Best cod plate what we ever had prepared by Alexander Silva.
It's a really good place to stop and have lunch. Gets a bit crowded but still manageable. They have delicious seafood, hams, cheeses, pastries and much more for affordable prices.
Not far from Cais de Sodre station. Great place to get some food
Many many little stores for everyones appettite. Try one of these little gems, sit along with the locals, grab a glass of wine or beer and enjoy your lunch
An amazing place to have a night out and must be visited if you are in Lisbon. A lot of chains to choose and enormous variety of food and beverages but be prepared to pay a bit more than average price in Portugal.
Overpriced and avarage food. Very busy, tourist trap.
The food was good but not spectacular, and it was very touristy and overcrowded. Go early or go very late for the best experience.
Expensive. I would not go there once again. Nothing extra special and all the food highly overpriced.
Great place to go for drinks. Lots of different food options but not sure they're all very good. The burger was great and the sushi my friend had was good. Some of the other vendors are not the best. Great Portuguese tart and coffee shop in the corner!
Reminded us of the Mercado San Miguel in Madrid. The main fresh food stalls were closed when we arrived.
Great food and variety of modern Portuguese cooking, bit pricey.
Great choice of food and drink from loads of differant food stalls
55 restaurants. Many overpriced compared to local restaurants outside foodcourt
Too busy & noisy, for me... To have your order ready and eat it while your standing, because we could not find a place to sit, was not nice... :(
Don t go on the weekends - you ll never find a place to sit. If you re determined to go find a place to sit first then order.
Ok place...food in the restaurants here seems a bit microvaved...meeh!
The Time Out market is amazing and filled with loads of options. Prices are a bit more than regular places in Lisbon but it's definitely worth to check it out. Head to Manteigaria for the best pastel de nata in town!
A cracking food market, not too far from the shore and the nearest station.
A huge selection of little food stalls selling a wide range of dishes.
You can wander round and select what you want and they ll give you a pager to come back when it s ready. It can be tricky to get seats if you re in large groups - the tables are huge, long benches and you can sit anywhere, so when it s busy it s often just a free chair or two.
Each restaurant specialise in just a few dishes, so you may need to trek around to find what you want.
A fantastic place for dinner!
Awesome place! Try the croquettes at the little shop on the corner. The traditional are amazing! Also the egg tarts are phenomenal. Be sure to add cinnamon and powdered sugar.
Biggest food court in Lisbon, with a variety of merchants, chefs and restaurant chains serving the best fares you can think of. Think flavours, cuisines and you got you the best congregation of food options in a beautiful city. Don't miss out on this place. You'll be glad you came
Very nice place with great choice of tasty food, but too crowded. It's a challenge to find a seat even in the working day.
I loved this place. Huge amount of restaurants with typical Portuguese food. Delicious but very crowded!
Fantastic place for eating, meetings, drinking and other ;-))) specially during weekend nights. A lot of foreigners, tourists, languages. All those things with great local food and drinks. One of the places in Lisboa named "must see"
Nice experience. We had lunch with octopus hot dog, really tasty. You can choose different kind of food but the prices are high for a market. (30 euro for 2 hotdog and a coke)!
Pretty epic. Amazing food, went with group of 6, everyone went somewhere different. All food superb.
There was a lot of hype, and the atmosphere waa as pretty cool but i was not impressed with the food. I ate at four different stalls and nothing I ate was really earth shattering.
Offers a variety of food but lacks true quality. Besides that, prices are reasonable. Be sure to reserve seats before ordering or you'll find yourselves in hot water!
A lot of different local food, good place for travelers!
This is a really modern, eclectic food court with lots of high end options. Be prepared for it to be busy, but it's really fun!
I came back here a few times while I m Lisbon. There is so much to try! I would recommend the Portuguese places. I was only slightly disappointed by the sushi. While I love the atmosphere, location, and breadth of options, it is a bit annoying how difficult it is to find a place to sit.
The place was primarily designed for all groups. Great dishes, staged for cooking workshops, prices for all and with a variety of cuisines. There is no bad option. Even the ice cream had a flavor based on Rocher chocolate and it was AMAZING! Give it a visit you will love it.
Must go place!
Great food and awesome ambiance.
Grate place for finding different choices of food. Prices a little bit overrated
A nice place to Mix with other Tourists while trying out Local food Made by Locals.
It is one of the places to visit in Lisbon. Marketplace turned marketplace of restaurants where you stand in line and order and then sit in the central communal area. Upstairs you can find one of my favourite restaurants in Lisbon: Pap'Acorda . So I advise arriving early, and having a couple of drinks downstairs while tasting cheese, dried ham or the quintessential "croquetes" and then head upwards for a good calm dinner.
Very pretty venue. Sally it gets crowded with a lot of tourists and there is a pressure on seating. Food can be hit and miss depending where you go. My advise, stick to the old traditional restaurants, snack bars and coffee shops - the ones with the grumpy waiters!
Food from all the places you would normally have to wait an hour to get in to around town. Also a nice produce market
This could be an easy 5 stars but no totally inadequate seating numbers was causing chaos with people walking around aimlessly looking for somewhere to perch. Also quality of food questionable ours was barely warm and looking around at the dozens of barely eaten food left I'm thinking they didn't like it or too cold. Lastly.... ok venue not bad but this is essentially a tourist trap with way overpriced food. Do yourself a favour and book into Tiles Bar down the road instead absolutely brilliant.
Great place to get some local and international foods.
What an experience! Great food, such a buzzing atmosphere, so much choice of traditional Portuguese cuisine (and a few others too). I ordered a seared tuna steak sandwich from two different vendors and wow.... They did not disappoint. The tuna was cooked to perfection, still pink in the middle and full of flavour. My partner said his steak was cooked well and was served with some of the best homemade chips we've ever had. Great location near to the river in the centre of the city and great spaced out hall. Expect to wait for a seat if you come during lunch and dinner time. And guard your seat once you find it! You should be able to get everything from a 3 course meal to a light snack or a drink here to cater for all tastes.
Iconic food court type place with lots of options, popular with tourists
Lots of different food. It's not timeout invention though. This type of business existed forever.
Can highly recommend the food court, but the market as such is not really worth it.
Awesome place with a large choice of food, a must-see in Lisbon.
Lqrarge selection of local, great food. Very busy and a tad over priced.
Really interesting eating concept. Don't worry on the back sides of the store fronts some restaurants have an actually seating and table area, like a restaurant. Also there's an upstairs with more. Really good food and the variety is awesome!!!
Great area to visit, would highly recommend. Many options to choose from, we ordered x2 dishes from Asian Lab and then got a desert from a vender I can't remember the name of. FYI the food was way better than they look in the photos! Lively place and you can see why, we were there on a Sunday evening and it was very busy, didn't have trouble finding seats either and the staff are constantly going around keeping the tables clean. It's directly across from the metro also which will link you to the other metros if you are not staying close by
