35+ of the best restaurants represented at kiosks here! The best foods from around Lisbon in one spot! What more could you ask for? I had the grilled prawns in garlic sauce at Monte Mar. Delicious! Will definitely be coming back here probably every day the rest of my trip.

Time out is a high end (Upscale) food court located within the Mercado da Ribeira. There are many vendors of exceptional quality foods including pastries, wines/ ports, bacalhau, etc. there are plenty of tables and benches to take your food to eat and there is even a park nextdoor if the tables are full.

Great place to get great food at affordable prices. I had and recommend the pork belly by Alexandre Silva and bacalhau by sea me. Both very good. Great wine and port (and generally drink) options too.

Really cool place with lots of great food options. We had some of the best traditional Portuguese food here. Note that it can be very challenging to find seating when it's busy - it would be nice if they could expand their seating space to accommodate really busy times.

Great concept but tacky setup. Yes we get it, TimeOut revamped the place, however, there is a more subtle way to underline that this is TimeOuts spot in Lisbon.

That being said the culinary variety is great, however, overpriced by Portugese standards. Stick to the seafood stands and their tuna sandwiches which are A+

Overall, a very crowded marketplace with nice food options but too much TimeOut marketing plastered everywhere you look.

Had a great dinner in Monte Mar in Timeout market. A great place with nice vibe and has all sorts of foods. The wine shop was a nice one as well! Very helpful!

Highly recommended for a late afternoon visit and dinner!

We came down from the Bica cable car, just a couple of minutes walk!

The security guards need to learn some manners. We brought some wine in and were unaware that we could not drink it inside, instead of politely being told we cannot drink inside we were surrounded by two of them who rather rudely told us to get out. Also I feel large market food courts like these seem to breed unenthusiastic restaurants owners. I've seen it in my country and I'm sure it's the same around the world. My dish was good but the others in my group was just average. Seems rather expensive too so attracts a certain crowd I guess.

Large food court with a wide selection of prepared foods, wines, and sweets. Inside the food court area is akso some small shops with nice Portuguese items - very nice for tourists. There is also fresh seafood stalls and a large fresh produce area to buy fruits, vegetables, flowers and more.

I looooooove this place! It concentrates amazing and delicious stuff at the same place, just perfect. First time I ve visited Lisboa I ve ended up eating there for 50% of my meals, totally worth it. If I m not wrong the third restaurant on the right side is the best. Then you must have a double desert, first an ice cream at Santini and then go to Mantegaria (I believe that s the name) and have a pastel de nata. Just perfect

I went to Time Out Market for the first time a little over a year ago (Oct 2018) and loved it. You can try some of the tastiest food Lisbon has to offer all within a nice, organized and compact space. Fast forward a year later and Time Out Market still offers that, but now there are throngs of people to the point where you cannot get a seat without hovering over someone like a hawk until they leave and then having to swoop in hoping that you and a rival hawk aren't going to have to peck each other to death.

Unfortunately, in addition to tasty food, Time Out Market is now bringing out the worst in humanity. The only viable solution is for employees of Time Out Market to walk around and hit people with sticks that save seats for others. The more seats they save, the more they should get hit with a stick.

Please fix this problem Time Out Market and start whacking people immediately.

We liked it, but this is like a lot of the food halls around the world. Independent businesses with shared seating. There is similar in Copenhagen. Very much like Altrincham Market.
It is a good place to go and try good quality local delicacies, but doesn't have the ambiance of going and eating in a restaurant. You fight for a seat at the busy tables. Would ld be a good place to go if you are travelling on your own and want to meet other travellers or if you are going with a big group of people with different tastes as you can each order from a different restaurant and (if you are lucky) sit together.

Nice place to meet with friends. Different cuisines, but all very tasty. Worst thing - it's hard to find empty place at the tables during evenings & weekends. But despite this - highly recommended.

Nice setup with a bunch of different eateries and restaurants. The food is generally good and there is something for everyone. The place is also dirty though, tables should be cleaned faster after guests leave. The service at 3 out of the 4 places we tried was poor. There are cooler things to do when visiting Lisbon I feel.

A place where you can find all typical foods of Lisbon, a place where all can come together sit on long tables. Looks all nice there, personally think the prices are to much but for tourist area normal.

Felt like Borough Market in London, but with far more seating...though still had to wander round like in a busy car park, hovering until people would leave to get a seat. Nothing wrong with being full of tourists but don't think we'll return when there are far more places in the city.

Good food, good wine. Can get crowded (especially after eight and around lunch), and I would not recommend it for a family with young children, as the food is best picked up a plate at a time (do share!).

A bit pricier than Lisbon in general, but compared to most local, some restaurants the food is far more interesting.

A must to visit. A foodie's paradise. Maybe 40 boutique restaurants highlighting all if Portugal's cuisine. Expect to pay slightly more but the food is outstanding and the portions generous. The ambiance is outstanding.

A fantastic job has been done of trying to squeeze the best of every restaurant Lisbon has to offer into one place. From the traditional to the modern, with everything in between. Every city should have one!

Based on one visit, its a like and dislike in equal measure.

GENERAL - Great concept, loved the big tables and cultural vibes. Atmospheric and fun. Food choice overwhelming (for me) it's like having a menu with 1000 dishes on it. Some will love that much choice, I found it tricky. Definitely a tourist destination.

KIDS FOOD - We didn't find many options, only one in fact. Kind kids burger from "Ground Burger" 6.50 Euro. My son opted for a regular sized burger without lots of toppings, just cheese, and fries. Great choice, tasty burger cooked medium rare, with delicious rosemary and garlic fries. Total cost with a pepsi, about 12 Euros.

FOOD - Our choice of food was disappointing. We had a roasted pork belly with a sweet potato puree, from "Miguel Castro E Silva". Pork belly had quite a few bones, was greasy and tasted burned. The puree lacked any sweet potato flavour and the pak choi, over cooked and soggy. Dish cost 15 Euros. I'm certain that we could have made better choice elsewhere. Wine was fantastic, from the wine place in middle. We could taste before buying. Excellent wine knowledge from vendor. Large glass of wine cost 6.50 Euro. Fantastic ice cream from "Santini" which cost 3.50 Euro. Table clearing service - pretty good, apart from when really busy.

SUMMARY - Research vendors on the Time Out website before going, to get the best out of your experience. There was quite a lot of uneaten food around us, on trays of plates left by others. Also, don't just go for the food, go for the experience too. If I go again, I'll research menus first, perhaps look at vendor reviews.

A must if you're in Lisbon! I went three times and was gonna go for a fourth but the husband said no. His reasoning: we need to try other places while we were in the city (for 4 days). Well, my rationale: they had everything - all the foods we were eating all around Lisbon were here in this giant market. Seafood, ham, pork sandwiches, soup, chicken, Portuguese food, Asian food, macaroons, famous Portuguese egg tart, you name it.

It was also really fun here. There were so many people although Time Out wasn't really rowdy place like I imagined - like the Terminal Reading Market in Philly or that night market in Madrid. Time Out seems a more calmer place to get food, a glass of or beer and enjoy oneself. A classier smorgasbord.

The prices here weren't cheap like you would find at a normal food court/cart either. As I mentioned, it's a more high class place, and the price reflects it. Though nothing outrageous. I mean, I went 3x!!! It's about the same price or slightly cheaper if you had gone to a restaurant. But way more options here. And the atmosphere was just great. You should definitely check it out.

There is also a whole real market side where they sell raw fish, fruits, vegetables, but I didn't really have time to venture much outside the food area.

Huge variety of food to chose from. Burgers, sea food, other things, whatever you want.

There is shop with local products inside (not that good I think). However, there is another shop with local cheese/sausages that is prety good if you want some souvenirs.

Overall too crowded for me personally, but majority of people were enjoying it.

Good stop over place if you just can t decide what to eat (as a tourist). It has a variety of cuisine so if you are in a group or have kids, hopefully you will find something here that satisfies everyone. It s a really nice food court with communal tables but for those that know Eataly, it is a few step below. We had a glass of wine (not great but drinkable) and charcuterie which was fine. We came by for an afternoon snack so it served us fine. This market is much bigger and more lively than the less touristy one which is Campo de Ourique Mercado.

A huge converted warehouse filled with restaurants offering incredible food at reasonable prices. You could spend weeks here without trying everything! The higher end restaurants are on the north side of the hall, but I've not experienced a bad meal from any of the outlets. I particularly liked the Croqueteria and Tartaria.

Lots of fun, good food and plenty to choose from. Great octopus, burgers and traditional dishes., Also a great vibe. Very touristy, so not very traditional. Well worth spending some time there though.

The Time Out Market is a great place - whether you're in a group, can't decide what to eat, on a short trip, there's something for everyone. We ate their twice. We went to Asian Lab and COZINHA DA FELICIDADE. Both were great, both were very different.

The best of Lisbon is housed here! It has a total of approximately 40 stalls of restaurants, bars and shops giving you a wide array of food and beverage selections. It really gets jam-packed of tourists here, so planning ahead of the visit is a must as looking for a place to dine and the long queues are a headache!

According to their website, everything that are being sold are tested and tasted by experts. Yes, I can really attest that the quality of food is at par to the standards of an authentic Portuguese food and the prices are really budget-friendly. Your whole Lisbon experience would not be complete without you dining here!
