Amazing selection of food and drinks. Many stalls specialize on gourmet and/or interesting twists on traditional Portuguese food (like "croquetes", "pregos" or seafood). The environment is cool and buzzing and locals and tourists alike come to visit. This makes it very very crowded, but still veey worth a try and the 5min wandering around to find a spot. Highly recommend "Sea Me" (for seafood) and "Santini" (for ice cream), but mostly recommend trying as many stalls as possible!

This place is split between a traditional market (mornings only, no fish sold on Mondays) and a self-service food court that serves cheese, sea food, deserts - options for everyone if you want to avoid going to a proper sit down restaurant.

How can you not give this place a 5-star rating. There's only about 30 or 40 places to eat with every possible variety of Portuguese and some International Food. You could spend hours sampling everything. Frustration was that we couldn't come back and eat again again again. Deserts. Beer. Wine. Chocolates. Gourmet Specialties. Fish Galore. Plus all possible variations. Don't miss this place.

Saw this market on Somebody Feed Phil and knew I had to come here. Was not disappointed at all! Great experience, tasty food, and fun people watching. Many cultures/countries are represented here (customers) so it s fun to listen to the symphony of languages play out

One of the most busy food markets i have seen. It was lovely to see a good choice of resturants. However, for vegeterians it is tough as not much option but you can definitely get a good pizza, burger and a few local items. Do visit when in lisbon.

This was an amazing peek into some of the amazing cuisine Lisbon has to offer in one place. Though chaotic at first, once you figure out the ebb and flow of the place, it s fun to peruse and compare menus to see what speaks to you most. Definitely sample a little of everything if you have the room in your tummy for it, or at the very least, chat up the shopkeepers and learn about some of the local foods!

Appalling and frustrating first impression.

We arrived at the Time Out Markets at 11am, an hour after it opened, starving. Despite this, the first seven stalls that we visited were not yet open, nor did they have opening hours visible.

What this meant was that you d stand at the counter hoping to order, only to have staff studiously ignore you until you attracted their attention (at which point they informed you they were closed). It was very disappointing and unprofessional.

Additionally, there were very few gluten free options for those who follow such a diet. The prices were also far in excess of what I have come to expect in Portugal.

Ultimately, this may be a good place to lose a few euro and take some Instagram snaps, but don t go there hungry... or before midday.

The choice of food is fantastic along with the quality. If you like fish this would be your place to visit as this cuisine has the most options. Prices are also excellent. Just go and choose your dish and find a seat. Avoid busy times as it's absolute chaos!
Only reason this is getting a 1 star review and i think overrides any good quality food and excellet price are the pigeons flying around inside. Mine and my wife's food got cra***ed on the second time we visited so we could not enjoy the excellent food.

Loved this place, went there multiple times during our stay. It's great having all the greats in the city. In one place, yet, I can't help but wonder what each individual restaurants are like.... Still amazing experience.

Quite a large market of food stalls. The quality of the food is of a high standard. Very professional looking kitchens. A good place for drinks, snacks and meals too. It seems like they've packed a little bit of every Portuguese cuisine under one roof as well as some other international cuisines.

Visited here in February and it was always easy to get a seat and the queues for each food outlet were minimal.

Great food selection, but perhaps a little pricey in some of the places considering it isn't a restaurant setting.

Loads of food options, from Asian to Pizza to local Portugese food. Seating was tricky to find for a group of 4 but managed it with a bit of hanging around groups who looked like they were about to leave!

A must visit place when in Lisabon. Do not eat before you go there, you would be surprised by the variety and quality of the food offered. One of the good places to gdt spoiled with food!

I came here 4 days on the trot to try different foods from some amazing local chefs. It really is a great idea with so much choice. Freshly prepared, go find a seat and get given a vibrating machine that lets you know when your food is ready to collect. Great atmosphere, full of cool and quirky people. The ice cream was to die for. Go check this place out!!

A must visit when in Lisbon! Came here for dinner after Fado inside the box at Adega. Food prices may be a bit higher but there are many great quality food (and drink) options to choose from. Very much enjoyed the festive atmosphere, too, despite a bit of difficulty in finding seats.

Yeees! I think this place is a must if you are visiting Lisbon! Tasty food and nice atmosphere! We stopped there several times just because of the Pastels de nata we found there :).
As for lunch / dinner, some places can be a bit pricey for the size of the portions, but overall we were happy with this food market.

This is a market place with restaurants with different types of food. You can find a variety of food: sea food, asian, burgers, different types of stakes, pizza&pasta, even a great choice of sweets. All types menu's based on fish is an excellent choice. It's a nice experience!

Its a really nice market place with plenty of food and drink options but its really crowded with tourists so hard to find a place to sit. The pastel de nata here is just awesome. we have tried it at several places and this one definitely must be the best in lisbon after the original one in belem.

It's a fun experience but there isn't much choice for vegetarians or vegans. You order, then are given a buzzer which flashes once your food is ready. Finding seats together can be hard during busy times. The food was okay but I'd say it's over-hyped and there are plenty of other places to eat in Lisbon.
