Loads of food and drinks in offer here. From excellent sea food to superb meats and deserts. This place does get very busy, especially during lunchtimes and the evenings but always manage to find seating. Very convenient for the train station, taxis and the tram.

There is a cooking workshop run for there too.

Love this place..... it's all the best restaurants in the area that get a stall here. They also have to keep up the quality to remain there. Lively vibe going on...... I love Asian Lab's Pad Thai
Only they never have the curry I want

Pretty and worth a visit as it brings in some of Lisboa's iconic food in one spot. Let me put it this way. If you have more then 3 days to explore the city then skip this spot and explore all the wonderful local food shop by shop. If you don't have much time this is a decent one stop shop to experience lots of things at once.

Great location, just across the street from the Lisbon train station. Fantastic selection of foods though so popular that seating is often a issue. Inexpensive to a little pricey but fun for a group or family as all can pick exactly what each wants.

Undoubtedly the best place to go if you want to experience a variety of Portugese (and some other) food. We had the fried cod, octopus, and a burger for dinner and was delighted with our choice!

Plenty of choice from various shops. Plenty of choices. It's basically a one stop location for food tasting. From ice cream and cake to grilled sea food, all kinds of things are available to choose from. The prices are not the cheapest in Lisbon and it's like a tourist attraction instead of local marketplace. Overall, good place.

Fun place to enjoy a yummy meal from restaurants all around Lisbon. Large community tables so it's easy to get into a conversation with a stranger. A little too busy at the lunch hour tho. Hard to find seating. Best to go off the main eating hours. We always bring our friends here when they visit us in Lisbon.

This is a place you have to visit if you are around the area. They have different food vendors that's like going to international market. They have seafood, burger, sushi, asian, soup, canned sardines, and pastries.
The cod fish cake from Sea Me was delicious, crispy crust on the outside and flavorful cod fish on the inside. The chicken pad Thai was a bit disappointing, the chicken was very dry and tough and the noodle was lacking the pad Thai flavor.

A good place to visit, have some food and spend some time. It's really expensive to be a good court but the concept is a bit different. Sophisticated meals from very well known chefs and awesome and unic food. I recommend it, also known as Mercado de la Riviera.

Also events as my pictures show.

A concept to revitalize the old market by inviting reference names to a standardized open space where did quotes showcase their cuisine. The result is a place where you can easily get to know a wide spectrum of the portuguese gastronomy. Variety is appealing but it is such a success that it is almost any impossible mission to find a place to sit. Over it turned a dead place into a successful phenomena, especially amongst tourists, so although there is space to improve it is nonetheless a place not to miss.

This place is amazing. All the food options are outstanding. It's a greatest hits of Lisbon in one location. You have to really maneuver for a seat. I suggest taking one seat and expanding slowly. People aren't in a rush to leave. Also, on Friday night they clear some tables and have live music and dancing.

Great place ! Lots of amazing food stalls with so much choice. All of these come at a reasonable price.
The only downside is that it's very crowded due to it's success so finding a seat can be difficult.

A great place to go on weekends eat good food and chat with friends. It has several choices of restaurants, desserts and drinks. It can be quite busy but it is easy to find somewhere to sit and eat.

If you are looking for a great meal, this is a must see and place to go. It can be really crowded, but with little patience you will be able to find a table, after you have found your favorite food at one of the many streetfood restaurants. Many of the restaurants has a little transmitter brik, so you can go find your table while you wait for your food to be ready.

It's perfect if:

It's perfect if:
- you can't decide what you want yo eat because you have more than 20 restaurants to choose from;
- you don't have reservation anywhere and the restaurants are full;
- you are with group of people and everyone wants to eat something different.

Of course, during the summer it will be probably full but that's normal for Lisbon. Just avoid the rush hours.

The amount of people trying to find some empty seats is overwhelming. You should try to first get some seats in the great hall and then find something to eat from one of the many different shops. The selection is huge and the service was surprisingly fast, given the amount of people.

Even though highly touristy, it's a good place for you to find several Portuguese gems all in one place. So it's an ideal venue for groups with diverse taste. The bad side is that it's usually full/crowded. It shows how good it is!

A very vibrant food market with gastronomy options! It's free seating so you have to be quick (and flexible) about snagging chairs and sharing the table with others. They had a great system for ordering and picking up food when the buzzer rings for you. We stuck with stalls selling Portuguese food, prices were about 11 eur for a dish but portions were generous. Don't forget to check out the dessert stalls at the back of the market! Had some Portuguese egg tarts for 1 eur each!

A place to have fun during night hours and meet people from all around the world. Warm atmosphere with lots of restaurants and bars where you can taste very delicious food and drink plenty of wine and cocktails while being surrounded with cheerful people.

It may be super crowded but the food options are excellent. Our favorite is Asian lab which has a pretty basic Thai menu but offers excellent quality food. Prices at the market are reasonable, a custard tart is one Euro and a pad thai with chicken is 9 euros. There are also a few other shops selling Portuguese Specialties such as canned sardines and wine. The only downside is finding a place to sit, which can take as long as 10 minutes.

Great variety of food. Whatever you order you won't be disappointed. I recommend getting here before 11 or after 2 as it gets really busy for lunch. Try the Portuguese tarts from Manteigaria. They're amazing.

Definitely a food hall, not a market so don't be expecting there to be stalls of fresh veg, meat and fish. However, if you want a lively place to have a fantastic array of different foods & drink - this is it.

Overpriced tourist trap. Stressful, as people circle like vultures, trying to nab a table. Food not that great (my cod was undercooked and full of bones). Chocolate brownies from the chocolate stop Bettina & Nicolau were a highlight though!

Time Out Market reminded me of the food court American equivalent, but much nicer and way better food. We visited on a Saturday around lunch time and the place was PACKED! We finally found a place to sit and wait for our food. It is a very lively environment with lots of action, lots of shops, and lots of food. However, I prefer the comfort of a sit down restaurant.

Clean, spacious with a great variety of foodstuff on offer. The only thing to let it down a star was the tired service received in the places we tried to frequent. Other than that - worth a visit if in the area.

Trendy place to relax after a long day sightseeing in Lisbon, you will see alot of tourists here, so most of the time it's crowdy. You can have a drink here (wine, gin tonic, crafted beers,...) or enjoy the delicious food/starters in one of the many shops. It's a bit pricy.

It was veeery crowded but luckily I found a place to seat fast enough. There are maaany options and I was very pleased to find a vegan dish on the first restaurant I saw. I was in a hurry to have lunch then head to the airport and everything happened as planned. What a lovely experience!

Really crowded. Some of restaurants were closed in the middle of the day, even though they seemed to be open - staff was informing, that they are open to prepare for 5pm re-opening. I was aware that some of the restaurants may be closed, but didn't expect that in such place. Food was ok, but I wouldn't say it's anyhow better from other place outside.

Its a must see and taste in Lisbon:) very crowdy , not easy to find a seat sometimes. We ve made two rounds of the place before we finally made choice what to eat:)) a lot of food. I recommend a stall with beer somewhere in the middle of the hall.

Great place for food, and even during COVID they manage to stay open with space between people. The food is good in all of the stalls, but the prices are a bit high for what you re getting often.

Still, a great spot for food if you don t know what you want and you just want to wander around a bit to find something.

Loud, hectic and not comfortable at all. The food selection is high, but the prices could lower. The "time out" brand does not justify such a price inflation, especially considering how the space is. Not planning to go back...
