Meh. It s a bit too crazy in there. But a good place to try all the foods Lisbon has to offer without trolloping all over the city.

This place is good but OVERRATED!
Pros
- varieties of cuisines from tradition local to international
- good chill atmosphere/vibe
- great hangout place to chill
Cons
- Very expensive, over priced
I would recommend to visit just for a few drinks but not for food
Great, vibrant place although can get very busy and is a bit pricey.
Overall quite nice place, but really bad vegetarian/vegan options.
Crowded, lots of people everywhere and it s hard to find a place to sit. The food is good but expensive - for the price it could have been far nicer to just get a real restaurant and spend the evening sitting down and eating instead of fighting over a place to sit and running around with trays.
Basically... It s an overpriced food court.
Fantastic idea and only good food to be had. Could do with some additional waste disposal facilities
Fantastic, lots of different foods to choose from & great atmosphere
Way too many people!! It was even hard to find a place to sit down. The food isn t the cheapest and it s also very touristy. Not a place to go if you want a local experience.
Good that it has lot of variety. But a bit pricey. It is good for a group of people that has a lot of different request for dinner. The area is big. Cleanness is acceptable. But a bit too crowned. It is hard to get seat except the bar table seat.
Stumbled across this place by accident but glad we did! Great food. Great drink.
Fantastic variety of good food available at reasonable prices. I visited here more than once during my visit to Lisbon. It is worth noting that finding somewhere to sit can require a bit of patience at peak times.
OMG THE FOOD IS TOOOO GOOD obviosuly prices could be better BUT WHO CARES THE FOOD IS AMAZING OMGOMGOMG THE CAKES THE ECLAIRS THE SUSHI THE DUMPLING THE BURGERS THE CROQUETTES THE SEAFOOD HDJDNSKSKKS SOOOO GOOOODDDDD
TOP T I P:
12PM LATEST you should run get your food and then only will you be able to find a seat otherwise good luck standing for about 30mins or more just to find seats because it is PACKED by 1pm/2pm
also the market beside IS very good like busy but lots of foods and MASSVE MELONS also fresh fish 2
Seafood variety for very efordable price, this is what I like the most.
Good food, but not if you re a vegetarian. Always busy, even 5pm on a Sunday, not enough seats for the crowds they draw. Good system for paying and waiting for food, reasonable prices, brilliant selection. A good introduction to Lisbon food. Try the prego roll.
This is a must see if you are visiting Lisbon for the first time and are a foodie. It's a high end food court type concept. Great ambiance and lots of fun restaurants to choose from. We went around to see what was being offered and bought food from 4 different places we shared. Try to croquette bar that offers many types of croquettes (meat, vegetarian, etc. Don't forget to stop by Manteigaria for a fresh pastel de nata....mmm Enjoy!
Very nice, very busy hip place. Very good food selection. Comfort & queuing not so good.
This is such a must for anyone visiting Lisbon. They some of the best restaurants of the country all in one large and pleasant dinning hall. It makes everything so easy and everything you could want or need can be found here.
Great fresh produce and fabulous restaurants at good prices
Really great place to get a taste of a whole bunch of local flavors all in one place. No matter what dish you choose here, you won't be disappointed.
Busy food court reminding me of Singapore... great variety of local and international food and drinks, mostly using real plates and cutlery instead of single use plastic. Great for small and bigger groups as everybody will find something to eat and drink. Definitely recommended!
Different types of food under the same roof. Be aware that usually is crowded. Nearby restaurants is a good alternative if too crowded inside.
Great place with nice atmosphere. Grilled octopus and codfish are highly recommended.
A nice but very touristic market with view of locals. The various food locations are trying very hard to sell additional food/drinks, which was in our case really annoying. We are willing to spend a fair amount of money - but we don't want to get pushed.
That being said ... there's a better market not to far in Lisbon (15mins with public transport) that served in our case a way better overall experience.
So many options to eat in one location. Had ceviche and seared tuna. Both were delicious. Pitcher of sangria washed it down
Perfect place if everything else is closed, perfect if you love crowd and noise. Food is not bad
A must try place in Lisbon. A market with a lot of food options with a modern look.
Great atmosphere. Modern food hall mixed with traditional market. Food can be hit or miss.
Great food market and blazing internet in nice location by the park.
Such an amazing place. Everyone can find what they're fancy for. Prices are for a big plus. The only issue I had was finding a place to sit.
Lots of choice (especially for the undecided) and high quality food. It does get a bit busy though!
I had a great octopus dish here -- it was tender and tasty! Speaking with the locals (several were at my table), they seemed to really like the place. Worth checking out.
Best fresh fish, fruit, and vegetables in the city. BC and incredible prices too.
The best market to stop by in the Lisboa. Full of diversity food to enjoy. Strongly recommend to visit before evening to avoid crowds. Their seats are rarely available during meal time :)
Energetic and fun place to get food with many choices
Excellent place to visit if you're at all interested in food. There's something for everyone: from the bolinha de bacalhau you'd expect, to hipster burgers. The choice of beers is limited, but they're served cold. It can get crowded, and seating is an issue for larger groups.
Great market with the best Pastel de Nata. Long queues but worth it for high quality food!
Great place, filled with a lot of local and international food. Feels like a bit of a tourist trap, but I still loved it ! :)
Great place to eat and drink with friend and family. You surely will find something nice to eat.
Wide selection of delicious foods, but very crowded, not enough seats and tables
Lots of foods. All of them looks tasty. But there are too many people too enjoy the atmosphere of the market. A must visit anyway.
Really good options. You will not regret. Amazing food and great environment
A must see spot in Lisbon. Different restaurants offer to the visitors a wide range of offers to choose from.
Great place for a variety of food and drink in the heart of Lisbon. Fantastic for groups with fussy eaters as all tastes catered for.
Great food market. A little bit expensive and really busy but has great atmosphere and is bustling. Go to the burger bar for the best burger in Portugal.
Awesome original food. A bit slow to serve and very busy depending on the time, but I'll definitely recommend it.
Good place to come to and try some variety for food in Lisbon. Definitely more for tourists so looking at higher prices. Place is kept clean by staff even though quite a few people don't bus their trays.
Excellent place to enjoy a really Portuguese meal! With valuable options and am incredible environment, full recommended
Highly recommend to discover the best of local food scene. Be warned it is very crowded and most likely very hard to find tables, however you all the food scene around you.
Great market with lots of options for delicious local foods!
Highly recommend this place. We ended up eating here more than once. Iberian ham, Asian food, Portuguese food and delicious dessert. Advisable to arrive early for lunch and weekend dinners.
A bit pricey for local food. Sardines on toast (6 ), cheese and ham board (12 ), Nata Gelato (3.50 ), 3 Croquettes (4.50 ). Would have preferred going to another place to taste these. The concept (bringing all different restaurants into one place) is okay if you feel like meeting people and tasting different things. Would not return.
I'm torn. It's a tourist hotspot (prices come with that) and feels like local people are at the old fruit and fish market in the outer part only.
The "food court" runs like a well-oiled machine and the stuff sold is of good quality as far as I can be a judge.
Amazing variety! You can try pastries, seafood, burgers, juices, cured ham and cheese, sushi, and more!
I got the Risotto Negro with seared scallops and seaweed. Very tasty and well executed dish for only 12 at a food market. Unbeatable! Worth a stop or two or three, for breakfast or lunch!
A brilliant place to have your meal. Good for winters specially as it is indoors. A multitude of veg and non vegetarian options available as well as a variety of cuisines to cater to all tastes .
The most touristy thing you can do in Lisbon I think. The food is great, but it felt like going to a mall.
Fab place so much to see and eat, gone too popular now
Nice place for eating out in a modern and pleasant environment
Lots of good restaurants with traditional and less traditional stuff for tourists. Some places are a bit overpriced.
Absolute must to see for everyone that calls himself a foodie. So much to chose from and it is all delicious!
Time Out Market Lisboa is a food hall located in the Mercado da Ribeira at Cais do Sodre in Lisbon, Portugal. It opened in May 2014, and is the first of several planned food hall ventures for Time Out.
It s a sure 1 star rating for this place. Wanna feel like you enter an Istanbul overcrowded market and pay prices of a fine dinning restaurant not before sitting in a huge line at every stall. Did I mention that you cannot sit down if you are more than 1 ? Place to be avoided, belive me when I say so.
Great food options and nice music playing too. Try avoiding rush hour time as it's hard to find seats
Love love love this place! It gets crowded but it s so worth it. So many incredible food options from some of the best restaurants in Lisbon. I love that there s people from all over the world that come here. I ve tried food from about 5-6 different booths there. So far I loved the hamburgers the best from Honorata. Juiciest and most flavorful burger I ve ever had. The pesto pizza and truffle mushroom pizza are really good. The caldo verde that one of the places has is great. The ice cream place has good delicious options. The drinks are really good. I could go on and on. They also have cooking workshops there and we just tried the pastel de nata workshop and it was very fun and informative. I learned a lot from that class. Miguel is a wonderful instructor who teaches in both English and Portuguese. The only reason I gave Time Out 4 stars and not 5 is because their bathrooms are pretty bad. Once it gets very crowded it turns pretty filthy and there s always really long lines because of the crowd.
Good vibes, plenty of options and delicious food. Definitely worth checking out for a meal and one of the best Portuguese tarts I've had
Very tasty freshly made food. But it has its price too. I would say that everything is a little bit overpriced and it's hard to get a seat.
Very nicke market where you can at and chill, drink lokal wines and you can buy fresh fish.
Totally overpriced and too crowded. You sometimes do not find a place to sit.
Very cozy, diferents foods to try, lots of seated spots
Lots of tasty food options. A must visit if you're around here.
The only problem is there are so many choices! We will have to go back to give more places a sample.
Lots of options and good value for money. Starts getting very busy at 7:30pm.
Good place for drink&eat a lot of different dishes.
Plenty of options to eat and drink. Great atmosphere and very cool place to hang out.
Time out market in Lisbon offers a food market hall experience with local dishes, similar to Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse, offered by Portuguese restaurants. Going there allows you to try a variety of different Portuguese dishes with small tapas sized portions. Highly recommended!
Great place to try all locally sourced dishes. Food was fantastic quaffed with local beers and wines
Hard to find a spot but food is great, vibes too! Sometime quite expensive for what it is! But it's a must do in lisboa
Meh. It s pretty but very touristy and overpriced. Not my thing.
Great indoor market for food lovers to come and try the local cuisine with many diffirent choices from sea food, meat, pastry and of course ports ;)
Its not the biggest market so you can go around in few minutes and think what would you try after seeing all the stands.
Nice if you are around
Very good food market to eat at the bar a quick snack, finger food or fresh fish and sea food. Oysters with a glass white wine are my recommendation. Prices are moderate.
Too many people... Very stressful, i could not enjoy the food.
When you get there, buy yourself a bottle of wine, find a seat and table, and enjoy. You can find food while you enjoy your wine and in the comfort of your camp site.
hey time out / lisbon :
this extremely touristy BUT get some control over the petty pimps and peddlers trying to sell various narcotics
good spot for food and drinks BUT that underlying nonsense something that needs to be addressed
There's a wibe here, lot of choices for food. Close to train station, good for groups with different choice of food or diet. A bit pricey but all in all nice wibe and fresh food for anyone's pick.
