Do not go here. The service was the worst. I've gone here on two separate occasions and both times were awful. My oil change took 3 hours because the mechanics decided to run a separate diagnostic test and did not ask if it was ok to take the extra time. The waiting area was dirty and had food all over the floor. Just plain bad service, do not go here.

I bought my SUV in here and the salesman is Powell Scott. Though he started his current job for only a couple of weeks, he works very carefully for me. In fact, I am his first client to buy a car from him. He's very honest man, though a little unfamiliar with the car-sale and needs assistance from his colleague.

How am I supposed to order one of those $65,000 NV2500 4x4 vans with reviews like this ? I see that Ernie is often disappointed to see a one star review. Do the problems ever get solved ?

The amount of inventory available was the only positive about my experience with Tim Dahle Southtowne.

The salesman was unknowledgeable about the available stock and the features of the vehicles. He wasted the better part of an hour trying to simply locate a car and the corresponding set of keys. He wouldn t discuss price with me at all - he instead insisted that I get details from the business manager rather than presenting them to me himself. The business manager was curt and outright refused to negotiate or offer any concessions on what ended up being a very poor offer.

The business manager did not like that I wanted to procure financing via my own credit union rather than through one of their preferred vendors. He said that because I was securing financing on my own, he would be loosing a $200 commission from referring me to a local bank.

Had I not been in urgent need of a new vehicle and been able to find alternative options at other area dealerships, I would have happily given my business to another location. I hated being passed around and treated so dismissively.

Tim Dahle Southtowne will not be earning my business in the future

Write down the quote that you give me over the phone. Then stick to the quote rather than giving me a new one when I show up. And figure out how to incorporate shop fees and tax into the quote so I m not surprised with it afterward.

They worked with us great to buy the car when we got screwed by Ken Garff. And service has been fine the past few times we brought the car in things have been covered by the service contract including a flat tire. But now things have changed and things aren't covered like alignments. Just the service has been going down hill and kinda unhappy about that. It is sad when a place starts going for greed instead of good business. I guess I should be lucky that the oil change is still covered. The definition of "normal wear and tear" needs to be clearly defined here, oil changes and filters are normal wear and tear and I was just told that alignments are "normal wear and tear" but not covered. Guess they have to find a way to screw you over.

Everyone seemed genuine, caring and honest--which has always been really important to me. My Salesman was Raphy, and he was energetic, fun and very direct--a personality I work well with. I felt like I had great service and I walked away happy. Thanks! ^_^-

*Update* Though Ernie responded to the review. I have yet to receive a call back from the dealership regarding the issues. Another reason to avoid this place*
Disappointed... purchased (on a Saturday) a commercial vehicle that had some apparent flaws. The dealership was nice and took those apparent issues off of the price. I m from out of town so I did not want to wait for those repairs to be done and drive back for the vehicle. They claimed to have inspected the vehicle before selling it and tried to charge me $916 for that inspection. I requested the inspection document at the time of purchase, but was told that comes from the service department and they would email it Monday. I trusted that they would stick to their word on it. I made the mistake of not checking the A/C unit before buying it (my fault in not checking, but they inspected it and should ve disclosed that issue), and noticed the next day when I tested it that it was broken! Monday, I check in with the sales rep, Andrew, he says he ll get it over, but the day ends with no email. Tuesday, he responds by saying I m off of work, but I ll get someone else to send it to you . It didn t come. Today, I follow up for the third time, and not a single response. I could expect this poor service from a small auto dealer but not a large firm. I take responsibility in not checking every little thing on the vehicle. Completely my fault for trusting that the dealership would actually seek the interest of the buyer rather their own self interest.

My review is justified by an F on the BBB, but read my experience. Its nuts.

This is the worst run business I have ever witnessed. They were extremely dishonest when selling me my car and it was 3500, next thing I knew this sales guy was trying to charge me 6,500. Almost double what the car is listed at. He said it says on the website prices are subject to change so I pulled up the website and it said it no where. He couldn't even find it. So I am there with my grandpa and my dad and we are asking what are optional things that they just added in and the guy insults my grandpa who asked the question. My grandpa is bad at hearing and he said well if you had been listening you would know what they are for (he hadn't even been able to explain where an additional $2000 had come from yet)... you hear those nightmare stories with the dealerships, yeah, this was like the worst possible version of that. After being there 4 HOURS arguing with this guy and he kept leaving to talk to his manager, they sold it to me for just over 4000 but wanted to take the wheels off my car because I guess they had put new ones on there recently that they wanted us to pay for even though we never even agreed or knew that new tires were put on. We finally got out of there.

Then 2 months later one of these "brand new tires" all the sudden gets a huge bubble in the side of it. So I called to see if they had a warranty and they said it probably does, but they need to look at it. They tell me that they can price match though so even if it's not I will get the cheapest price there. So I set up an appointment for the next day and show up and they have no idea who the heck I am. Nobody took note of it at all. So they end up getting me in anyways and they take a look at the tire and of course there is no warranty because I am dealing with a dishonest company. They wanted to charge me at $140 for one tire!!!! Good thing I had investigated and found that same tire for about $50. So I tell them that with their supposed price matching and they tell me they cant price match that low... so I just wasted a ton of time.. great. So I went and got my tire fixed elsewhere and after tax it was like 60 and has already worked longer then the tire they wanted to charge me for originally.

So then recently my friend called me and said that he had heard on the radio that there is a recall for my year versa and I should look into it. So I googled it and put my vin number in and it said it was under recall, so I called nissan (not the tim dalle) and they said I would just have to take it to a nissan dealership to get fixed. And they asked when I bought my car so I told them and the lady was like "huh, they would have known about the recall at that time and should have told you for sure" well I should think so! The recall is airbags randomly deploying and then exploding which shoots metal shards at the driver and passenger. And they didn't think that was worth bringing up. So I went out of town for work and my wife decided to be nice and get it fixed for me. So she called Tim Dahle Nissan on Monday and they said to bring the car in for this recall. So they looked it up and told her to bring the car in on Wednesday so they could fix it. So she shows up on Wednesday and they have no clue who she is or why she's there. They don't even have the parts ordered. So they tell her to bring it back Thursday so she asks when the parts will be in and they tell her to be safe they should probably wait until after the later shipment. So she gets scheduled at one and brings it in at one the next day. Once again they have no idea who she is or why she's there but they accept the car this time and tell her they will have it done in 3-4 hours. So 4 house later we call for an update and they say they don't have the parts in but will probably have them tomorrow so now we are just out a car for who knows how long. They also said they were out of rental cars on a lot with probably over 200 cars.

Seriously I want this place to go out of business so badly. It's not just me either.

We had such a great experience with Tim Dahle Nissan this weekend as we purchased our new vehicle. Everyone we worked with was knowledgable , professional, and helpful. We were never pressured, and we felt comfortable and taken care of. The facility was great, and the process was easy and enjoyable. We love our new car! I would highly recommend this dealership and we will definitely be back next time we need a new vehicle.

I'm looking for a used truck and I decided to give Tim Dahle another chance after a horrible experience 2 years ago. Nothing has changed. The first vehicle I looked at smelled and looked like a family of horses had been living in it. The bed was full of mud, grass and animal hair. The cab was dirty and had a bunch of damage and missing switches/buttons. The sales guy was nice enough but seemed clueless.

Dakota was our sales guy , he met us at the front door when we arrived and gave us his full attention. He listened to our needs for what we wanted and our ideas on how we were financially going to afford it. We had a Altima to trade in and walked away with a 2020 pathfinder ! So cool ! Dakota gave the effort to provide a excellent customer experience . I recommend that everyone go to Nissan and ask for Dakota to help you he will Make your day :)

This dealership is a JOKE. Do not pay these guys' salaries.
I brought in my NISSAN that is less than 10 years old to do a trade in. In the middle of the process, they claimed my vehicle's transmission was about to go out, and the highest amount they were going to offer me was $1,800.00 for trade in value.
THIS IS INSANE. They were going to turn around and sell my trade-in for $8k minimum. I've had my transmission serviced every year for 5 years, and had my car at a mechanic 3 weeks ago and they couldn't find a single problem. These men are scammers.

What a great experience!!

What a great experience!!

I almost always buy my new cars online. Checking around, it looked like there were some great deals at Tim Dahle Nissan. I sent in an inquiry to Tim Dahe Nissan, as well as several other dealers, just as I always do. As usual, only a few of the dealers responded, Alan Denner from Tim Dahle was one of the respondents. I discussed my needs with Alan and we talked numbers. I said I would listen to all offers before I decided. I did this in the same manner with all the other salesmen. As usual, you figure out the people that really want to help you buy a car very quickly. Alan Denner wanted to sell a car! It is so pleasant to speak with a motivated, knowledgeable salesman!! Alan worked hard to come up with an acceptable deal for me. We came to terms and the deal was set.

Since we were coming in from 400 miles away, we arranged a meeting time and headed out. I have learned that the reality of the sale may often be different that the initial perception once you arrive. I have encountered changes, excuses, etc. once we are at the dealer. That certainly did not happen here!! Alan was more pleasant in person than he had been on the phone. The truck was ready and detailed, all concerns were addressed, and we left happy, impressed and confident that we had truly been well taken care of. THANK YOU ALAN DENNER! Maybe we can do it again. We certainly will if we get the chance!

Great place to go if you want the runaround. Lots of, "Let me ask my manager" or "Let me talk to the financial guy" while you wait for 20-30 minutes each time just to get basic answers. I expected to go in and test drive a van and even make an offer on it, but after being pulled along for nearly 2 hours it completely turned me off from buying anything from them. The guy said, "buying a car is a 4 hour experience". 4 hours?! Don't waste your time. Absolutely don't leave your keys with them if you are thinking about a trade in. Don't feel bad walking out. They are making you wait as a sales tactic, don't entertain that.

You've been warned! I wouldn't come back if it was the best deal in the world. Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne can't be trusted!! They are the lowest of the low... A crooked dealership who is only in the business of taking your money in the most greedy way possible. Nothing but lies around every corner. Enough said...

The worst experience ever. When I got home the battery was dead and the touchscreen for the air-conditioning and heater did not work. Which was quite obvious that they knew about it ahead of time and still sold it. Refuse to work with us on replacing it. Was an extremely dishonest thing to do.

I came in for an oil change for my 2006 Altima. About 4 days later, my car would not start or hold a charge. The battery was only 37 months old but decided that was the easiest place to start to diagnose the problem. We took the battery to the parts store where I originally bought the battery. They pointed out that the positive terminal had been pressed down (due to trauma) and the bottom of the battery was cracked and there was no fluid in the cell. This was suspicious as Nissan was the only one under my hood. I called and spoke with Andy, the Service Manager and explained what was going on. He pulled the video of the techs working on my vehicle and sent me the video. We both viewed the video and drew different conclusions to whether they were at fault or not. He believed they did not cause the damage. However, Andy offered to pay for my replacement battery as well as cover the cost for the rental car I had to get.

I do think it speaks volumes that even though Tim Dahle did not think they caused the damage that they covered my costs. They were willing to help me out and make sure I had a good experience. It was great working with Andy.

We really enjoyed our experience at Tim Dahle Southtown. They were very helpful not only with looking at different vehicle options but also with our financial options. Stephen was very helpful and tried to be fast when getting our paperwork situated. The facility is awesome even if you have kids, there's a kids playroom that my 3yo enjoyed, free refreshments, vending machines, and clean bathrooms. And all these things you really appreciate when you're at a locations for a few hours.

I have been in there before for brake work, oil changes, etc. and always been pleased. My car kept overheating and so I dropped it off last night and they spent a few hours on it this morning, topped off the coolant and other fluids and didn t charge me anything because they couldn t find any issues. I was sure I would at least get a $100+ service charge but really appreciate the complimentary service! They can be hard to get a hold of, but I haven t worked with a dealership that isn t, so they still get five stars from me!

At the beginning there was a mix up on selling them our nissan titan, someone in finance sent the wrong bank our check for pay off. Ernie was able to get the situation rectified in 24 hrs of contacting him and got the check hand delivered to the correct bank. I use them not only as my nissan dealer but as my parts vendor for my auto repair shop and they are great. would have been 5 stars if we didnt have to wait 11 days for the whole process. thanks again ernie.

I have had several bad experiences with Tim Dahle ...

I have had several bad experiences with Tim Dahle Nissan and will never do business with them again! I have also told my friends and family that if they do business with Tim Dahle Nissan, that I will disown them :)

My wife and i purchased a car from them a year ago, and I'm still bothered about how the deal went. I negotiated the deal with the Salesperson and the Sales Manager until we came up with something that we all thought was fair. I needed to run to a meeting, so I left my wife to sign the final documents. As soon as I left they took advantage of the situation and my wife, and we ended paying much more ($5K+) than I had agreed. I complained the next day, but they said there was nothing they could do. They gave me $300 in credit to console me, but I was still dissatisfied.

Then I took my Nissan in to repair a leak in my power steering, and I thought I'd just use the credits they had given me. Only to find out that half of the credits were Sales Credits, and I could not use all of them in Service. So I ended up paying them cash. To make matters worse, the power steering still leaks as if they didn't do anything...except take my money again.

NEVER AGAIN!

Have you ever made a bet with a kid before?? They say "I want ice cream" and you say "fine I'll get you Ice cream if you finish this whole pizza by yourself". Its impossible you think, that's the point because you don't want them eating Ice Cream. There is no way this kid will finish this whole large pizza by himself. But by some way in hell he/she FINISHES THE WHOLE THING. All you can say is..... "well looks like were getting Ice cream...." in utter disbelief.

I was not in the market for a car, not even close. Just looking. But, Juventino Milano "El Presidente!" and Chase did beyond well. I gave them what I thought would be an impossible and ridiculous payment and by the fury of Thor they brought the deal hammer upon my astounded head with a better trade in price. They are more than willing to work any price as well as they can and bring YOU their years of experience and service with past customers.

The whole buying experience was laid back and it didnt make me feel like I was being shoved into something I wouldnt want. In all I'm loving my new 2014 Nissan Cube and will be telling all of my friends about this fine dealership. Thanks Chase and Juventino. Dama or die btw. lol

I dropped my grandma's truck off due to the tail lights not working. When the appointment was made we were told that they would uber me to work but when I got there I was told I would have to wait awhile for the van so I just ordered an uber myself. Also, at drop off they seemed rushed and just took my keys, first name and phone number. I called later to check on it since not hearing from anyone and sat on hold forever because they couldn't even look me up since they hadn't taken my full name or vehicle info at drop off. Finally the find the vehicle and tell me the lights are working fine. I finally convinced them to check the tail lights and not the brake lights and then they figured out that in fact the tail lights are not working. I ended up paying over $200 for a license plate assembly which they said was causing the problem. I found my own ride over to pick up the vehicle and looking at the Repair Order I see a note about a recall service being performed also so I asked what was the recall on and they didn't know. Then I go out to my grandma's truck and it hasn't been washed. I own a Honda and have worked at a Ford and Acura dealership in the past and all of them have always washed any vehicle in for service so I was disappointed to see that was not washed. Overall disappointed in the way the entire service was handled.

We had come in a couple weeks ago casually looking at the Nissan Leaf. The reason we came back and bought is solely because of Ruben.

During our first visit Ruben didn t put a lot of pressure on us, he didn t try to spout off selling points or try to steer our opinions. He asked thoughtful questions to help us hone in on what we wanted. It was the most pleasant experience I ve had.

When we came back to buy he was very considerate in how he handled the logistics of test driving with two small kids while it was pouring rain.

He even bought me a hat out of his own pocket that I had told him I liked and wanted his boss to throw in.

How about no stars. First off I was very interested in a car they had on their lot but I was waiting on my tax return. I put down $500 to hold the car. Well I had a financial hardship come up and the car was no longer a viable option. I let the salesman Dorian know via email. Then I got no reply from the usual on top of everything salesman. So then I emailed the Manager tyler. He forwarded my email to Mark Ingleby to take car of. I got one phone call that I missed due to being at work but now I can't get a return call so I can get MY MONEY back.

Was looking for a used car/suv. Didn't buy from Tim Dahle since I ended up choosing a used car that wasn't in their inventory, but would absolutely recommend working with Mr Andrew Dunn if you're looking for a Nissan or a used car in their inventory. No pressure or pushy sales tactics, spent quite a lot of time trying out different models that fit my needs himself before I arrived for test drives, knowledgeable of the pros of each vehicle as well as honest about some of the cons (really appreciate that), so overall: pretty great experience even though I didn't end up buying a car there. Anyways, thought I'd leave a review despite not buying since there's a lot of sharks out there and I appreciated having someone actually help me find the right car (a process that can be strenuous aka a pain in the butt) rather than try and push me into something regardless of whether it's really the right car for me.

The sales reps are terrible here. 3 of them are hanging out chatting at the door and were more concerned with their own conversation than selling cars. I came in to purchase a crossover/SUV style car and had the misfortune to interact with Ben (and his passive aggressive attitude). Before I had explained fully what I was looking for the guy told me flat out that they don't have anything close to what I'm looking for, and that was it. Didn't try to suggest anything else similar or help me find what I want. He was very disinterested in me because I'm 22 and he didn't think I had the money for anything. I have $7,000 cash as a down payment and my personal car as a trade in, (he would have known that if he had ASKED) and when I told him roughly how much a month I wanted to spend I was informed that they don't have what I want and that I couldn't afford what they did have. I asked to see 3 different vehicles, was only shown one, told it was too expensive for me and they didn't show me the other vehicles but went back to chat with his sales buddies after pawning me off on someone else to do a follow up. I will NOT be buying here and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant car buying experience.

Back in September 2018, I was overpaying on a Chrysler that I found out was not worth hardly anything due to having a salvage title. Not wanting to spend another penny on it, I decided to stop in at Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne. I told them beforehand that I was interested in a Versa and with a red colour. I test drove a limited edition and ended up with it. One of my smartest decisions.
The salesman, Brian Wagstaff, was very knowledgeable, professional and was not "pushy" as some people say car salesman are. I got more car than I expected and hope others will get out of their "clunkers" and into a a real automobile!
My photo was taken at Fossil Butte National Monument in Wyoming June 23, 2019.

I wish I had read these reviews prior to considering this dealership! Beware of hidden costs and transparency with this dealer! I was shopping for a used car on a budget for a first car for my 16 year old daughter and wasn t told about a 17% NO WORRY FEE until we were closing the deal!! To be clear, this was a $1000 standard fee on a $6000 car. We were there twice to drive the car and neither salesperson told us about the fee, nor was it advertised online. This is a poor business practice! Also, the tire pressure sensor light was on when we test drove the car and the sales person said it was just due to the extreme temperature outside, so after negotiating the $1000 up charge off we drove away thinking we would just have to put air in a tire or two to get the sensor light off, but turns out it s a bad sensor and the dealership would not take responsibility for it even though I called them to report it within an hour of driving off the lot. I would NOT recommend buying from this dealer. It s NOT worth the time and trouble!

DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR NISSAN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Never work with Tim Dahle Nissan again! Worst customer service experience of my life! Bought a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder and did ALL maintenance and service through this dealership and the motor blew with only 111K miles on the motor. Was charged $1800 over the original quote (Almost $10k to replace the motor and exhaust!) more than originally quoted and it took over 6 weeks to get my vehicle back! I asked my service advisor that I worked with for over a decade JD to help, nothing, the service writer Scott is absolutely worthless, never following through on any of his commitments. I asked for the service manager to call me back, nothing, I even asked the owner Tyler Slade to call me back, crickets! DO NOT BUY A CAR OR GET IT SERVICED FROM THIS JUNK SHOW OF A DEALER!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Stay away! These people are thieves. They post a used car for a price, drive the he'll out of it while its listed (and add 2500 miles), smoke in it and then refuse to negotiate. If you come back another day to talk to a "senior" sales member he'll tack on thousands of dollars because he thinks he can. The situation felt like the comedic used car experience in the movies. We just got up and walked away. If you want a good used car go to CarMax. The CarMax folks are honest, friendly, and professional. It took a few weeks because our car had to be shipped here but we bought the same year, model, trim level, and color Infinity from CarMax for 4000 less than the thieves at Tim Dahle wanted to charge us. Oh, and there was no drama. I've purchased 3 cars from Tim Dahle over the years. I don't know what has come over them but I'll not purchase from them again.

I like this dealership and I like that you can sit in comfortable couches and have some soda and then have some more. I have been treated well by them and I often will find a bargain on the website for service.
