Ticket King Review

I bought two tickets for a concert, and was contacted by someone at Ticket King, via phone, a few hours later. She told me that those tickets weren't available anymore. I said, "What do you mean? I clicked on the tickets, paid for them, and received a confirmation email." She told me that the seller should have taken the tickets off of the website two days prior to that, as they were already sold. She said, "Our website doesn't actually show which tickets are available." What?!? That doesn't make any sense.

I had a worse experience buying tickets on Stub Hub after that. It took them 8 days to reimburse me for fraudulent tickets. People are buying tickets from the venue, and then reselling them again and again...the pair I bought was resold over 8 times, so I didn't get in to see my concert. Buyer beware: do not buy 2nd hand tickets anywhere anymore. The venue said it happens all of the time. Terrible experience!

I bought tickets through them and then had problems receiving them in my email. After following all of their steps to try to get the tickets before the event, I still didn't have tickets and had to buy new ones. Now I am trying to hassle with a refund that I still don't have! They have been terrible!

Four weeks later - I have to admit, that I have been very surprised and happy with their response, finally. They recognized that they made a mistake and have refunded my problem. It took some time and patience, but my issue was resolved.

I refused to even give this company one star, but it made me. I called immediately after purchasing tickets for an event (Circus) in 2 hours. I made a mistake and ordered them for the wrong city. That city is 5 hours away from me. The associate was sweet, but informed me nothing could be done unless I wanted to pay $50 more for tickets by my city because that is all that is left OR I should sell them myself... In less than two hours.... I asked to speak with the manager ("Nicole" - who apparently is the "Highest Superior" of the whole company) was extremely nasty from the start for no reason, especially considering I was being nice and practically in tears. They wouldn't even give me a credit to buy tickets for something else at a later date. After desperately trying to get a refund I settled on paying $50 more, now let's see.... That is $135 for 2 tickets to the Circus, "Nicole" told me that option was no longer available. That place is a SCAM. They will steal your money. THEY ARE RUDE AND THE ESTABLISHMENT IS A JOKE.

Don't Don"t buy tickets from t Ticket King. They Are as bad as people say on on comments!!!!Say yourself from the headache!!!!! I would too put 0 star if I could. They have no customer services skills!!!!!!

We purchased tickets for the Def Leppard concert on July 27th. As I'm in the office, I am emailed the receipt that I had purchased the tickets. Ticket King said they'd email me the tickets. We went to Target Field and hadn't received the tickets. I called and the place was closed. We ended up scalping another set of tickets. I emailed customer service and they were quick to get back and sent a copy of the email that was sent along with the tickets. I was already inside the stadium and they said they can't refund me the money. The issue I have is that I never received the original email with the tickets! I'm not out to scam anyone so I was hoping they'd take my word for it that I never received the email. It's not in my junk mail, I didn't accidentally delete it either. Other than their response of not supporting their customer, they were very nice people. (Update: Ticket King reimbursed me today for the tickets so I appreciate them working with me.)

So your company accumulates lots of tickets for the Free MLB All-Star Concert w/ Imagine Dragons and try to make a buck off the general public, especially when its supposed to be a free show. I think you need to do more than give away a free pair. Your company needs to ashamed, but all you care about is greed.

They are a rip off. Not just because it's resale but these people are scam artists. Plus, your gonna get hit with a surprise charge that's not included in the price. AVOID!!!

Got Two 85 dollar tickets for $700!!
Do not buy from them. Have a whole lists of documents to upload but will not allow here. The tickets later I checked were selling on the day of the event for 85 dollars. Called them- final sale- nothing they can do.

I bought Justin Bieber tickets for my girlfriends birthday/Christmas present. They called me 6 hours later to tell me the seats were already sold and offered me tickets in the nose bleeds for the same price. They shouldn't sell tickets that they have already sold to someone else! If I had known, I would have tried to get better seats. They didn't even offer a discount for screwing up my purchase!

Total scam. It was my fault for not double checking on ticketmaster for what tickets were selling for there. The face value of mine were $26.50 + $10.65 for fees + free will call. What I paid for them was $41.00 + $23.78 service fees + $15 shipping (for an envelope?!). Total rip off. Do not buy tickets here. Ticketmaster is so much better.

Paid more than DOUBLE per ticket than people seated around us. $177 loss. They wouldn't do anything about it! Please file a complaint with the BBB if you get ripped off by this company!

Was so excited to go to pre all star game for $16. I bought the ticket saturday night. Come monday morning I get a phone call from Julie saying my ticket was no longer available. But the funny thing is there were tickets to the same event at 65 bucks. What a ripoff. Their excuse, the seller no longer had them.

What a scam. I ordered tix through Ticket King MN for a comedy show. Face value was $39. Days later I see a charge of $80 on my credit card. I call them and they tell me I bought the ticket through their website but it was sold by a 3rd party and they charged me above face value. Apparently that's ok? LOL Last time I ordered tix through a website other than ticketmaster or directly at the venue.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. If I could rate a negative number I would.

In short, I know they run a legalized ticket scalping business.

I however, am not okay with paying extra for not reading through the lines of their misleading deceitful advertising.

They have tickets to everything. You'll never have to miss a game or show if you check in with them.

I got tickets through Ticket King MN for the Timberwolves game the other week and it was such a great experience! I knew I wanted to sit somewhere near center court and they had several affordable options available. I spoke with a woman named Abby who listed off several options for the game. Within minutes of purchasing my tickets I was emailed all of the detailed information about my purchase. The whole process was about 10 minutes. I will definitely be using them in the future! Nice to be able to support a local business too!

Ticket King is TERRIBLE from start to finish. How they handled the distribution of FREE tickets to rap duo Atmosphere's MPLS concert could be a case study on how ticket brokers are RUINING the entertainment business. This concert was meant to be a celebration-a FREE night of outdoor music and all Ticket King saw was an easy way to make a buck. I understand that they are legally within their rights and yes, I know that this is AMERICA, but anyone whose ever wanted to see a great concert knows that this is not okay and the artists deserve better.

Friends and family have used Ticket King for many Events. Very helpful staff - offering many different options. Love working with your Team and it is great to support a local business.

The total price they quote online will not be close to the final price. You get a 'final price' in your invoice , but in small print, they note that they don't know the stadium taxes, even if it is local show. It just shows up on your credit card. It's is bait and switch. I really want an alternative to TM, but this shiester won't do
