Awesome long running Chicago chain know for hot dogs and more! Excellent food, very popular and always busy! Lines move quickly so don't let that stop you from checking them out! Great for lunch or dinner! Cool decor, definitely check them out if in the area! Friendly staff also.

Wished they offered their chocolate cake as a half cake and not whole:( Also, Why don't they offer a law enforcement or Veteran's discount?

My favorite Is the big beef dip extra wet with cheddar cheese hot and sweet peppers and an extra cheese cup. Very delicious!

What can I say, Portillo's is a gold mine not only for the owners but for the people that eat there. Everything is good at Portillo's including its sidekick barnellis.

It was not as good as I was hoping. Food was served hot, but mine was not as flavorful as the menu-board description.

Always love me some Portillos. This is the one that started it all and they live up to their name.

Food is really good. Sometimes you have to wait for a while. Prices were a little expensive.

Slowest drive thru ever. Been in line over 10 minutes. Still in line waiting now. They have always been slowbevery time I've been here. I figured I'd give them a few chances. Don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon.

Amazing, authentic Chicago Hot Dogs! Very casual, diner type appearance inside. All the food is great, love the atmosphere as well.

I come in here all the time. This Portillos has the nicest staff. The food and great and you get greeted by wonderful people.

The Italian Beef here is like a Chicago staple. Haven't had a bad Beef yet!

Lines are long every day, you be the judge whether it is worth the wait.

I honestly enjoy everything on their menu. If you've never been to a Portillo's, it's time to try it. Very consistent product no matter which location you go to. And the beef...I order mine dipped with hot giardinera. Add an order of rings or cheese fries to finish it off. And don't forget your chocolate cake, which you can always eat the next day for breakfast with a glass of cold milk! Not that I've ever done it...

If you get coleslaw from this place it looks like someone has already eaten it ist 1/4 filled go to blomningdale its full

The flounder sandwich and the strawberry shortcake to die for...

Beefs are not as good as they use to be. Came from Texas.

Had combo beef/sausage dry and fries. Fries were kind of cool, exchanged them for hot fries. Wife had hot dog and we got lemon cake slice to eat later at home. Very good overall.

One of the better portillos locations. Vlean, quiet, not overly crowded. Food was good and fresh.

I ordered an Italian beef dipped cut in half w cheese it was the way I ordered but for the price I expected to at least be able to taste the cheese skimpy for a $10 beef n drink down the street I could have gotten a beef fried n a drink for the same price and it would have been double the size.

Decided to give this portillo's a try and I was impressed with how fast and fresh the food came out. Best part was at the end when an employee said here ya go boss have a good one. I sure will be coming back to this place more than others. Chocolate cake is the reason to come to portillo's.

Awesome food, can be a little hectic during lunch and dinner hours. Don t go here if you want a quiet environment.

I had stopped here for lunch but I had to use the bathroom before hand. So as I m using the bathroom, an employee comes in, sees my feet and still shuts off the lights.

They disappoint me every time I order from this location.

Stopped in for a quick bite on the way to Addison Ice Rink. This location is much smaller than other locations, but still a solid portillo's. The staff was very friendly and it was nice and clean. We will stop in again when we are back in the area.

Poor service at this location. When I arrived the place was empty and thought this is great because I always have to wait in long lines. Unfortunately, the cashier wasn t at her station and we had to wait anyways. So someone else took my order and messed it all up. My beef had no cheese or sweet peppers. When I approached the pick up counter the server got upset and was rude to me and I didn t get a thanks. This location needs to train their employees more.

Do not eat in. No restaurant employee is monitoring the public, thus you have a large number of people walking about the restaurant without masks on, instead of using common sense and only taking their masks off when they're seated at the table.

Horrible....went for lunch...still waiting for food 45 minutes and counting...

Food is very good most of the time. Everyone I interact with was polite. Seems like the drive through at this portillo's is slower than the others.
