I stopped by with my HD on a trailer to have it looked at, the service department was not busy at all but they did not acknowledge or offer any assistance or service it was like I wasn't even there.
There were several employees standing around talking in the clothing department but could not find the time to help me find anything or try on boots. I waited forever at check out to purchase a few items but they very rude & definitely not customer orientated so I left without buying anything much less having done to the bike.

A HD dealership, again, prices are what they are. Great place for tire replacement, and very basic services. I had an engine replaced here a year ago and still are tightening screws for oil leaks.
Be forewarned, don't let them wash your bike after an oil change, you will have to do it again when you get it home. Lots of turnovers.

Spoke to Spence over the phone regarding several questions and it what a great experience. He did not make me feel like I was being rushed and he answered every one of my question with precise answers. I purchased my ride from here and I will keep on coming back. Every time I have spoke with someone over the phone or in person at the dealership, it has been a great experience. Thank you all at Thunder Tower Harley Davidson

Maybe its just me never have a good experience dealing with this dealership. This time I scheduled an appointment to get my bike looked at for possible warranty work. When I explained the issue I was given the run around blaming it on another dealership. From then on I was ignored while he helped other customers. Never again.

I visit thunder tower west frequently and there was no contest in customer service with the exception of one young lady. I cant wait to see Gene (owner) to give a status report on his staff. They were not rude, they just were not helpful either. The prices of the merchandise would be the only reason I would return.

No one spoke or greeted me upon entering the store. There are no prices on any of the bikes. The parts counter was extremely helpful in answering my questions. This is my third Harley. I have been into many HD showrooms, this is one of the very most unfriendly, apathetic stores i have been to.

I had a pleasurable experience with my salesman Jimmy Bass and staff at TTHD. I was taken care of the moment I walked into the store. I finally bought my dream bike and left as happy camper. I am their customer for life. Thank you TTHD. I wish you all the best.

Went to get tube put in my front tire. They first told me because of the nature of my flat that I would have to sign a waver. I totally understand stand that. But then they declined to fix it after I agreed to sign the waver. The long haired shop manager has a loud mouth. I overheard his smart comment about me going to a parts store and buy an inner tube and fix it myself. He was saying that to his coworkers. Which not that y'all care. I'll never buy a damn thing there again because of the smart mouth hippie shop manager.

Will never return to this Harley! The staff only cares about your money and what you re going to buy! They only want to talk to you once they are confident your buying a Harley! They will bash you and your friends if God for bid you don t own a Harley or shop somewhere else! The parts manager and the repair manager were very rude and condescending. The sales staff was extremely pushy and unwilling to take anytime to help you. To give an example the salesman was so concerned with making sure the other staff members knew I was working with him. They put his name and information for the class (student) instead of my own! They even had a welcome board with all the students on it except mine as it had been replaced with the salesman s name! Very limited product selection. Way over priced! The class instructors are rude, pushy, obnoxious, unprofessional, unorganized, and rush through all instructions! Go anywhere else but here! You will waste your time and money. Very frustrating experience. I understand why people hate Harley and Harley owners! Such a disappointment.

I stopped for a question about something they have never seen and probably never will. Without hesitation they did everything possible to help me out. Unfortunately they could not, which was expected, yet did everything possible to try and deliver the impossible!

Very poor service from shon there. Applied to get a bike not once we're we told there was a sale pending on the motorcycle. We called numerous times also left him a voice mail and never got a call back. A month later we received a email saying sorry the bike was sold. Any other professional salesman would had told you there is a sale pending on that item and would had tried to show us something similar to that bike or that price range but no common courtesy and no professional drive for a sale.

Incredible dealership. They got me a great price the first time no haggling. I tried another dealership to compare and they didn t even have half the interest in answering my questions. They ordered parts for me and had them mailed to my house so I didn t have to come all the way back to pick them up at no cost to me! Great customer service.

I was treated pretty poorly when I dropped off my bike for work. I would call to check on progress of the work and no one would call me back. Left messages on their voicemail, talked to people in the department and was told that they would check and call back; never happened. Even inquired with their online guy and still no response even after the online guy stated he "escalated" the request for information. This went on for two plus weeks!

My wife and I went in today to buy some chrome accessories while we were standing in line at parts to pay the parts associate told us after 15 minutes I will be with you folks in a minute we said ok thank you.We notice a gentleman standing by counter after he was being helped by a service associate the parts guy walked off and came back and never acknowledged us again he went ahead and helped his buddy first I looked and my wife and said some chosen words put our parts back and walked out haven't been to thunder tower in a while after today I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL NEVER SUGGEST TO ANY ONE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE !!!Sales associate was very nice and greeted us when we left he ask what was going on he wanted to help but unfortunately there was nothing he could do and we understood that aspect sales may be alot better than parts associates you can't do people like that if you want people spreading good words about your place of business

I wanted to get my first bike. My wife was opposed to the idea so we agreed that if I took the safety class and still wanted one then it would be okay. This class is "0" % centered around your safety and 100% about selling bikes and accessories! Its a 4 day course the first day is about the history of Harley's and show you there bikes and accessories "0" information about riding or safety. Friday was class then your training was on a Buellb Blast in which you never get out of second gear nor on the road! On Sunday afternoon they start giving DMV testing "everyone passes" one guy laid his bike down three times over the weekend his elbows were bloody he had no business on a bike he passed! He had already bought a bike and was horrified of it he told me he wasn't taking past his yard. I witnessed a girl lay her bike down during her DMV test "which is an automatic fail! The even had to get another bike to finish the test, she passed! After I was done I bought Softtail once we were done they were closing so they rolled the bike out and locked the doors! No offer to help get it home! That's when the contstruction was on the highway and luckily I had a trailer to come get it remember I had never rode a bike! What's funny the guy who gave the class was a personal injury attorney!

Beautiful dealership, but incredibly rude softlines employees. We rode 1.75 hrs to Thunder Tower HD because we like to ride to dealerships and get shirts or other goods. My husband and I were joined by a friend who just got his first Harley two months ago. My friend was checking out some sale shirts that were priced 3/$60. The shirts were informally wrapped in shopping bags with tags stapled to them. My friend opened one of the bags to feel the material of a shirt. A female cashier in the clothing section rudely snapped at him that he couldn't do that. My husband and I put back the $180 in merchandise we had in our hands and we all walked out the door, never to return. Highly recommend Riding High Harley Davidson in Greensboro, NC. We can't stop spending money in that store because they have top notch staff who are happy to open packages or boxes to let you check out the merchandise.

This is a great place for 1st time Harley Prospects that want to learn how to ride motorcycles the right way, all the way up to the proficient rider that may need to brush up on their skills. I now own and ride a 2008 Dyna LowRider (Anniversary Model). My sister and I decided that we would add motorcycle riding to our bucket list in honoring a lost family member this year! Putting the cart before the horse, we purchased our bikes first, and then we focused on learning when technically it should be the other way around. I found the course to be challenging, but not difficult, and the one thing I will point out for those like myself that have never ridden a Harley before is to please "get out of your own way". I stayed in my head because I didn't think I could do it, and I was allowing my fear control me! For people like us, you have to come to a place where that is understood, and chastised gently! My first set of coaches were Steve & Debbie Spinks (You will find a video of Debbie introducing the Riding Academy beginners class on the website). They are some of the coolest, sweetest, and most knowledgeable coaches I've experienced while learning. They have a style that makes it fun, takes the pressure off, but keeps you focus on what you are trying to accomplish with the course. I failed the 1st half of the course because of my nerves. Yet, I have never passed any test in my life 1st try, so failing didn't kill my ego, but out of twelve students I was the only one that failed, and well that part did hurt, but I was okay because my coaches allowed me to finish the balance of the course with dignity and respect! I celebrated my sister and the class, and signed up immediately when it became available for the next retest. During my retest, my 1st set of coaches were present, but the remedial re-test was offered by another set of awesome spirits named Brad and Terri! Brad was very personable and made everyone feel comfortable as if he knew we all suffered from testing anxiety! My coaches Steve and Debbie were there for the purposes of Harley Davidson training, but also their to support their student (me) which I thought was amazing!! I passed the course missing 100% accuracy by 6 points! I felt so good! Made my coaches and sister proud! My one rule to myself was I wasn't going to give up! When I am on my bike, I feel as though I was born to ride! I didn't give up in-between classes, and I had dropped my own bike twice before the retest trying the different practice runs as my 1st set of coaches had instructed, driving in the rain, and practicing consistently with my sister who was just an overflowing bucket of support, I passed! You have to be willing to fail in order to succeed! Coach Terri told me in the remedial course that she was not going to let me sabotage by not seeming confident while riding like a PRO during the class, and I am so grateful for that quick counseling, because even-though I've got a long way to go to proficiency, I now FEEL like I AM just that, A PRO! Shout out to Ms. Tammy, Steve & Debbie Spinks, Brad & Terri! I will get the hours I need under my belt, so that I can visit again for the more advance courses! God Bless!

I received the worst, substandard service I have ever receieved, ever, in any automobile or motorcycle dealership I have ever been to; and I have been driving since 1975.
1st and foremost. I had a 52 point appointment scheduled for 1 P.M. on Sunday 10/26. I arrived at 1235 and my bike was taken in right away. I was told the day prior, that it would only take an hour for the service and that the price included an oil change. When I arrived, it was explained that this was not the case but the service manager worked it out with me. I went accross the road to Quaker State and ate lunch and returned at 3:00 P.M. only to see my bike was not ready. After the young lady explained to me the faults of my bike during the inspection, I told her I was ready to go and she stated the oil change had been completed and that she would have my bike taken off the rack. After waiting much longer, I observed through the service glass doors only to see 2 gentlemen, still working on the bike and they finally got it off the rack. Then to my horror I watched them slide an oil pan under the bike and they drained the oil while it sat on the ground. So, the young lady was incorrect, my bike was not ready to go. After adding oil to my bike, and the oil filter did not appear to have been changed it was taken on a test drive and returned to the service department floor. Once I got a first glimpse of the bike, I told the young lady at the counter "so, we do a walk through before my bike goes into the shop looking for scratches and you expect me to receive my bike looking like this?" She asked me what the issue was and I proceeded to show her that the bike was covered with oil smudges all over the motorcycle, oil on the seat and the motorcycle was cleaner when I brought it in. I would expect it to return the way I brought it in. She stated "a wash comes with the the 52 point but you wanted your bike right away." I stated "that is not what you told me earlier", you said it would be extra to wash the bike!" I then proceeded to state that "you really are going to return the bike looking like this?" She went and got the service manager who smuggly returned with a rag and did a shitty job whiping down the bike. He actually scratched the bike more than cleaned it. Honestly, I cannot believe the service I received from your dealership today and I still cant believe the condition your staff rolled out my bike and "expected" me to ride away with. WHAT A JOKE!

ONLY REASON I WOULD BUY IS BECAUSE THE SALESPERSON DAVID. DAVID IS AN AMAZING GUY THAT GOES WAY FAR AND BEYOND. IN LUXURY VEHICLE SALES I KNOW CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HE HAS IT. OTHER THEN THAT THE FINANCE GUY IS ONE OF THE RUDDEST PEOPLE IVE EVER DEALT WITH IN THE BUSINESS. DIDNT WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION AND BASICALLY HAS COST DAVID AND THE DEALERSHIP A PURCHASE. I HAVE PURCHASED A BIKE BEFORE AND HAD ISSUES WITH HOW MY DEAL WAS WRITTEN BUT I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES. NOW GOING FOR THE SECOND TIME AND UNFORTUNATLY WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THE OWNERS ARE GREAT PEOPLE AND DAVID THE SALESMAN IS ALSO. THIS GO AROUND WONT BUY A BIKE FROM THEM MAYBER THE NEXT GO AROUND.
