I am of this regional chain, where you are able to get fish, salad, and a glass of wine at a reasonable price. That's not always easy to find on a road trip.

Very good! Our waitress, Songin? (I forgot how to spell it!), was very friendly and personable. She made us feel right at home.
We got the bison meatloaf and the chicken/bacon/brussel fettuccine for dinner and the cheesecake for dessert. It was all delicious!
A perfectly relaxing evening.

Best food I have had in a while. Will definitely be back!
You have to try the cheese curds with the raspberry sauce! Yum! And their flatbreads are great as well!

May 4, 2019 We were driving home to Spring Valley IL after riding a bicycle trail at Roscoe IL and stopped for lunch around 2:30. We waited several minutes to be ackowledged and seated because no one was at the front desk. Once we were seated our waitress, Brenda took good care of us. She had a big group in front of us, but she kept us informed. Our food arrived quicker than we anticipated which was a plus. The seafood jumbalaya and salmon fresca was delicious. Of course we had dessert. Brenda continued to take good care of us after our food arrived.

All 3 of our meals were awful this time around. Unfortunately, We don't be back.

This place has a great Sunday brunch. Great selection of food. Everything was so good. I would definitely come again.

Had the coconut shrimp appetizer, they were really good. Had the drunken beef tips and they were amazing. Great waitress. Very happy

Food and drinks were delicous!! They needed more help service was a little slow.

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was pretty good. I had a cocktail and it was the size of two and I couldn't finish it. I could see the cocktails being half the size and price.

Shepards pie, i could have bought dinty moore and microwave mashed potatoes and had a better meal.. flavorless potatoes and old soup kitchen meat slop.. worst decision

The best Easter brunch anywhere! Bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict AND an omelet station, salad bar, shrimp and smoked salmon, carving station, pasta station, dinner foods, fresh fruit, sweets, fresh waffles with fruit toppings and whipped cream. The only thing I missed this year were their fabulous sticky buns : (

It was definitely an interesting dining experience. The different variety of tapas to choose from was my favorite most of all. I just didn't know which ones to choose from. Worth coming here but it is a bit costly.

Amazing Easter Brunch and the Waitress we had totally rocked! Our drinks and clean plates never ran out! Servers at all the food stations were professional and super friendly. The omelet bar was fabulous! Thank you for making Easter lunch with my family drama free and enjoyable.

I wanted seafood so when I searched, this popped up with good reviews. Well, here's another good one. We went for lunch so I'm not sure if these are available for dinner. We ordered a salmon BLT and a fish (cod?) sandwich. Both were delicious. The only thing I didn't like about the BLT was the bread. It came on a whole grain wheat bread and I would've preferred it on white. As an appetizer we had lobster or crab Rangoon and it was great. The price is only for 6 very small pieces which I didn't think was fair. Other than that, service was great. It's big enough for multiple parties at one time and although I haven't tried it yet, they seem to have a really good brunch.

Thunder Bay is my favorite place for the brunch on Sundays it is where we had my brothers memorial and the restaurant is just beautiful the decor is awesome and the breakfast brunch is out of this world the staff there were very accommodating to my family and we greatly appreciate the way that they went out of their way in above to accommodate our needs for my brothers memorial I thank you so much Sundar Bay my brother Ben would have loved it and your food is awesome Sunday brunch you can't beat it

My family and I went for the Sunday Brunch, it was delicious and worth the cost. $14.99 per person. Staff was wonderful too. Great service. Overall highly recommended!!!

Tasty, upscale comfort food with great service and atmosphere!

Good food reasonably priced. Had shrimp jambalaya. Wife had prime rib. Both were tasty. Service was fast. Nice wilderness lodge look on the inside. High ceiling seemed to help dissipate noise. Easy to converse in the restaurant. I'll consider for entertaining friends and relatives when they visit.

Everything we ordered was very salty. The calamari appetizer was all breading and very little calamari. While ordering the ribeye and medallion trio they offered us a side salad, parmesan crust and mushroom medley, the server never said that all the add on s had an up-charge ($8/person in up-charges!!!) This place was a rip off, will never come back.

Place was very nice, inside was beautiful, food was really good and reasonable priced. My only wth was I had to ask for the table dinner rolls. After watching several tables be served with them. We will go back again

Nice atmosphere, cozy lighting in the booth at dinner time. We had the crawfish rangoons and cheese filled mushroom caps for starters and both were really good. My husband ordered the 16 oz Ribeye and it arrived just as he ordered. I ordered the Beef tenderloin medallions, the blue cheese crusted was my favorite. The rosemary roasted potatoes are great as well.

Sunday buffet brunch is really good when it's busy so everything is fresh.

Service was excellent. Food pairings were very playful, unique and rich in flavor.
Caesar salad is authentic with anchovies. I couldnt stop eating it.
I will definitely be back, considering its in the middle of tourist trap portion of Rockford i was surprised how good it was.
Nice rustic interior, and clean atmosphere. Has full bar as well.

Welcome this restaurant back! They are doing social distancing and masking and everything we ordered was so delicious. Coconut shrimp, peppercorn crusted salmon salad with goat cheese and crostini and beer batter shrimp. Waitstaff very friendly. Highly recommend.

Cat was outstanding. She called me and my mother miss and ladies until she saw my CC and presumed to call me by name. Her Timing, conversation, and manners were impeccable. Would recommend her any time. The seafood fondue is amazing very hearty, we even got a Togo container and an extra loaf of bread for only $1.99. We went out on a limb and shared the bison meatloaf sandwich which was awesome. We upgraded to the sweet potato fries that had a mild honey mustard sauce with them. We didn t care for the fries (and that s ok). Next time we will have chips. But all in all we had a great experience. Cat even gave my baby Oreos at the end. We will definitely return soon and be asking for Cat. Also try the warm goat cheese salad. I wanted to step out and try something different this time but it s extraordinary. Ps... you re welcome!

Great food, quality service. They have a nice selection and the all the food I've tried is pretty good. Especially for the price. The dinnertime service pace is a little slower but it is made up for in the quality.

Was there for 50th HS graduati3 reunion, nice atmosphere, servers were friendly and close by if needed

Sunday brunch was delicious. Lots of choices.Even for vegitarians. Omelet bar. Employees were friendly and accommodating.

Used to love this place, but last time we went there we were disappointed by changes to the menu and staff. Haven't been back since. Food was ok, but not worth the price or travel to the corner of the city.

I have been here on my last few visits to Rockford. Good menu with a focus on steaks and fish. Friendly staff and convenient location. There is a very friendly feel here.

Excellent selection of menu choices. Tapas were very good as was the Delmonico steak. Recommended for any travelers staying in the surrounding cluster of hotels, most within walking distance.
The baked potato was superb and the side salad was as good as you'll find anywhere.
Fair prices and rustic woodsy atmosphere also a pleasant attribute.

Love this place. Excellent food and service. Seafood here is amazing. Be sure to try the Smoked Bison Meatloaf. It is so scrumptious! Great place for date night. Highly recommended!

The buffet was good. Nice place for a gathering of friends or family.

Service was awesome. ... I ordered the fish taco and the chicken taco as an app. The both were very tasty. For dinner I ordered the drunken beef tips. They were very good the sauce was very good. The tossed salad was fresh. Would go back again.

So I came here for lunch with a group of other women that made the choice to come her not me. The last time I was there it had a not very pleasant smell and our food was terrible. I walk in and it still has that pinesol smell that seems to be covering some other smell. I don't like that at all. It immediately turns me off. However the service was good and everyone liked their food. Stuffed mushrooms were delicious, salad was fresh, flat bread looked good although I did not have a piece. I guess I would give it another try.

I know everything is shut down, but I had the perfect outdoor dining experience. Service was top notch. I'd say "very well trained staff", but that doesn't come close to giving enough credit to the front of house employees. Dinner was well prepared and generous portions that were completely unexpected. Great value for the money. Thanks!

Nice for party's the ice could have been cleaned a little better outside.

I was not prepared for how amazing the food, service and atmosphere would be. Our Waitress Songul had impeccable timing and knew exactly what we wanted before we asked. The plates were beautiful and aromatic. That added to the quiet dining atmosphere next to a crackling fireplace made this a real memory.

Food was okay, process were good but service was awkward.

Last time we went I was wheelchair bound and they put me at a table at the back of the room, then put 2 large parties around me so I could not go anywhere without inconveniently having everyone to get out of my way-

This is a favorite go-to place for either a quick bite or nice dinner. Pricing is fair for the quality of the meals... LOVE the seafood fondue!

They have a wonderful breakfast/ lunch buffet... All you could ever want
