Very easy and professional staff when buying new car.

Shady business practices, specifically regarding their service department! I had one of my staff bring in our company vehicle for an oil change. With them fully knowing that she had no idea about car maintenance, they coerced her into signing a work order that included a charge for $200 for a wheel alignment. This is a brand new vehicle with 6000km on it. They didn't even test drive the vehicle so how that figured that the wheels were in need of an alignment is beyond me. Needless to say, we will never be doing business with this dealership again and I would strongly advise that you do the same.

Bought my car here with a 5 year warranty. My engine started burning oil within 4 years. I've come to them with this issue they have strated an oil consumption test. This procedure takes 10 minutes (at other shops). The initial test took around 3 hours. And I've been told to come to 6 subsequent tests, every 1000 km. I've been here every other week, and never spent less than one hour here. Most times it was more than an hour and a half. And for my last test I've been told they're jammed - I've been waiting for an hour and a half and then I've been told I'll be spending another hour in their waiting room. I would have scheduled the test for another day- but there is no guarantee my car would make it. I wish I chose a different manufacturer. Or at least a different service location. I am currently very frustrated since last time I waited for 45 minutes before I was even spoken to. Those who wrote that it's a great place to service your car must have had a very different experience.
To add to it, I've also been told that it's a whole procedure dealing with the issue after the test ha's been competed. Really not looking forward to many more encounters. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

By the way, I would love to get a response to my review. I noticed they only respond to good reviews!

just went in 4:30pm On friday July 8 2016 watch out for the the reception guy that just stares at you. When you tell him your A/C isn't working from North Bay to Toronto, he follows you to your car to tell you the A/C is working. Then when my kids and wife are telling him noo.. the A/C isn't working! he goes and gets someone else that tells him we are correct when you ask to see a Manager he just stares. He is an Asain male slightly overweight extremely rude to customers just called HYUNDAI head office they can't do anything. This is a no star !!!!!!! This is my last Hyundai Don't go here second vehicle same service.# ThornhillHyundai Its my fault !!!

I would definitely not recommend Thornhill Hyundai. The advertising they have for their cars online is, at best, misleading and is just a hook to get you in at any cost. We found a 2019 Tucson - Ultimate on their website that was stated to have 1500km for a price that couldn't be beat - too good to be true. I called them three times to make sure that we would not be driving the 3 hours drive to Toronto for nothing, confirming the pricing and the actual car was on the lot with the actual mileage. The lady even told me that they put 1500 in the system because they don't want people to be upset when they arrive, and see that the car had been used for test drive. She checked in her system and confirmed that the car had 13km and was on the lot. Upon arriving for our 9am appointment - after a 3 hours drive, we were told that the person we were supposed to meet was schedule to work at 1pm that day, and above all, she was driving the actual Tucson that was advertised online. When we sat down to discuss the details, this new salesperson announced to us that the car we had inquired about had 11,000km on it, not 1500km as advertised. What an unprofessional service... Very disappointed in the staff who seemingly do not know very much about their cars. What's even worse is that in the afternoon, they called us to ask us if we were coming to our appointment that day. They seemingly did not even know who we were in the first place when we showed up in the morning, even after giving our names, showing email confirmations. We ended up buying our Tucson somewhere else where we were actually treated like respectable people.

I went for a service recall as per scheduled slot. The service center did not agree to service. The slot was given by Thornhill Hyundai. Just wasted 2 hours in travelling back and forth.

I leased my first car from this location and it was 100% a great experience. Frank K and Faizel helped me through the process. They were very helpful and tried their best to provide me with what I was looking for. Faizel was very responsive, I sent him couple of emails afterward and he always got back to me ASAP. When I went back to pick up the car it was raining but Frank K described all different features of the car to me while I was sitting inside and he was standing outside of the car in the rain. It was such an amazing experience and they offered me the best possible options. I highly recommend this location.

We had the best experience at Thornhill Hyundai. After visiting several other dealerships we were worn out and tired other dealerships were either too pushy or not interested enough to help. Our sales team was Mevlut (Sales Consultant), Ahmed (Finance Manager) and Fort (General Manager). We had made an appointment to see a sales rep and they set us up with someone but he was busy with a customer at the time so Mevlut took care of us. And it was such a blessing! He was so laid back, knowledgeable, easy going, super friendly and low pressure. He made the transition from my older Elantra to my new Kona a breeze. Best of all, all 3 of them worked together to set us up with so many perks, we couldn t resist. It was such a great deal. Even after the deal was made, Mevlut threw in a few extras for us on delivery day to make sure that when we drove away we were extra happy : ) The delivery was so smooth and we couldn t be happier with our car. Shout out to Ahmed who was very helpful and transparent with the finance process and streamlined all the paperwork for us. Would highly recommend Hyundai (haven t left the brand since 2003) and this dealership in particular, of course . We are so happy with our Hyundai Kona 2021.

Cheaters..

I purchased Brand new Santa Fe from this dealership in 2017 and few accessories worth $1000 were added on the invoice as part of the purchase deal however I realized later that this accessories were not installed nor I was informed about the same. When I contacted sales manager Afsheen about the same she stated the items are back ordered so they don t have those items in stock and she promised she will contact when those items are available. It s been almost 3 yrs and still it remains unresolved. I contacted dealership via email again 2 days back with their General Manager in CC but no response so far.

So basically they cheated me and not sure how many other customers have gone through the same thing.

The sales person Jeorge Jiao was a very friendly guy unlike the other sales I met in different dealers always push the customers uncomfortably. He has been very patient with me each time from arranging the test drive on the first day till the last weekend he picked me up from my house to his office to pick my new car. I am strongly recommend you NOT to go there for any services. They are charming to sale you a car and tell you to buy extra protection. When the time comes and you ask them, they Don t even humor there own signature and stamp.
They provide very poor customer service and they don t try to build trust and customer relationship.

First time buying a car and Irene was incredible! She was very patient when I had several questions. She would always answer, and clarify everything so I was always sure of what I was looking at when it came to pricing, deals, and overall everything at the dealership. On a hunt for a reliable car to take my daughter from Mississauga to North York every day to work, we visited Thornhill Hyundai. We had visited 7 dealerships and spent a weekend on-line.
To our surprise we wound up buying a brand new 2019 Elantra Preferred which came with either an 8 year/ 160,000 kms warranty or 6 year/ 200000 warranty at no extra cost plus snow tires for the same cost as the 2017 used models!

I bought a used car and there was problem in mirror blind spot sign the company fixed it for me and detected other problems and fixed all of them for free because they said these problems are under warranty .the price for all problem was around $3000.

Welcome to Thornhill Hyundai, one of the worst dealership in GTA, who don't bother about customers. Once the car is sold sales representative don't even pick your call nor they have courtesy to call back again. There's a Sales Manager who is even more rude than their representatives. Just think once before stepping in. I don't want to disclose the name of representative which make me feel same like them.

Great experience at Thornhill Hyundai. I went to Richmond hill Hyundai to buy a car but no one was greeting and sales people were chatting at the corner of the dearship. I had to ask a sale person but useless. I bought a Tucson 2012 from Richmond hill but not going back there.
At Thornhill Hyundai, a sales manager, Tai, came out with big smile as soon as I walked into the dealer store, he introduced a sales person, Frank, such a gentleman. Frank understood our budget and worked with me very well.
I'm now waiting on new Sonata.

Needed a part for my vehicle, through extensive internet search learned that this dealership provides the cheapest parts in the country. Drove 1 hour to get my part but the discounts made it worth it. Yaser from the parts department was beyond helpful. He helped me very thoroughly over the phone and kept me informed about the status of my part. Saying that his customer service was excellent and my experience was great would be an understatement. Had a great experience with them and would highly recommend this establishment.

The service departmant is rude and dont care about to discuss what they are doing in your car. Choose any other Hyundai but this one.

I showed up for a scheduled 10am oil change and by 1030 my car still wasn't processed in the system. I mentioned that the passenger head rest was stuck (a technician could likely fix it in 1 minute) and they would have to charge me for the work. The car is 3 months old and I purchased the extended 8 year warranty. I would highly recommend taking your car elsewhere. Another gentleman in line was also talking about being over charged by this dealership while I was waiting in line. Save yourself the hassle and find a different dealership or Mechanic.

I had my 3rd Hyundai Sonata and I am so glad I had this model as our family car. The safety features of Sonata 2020 is better compared to my 2017 one. My daughter and I love driving this model. The staff are so helpful even for services I required in the past. The last sales person whom I deal with, (Irene Song) was really helpful and accommodating.
