My advisor was Thuin and through every step of the way provided me with his expertise and help. I honestly can not point out any flaws and his availability when I had any questions or needed help was second to none.

We used Beresford Adams to provide a probate valuation on our late Mother's bungalow. They were just brilliant at a very difficult time, so when we came to put the bungalow on the market we had no hesitation in asking them sell it for us. Once again we can't praise and thank everyone enough for there friendly, professional and excellent service throughout what transpired to be a longer than expected sale. Thanks so much to the whole team, Louise, Cherry, Katrina, Tuin and especially Amy who endured a lot of hassle on our behalf and who never lost her sense of humour or professionalism. The only thing I would do differently is to use an independent conveyancer rather than CCS. Would we recommend Beresford Adams..... Delightful to buy a house with. I had a particularly complicated set of circumstances as I was buying while working abroad. The team, special mentions to Amy and Louise, were extremely helpful and understanding and I wanted to use this review to express my gratitude to them. I was also greatly aided by Beresford Adams being part of the Countrywide group as it helped me to speed up processes that would have taken much longer or even jeopardised the purchase. A particular mention to Thuin from the Countrywide, who works in the Beresford Adams Chester office. He was in constant and prompt contact with my solicitor leading up to the sale to make sure that the insurance policies matched my mortgage broker's requirements (which were more complicated than normal due to my working abroad). Everyone I spoke to at their office always provided sound, sensible and well-measured advice. I will rent the property out until I return from my travels and I look forward to working with Beresford Adams Chester to do this and I am confident that I will be able to post an excellent review of that part of their service in the future.

When we decided to sell our house, we never imagine we will receive such an outstanding customer service experience. We ve dealt with a number of local estate agents recently and Amy from Beresford Adams has certainly been one of the most helpful and efficient that we have come across.

Estate agents are often given the unfortunate title of being some of the most disliked professionals in the UK. However, my experience with Beresford Adams has thrown that label well and truly into the trash.
I couldn't commend Amy and Andrew enough. Both went out of their way to make my first house purchase as easy as possible for me. They were both incredibly generous with their time, supportive of any questions I had, and always eager to help in whatever way they could. Whenever I needed to go into the office and neither of them were around, all their colleagues were very friendly and welcoming, immediately putting you at ease. Although I don't plan on moving anytime soon, when that time comes I will most certainly be looking to Amy and Beresford Adams. Thank you!

I sold my house through Beresford Adams Chester. Katrina was responsible for my case, and I couldn't have asked for more. Having my parents property sold for full asking price on the day it went on the market I was keen to use the same agency to sell mine. I spoke to the Branch Manager, Louise who quickly established the property I was looking to sell and who it would appeal to. Later that day a viewing was proposed prior to placing on the market which I accepted. It was precisely what the purchaser was looking for and again the full asking price was offered which I accepted. This all happened within 3 days of contact with the branch. It's hard to quantify the amount of time and money saved through using this branch but clearly I couldn't rate highly enough. Now in the process of purchasing I can first hand see the difference in service provided by sellers using online based agents, the last viewing didn't even know we were coming. I would always priorities this service in future and will be returning back to this branch for my next sale in a heartbeat! Thanks to all the team and Louise in particular

Fantastic service from Beresford Adams. Both Jennie and Lindsay took me through the process of letting my property for the first time. Both very informative and helpful. In particular Lindsay who followed up with frequent courtesy calls keeping me in the loop and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Very quick turn around and all staff in branch were friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend.

Great people to work with, house sold within 2 days, everything went smoothly. Thoroughly recommended.

Gave them the spare key and security fob for the property I am renting so they could carry out an inspection while I was at work, perfectly happy with service at this point.
But a few months later a gas safety check was due so advised again that could be done using the spare key as I couldn t take the time off work but got a call back to say they had lost the keys!

Mistakes happen and had the lost keys and fob been replaced and given back to me then I wouldn t be here complaining... instead we are almost 3 years down the line and after multiple attempts to contact them and resolve it I am left with only 1 security fob that would leave me stranded outside the block should it fail... have I also mentioned the intercom doesn t work?

Attempts to contact them and resolve the issue include:

Reporting it in writing via email and following up with a telephone conversation

Further telephone conversations

Reporting it via the website for maintenance issues

Forwarding emails reporting it directly to the lettings manager of the chester office and being told he would investigate... That was 7 months ago and still nothing

I cannot recommend the Lettings office because of this unfortunately.

Lack of Communication throughout my tenancy. i moved out of the property on 8th August and the Landlord text to say she was happy with returning my deposit. i did not receive any correspondence from Beresford Adams. i called to find that i should have been sent a deposit release form which i got sent and returned on 10th Sept, i am still waiting on a response, they don't answer the phone and no replies to my emails. unfortunately for them i work in Chester and will probably end up paying them a visit in person if this continues... poor customer service.

Absolute joke, we had an appointment for 5 o'clock, at 5.20 I rang up I got told they would be 5 minuets late as there was bad traffic, we waited till 6 pm after ringing loads, knowone turned up there phones were not on, so I had waited with my 9 month pregnant girlfriend in the cold for nothing.....

We are some distance from Chester so it is very reassuring to know that we can rely on B.A. in the form of Debra Mason to help get problems such as plumbing issues resolved with minimum fuss. The past two and a half years, my partner and I have been trying to find a place for us in Chester. Thanks to the talented agents at Beresford Adams, we re about to pass 1 month in our new home. They have enough experience to give an educated answer to pretty much every question you ask, and they have the customer service knowledge to listen to question they don t know the answer to, let you know they ll find out for you, and give you the accurate answer for it within two days at most. They handled a very quick turn around from viewing the property, to putting it on hold, to signing our tenancy agreement, to moving in within three weeks with ease. They re extremely friendly and personable, willing to talk to you and have a proper chat while either viewing a property or signing a tenancy. They also are able to give you the privacy to view a property on your own to form your own opinions on it. They don t pressure you into anything you re not comfortable with.
