Wonderful wellness facility, great staff, excellent service

Beautifully located Sauna Square. Helpful and very friendly staff.

Very nice sauna with many facilities you can relax all day, and the staff is very friendly. Just a pity that many people talk in the saltwater pool. It sometimes seemed that a lot of girlfriends groups were going to hold a whole tea party there, and that they don't really know what a wellness day actually means;). I think that is very unfortunate. Because then go to the city together. But they can't do anything about that at Bussloo, because everything was really well organized there and was really great! Is just a real shame that many people just do not understand that you are there for your rest :) But it is a very nice sauna and I will definitely go there again :)

Prachtige welness. Ik weet dat de eigenaren altijd naar verschillende landen gaan om inspirtatie op te doen voor het design van de welness. Je kijkt je ogen uit naar de mooie muren, lampen, beelden. Echt een sprookje.

Als ik een nadelen moet bedenken dan zijn het de volgende;

Je betaald voor een massage vrij veel. 25 minuten is zo al 40,- .
Omdat je tegenwoordig bij social deal, groupon of vakantieveilingen massage kan krijgen voor veel goedkoper, wil je eigenlijk zo'n bedrag betalen. Wel is het zo dat er bijzondere thema's aan gehecht zijn bij zulke massages maar het is meer de namen van de massages en de inrichtingen die ervoor zorgen dat je zoveel moet betalen. Toch zou ik adviseren om het eens gedaan te hebben.

We moesten voor badkleding dag 3.95,- betalen naast het entree kaartje. Ik weet niet of dit was omdat we via vakantieveilingen de entree hadden gekocht of dat het gewoon zo is op die dagen. Ik vind het zelf een beetje onzin. We nemen ons eigen spullen mee en ik denk dat het zelfs schoner is als je met je badkleding overal op gaat zitten dan met je blote kont. Beetje een opgelicht gevoel kreeg ik.

Het eten is keurig maar voor sommige denk ik ook wel prijzig. Ze werken met biologische en fairtriade producten dus daar betaal je ook gewoon voor, logisch vind ik maar kan mij voorstellen dat sommige mensen dit niet vinden maar dan moet je opzoek naar een welness met minder.

Als je zoiets nog nooit gedaan hebt, ga het dan eens beleven.

Fantastic facilities and good pouring program. Horeca very expensive: 18.95 for a plate full of lettuce with just a little bit of pepper, bean sprouts, snow peas, 20 peanuts and 12 shrimps. 6.50 for glass of mixed fruit juice. Fortunately with 2 for 1 the entrance remains acceptable so you have total value for money.

First the positive:
It's a nice hotel. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathroom with the rain shower is classic and the air conditioning was very quiet. The concept of the rooms and the hotel is coherent. The cleanliness was ok (only the cupboards were a bit dusty). The service at the front desk was good and uncomplicated. Fluent English was not a problem for this receptionist. You felt comfortable in the hotel right from the start. The way to the wellness area, i.e. to the thermal bath, goes through an underground tunnel, so that you can put on your bathrobe directly in the hotel and walk to the thermal bath from the elevator. The thermal bath itself has a lot to offer. It is not quite as up-to-date and modern as newer wellness spas. The variety of saunas and their design is still impressive. The cleanliness of the facility was also good. We got to know the outdoor area in winter, due to the vegetation phase, it was not particularly inviting. However, competition in the segment will increase. The wellness and health market is currently a growth market into which other competitors will enter. The system must therefore continue to develop in line with the times.
The food in the restaurants and the breakfast buffet were okay. The service from the staff first class.

Now for the negative:
The language barriers in the restaurant Intens, as well as all other restaurants (N-Joy, Kelodrome) and in the lounge were a bit problematic. As a guest or customer, of course, you want at least menus and drinks in English. If the service cannot translate the Dutch menu into English either, it is of course difficult to choose the dishes that you really want and want to eat. In today's world, at least the translation of the menus and drinks would be appropriate. A translated menu in the room for the timing and scope of the arrangement would of course also be important, but not as important as a corresponding translation of the menus. Unless you only want to reach customers on a national level. Today's customers expect professionalism and customer orientation at all levels and an uncomplicated stay. The booking system on the homepage is not up to date. A customer wants a quick and uncomplicated booking process. If the system then blocks because you don't have a Dutch phone number, that's a problem (you can lose customers). Of course we could make reservations by phone, but the poor English of the employee on the phone was a small obstacle. It still worked. What surprised us in particular was the text on the minibar, stating that if something is taken out of it, it will be automatically charged after 20 seconds. We don't know that from other hotels. We avoided using the minibar.

A super delicious and nice resort. Everything is very relaxed and focused on pampering people. Everyone of the staff is nice and takes the time for you if desired. There is also plenty for the inner person, everything very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!!

Bad service! For example, you have been booking separate massages for years and you just hear that you can no longer book a treatment without the sauna.

Nice hotel and wellness center and the vast majority of the staff are very friendly and aim to make the stay a pleasant experience. It is indicated that the maximum amount of visitors to the wellness center is being monitored, but it is ridiculously busy on weekends. We stayed from Friday to Saturday and Friday was way too busy. There were rows in front of the saunas and most of them were your butt-to-butt. We had to skip many saunas, because there were no more free places. If you do find a free space, it is a pleasant experience. The saunas are of good quality and there are many different types of saunas with large differences in temperature. There is a swimming pool outside and there are several hot tubs. The restaurant is also great to do. We had chosen the 4-course surprise menu and the food was of good quality. However, we were unlucky that the vast majority of the courses were not really within our taste, but that will be different for everyone. What was a pity was the little explanation of what you actually got on your plate. One staff member is certainly not like the other and that was very visible in the restaurant. Where one gave an explanation about the food, the other did not know at all what was on the plate or which wine could best be served with it. The hotel room was very nicely decorated and the view of the lake was amazing. The bed was of very good quality and was perfect. The bathroom is very spacious. The only downsides of the room were the amount of dust (waking up with pain in your throat and nose) and the high temperature. The latter in particular was very unpleasant. The thermostat could not be lower than 20 degrees and if you opened the window, the thermostat automatically switched on and the heating was high. You could not turn this off.
If you come by car there are enough parking places. Finally, there is the 'hidden costs' item. You should pay attention to this if you do not want to pay a high bill after your stay. Payment is made with a band during the stay. This means you incur costs quickly. When eating, for example, you are very kindly asked if you want water when eating, but this simply costs you money. 2 bottles of tap water later you lose 6 euros. A coffee after dinner is also nice, but without asking you get 3 small bonbons and huppa .... the coffee costs 6.50. For example, the costs are high for all drinking (small glass of merlot - 7.75). If you have chosen the surprise menu, you will also not receive a card and you will not have a view of the costs. As a result, the real surprise after dinner comes at checkout.
Yet this does not alter the fact that it was a beautiful hotel, wellness and experience and maybe we will just come back on a quieter day.

What had to be a nice reminder of a nice day at the sauna unfortunately turned into a damper afterwards ... Nice sauna complex. First time we visited this. It is large and clean. Many choices in saunas, swimming pools and whirlpools. In short, enough to enjoy a whole day. Unfortunately here too slow service, tacky couples and everywhere the sun beds were held by guests. But this is no different on swimwear days in other saunas, so we know that. But then we went home ... I had consulted the Dutch Rail trip planner and saw that every hour at a quarter past a bus went to Twello station. We were waiting neatly at 7:45 PM for the 8:15 PM neighborhood bus. But this one did not come ... When checking in at the desk clerk, she told us that we should have reserved this and that there was only one who an employee had reserved at 10:15 pm, it was not possible anymore According to her, we should have known that because it is stated on 9292 travel information and EVERYONE looks at 9292 and not on the NS travel planner, she said ... well ... According to her, it was our fault and there was no other option than to order an expensive taxi to the station .. I am sorry that this is not mentioned on the Thermen-Bussloo website with the information. I hope Thermen Bussloo takes this complaint seriously. It would have saved us a lot of misery if it was mentioned on the website or at the desk and not that the staff assume that the guests (who are coming for the first time) are all-knowing. Because not everyone looks at 9292 travel information. The NS travel planner app does not mention anything about this (I will also address that) Mvg, M Lit

Thermen Bussloo is a great place to relax. Everything looks nice and new, the corona measures have been taken well and the food is fine. In previous reviews I read that the food was disappointing but there's definitely changed this - freshly prepared by different chefs had dinner ready for us. We will certainly also try the other Baths!

I'm really looking forward to it. every time I come. I see a lot of people complaining about prices people really you are your own boss you don't have anything. and ask and tell staff something. and then do not say if they have asked you fine say no sister and stuff. but not here on the internet is that easy.

Very noisy, no relaxing vibe, overpriced food and overpriced towel/slippers. Didn't enjoy this establishment.

Very nice saunas and baths. I found the outside part the most beautiful and the most spacious. The bubble baths are actually less beautiful. There was a swimming pond / lake which was very nice. The best we found the salt-water cave which was very impressive. We have also found a pouring experience that is also special in a kind of theater sauna. To cool down, there were plenty of choices from walk-through baths to mist showers. We have also been in a sauna with a fireplace in it was also very hot. we have also eaten there very tasty but very pricey but that is almost everywhere with saunas. Had a very relaxing and relaxing day.

AllenAde silent bathing is not observed by most guests very annoying ..
People just keep on fucking even after a warning from an employee, she didn't even hear her. Even in a few saunas, people just talk ... there are beautiful signs everywhere with the text "only silence gives peace" but nobody I think reads.
And price quality ratio of the hospitality industry is on the high side.

Stars lowered from 4 to 3. Why? Made use of the live cooking buffet for the first time. Really too bad.
The 3 stars are still because I really like the saunas and the location.

Fijne sauna, gaan er vaker heen en hebben het hier nog nooit onprettig gevonden of zoals in sommige recenties last gehad van personeel of pratende mensen in de sauna's. Nieuw is zoutwaterbad en die is heerlijk en erg mooi gemaakt!

Prijzen voor vooral het eten zijn inderdaad zoals meerdere zeggen wel aan de prijzige kant en daarnaast is de keuze van belegde broodjes niet ruim --> Tip is dan om een lunchbuffet te doen, hier zit dan uitgebreide keuzen aan eten (warm/koud/toetjes) EN het drinken in en ben je eigenlijk 'voordeliger' uit en zeker lekker.

Maar al met al vinden komen wij hier graag en vinden het een heerlijke saunacomplex

Eten is hartstikke goed! Veelste druk en badjas is net zoals hieronder halverwege de dag ook gestolen. Vervolgens niet terug gebeld en moest er zelf achteraan.

I love this sauna! Everything is very clean and tidy. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Here you can completely unwind. They also often have offers, so you can get a discount on certain things (food / treatments) and that is of course very nice for my wallet.

Nice sauna many small saunas. Despite the crowds, there was little to notice.

Nice sauna but the food is getting worse. We also ordered a chefs special after asking what it was, but got a lot different because the waiter got it wrong. But what he told us what the chef's special was was not even on the menu.
Very poorly served, some people also left because no one walked up to them to ask what they wanted to order.
Too bad they don't have the old menu anymore with bento box and lobster salad and fried needle fish.

Spacious and everything nice and new. The food I found a bit on the expensive side compared to what you get in terms of price and quality.

Thermen Bussloo is the ideal sauna for me to get away from the everyday routine. Because almost all saunas are silence saunas, you will definitely relax and yourself. Thanks to the wide choice of healthy food and drinks, everyone can enjoy themselves. The hotel is also recommended with the Intense restaurant where you can dine wonderfully and enjoy a wonderful restaurant in the morning. The atmosphere in the hotel matches the atmosphere of the sauna.

As long as everything happens the way they decide, you'll probably be OK. But be prepared for the most inflexible, pig-headed and outright unhelpful staff in all other circumstances.

Sauna visited on a Thursday. It was very busy and several times we could not use saunas, whirlpools and baths because they were full. This caused a lot of frustration so I cannot say that I really came out of it in a relaxed way. Very unfortunate since I thought it was the best price.

Moldings are delicious..but the prices of a 13.50 sandwich are ridiculously high! I also don't like supper..if you don't want to live on the roots of peppers and humas ..

Sauna *****:
Beautiful and very spacious sauna. Very large garden with many types of saunas. Salt water bath is recommended. Just like the infrared sauna at the lake. The relaxation massage is okay but quite pricey (around 40 for 30 min).
Restaurant ***:
Lunch buffet is fine, but don't expect culinary delights; you can put together your own salads (lots of choice), delicious bread and standard toppings, hamburger (from the green egg), satay and portobello mushrooms filled with goat cheese and honey. Furthermore, carrot cake and div. yoghurts. Drinks / food are, as with any sauna, pricey.
Tip: if you buy an entrance ticket through a holiday auction, you will probably have an entrance fee of up to 10 per person!

Quiet environment, the food is expensive, sauna and baths are clean

I enjoyed it very much! I used the dinner buffet, good food, but the flies took away my appetite, very unfortunate. Keep in mind that if you come with the regional bus and you want to get back with this, you must reserve it!

It is a clean and well-kept wellness. There is enough variety of saunas. Very friendly staff and the food is tasty.

Great facilities, but at the end the experience is flattened if you have to pay 9 per towel. "It's a towel service, sir, you can change it as often as you like." It would have been nice if I had been told this when I asked for 2 towels. Now it feels like a rip-off, an opportunity to make good money from unsuspecting people who trust that a company has a reasonable pricing policy. Ask 10 random people on the street what a reasonable amount is to borrow a towel in a sauna facility and nobody will mention 9, except those who have been to Thermen Busloo. We will tell everyone to visit you, but keep it safe from your pricing policy and bring your own towels.
