We've owned one of their bbq grills for over 8 years. It's lasted through several moves and lots of year-round use in varying climates. We've started to outgrow it and will be looking to upgrade to a larger grill. Will be sure to go back to them again. Great product.

We love this little stove! One trick we had to deal with, that opening at the top is not all that big. We use a silicon baking mat to help guide the pellets in from the bag or bucket. It's heat resistant so no worries. The stove produces a lot of heat even on low and the circulation fan really pushes it out to the rest of our house.

It s a shame I even have to give one star.... I purchased a replacement part for my stove and it broke after a week, after contacting them about it for replacement, they have made it so difficult, let alone the now two months my stove has been down, and I still have not received my part.

The fan motor is very noisy on these stoves, as well as the auger churning. You catch yourself grinding your teeth to the rhythm of the auger. They have a return policy, but they'll keep part of your money for the hassle. Save yourself the hassle, don't buy a Thelin.

Gnome is a Troll Bought the Gnome direct gas heater in October 2018. Has not worked with the Thermostat since. Only hand switch. New thermostat was installed, new cable, pilot light opening/hole drilled wider still not working. Called customer service about warranty was told they can t help, because I did not buy it directly from them. In addition the Troll makes loud clinging noises when it heats up and when it cools down for at least 10 minutes. Blower runs unevenly and makes annoying screaching noises. When stove is hot is evaporates and unpleasant smell. Save your nerves and your money.

Such a disappointment so far. Brand new, ordered from a dealer, shipped to dealer and we picked it up. Husband prepped everything beforehand- moved the old vent, put up new stone, installed stove, and redid the chimney. Stove is very loud, something obviously wrong with it. It is okay on low, very loud on medium, and so loud on high it vibrates the floor through the entire downstairs. It also sparks! Thelin would not help us. We had to go through the dealer. They are sending a replacement fan assembly. Who is going to install that? Is that going to stop the sparking? We have configured our entire fireplace for this vent location. Not an easy fix for us to get something different now and very stressful overall. When we paid $5000 for a stove, we expect it to work. Not impressed. Expect a brand new stove to work properly, and if it doesn't, expect the company to come fix it immediately or send a new one. How many months is this going to take to get it working properly? If it doesn't work now, is it going to work after the warranty is up? What a nightmare. Also, we bought this because it will be our primary source of heat and would pay for itself in a few years. Middle of winter now- running expensive electric heat on high because it's 12 degrees. Is Thelin going to pay for our added expense?!
