Came to the rescue when let down by another boutique 3 months before my wedding. Professional, calm and created a wonderful shopping experience. Would 100% recommend.

I had a lovely experience at the White Closet. It was my first time trying wedding dresses. Mollie was so helpful, there was no pressure to buy, and before I left she wrote my favourites down with prices so I could go and have a think and invited me to come back if I wanted to try anything else. The dresses are beautiful. Definitely recommend!

I had my first ever bridal dress try on at the White closet and absolutely loved it. The girls made me feel so comfortable and confident and couldn t recommend them more. I had the lovely Lucy doing my appointment and couldn t have asked for more! She was super helpful and showed me all different designers and styles. I think I found the perfect dress! Would definitely recommend going to this gorgeous shop to find your dress.

The women who work there are super helpful, don't try to push any ideas on you at all, and help you explore to get exactly what you want. It was so lovely, and such a positive experience when 2020 has been a tough year. I found my dress and am so happy with it!

I recently purchased my wedding dress from The White Closet and had the best time doing so. Millie was brilliant and made the whole experience feel so special. She knew exactly what items to pair together and what would suit me. She gave amazing advice on not just the dress and accessories, but other aspects of the day too. I couldn't recommend The White Closet enough, I'm almost sad I only get to do this once!

Oh where do I start?! My experience of The White Closet couldn't have been more perfect - it was everything I hoped that finding my wedding dress would be and more! Millie is just so lovely - friendly, honest & down to earth with a great eye for detail & styling that I really valued. I felt like I was in safe hands with her from beginning to end. The range of dresses is fantastic, I found 'the one' pretty quickly but could have probably found 20 more! Plus, the shop is decorated beautifully - I felt like a VIP the whole time and couldn't recommend it more highly. The only thing I'm sad about is that it's all over - I want to do the whole experience again! Thank you so much for making me feel so special! Xx

A simply wonderful experience. Millie left me feeling confident and found me some wonderful dresses to try on - I'm plus sized so this is not an easy thing to accommodate. I left the shop feeling on top of the world.

Millie who owns the shop helped me at my appointment and she was amazing. It was the first place I tried on a dress and she was so helpful and kind. I didn t know what to expect following the new restrictions but she made sure my mum and I was well looked after and comfortable, even with the new measures in place (gloves, face mask, distance) it didn t feel odd at all.
She talked me through each designer and what I m looking for and encouraged me to try things I wouldn t normally try which ended up being one of my favourite dresses. She styled each dress perfectly and kept going back so I could try on new styles. At the end of the appointment she didn t pressure me to buy anything at all, she wrote down my favourite designs and said they would welcome me back whenever I liked. I would definitely recommend and can t wait to go back to have another wonderful experience.

This is a lovely wedding boutique. The whole experience was really good. The lady that helped me was so friendly and helpful. They have a really good selection of dresses as well. Definitely recommend!

Lovely bridal shop, Eve and her staff are an absolute delight to deal with and can't do enough for you. Beautiful and unique selection of dresses, I would have no hesitation in recommending this boutique.

Unhelpful staff (perhaps the owner?) Very strict with the timings and suggestions such as ("you'll have to use your imagination'). Refused showing another dress as "times run out" despite having 15 minutes left. Made to feel very awkward. Prices then go up if you want it within about 6 months. If you want to be ripped off and feel humiliation this is the place to go. Went to a lovely shop in Lancaster and got exactly the same with great service.

Lovely staff, great fabric and washes really nice. I shall be back for more. Thank you girls

I recently purchased my wedding dress at the White Closet and I can honestly say this bridal shop is just magical!!! I had the best experience and Millie was just amazing. I didn't really have a clear idea on what I was looking for so she was so helpful in exploring different options and gave really good advice. I was unable to have family with me due to covid so they also set up a zoom call so my mam could attend which was amazing. It was just such a lovely experience.

Gorgeous shop, great service, she made us feel comfortable, especially me even in my unattractive nude suck in underwear! Stunning dresses, I'm currently in love with two and trying to decide!

The White Closet was the 10th shop I went to and the dresses were by far the nicest (saved the best till last!) The quality of the material was beautiful, delicate and extremely well made. The two ladies, Millie and the owner were so helpful and friendly and very informative. It was a lovely experience, (even with masks on) and I would recommend this shop to any bride who is looking for something a little bit different and extra special. Thank you ladies, I'm so glad I've found 2 dresses I love - now to choose 'the one'! xxxx

The White Closet is a beautiful shop with a lovely selection of wedding dresses. Millie made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease while finding the perfect dress and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Quite disappointed in my experience.
Having read lots of reviews on this shop and seeing they had won awards, I was very excited about my appointment.


We arrived at the shop at 9.55, it was raining. We knocked on the door to be told to come back at 10 o'clock as they weren't quite ready.
We hung around under umbrellas in the wind and rain for 5 minutes near the store. The other Bridal shops I have previously been to I had arrived early and was allowed in. If you have a 10o'clock appointment you make sure the shop is ready for 9.45 to allow for people arriving early?!

Upon arrival we were welcomed, ladies working in there were friendly.
* My bridal party told me after that the floor was wet - they had clearly just mopped. I didn't notice this as was immediately drawn to the dresses.



The consultant was friendly and talked me through the designers.
It was the Anna Kara Trunk Show weekend, but not much info about the designer. I was looking forward to seeing her new collection but I was told they don't always have the new dresses in store, not quite sure were they go?! Dresses they had on their Instagram they didn't have in store.

I selected around 5 dresses. A lot of them didn't suit me - which I was fine with, all part of the process.
Compared to other bridal shops I have been, I did't get any feedback from the consultant. She kept pulling so many different dresses, I was fed up by the end. I did decide on some separates I liked, but I don't think it's "The One".
I would say the dresses were quite worn - there was makeup on quite a few and the hems were dirty.
I was expected to feel bit more special - get better service at Topshop Personal Shopping.
Overall I'm disappointed.

Trying on wedding dresses at the White Closet was a great experience. The quality of all dresses is amazing, and they all look very special. The atmosphere was very nice, and there was no pressure to buy. Even though I had to change country due to unforeseen circumstances, Millie sent the dress perfectly on time for the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, I was very happy about the dress. It fit perfectly, looked amazing and was comfortable throughout the whole day.

Really lovely experience, wonderful staff and very accommodating for me, given that I am plus size.

After issues with my original wedding dress (from a different bridal store) I was so disheartened but after my recent appointment at The White Closet with Millie I feel excited again and cant wait to return for my second appointment! The dresses are amazing and the whole experience was lovely, even with the COVID-19 rules!

I couldn't recommend this boutique enough. From the first visit, the customer service has been outstanding, and I actually ended up purchasing a dress suggested to me by one of the team which I might not have tried on without her encouragement! The team truly know how to make the whole experience positive and enjoyable, and it was a really fantastic part of my wedding planning. I ended up moving from Manchester down South the week after my first fitting, and they were able to complete all my minor alterations and steam the dress ready for me to pick up before I moved, which they didn't need to do but which was greatly appreciated. A beautiful shop and fantastic service, not to mention they stock only the most exciting bridal designers and accessories.

I had such a lovely experience with Molly and Lucy yesterday! They made me feel really at ease and were able to select around 6 gowns of which all would have made me feel confident and comfortable wearing on my wedding day... one in particular I can t stop thinking about! The selection of gowns at The White Closet is like no other and so different to anywhere else I ve been (in the best way). The atmosphere and the whole boutique is just perfect! Thankyou so much!!!!!

I love the dresses from here and the service has been good so far. I love the initiative they've taken by offering online consultations during lockdowns, it's been super helpful as my wedding is coming up soon!

Absolutely lovely experience from top to bottom. Great website with helpful tips for the first timers and the instore service was so lovely. Plenty of time allocated to each appointment and very supportive, friendly, personable team. Beautiful dresses with loads of stylish options for layering and accessorising. Made an appointment with The White Closet after being recommended the company by a close friend. I have to say I was not disappointed. Millie was so professional and listened to what I wanted from my wedding dress. The choice of dresses she holds are stylish and elegant!
