Worst hospital ever. Very rude staff and have no emergency department, have to wait 4 hours to see a doctor with a very deep cut and a lot of blood loss. People with a cough get priority. Never come here if you would like to be helped this century
Very welcoming, efficient, fast and very human teams
After 2x misdiagnosis in another hospital we are very happy that we came here with our 6 month old child. We were immediately received and extensive research was done. Finally we know what is going on with our baby and we can start an appropriate - heavy - course of antibiotics. Kudos to doctors and nurses!
Today we went to the emergency room because of breathing problems. After waiting 6 hours, they come to me that they have no answer for our problem but that they have the corona. I only received a loose paper from them that says * You are sick with Covid 19 you have tested positive with covid 19 or there is a suspicion that you are infected with covid 19. Follow the advice below to prevent the virus from spreading. .... * In normal circumstances one will receive a certificate stating the name of the patient and the word positive or negative. But this was not the case !! SO AFTER 6H WAITING THEY WILL GIVE US A LOOSE PAPER WITHOUT A CONFIRMATION WITH NAME! WHAT A GAME IS THIS ?! ARE YOU PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S HEALTH ?!

I personally don't like this hospital. My experience was with the pulmonologist. Little empathy to be admitted, very cold personality. From now on I will go to a different hospital.
Very unfriendly. I had a pain in my stomach because of the basic Italian and they did not want to examine me, very disappointed in the medical care because it really hurt And I was not the only fox and baert also had pain and the same song ... Talking about songs CLOSING TIME in the SBIB is really short

Tribute for the entire staff of the emergency department! We were visiting Leuven and arrived in the middle of the night with my elderly mother after an ugly fall (EU citizen but not Belgian health insurance). Fast, skilful and, above all, lovingly helped, we are very grateful to everyone. Thank you very much for everyone involved!

Emergency department has no concept of "emergency". Many times had to wait very long, sometimes up to 3 to 4 hours in the waiting hall. And even if you leave without being helped, you will still receive an invoice.
This accounting is a disaster. Many errors, incorrectly sent or unsent invoices ...

Very bad hospital, their affairs are not in order, not administratively and also the doctors' check-ups: not everything together. They lose your address and after 8 years you get a bailiff on your roof, even though they don't have their own affairs in order. Then they employ bailiffs who are rude. No, never again this worthless hospital. Too bad for the nurses, those people are doing fine, but the hospital is really bad.

Terrible experience. Rude people at the inscription desk, rude doctors. Zero professionalism, no relation doctor-patient. Worst medical centre I've ever been to.

It is a good hospital the people are treated like humans they listen to you. Very friendly. If you have something for you you can reach the doctor or they call you back. .also very accessible by bus until the stastion leuven go and take bus 2 that stops in front of the hospital. it is an old hospital but they are still renewing it. always have the self doctor.in gasthuisberg you are a no that has become a factory and you always have another doctor.am very pleased with my doctor.in the Sacred Heart in leuven

Old hospital, doctors with very high self-esteem, no modern research methods, very unfriendly, I will NEVER go there. A shame that this is still possible in this country. Gasthuisberg is 2 km away and they DO have the knowledge and know-how there
Well organised hospital, welcoming. This was a much better experience than the bigger hospitals. Care was as good but less crowded and less stressful. All the paediatric nurses were very competent and compassionate. Our daughter bounced back from her operation immediately after we left the hospital.

Very friendly nursing. Are ready for their patients day and night. They listen to their patients. If you do not know the doctor's language, they will also give extensive explanations until you understand what they are going to do. Here they still see me ... only if necessary.
