I've played drums in the worship team for 7 years and love serving this body. I've experienced an intimate community here that has laughed and cried with me through the years, many have prayed with me, many have been there for me. I have lasting friendships, I have joy in our fellowship. I have hiked 14ers through this church, and because of this church I am a part of 3 other musical groups. I've experienced personal growth as a Christian man through the Iron Sharpens Iron men's group (I was a part of the group for 10 years) and I've also been discipled through the pastoral staff as well as through other small groups. I highly recommend that you lean into this church, you will find that we love Jesus and we love people.

My Family and I have been going to The Vinyard Church ever since my cousin invited us to go on Easter. This Easter it'll be 3 year. My daughter and I attend the Friday night Step-by-Step Program @7, moreover it has saved my life. I love being apart of the Vineyard Church of the Rockies.

Warning! If you go to this church and are questioning your faith, don t let them know! They will treat you like you have a AIDS. I was teaching the youth group and was struggling with some things in the Bible and asked some hard questions, like..I don t understand how the Bible can condone slavery and stoning women. I also asked about the story of Noah and Adam and Eve. They just don t male sense. I was visited, at home, by the pastor, and told that I cannot be in a leadership role if I question the Bible and was told that I need to consider joining a new church. THESE PEOPLE WERE IN MY WEDDING! Faith blinds good people. Remember that before you join this church.

We love love love this church!! We have attended for a few months now and haven t felt so connected to a church or it s people in about 10 years. We are a young family with 5 children from ages 4-15 years old and the kids, middle school and teen group is awesome! If you re looking for a new church home where you can make new friends, connect with amazing people and have a great, safe place for your kids make sure to check them out!

I used to go here a couple of times a week. One of the pastors here even presided over my wedding. A few months after the wedding, my wife and I were in a car accident and the pastor asked to pray for us. He went on a ten minute ranting prayer about how my wife and I wouldn't make it and that our relationship was already falling apart. Like... really? That really turned us off of this church. That, and the Rob Bell teachings.

This is a great place for people off all walks of life to find community and the presence of the Holy Spirit. From felons and gang members to doctors and firefighters, we are all brothers that want a growing relationship with each other and ultimately with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Unbiased response: Much love to all of you and what you are doing here. Your changing lives and lifting spirits of people in need. I was on my lunch break at city park hanging casually with the geese when three representitives primarily from your GJ Church came up and practically paid for my lunch via a gift card and asked if I needed anything to pray about, indeed in this moment I did and asked to pray for my only brother whose been fighting for his life; see for awhile now ive been trying to connect with god and feel his presence and durring the end of a prayer by an angel called "Liz" theses words were spoken "May you give Jerome a sign that you are with him"-in short; and I realized this was my sign, it reminds me god is with me and he does love me and I felt his presense and comfort. God bless

Happy Easter, 1 year ago on Easter my service dog and i were all "dressed up" for Easter. The Jr pastor met me at the door and told us not to come in. Since becoming disabled, i dont come as often as i used to, but my dog has always been very good. When i didnt want to leave and was trying not to cry in front of other people, He forced us/lead to the Prayer room. I couldnt see the song words. They had a guard at the door, then another one. ??? What??
My son volunteered at groups a long time, i volunteered before.
The pastor said something like we have had homeless people wash their dogs in the bathroom sinks so we cant have dogs here. (P.S. he is anti allergy) Well we are not homeless, and didnt look homeless, but isnt that SUPPOSEDLY YOUR THEME SONG HERE???? "We accept everyone as they are, right?"

PS: my son had a very uncomfortable canoe summer camping trip years ago and has not been to church since. It was so bad he wouldnt tell me what happened.

PSPS: I had a LARGE donation that i was going to donate Easter Sun of 2018. When they tried to have me and my service dog leave, then moved us to our own prayer room, i cried and cried. And no, i didnt give the large donation after all.
Lots of other fantastic churches to go to.....
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

This church has always felt like home even before I moved here. My now husband and I would go every Sunday that I visited during our long distance relationship. I just love the atmosphere and the work that is being done here. Now that we're here, I get to serve with the youth and sing, using a few of my talents I'm blessed with! Such a wonderful church with wonderful people and a huge vision to reach the city we call home with the love of Jesus. If you're looking for a church who's not pushy, just wants to love and lend a hand, and not to mention, has some awesome messages, then come on over and visit us! We'd love to meet you!

This is a very welcoming, casual church. They often have guest speakers that include authors, pastors from other churches, and city officials. As somebody who did not grow up in the Church, I never once felt intimidated or different when I started attending. Oh, and free (good) coffee!
