I very much enjoyed my stay here. I have stayed at a number of hotels in Malta and the Westin is by far my favorite when traveling for business. The beds are super comfy, the staff is excellent, the views are incredible, and the pool and gym are first class. No compliants. I highly recommend the Dragonara.
A little older but still one of the best places around. Due to massive construction works not all parts of the Hotel were accessible. Pool and Poolbar still closed.
Wonderful hotel. Great food, good facilities, comfy beds, but what really makes this a 5 star experience is the staff. They are so polite and friendly and are very attentive without being intrusive.

tasteful furnishing, great rooms ... Clean and good size. Directly at the sea . The staff is very friendly. The prices for food and beverage are good, not to expensive and it was delicious.
In the near are restaurants, Shops, supermarket and in front of the hotel is a bus Station.
We had such a great holiday and will come back.

This hotel was great. The pool and the food were amazing. And it had hot tubs and it was next to the sea. It was luxury to say the least. I just want to say I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!

Top levels of hotels, striking the huge and beautiful room, great breakfast and fantastic location very close to the casino, in Paceville and bay street.
Nice hotel right on the sea (no sandy beach). The service is friendly. Breakfast rather basic during Corona. We found the price-performance ratio ok, not excellent. Our room was very spacious and nicely furnished. The bathtub is a small faulty construction, which results in regular flooding after showering.
The temperature is measured EVERY time you arrive at the hotel.
We have just seen the pool and the fitness centre and they were both pretty small and full of humidity. It felt very claustrophobic down at the pool and we didn't stay long.
I enjoyed the juice from champagne in the morning!

Construction was occuring and the hotel team or website never indicated this activity. Absolutely no remorse or sympathy for someone who stays with Marriott very frequently.

Myself and my husband just spent five nights at the Westin Dragonara for our honeymoon. The location is gorgeous and the resort itself is perfect and so spacious. The resort is quiet and relaxing. The option of two pools is nice. We dined at all the different restaurants at the resort and we enjoyed all of them. In regards to value for money, we were very disappointed that after paying a 5 star rate, wifi was not free. This was an added extra. (it was only free in the lobby and the pool area). Poolside service was also lacking. Only once during our stay were we asked if we would like a drink. Service overall is not up to 5 star standards. Staff do not go out of their way to help. We used the laundry service and they did do a great job but it was well over priced.We enjoyed our stay but we will not be returning.
Booked an afternoon tea. What an afternoon The ambience, hospitality service is excellent, fresh sandwiches filled not skimpy filling, warm scones fresh jam clotted cream yummy. Then cakes unlimited tea, coffees and Prosecco and more cake and sweets. I would recommend on all counts, both if organising an event or if you simply are looking for a proper Afternoon Tea or a light bite.

Very friendly hotel, very comfortable and modern facilities. View of the splendid mother since the hotel is at the water's edge. I went in low season and unfortunately there were works that prevented me from relaxing as I wanted. I was awakened every day by noises too early for my taste.

Beautiful facility with some flaw in the organization especially in check. Few operators in the rush hour of arrivals. Beautiful and tidy rooms. Cozy and varied restaurants. There are also excellent facilities such as swimming pool and fitness. If you would improve a bit 'the organization would be definitely worth seeing. Well done anyway
Very good: efficient and friendly staff, spacious room, great location. Bemols: The room for 3 was equipped for 2 initially ds the bathroom and the mini bar (2 glasses ...) and especially the breakfast room crowded, noisy and chaotic service. Children's paradise.

Was such a lovely hotel. I got back yesterday and i miss this place already. The pools were lovely for a nice relaxing swim and the hotel facilities also. The food was decent and also the bars including the lounge was good to sit in whilst having a drink. The location was very good overlooking the bay which was lovely scenery. The rooms were also very clean and spacious including the decor which was very good also plenty of storage space so i couldnt find fault with this at all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful i would go back in the future.

Since the hotel grounds are very big, it was never too crowded by the pool. One could even choose a quiet pool, by the sea, fun pool with music etc! Very large tasty fresh buffet for breakfast. On site restaurants are also pretty good and well priced.
The hotel is basically a 5-star hotel from the decor. The service left a lot to be desired. The cleaning women forget daily any towels, clean the band utensils to the toilet to clean and forget them there, forgotten to fill the shampoo. We had no soap and on demand we were told it was empty. The two free bottles of water were missing often or at least one. That is not service-oriented.
We were also awakened in the morning from construction noise in the house, where no Oropax helped more. The travel agent knew nothing and had not informed us about a construction site. On demand I was told in the hotel, that there is no construction site, only "general maintenance" and that would be short. The whole stay we had construction noise. On 3 days it was so windy and cold that we were only in the room, in the gym and in the indoor pool. Everywhere you heard the construction noise, a relaxation was impossible. A new complaint brought only an apology and a bottle of wine to the room - that would have brought me at most something to get drunk.
Almost a week of construction noise, although there is no construction site?
Further points:
+ Beautiful sea entry
+ good breakfast buffet, except the egg station (constantly burned eggs or a so broken fried egg that it would go through as a scrambled egg)
+ Ice cube dispenser in the hallway
- musty stinking hallway
- nocturnal switching of a relay of the air conditioning or the motion detector. Constantly "Click, click, click, click" - annoying!
- Location in the middle of the party mile. The environment is not very nice
- 45 minutes by bus to Valletta
- On the balcony you can hear a loud humming, probably an air conditioner. Not usable!
I would not recommend this hotel because the rules were violated and the site should be kept secret. Who plans a relaxing holiday, can be quite disappointed here.
Sunday buffet lunch was excellent. Wide choice of dishes including seafood, pasta, roasts, puds and cheeses. Bottle of wine included in the price. Only point was why did we have to pay for coffee? Kirsty our waitress was attentive and smiling.
The Westin buffet never fails to impress! Excellent food and fantastic service every time. Well-done!

Update - Seeing as This Westin has miraculously claimed my reviews were false and had them taken down by Google, I'm attaching the stay, so Google knows that I was there, and the issue is valid and this location is the deceptive entity. Shame on you and your team for trying to hide the issue.
I stayed for two nights and slept on the couch one night due to the room not cooling down, and to my dismay, my neck and back were eaten alive by what appeared to be bed bugs or some other critter. I spoke with management, and they assured me no such a thing was possible when my neck and back told a much different story. They said that they cleaned the room and refused to refund any monies back because clearly, my bites were somehow my fault. This is unacceptable as I stay in roughly 200-250 hotels a year and have never been attacked by bed bugs or anything like it, and I'm disgusted and appalled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.
As also previously stated with the hotel, it doesn't have just to be bed bugs to do the damage that was laid to my neck and back. They have zero customer service, nor do they care about the people that stay at the hotel. Clearly, this is stated by their boilerplate response. Pictures attached

We stayed here during our trip to Malta. The rooms are really nice and big, and the access to the beach is fabulous. Great and friendly staff. Can sefinitely recommend the hotel.
Very good rooms but beware the a/c wil drip during the night .. above the kettle area in my room staff unfazed as they said it was normal. Very good management staff friendly and helpfull.
Service was excellent, beds were so comfortable, it was like sleeping in heaven, friendly and at the same time very professional staff. All in all, I have only positive memories from this wonderful hotel. Thank you for being so perfect :)
This was an amazing hotel. Fantastic, mint quality rooms, clean and neat, great facilities, great food. Overall great experience. Walking distance from great restaurants and shops. You can even rent fitness clothes from the hotel to go exercise. Loved it, will go again!

My family and I Absolutely love staying here and we ve been doing so for over 10 years - it s probably our favourite place in the world however we ve just noticed that you ve recently added rabbit to your menu. We simply do not feel comfortable returning to your hotel with this on the menu : we wouldn t eat in a restaurant in Malta that has rabbit on the menu either. We know of many others who feel similar and would immensely appreciate if you removed this.
Overpriced for what you get. I don t mind paying more to stay luxuriously - this is not it. Service upon check in failed to meet our expectations. None of the promises made during booking were honored. The rooms need updating. The lobby is More
