Excellent beach resort. We were here for the Christmas holidays.
We were accommodated in the Executive Club Room with access to the Club Lounge. The rooms are huge with terraces, and ours had a wonderful view of the sea. The hotel has several restaurants as well as its own rocky beach (but without sand).
The Club Lounge serves breakfast as well as evening appetizers and hard alcohol (18:00 - 20:00)
The location of the hotel is very good, with Saint Julian's bars, discos and restaurants nearby. The bus stop is in front of the hotel.
The service was also excellent, special thanks to Clara from the reception.
The only downside was that there were some mosquitoes in the room, but this is normal for coastal hotels.

Air conditioning loud and outdated, ventilation stinks pervert! You can hardly bear, damp clothes by, before the good reviews I ask myself, everyone does his job and it is good, but what is going on here, it is a scandal. Hidden Wi-Fi!

A group of people from my family went there on Easter Sunday. We ate at the lounge bar. It has a strange name OVRM. We were served quickly even though the place is busy. I had a burger and it was good. There many other dishes. Parking was easy. We used the car park of the hotel, and were given a voucher for free parking. Good experience over all. Bit expensive though.

Loved the exec lounge... The chaps who were looking after us during the evening shifts were always friendly and helpful. Relaxing and cool inside and a nice balcony, with some shade, if you so desire. Rooms could do with some updating but not the worst I've seen... Only downside to our room was we could hear the AC plant blowing/sucking air on the roof across from our balcony and the safe was too small for my laptop! Overall recommended.

Very luxurious hotel, spacious and well-organized rooms, we took advantage of breakfast, of course the breakfast is intercontinental, a very rich and varied buffet.
The property is located in a very quiet place, but at the same time close to the center of sent 'Julian's nightlife (reachable on foot in 5 minutes),
Staff very professional, kind and understanding, excellent cleanliness of the whole structure (from the rooms, to the last hidden corner of the pool).
I recommend the structure.

This is how a resort should be done! Top notch service from the moment you arrive. Everyone is friendly, smiling and make you feel welcome. The staff seems to be genuinely happy with what they do...as much as one can be when working. Valet, bell captain and registration staff were all very helpful.

The location and views are absolutely spectacular. Food and service in the lobby bar is very good. The breakfast buffet is huge and very, very good. Our server, both mornings, was very good, very friendly and informative about local culture, local food and customs.

The same can be said for all of the lobby bar staff. They were friendly, interactive and informative about local things to do and sights to see.

The concierge was very helpful in helping to select important and/or pleasant heritage sights to visit on a compressed schedule. Provided materials, maps to ease the tour.

My rental car had a flat on the last morning there. HERTZ roadside service wanted 80 to come change the tire. A valet at the hotel, in full uniform, insisted on changing it for me and tried to refuse the modest 30 tip for doing it.

The property is also close to the hot entertainment and dining section of the city.

I absolutely cannot say enough positive about this resort!

Very nice hotel! Big rooms, with a wonderful view and great staff. Pool area and water access to the bay is great. Don't expect a beach like the states. Rocky areas with a ladder are typical here. The water is a very nice color

Beautiful. Special mention to the water sports man who was brilliant even though it was too rough to take a skippered boat out. Give this man custom he will look after you. Hotel lovely, didn't use the evening restaurant.

Terrible property. First room had no functioning AC, was then moved to a room which was already occupied. Finally got a renovated room with AC. The room was nice enough, but the staff was arrogant, the location is bad and the property is showing its age. Avoid at all costs.

Good size rooms with wonderful views of the sea! Two good sized pools and plenty of private beaches- the sandy cove is a definite must when in St. Julian s! The hotel restaurants, pools, and shopping were all reasonably priced given the location. We loved afternoon tea! The spa is only open Monday through Saturday, but the hotel staff did try to help me book at another spa open on a Sunday. Generally a good hotel, but the check out and check in process leave a lot to be desired. It took us thirty minutes in line just to find out that they don t honor early check in that my elite status offers! Very frustrating. That being said, the staff did of course check our bags and bring them up to the room. This is also a touristy area, and if I wasn t staying on points I probably would not return to this part of Malta again.

We stayed 3 nights at the Westin Dragonara and the hotel is ok. We stayed at many hotels around the world and this one did not stand out positiv in any way.
The hotel room is big, we also liked the balcony with the nice view. The hotel interior seemed to be a little outdated and the floor we were on was a little smelly.
The breakfast was ok, nothing special in our opinion.
Before you are going to book, you should know that this hotel is very close to the party area .
We would not stay at the Westin Dragonara again, we would pick a hotel closer or in Valetta!
In our eyes this hotel is not worth 5 stars.

We enjoyed a perfect weekend break at the Westin Dragonara Resort. The lobby is welcoming, warm and stylish and the ladies at reception were friendly, and anticipated our needs. Our room was spacious and right on the waters edge, so you could even hear the sound of the waves. In the evening we dined at the Palios Trattoria, the food was delicious and staff friendly and gave helpful recommendations. We had breakfast in the room and was served with a smile. Would definitely recommend and cant wait to go back.

Nice big room, lovely balcony with sea views. Friendly staff. Decent gym, nice pools. Only 3 stars because of annoying wifi that needs constant log-in (and you need to pay if not SPG booked and member), old school AC units and ridiculous 5 euro delivery charge for room service. Add to that usual useless SPG app experience and customer support.

Great hotel, quality of the food is excellent. Staff really go that extra bit to help & offer assistance. Nothing is an issue, they re always happy & smiling. Cost wise it s on the button.
The brand need to take this model and use it in their hotels in Dubai, where it s overrated, overpriced ego driven model just sucks.
