Best place I've ever gone for a concert! The venue is small, but that just makes the concert that much more personal! I also like that it's open to all ages. I watched The Band CAMINO here and it was the best concert I had ever been to! It was a little hard for us to find, but other than that I loved it!

I have been volunteering at Vera for a couple of months now. I am learning so much about live sound and am excited to take all the different classes that Vera offers. I also very much enjoy working with and meeting all of the bands that play there. I only wish I had known about it sooner.

It's a small space in a good way. Remarkably good sound quality, and very friendly people attending and working there. There's a tiny snackshop outside the stage area, and open spaces to talk with friends. Street parking is possible to get--just drive around the blocks nearby.

Sick place. Compact. Artful. Personal. Good sound quality. Large bathrooms that are confusing. It is like shared gender. Which is a bit rapey, but like... Ok. Also there is ample close seating inside and outside for between sets.

Vera Project is a well-deserved centerpiece of the Seattle music scene. The venue is small, and one of the few all-ages locations in the city. At the same time, it has better than average sound, and is one of the great successes of a community-driven organization.

The line to get in was super long and slow and because we got there just after doors were supposed to open, we didn't even get in til after the opener started. The venue was really good, small and intimate.

Just had the time of my life seeing the "Risk!" live show here at The Vera Project! The staff was really chill and friendly. The aesthetic is really cool, also. It helps to set up a cool atmosphere.

Really inconsiderate and unresponsive staff. Drove 45 minutes to buy tickets during open box office hours, but it was locked up when I got there. They weren't answering the phones, so when I messaged them on Facebook, they said they were closed for a special event. I asked them if there was any mention of the change on their site (there was not) and they viewed my message and didn't bother responding.

Such a good venue. A little smaller than most i think, but it makes for an intimate experience that is entirely what i expect. Definitely my favorite Seattle venue, and maybe the only one I'll go to at this point. Friendly staff and amazing vibes

Awesome volunteer-run all ages venue. Shows are well curated, and providing an all ages space where alcohol and drug use is prohibited is crucial to maintaining a youth music scene in the Seattle area.

Will always support this place. They may not have a bar but you can go to one of many surrounding bars. They book great underground acts from hip hop to hardcore. Staff is chill and the crowd is always down

About The Vera Project

The Vera Project is a Seattle-based non-profit organization that aims to empower young people through music and art. The organization was founded in 2001 by a group of passionate individuals who wanted to create a space where young people could express themselves creatively and learn valuable skills.

One of the main initiatives of The Vera Project is their all-ages music venue, which hosts concerts and events throughout the year. The venue has become a staple in the Seattle music scene, providing an inclusive space for both established and up-and-coming artists to perform.

In addition to their music venue, The Vera Project also offers educational programs for young people interested in pursuing careers in the arts. These programs include workshops on sound engineering, event production, graphic design, and more. By providing these opportunities, The Vera Project hopes to inspire the next generation of artists and creatives.

As mentioned earlier, The Vera Project is also affiliated with Seattle Theatre Group (STG), which owns and operates several iconic theaters in Seattle including The Paramount Theatre, Moore Theatre, and Neptune Theatre. Through this partnership with STG, The Vera Project has been able to expand its reach even further by offering additional programming at these venues.

Overall, The Vera Project is an incredible organization that has had a significant impact on the Seattle community. Their commitment to empowering young people through music and art is truly inspiring. If you're looking for an all-ages venue or want to support youth arts education programs in your community - look no further than The Vera Project!
