Very good hotel, view like a theater stage. Everything was great.

We enjoyed last year. We would have loved to go again this year! Maybe next year.

Fabulous! Stunning beach, food and service. Nothing was too much trouble. True discreet luxury

The hotel is chic, but the prices are a bit awkward. 25 euros for a cocktail at the bar, in my opinion too much. But a very convenient pier. A convenient place for trips to the surrounding beaches by boat.

Obviously great everything perfect.

I went in to have a drink at the bar with another couple of friends. We sit down and order 1 ca of the brut forest (150 ) and a bottle of water. Immediately after taking the order, the waiter returns to us, pointing out loudly (all the tables around have heard) that there is a minimum spending of 50 each and that we should have ordered more (there were 4 of us). We honestly felt mortified for that attitude and decided to leave. I leave 2 stars because the place is very nice but unfortunately the vote discounts the embarrassing policy that is not appropriate for a place that should be elegant

A long held dream to visit this James Bond location was finally realised. The setting and surroundings were amazing, everything I had hoped for. We had a couple of (very expensive) drinks at the bar and initially the service was good with the drinks and some bar food being provided quickly and efficiently. The whole experience was spoilt when we wanted to pay the bill. In total we waited more than 30 minutes and it was only when we got up to walk towards the exit that the bill was finally provided. A real shame.

In a few days the hotel is ready for opening with a new look ... beautiful ... a unique pearl ... it is worth staying there even for a weekend

Location of the hotel is amazing, architecture is beautiful and has a very comfortable feel to it. The staff is however very disappointing, I paid 9 euro for a coffee and 10 euro for an apple juice and was treated very poorly. The staff is very arrogant, and gives you the impression that you are not welcome. Even my small son who is treated like a prince everywhere in Italy was not even looked at or saw his smiles returned at this up nose place. I have been in many expensive hotels in the world and have never been treated like this by multiple staff members. This let's the place down and spoils the special experience. After being stared down by a group of staff members in the lobby my wife just wanted to leave. We were planning to book a dinner for our anniversary but chose a different place. Will not return here.

Good hotel, but not as it used to be, at a lower price there is also service and beauty nearby.

Here one is truly welcomed, beyond the stereotyped tired procedures of other hotels.
It was hosted with attention, sensitivity, courtesy and, respecting each other's roles, with friendship.
I don't know what the secret is, perhaps because most of the people have been working here for decades, despite ownership and management changes, perhaps because they are satisfied with what they do and how they do it.
And then the magnificent sea, Sardinia and the whole Costa Smeralda.
I don't know how long this magic will last, if you can take it.

In my opinion the most beautiful hotel in the world. Particular architecture in a corner of paradise is a strong emotion. Frequented by international people because its fame is worldwide.
Everything is absolutely perfect ... it's worth the trip.
If not to stay overnight, I recommend lunch at the pool or an aperitif. Even here, however, as at Romazzino they serve Gin and tonic in a small glass as in the 80s / 90s, I don't understand why the other drinks are served in large glasses. Apart from this detail, which is important to me if you are in Costa Smeralda, go there, elegant, I recommend and be prepared to pay the price that is worth.

Outdated but always up-to-date structure, refined and refined details, welcoming and bright rooms, top-quality dishes, impeccable, attentive and reserved staff.

Simply a dream, I would like to be reborn rich but very very rich to be able to afford the holidays in this unique place since the prices are dizzying, but who knows in the next life .......

It is very beautiful, starting from the wonderful landscape overlooking the sea and the other side of the island, have a restaurant arranged on the beach where you can get only with the boat that is made available by the hotel, you have me a restaurant, you have "special" poolside where, besides selected meals, you will also serve sushi and other fish dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant and the hotel is rustic. Employees are always willing to help you, and even put your soul in what they do ... as proof "You are hired 40 years old and even more." And prices are up to date.

Love it. After staying here, now I understand why all the rich & famous came here and make so many history and fame for this hotel.

I came for a solo little vacation. This hotel was really more than expected. I got the upgraded new designed. The room was simple, space good enough for one person. The best part was the balcony and the beautiful sunrise. The color from the sky reflects with the pink bldg made it an amazing scene to see.

Despite renovation rope and garden furniture made in China, a really great hotel with charm in a unique location. Have been coming back here for years. Fantastic beaches.
It's better to eat in other restaurants in Porto Cervo.

The Cala di Volpe is a dream hotel. Set in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, this hotel allows you to relax, have fun, keep in shape or recover and eat in a spectacular way. The offer is wide and the staff is well prepared and very kind. Widely satisfied

In "Cala di Volpe" James Bond and Major Amasova resided in "The Spy Who Loved Me". She learned here that 007 killed her lover and in turn promises to kill him when the job is done!

For me it is the most beautiful place in the whole Costa Smeralda, an enchanted place with a retro charm but with a modern taste. An enchanting aperitif on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea. The evening at sunset is something unique. Truly exciting. The staff always very kind and impeccable! We eat very well, highly recommended for dinner.

Direct on the sea. The small marina has a shuttle to go to Nikki beach. Perfect service and amenities. The rates are like the George V or the Savoy....little too much even for Porto Cervo! u need a cab to go to Porto cervo 30 euro minimum! One way!
