First time eating here. Excellent food and service. Waitress took care of us extremely well. Searched this on Google maps for directions and was looking for a door sign. Door was more Salmon color and no signage but we did find it. Very good experience eating here. Will definitely eat here next visit to Seattle.

Easily the best Italian food I've ever had. We flew into Seattle on a Saturday morning and checked into our hotel around noon. We were both starving and made our way down to Post Alley to find something to eat. Everything had insanely long lines, and we happened to see a small sign for the Pink Door pointing up some stairs. We remembered that it was one place on a list of many that we wanted to try. We went up the stairs and went through a small pink door and were shortly greeted by a waitress who led us to a small table. It was midday on a Saturday and the place was virtually empty.

We started our order with the half dozen oysters. They were very fresh and the pink peppercorn ice they serve with it is VERY good and enhances the taste of the oysters. The waitress said a lot of people ask for tabasco sauce for the oysters instead of using the ice. I wondered who these monsters were and I was glad no one did something so dumb in my presence. My girlfriend ordered the Lasagna Pink Door and I ordered the Cioppino Pink Door. The Lasagna was so flavorful and rich. It was a good size and she couldn't finish it, but that just meant more for me! The Cioppino was AMAZING. All of the seafood in it was so fresh. I am used to mussels and clams in Arizona which are akin to eating something like an old band-aid. But at Pink Door, they were so good and tender and flavorful. I was sad when the bowl was empty.

We went back a few nights later on a Monday to see the trapeze artist perform. That was really cool. We were able to get a seat again, but the place filled up pretty fast. This time my girlfriend tried the Pappardelle Al Ragu Bolognese which was good as well. I stuck with the Cioppino for a second time. We also had a half order of the Antipasto which was very good and a nice portion. Almost too much for two people.

Our server, Diane G. was really cool and helpful. She explained the menu and answered all of our questions knowledgeably. She even helped us figure out when to come back in order to see the trapeze artist. If she didn't know an answer to our questions (we had a lot so thank you Diane for bearing with us) she would go ask and come back with the answer. The 5th star is for her great service!

All in all, if you're at the Pike Street market, you MUST go here before anything else. Try all the other stuff second.

A restaurant isn t just about the food, its also about having an INCREDIBLE dining experience. Service and ambiance are just as important. The pink door is a hidden GEM!! What an amazing experience and incredible food! Talk about having a party for your taste buds! I have traveled the world and to say a place is amazing is because it really is. Alissa was incredible and made us feel very welcome and made the best recommendations! My favorite dish was Paglia E Fieno a seasonal truffle paste with mushrooms from all over the world, it s a must try! Highly recommend this restaurant!

A very lovely restaurant hidden behind a baby pink door. Nice views of the pier and the great wheel. My mom and I had a very pleasant lunch there. The fish of the day (salmon) was very good. My mom ordered the lasagna which was also delicious. Portions are within a reasonable size unlike normal American portions. There is a limited selection of gelato/sorbet which isn't listed on the menu but is available. The chocolate mousse cake is amazing. Our server, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, was very attentive. When we left my mom had left her phone on the table and our server caught up to us by the restrooms and returned it. Overall, a very pleasant experience here and if I ever find myself in Seattle again, I'll be sure to dine here.

Heard about the restaurant when I was already here. I didn't have a reservation so I tried my luck and was here around 1.30pm. The location in Google map was accurate and I saw the sandy pink door.
The staff was friendly and I immediately got the table near the window which overlook the waterfront view.
The food are all tasty. Got the green salad, spagetti in seafood maronara sauce (not on the menu buy recommended by the waiter), and cabaret cake.
A good dining experience. Want to come back to try other dishes.

Great place! I was surprised when I walked in and walked down stairs. Food was ridiculously good!! My drink was not the best and the bartender could have been a little nicer, but everyone else was great. We loved the vibe of this place.

Fun for a night out, though a bit loud for intimate conversation. Food and drinks were good, though not particularly memorable and a bit pricey for the quality we experienced. We didn t have a great vantage point for the act, which was disappointing. I might give it a second chance. Reservations recommended.

Excellent food and service. Eclectic surroundings with large window views on the water side. My panini was very good. The chicken was moist and tender with mozzarella and some chile peppers. I highly recommend this place.

One of the greatest happenstances one could hope for was accidentally wandering through this alley back home on a rainy Seattle night. The off pink door wasn't a big enough hint, more of a subtle clue that I missed in my trek home. Luckily some live jazz and a tap dancing crew on the stage below caught my attention. I wasn't inside for more than a few minutes before making some great friends at the bar who were regulars and introduced me to the fanfare that is The Pink Door. From their fantastic mulled wine, to the authentic acoustic piano on stage still riffing away, the experience is one I can't wait to be back for!

Absolutely one of a kind - a genuine uniqueness that makes it a must stop in Seattle. The food was impeccable! I highly recommend getting reservations for the bar area so you can watch the nightly shows (we went on a Sunday which featured an aerialist who was outstanding!) Definitely go!!

Decent food, nothing special. Nice views. No sign. Just look for the pink door, with hours posted on a small sign, from alley. Speakeasy feel to bar. Cool acrobat act. Ok service, not great. Probably wouldn't go back, but fun to have experienced once.

Hands down some of the BEST Italian food I've ever had! The ambiance was on point (aka awesome, see pics), the food was delicious (from the appetizers to desert, see pics again) & the drinks were great! A must if you're in Seattle

Getting a reservation was almost impossible so I took a chance and showed up 30 minutes before they opened . The line had already formed but I got in and it was worth the wait . Two of my favorite things are pasta and seafood so I found exactly what I love at the Pink door ! The food , presentation and service were excellent ! If I get back to Seattle , I can promise you , I will be standing in line at 11 AM for a return treat !

Frustratingly had to wait extra 30 minutes for our reservations, but they made it right. First, table was A+, window view of Pike's and Sound. Then, comp-ed us our choice of an appetizer. We got K1 martini and Rhett's butler (courvoiser, rye whiskey, Contreau, and walnut bitters, wow!). Yum, we got their antipasti platter ! Delish! Moved to 2nd course of a bitter winter salad . Walnuts were deliciously sweet and crunchy. 3rd course was our usual. Pink Door lasagne and bolognese! Both excellent! Been going here for 20 years! And will continue!!! Thank you for our New Year treat!!!

I don't write reviews for anything, but this place was a literal experience. There's no sign for it, just a little pink door that leads into a dark lit little restaurant with amazing food, friendly staff, and live shows in the afternoon! Would definitely eat here again, great spot for a fancy date night!

One of my favorite restaurant in Seattle so far! All of their food are amazing, but i especially like the pink door lasagna! The vibe of the restaurant was also very nice. Friendly staff! Price would be around 25-30USD per head

What a really neat place! There were no reservations available (they say they are booked weeks in advance) but we were able to walk in at 6:30 and get a table for 2 immediately on the patio overlooking the harbor. Entrance is in an alleyway with the only telltale sign being, literally, a pink door. Ambience was cozy. We were not able to see the aerial performances but we may try to come back for the burlesque/cabaret entertainment (sounds like fun!). Food was excellent.

OOOH LALA! I was in Seattle for a business trip and was excited to try all the good spots that location had to offer. This little spot did not disappoint. I loved the fresh pasta! The live little band was a major ambient plus. Dessert was amazing I got the flourless chocolate cake, definite hit on the sweet spot. Service was exceptional as well. Thanks for making my dinner delicious!

Food was good. Had the halibut in a garlic butter. Environment/vibes were extremely paradoxical. Had an old timey suit and tie feel, but all the staff were wearing hipster/hippie get ups. All in all great service, just the off putting dress code did not fit with expectations.

The lasagna is worth it, promise. This isn't a 'modern italian' taste, very classic flavors come from their well practiced kitchen. Such friendly staff every time I come, the place feels well loved.

Went with my mom for lunch during our road trip and that was a pleasant experience. Everything was well prepared. As for main dish we enjoyed white king salmon the most. It was tender and moist. The sauce was tangy and light along with combination of various local veggie. We had gelato and cheesecake for desert. We have had gelato all over Italy but this one is better. It was super silky and light. A perfect finish for the meal. My mom said she would fly here just for gelato!

This place is an unforgettable experience! There is no sign leading up to this place. The signature is dressed up crowd outside a pink colored door. It is amazing how simple it is from outside and how exquisite and classy it is inside. Amazing food, wonderful experience. We went for the burlesque show and it is very very popular. The seats open up 3 to 4 weeks in advance and they sell out very quickly! We were flying in the city from different areas, so I am glad I was able to book it.

I ate here after a long day of wine tasting and was really hungry! We didn't make a reservation and were pleasantly surprised that our wait was relatively short. They take your cell number when you check in and text message you when your table is ready. The atmosphere is great for dates/a nice night out. The lights are low and tables are close together (I could have grabbed the bread off of the table next to me without reaching). I got the bolognese and it was delicious- would visit again. Make sure to know where you're headed before you leave the hotel or have your GPS on you. Like the reviews say- there's no sign, just look for the pink door!

The food was decent. We got the risotto and au gratin. I thought there was too much corn in the risotta and it overpowered the other ingredients while the au gratin was a little cold when served. I came on a Sunday and there was a trapeze artist. That was pretty neat! We were sitting right underneath her. Great show!

Dishes review: 3/5
Crab Risotto: 2/5 I didn t taste the crab much. The texture of the rice was less than ideal.
Bianca Pizza: 3/5 The bottom was too hard. The toppings were good.
Spaghetti Rescatore (Squid Ink Spaghetti) (off the menu): 4/5 The sea food was fresh and well-prepared. I got what I expected from a spaghetti.

Our food, scallops and lasagna were delectable. The service was accommodating and beyond pleasant. The hostesses were sat us in a travel-time-crunch with no hassle and smiles all around. It was truly an experience, live music and the atmosphere were unique and astounding upon walking through their famous pink door

Stellar atmosphere and great food. The restaurant cares a lot about customer safety in regards to COVID-19 (strictly enforces mask wearing with waiter/waitress, social distancing, has many hand sanitizing stations). The menu is small but everything is really delicious, and the alcohol menu is diverse.
