Food is amazing. Had the crab risotto and I was so full. Portions are generous and the prices are perfect. Great location near the water.

Without doubt, the best Italian in Seattle. Menu changes based on the season. New menu comes in on the 1st of April!
Awesome food! The bolognese and the rigatoni were both terrific. I highly recommend it to anyone.
This place has a great atmosphere, very unique.
Our server was knowledgeable of the menu, was able to pair a perfect wine for our meal, and he was very pleasant all the while.
The food was phenomenal, my complimentson to the chef!
The girl who did ribbons, was impressive, just captivating! Would love to see other performances!
Over all we had an outstanding experience!
The lasagne is amazing, we also tried the mushroom pasta which was fabulous. Service was great tables are a little close together but noise level is not bad. I would recommend the restaurant.
Excellent restaurant, the food was wonderful and the service.
Amazing Italian food but have to make reservations 2 weeks in advanced to get the day and time you want for dinner.
A bit pricy but worthy ! Cozy interior and best seafood pasta ever
Best place in the market! Been there forever. Great food, mostly Italian, and great views of puget sound.
Seriously delicious food.
My wife and I got the cheese platter to start. It was so delicious that I could have eaten that all night. In fact -- I kid you not -- the table next to us ordered a second one after finishing their guest. It's that good.
My wife ordered the Pink Door Lasagna, and while it's appearance isn't much (smothered in marinara) its flavor was beyond compare. 10/10.
I got the Fall Risotto and had a similarly delicious experience. If you're into Risotto, this one is pretty near perfect.
The restaurant was a tad hard to find, if you're visiting and have up rely on Google maps, but their website provided great instructions.
It was so good that we made room in our carry-on luggage to bring the leftovers home. It's. That. Good.
Great venue for a show and a few drinks. They serve limoncello and grappa....Staples for any Italian restaurant. Make a reservation on the weekends!
The Pink Door is a super cute trendy restaurant! Food is very delicious and seafood very fresh! Would totally go back! Wish that The Pink door would have more of a wine selection!
My husband and I just went there for the first time for our anniversary. It is definitely hard to find, I admit we walked a little out our way, but the hunt is part of the charm to this old speakeasy! The decor is fun, and the staff is pretty amazing. They definitely give you your space. The food is good, its Italian, not our favorite but the dishes were definitely better then we expected. Seattle has so many foodie places right now. We'll definitely go back, hopefully catch a show next time.
I've been visiting the Pink Door for a couple of years and I've always had a nice experience. This place has some of the tastiest, most special, most exciting and delicious food I've ever had, and it was just a wonderful experience to end. The workers are nice, the bartenders mix some delicious drinks, and the food is delicious. It's recommended!
A literal hidden gem of the Pike Place district of Seattle - the Pink Door does not disappoint! Descending from Post Alley, the ambiance of candlelit tables lulls you, while a gorgeous stained glass armoire behind the bar sparkles just as much as the promise of an extensive wine list.
Spectacular aeriel performances during Monday night dinner were our express reason for coming out on an erstwhile quiet night. To our delight our reserved table was front and center!
Roasted Cauliflower with minted salsa verde was a delicious start to the evening, even though it was listed as a side dish. The lamb osso bucco is not to be missed, the addition of orange peel provides a subtle contrast to the earthy lamb. The mafalda con sugo di conilgio was surprisingly subtle, the rabbit is mildly nutty and melds well with the parmesan. The Naughty Haughty Fig Toddy manages to warm you up gently since the brown suger and vanilla simple complements the fig-infused brandy. Finished off with the delicious but light italian prune plum cake with whipped mascarpone, we found both sustenance and joy in the evening.
The Pink Door is my favorite place to celebrate a girl's night or bachelorette party, but it would make a great date night location too. In the summer, the outdoor seating is perfection. In the colder months make a reservation for one of the burlesque shows, and enjoy your meal while being entertained.
Great meal. I would go back on my next trip to Seattle.
The atmosphere was one to remember! Loved the jazz band that played through the night. One of my favorite places for a date in Seattle.
Great Italian restaurant. Exceptional food , service and atmosphere!
I love this place! It is so whimsical and quaint. The decor and food are fantastic.
Went for the Sunday evening aerial show and dinner. The whole experience was amazing. The wine was delightful, the food was delicious, the show was captivating. All in all a great spot for dinner, expensive, but well worth it.
Funky and eclectic room behind the pink door. We enjoyed apps and drinks while listening to the jazzy trio.
Stopped by on my way home from organ wabtewa romantic dinner with my hubby we got seated right away and I loved the atmosphere it was amazing the live music was so good and wow the food was just wow I had the rabbit it was my first time having that kind of meat it was mouth watering good I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town and the service was amazing just a all around amazing place to eat
Beautiful place and delicious food. The vegetarian lasagna was flavorful, highly recommend!
The restaurant, ambience, decor, lighting, live music is awesome - so if you're going just for drinks, you'll be happy!
Food was just meh. Ordered the deconstructed lobster ravioli (like the concept, but not the taste, I've definitely had better!) and mushroom bruschetta (just bread and mushrooms, no flavor) to start and the pink door lasagna (sauce was basically Ragu marinara from the bottle) to share.
Great atmosphere. Nice menu. Excellent staff. Really enjoyed it.
It lives up to the hype. Great service, food and view. We highly recommend.
Wow! AMAZING food, wine and entertainment!! The appetizers and entrees were out of this world. Authentic Italian food. A must visit!
Make your reservations early. The wine is wonderful, and the food is great. If you're a visitor, this is one of Seattle's hidden gems. Quiet, subdued atmosphere with a surprising floor (ceiling?) show. Make sure it is scheduled when you make your reservation.
This is such a fun place to go with friends for dinner. Sitting outside you have a beautiful view or you can sit inside with the great decor. The food is delicious and I highly recommend having dinner or lunch.
What an absolutely incredible spot. Getting in could prove to be a little tough. If you enter the north side of Post Alley, about twenty five strides in, on the right hand side you will see a very light, hence the name, pink door. Enter the door to come into a lovely, warm, dim lit ambiance, descend, slowly if there is a line, down the stairs to greet the hostess. There is a beautiful bar to have a cocktail before you re seated at your table. The service was very good for how busy it was. I enjoyed the scallops, and my girlfriend had the bolognese, which was out of this world. It is a very busy and popular restaurant, and the wait can be long and the prices a little higher that others, but the quality of food, service and atmosphere is definitely worth it for a lovely evening.
Food was fantastic for lunch. Decently priced as well. We had to bring my dog to seattle and they were willing to let him in as long as he stayed laying down. They even brought him some water. Very pleased with this restaurant and thankful for their willingness to let my family and dog in.
Food was great, burlesque show (if you could even call it that) not so much. I guess they have a rotating selection of performers so it's hit or miss. Last night was a miss unfortunately.
Food was outstanding and the entertainment was not expected on a MOnday evening. The waiter was courteous and friendly. A definite if in the Seattle area. Hard to find but worth it.
Live jazz, cabaret, trapeze and amazing Italian food.
Beautiful restaurant layout and delicious food greetings and a good way of staffing with customers were amazing.
Great food, Great service, Great experience.
Server : Marcus
Wine: Sauvignon Blanc
Apitizer: Seafood Cioppino w/ bread
Wine: Pino Noir
Main: Ceasar Salad with Chichen
Everything: Wonderful
Risotto was excellent. You'd have no idea what greatness awaits behind the pink door, save finding it online or hearing about it from a local.
This place is awesome. Food fast and hot, very good flavors and excellent atmosphere. Very fun place and a must go to when in Seattle.
As the name implies, it's just a pink door without any other indication you are at the right place. Awkward and novel, but it works. Once inside you are greeted by a grand entrance and friendly staff. Food was price moderately, and flavor was amazing in both my wife's and my food. I would eat here again on my next trip to Seattle.
Great atmosphere, great views, fun place. It took us a little while to find the place, which was referred to us by a store worker, because there was no sign, just a pink door. It was super cool and great way to enter into the fun restaurant. The staff was really friendly and helpful too. The food was okay and I would give it a 4 star rating, but since the rating at this time is 4.6 I'm giving it a 5 to keep it closer to what it is currently, which an accurate rating.
Excellent. Pasta light and flavourful like in Italy
A fine dining experience. Ambiance and food are up to par for the price range. Check their schedule for live performances (arial art and music).
Last night went on New Year eve special dinner (90$) per person. Very disappointed by food in the menu. Want my money back. The dinner worth maximum 45$. Plus, disappointed that when we made reservations over the phone they didn t tell us that 20% tip is included in the bill, what made the bill huge , so which even made the feeling from all the quality of the food and taste even more disappointed. Definitely didn t worth 90$ + 20% tip of the whole evening dinner. Also entertainment was boring too. They could make a lot more better thing for such expensive dinner on a new year eve. We went with a couple of friends who haven t been there before. Well it was their first time at the Pink door. I think, they won t ever come back to the restaurant after such a meal course.
Especially want to mention very bad taste English beef ribs. They were too fatty. Grapefruit-salad was the worst in the menu, doesn t worth the money at all.
Very disappointed. The pink door used to be ma favorite restaurant, now I look at it differently. I should have go to another place with less money spent and a lot better taste food.
Though it was difficult to locate this place with lack of directions however food and staff made all suffering go... Awesome guys
Absolutely loved the food and the ambiance! Went for lunch and it was sunny day in Seattle so the pier and water views were great! The staff and server were super courteous and helpful. I have dietary restrictions and didn t want alcohol in my food. I ordered this off the menu....was either called chefs special or catch of the day. The chef was super sweet to accommodate my request and do a separate sauce to go with the fish without using wine for cooking it.
Recent reno and big expansion since my last visit to Seattle. Funky, artistic, musical flare with fantastic food and drink. Service is great. A worth while destination.
Great views, comfy atmosphere. Antique bar is very stylish. They have a small stage and caberet which looks cool. My fish was a smidge overdone but that tends to happen just about everywhere.
Really cute place to eat at and decent ok price for italian food
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and excellent live music.
The olive oil that came with the complimentary bread was really good. Fish of the day was good. Excellent service.
Only been here once, but what a cool place. The food was really good and the ambiance was great. The waitress was a lot of fun and knew a great deal about the wine selection. The seating, where we were, was a little awkward for 3 people and when my wife had to get up, so did I. Not huge, but didn't feel like a 3 person table. Overall, really nice and I had fun.
Food was delicious. It can be a little pricey but they do well on getting locally sourced ingredients. The entrance is literally just a pink door in post alley. There is no real large sign over it. The restaurant name is very literal.
Amazing!! Great food. Great people. Definitely a must see.
The food was excellent! We ordered the lamb and cioppino. Donuts for dessert. One of the best desserts I've had in awhile actually. The service was very sub par and disappointing. The waiter kept attending to the table behind us but hardly ever came to our table. The front desk told me there would be a show the night we were there but it started 2hrs after we left. That was a huge disappointment since that's why we went there.
In would have never known this place was here if my AirBNB place didn't suggest it in there welcome package. I am glad they did. We were walk ins with no reservation so wexhad to wait over an hour. It was worth the wait. Our party of five enjoyed various meals, I had fish of the day (Salmon) and it might sound cliche but it was the best i have ever had. Service was absolutely wonderful. There was even a bonus, a lady trapeze artist performed right in front of us. If you are in Seattle make sure you visit, but make a reservation.
Absolutely delicious!! I saw this place on Yelp an wanted to give it a try. I'm a vegetarian and they have a few options or us folks! I ate the lasagna and the noodles literally melted in my mouth. If your down town Seattle and you want a place elegance and wonderful ambiance, look no further!
Absolutely love the remodel. Love the ambience and love their attention to detail. Thanks for making our anniversary lunch special!!
This place has some pretty good eats. What I appreciated most was the homemade pasta! There was something different about it. It was lighter than most pastas I have had in the past. I tried their Tajarin which came with spinach, fresh grated parmesan and a raw egg yolk on top. I also tried their garlic bread with herbed olive oil. It was also good but a little cold. This is probably one of the better restaurants I got to try in Seattle. You might need to make reservations as it gets very busy.
the type of food worth eating with your eyes closed
Met with some friends enjoyed a drunken cucumber cocktail and the in between whiskey cocktail forgot to photo the dinner but the clam and prosciutto linguine was amaxing as well, staff are super pleasant and refill water regularly
The food was decent; the atmosphere, entertainment and service were excellent. They have fresh, unique and delightful cocktails and mocktails. You definitely need a reservation (preferably a couple of weeks in advance) for great seats or get your name on the wait list right when they open. You can also try to sit at the bar but there isn't a lot of bar seating.
Had a great time, the staff was super friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious. Definitely would come back again.
Intimate atmosphere, DELICIOUS FOOD, amazing views, and wonderful service. We really couldn't have imagined a better experience.
Best meal we had while visiting Seattle.
It's located in post alley we literally walked right by the place because the door was such a pale pink we didn't know it was there haha!
We go seated at what we felt was the best table in the house and our server Philip was such a joy! Everything we ordered was so incredibly tasty and we left with full bellies and happy hearts. We will definitely refer this place to anyone we know coming to Seattle and we will also be excited to come again in the future! If you live in Seattle and haven't gone then goodbye go now.
Literally the best lasagna I had in my life. Thanks to the waitress that gave me that recommendation. The portions are perfect. They don t give you too much so don t be afraid to go with a three service meal. Dont forget the bread. The oil they give you is just so tasteful.
Great atmosphere, awesome food. Loved the herbed fries, the lasagna and trofie were amazing! Will definitely go back.
The food and service were amazing. Loved the lasagna and cabaret cake.
I did find something really weird when the bill came to me. The gratuity percentages at the bottom of the bill to help Customers was highlighted with a pen. I'm curious to know how many of you all have experienced this.
Awesome experience nevertheless.
So sad! I went in with my daughter tonight to get a table and it wasn t very busy. Here s what s sad. The hostess didn t make eye contact, and when I asked about changes she dismissed me like I didn t matter. She was rude and unwelcoming. Wow, I have always been a loyal costumer (over 15 years) and it makes me sad that they ve changed so much!
