This place came highly recommended by a foodie friend that I trust. We made it a priority to include a stop on our trip to Seattle especially since our kids love, love, love pasta. We went around 9 pm on a Monday evening and were quickly seated at a table overlooking Pike Place Market and Elliott Bay. BTW, if you can get seated in Colby s section, he s friendly and provided great service.

We then proceeded to the menu ordering the caprese salad, pappadelle with beef ragu, and linguine with clams. WOW! Everything was fresh, delicious and satisfying. Our son exclaimed Let s come back again tomorrow! We might just do that.

To end the night, we shared three scoops of chocolate and salted caramel gelato. this comes with a lavender shortbread cookie to die for. The perfect ending to a great day in Seattle.

A very nice place for a date or gathering with friends. Our waiter was very nice and patient and gave us very good recommendations. The food was amazing too! I don t eat Italian food often at all but what we had was delicious. I d recommend making reservations ahead so you ll be seated near the window and have a nice sunset view at dinner.

Excellent Food. The wait staff truly wants your food to be just how you want it and are willing to make suggestions and modifications. A unique restaurant with no signage off Post Alley. No sign, just a Pink Door!

Ate here while visiting Seattle and it is a MUST! Atmosphere reminds me of an awesome French speak easy from the 20s. The food was exceptional! It was fun finding this place as it was just a little pink door in almost like a back street or alley way. Hate to have missed the trapeze artist!

This is a hidden gem that keeps me coming back for more. I will always make a trip to here whenever I am in town. Now they have expended and its slightly easier to get a seat. Highly recommended.

Fantastic fish! Excellent patio with view of the bay! Incredible bread! We came for a late lunch and I plan on returning for the dinner experience! Tricky to find.. inside the building and upstairs to the Pink Door. lol

No pink door, the decor was cheesy thrift store and the waiter was snooty. We went with pretty high expectations. My best friend and I are both vegetarians and I am a cook (home cook) I'm all about value, flavor, presentation and service.

There was no value, the waiter said the kitchen would make us something special, a bowl of rice noodles with a scant few steamed and mushed vegetables. No flavor, no presentation. I just can't say one nice thing about the place.

It was incredibly noisy and I have to assume that the people eating there have no idea what good food is supposed to taste like.

As a personal rant, why is it that vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free offerings are overpriced an lack any imagination what so ever.

I'm just a home cook but truthfully i could run circles around that place with my cooking with out even trying.

Let the Buyer beware

Walk too fast and you'll miss the entrance! There is a "pink" door you enter (though it is more like a peach color). My wife and I sat in the back with a window seat overlooking the sound.
A bottle of white wine was smartly served in an old #10 crab meat can and this just adds to the environment. The halibut was amazing and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp scampi.
Highly recommend and would definitely go back when we are in Seattle!

Amazing food, amazing staff and service, warm and fun ambience with just the right amount of quirk. Get a window table at the dining room if you can for an amazing view of the water, great wheel and the market. Love this place. An absolute favorite. P.S the green lasagna is bomb.

The best food we had in Seattle. All the food was sooooo good.

The place was a bit hard to find for tourist but it was fun to find this place. We went for lunch on a weekday but still waited a bit for the waiter. We were offered oysters on the house for that reason. Everything else amazing tho. Have to visit again if I'm in Seattle.

Quite a interesting entry to this place, we went searching for a pink door with no sign.
Had the lobster ravioli and the eggplant pasta for entree. The service was quick, the waiter helped us pick food.
We ended dinner on olive oil cake with orange and pomegranate sauce - it was perfect!
Rustic old school ambience, the live music after some time just builds the atmosphere up!
PS: Ask for the window seat, you might just get it like we did ! :)

Restaurant: great!
Show: not so much. CanCan is by far the better cabaret show.

We ordered the The Pink Door pizza. It was delicious, I hadn't tried a Chicago style pizza with a cornmeal crust before but I did enjoy it. The tomatoes and topping were fresh and the service was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Careful you don t walk right past it! Rather than a sign, there is simply a pink door. Pictures provided. Party of 5. Bread and olive oil, Pizza Bianca (spicy!), Caesar salad with Dungeness Crab (sub balsamic house dressing), Mizukuna salad, Linguine Allavongole (clams in white wine sauce, sub GF penne) and a side of GF bread, Chicken Marsala and Mixed Berry Pavlova. I only managed to get pictures of my two dishes people dug into their food right away. Food was good! No complaints, only left half a slice of pizza on our plates. Water was refilled frequently and service was attentive and pleasant. I loved the Decor and heard they just recently remodeled! And I managed to capture in the mirror, some of the blue fur coat that the maitre d had on (one of the pictures). Lots of the customers were rocking their own fashion styles as well. I was only bummed that I won t be in town for some of the Pink Door s upcoming performances! Trapeze artists, musicians, crooner-style singers, electric cello soloist, definitely shows I would love to see, I will have to come back. I m visiting from Portland, OR, so I m not too far.

A classic eatery that doesn't disappoint. Everything I've had here is good or great, drinks, appetizers, mains, desserts. Confident and consistent service. The inside seating is a bit loud in the evenings, especially with the live music, creating an upbeat and energetic atmosphere. The last time I was here, there were three birthdays being celebrated and a proposal being made.

OMG!!! Great cocktails!! But be careful, they are very strong!! Best oysters I've ever tried and the best prosciutto with mozzarella in town!!!
Must to try!!! I've been there couple times. 5 stars!!!!

Came here for lunch over Restaurant Week and had a great, filling meal. Fresh tasting fish, large portions, great bongo bongos for dessert and very good service. Loved the decor and ambiance. I would come back for the cabaret show I hear about.

The ambiance is great taking you back in time. The show was entertaining definitely more on the fun side than the sexy side. I had the osso bucco the dish was well cooked I would give it a 4 star only because some parts of the meer were overcooked, but the source was on point. We also had the mushroom risotto and that dish was a 3 star at beat. It was missing the earthy elements that the mushrooms brings. Frankly it was over powered by the parmigiano. Over all good experience.

For all of Seattle's great water views, there aren't a lot of restaurants that face the water. The Pink Door does, and wow, it doesn't disappoint! We came for lunch on a weekday with a group from work and I was surprised how crowded it was!

The service was great - very fast, polite and always kept my water full and plates cleared quickly. I ordered the halibut special for lunch, and although it was fine, I wasn't blown away. It was crusted on the outside, and lacked that fresh seafood flavor that comes with good fish. The dish generally lacked oomph but the presentation was lovely. I should have gotten a pasta!! My coworkers was delicious, she got the rigatoni. Highly recommend for bringing a friend or date from out of town, but stick to the pasta and pizzas.

Been going here for years. The food is great and at a reasonable price for Seattle. They recently renovated but you should still make reservations at least 3 weeks ahead, if online reservations are full call the restaurant because they may still have some openings. If they have no more openings you can be placed on a waiting list.

Really great fresh food. Got the lasagna and the flourless cake. The lasagna was really creamy and clearly used all fresh ingredients from the tomato sauce to the spinach pasta to the pesto and ricotta. Really creamy and amazing. The cake was just ok but they did a good job with the sauce and presentation. I'd stick with the Italian main dishes rather than desserts. The service was fast and friendly and it wasn't even that busy at 12:30 for lunch on a Friday in the summer!

We went here on a Monday for my brother's birthday - so glad we did. Every single staff member I interacted with was awesome. We had the osso bucco and halibut. I was impressed with both, especially the former (see picture). Since it was Monday, we were able to see Tanya, their aerialist, perform 4 times. We were in the dining area and the performance was in the lounge/bar area. Before we arrived, I was confused at how this would work..even a little stressed. Thankfully, our waitress gave us a heads up before Tanya went on and she said it was absolutely fine to walk to the lounge. We even got to sit up on a mezzanine that looked down on the floor - superb. Tanya was so impressive, the food was great, and the view was lovely. I highly recommend this place. Sit in the Lounge if you want to see the performance without worrying about timing, sit in the dining room if you want a chance to view the water. Thank you!

Amazing space, truly top notch service, and excellent food. It s hard to find great Italian food outside of Chicago at the pink door lives up to the hype everything was perfect if you re lucky you can view a burlesque show and the beautiful waterfront at pikes place.

This place is awesome. It's tucked away off a side street behind Pike's Place Market. The staff were very friendly and sociable, and the restaurant had a great vibe inside. It's literally an old fashioned pink door on a nondescript building. You enter wondering if you found the right place, only to walk down the stairs and KNOW you are in the right place! I had some oysters and absolutely loved them, and I don't even care for oysters-probably because nobody does them right in Toronto. The meatballs blew me away and the sausage was incredible. I also had the rice balls-forget the name-and would highly recommend them. Tiramisu wasn't too sweet, just right. Definitely a must visit in Seattle!

Took us a couple of tries before we found it. We passed it so many times. The atmosphere of the place is a bit hidden, where, if you're walking on Post Alley, you'll notice a pink door and when you open it, it opens up to the restaurant where then you'll walk down a set of stairs and see all the interesting decor of the place. However, its def a spot to see and dine in. I didn't have a hard time getting reservations. The server were extremely helpful and patient as well as quick. Everything was great. Amazing food. So good. I love the vibe I get when I'm there. The music playing in the background is perfect basically everything on the menu is great so you won't be disappointed. VERDICT: WORTH IT.

Luckily we ate in a relaxed restaurant without waiting and the staff was very friendly too. The menu recommended by staff was also very good. I plan to visit again when I go to Seattle.

Jackie Lew was our server, and she was great. The pictures are worth 1,000 words and I know they're empty because what we were served was so good that I had to order more bread to eat the rest of the sauce. My wife had lasagna, and I had linguine with clams and the food was excellent.

Because of the unique layout, most of the tables seemed pretty private. We got one right next to the dancer on a (sunday?) Night, and it was even more seclluded than many others. The food was pretty good, 4 or 5 star. Seevice was definetly 5 star, and thenoverall place is just so unique. Ill definetly be back, but its not a place for regular(monthly) dinners.

Service was great. Food was to die for and the restuarant was cute. We sat on the patio at night and it was beautiful, full of lights and greenery! Highly recommend... if you can find it. Its literally a random very light pink door in a alley way with no sign, atleast when we went a year ago but what a gem!

Be ready to put down some serious money. And if you go with a group know that they will not split the tab. For two of us our share came out to two hundred dollars for the same amount of food that would have cost us 60 or 70 anywhere else. Do not buy the caprese "salad" appetizer unless you want a 16 dollar over glorified sliced tomatoes with some mozorella on it. I think we got 6 slices of said tomatoe. Not what you would typically expect. We laugh about it now because of how dumb founded we were at the time.

This place fills up FAST. The decor is WONDERFUL. I absolutely love this place. I would highly recommend pairing wine with the Cheese Board Deluxe! But don't go too overboard with these tasty delights. Make sure to leave room for the main course. With a recommendation from the great waitress, I ordered the Gnocchi. I've always been a fan of the dish, and it lived up to the reviews hype! Absolutely delicious! This was a special occasion, so of course, had to order the Dom, but normally wouldn't spend so much.. The markup is restaurant typical, but went so well with every single dish.

A lovely interior and ambiance. Delicious food with an incredible performance (aerial acrobat?). Enjoyable to come different times of the year to try the different items from season to season.

Amazing food. Beautiful views. And a really wonderful atmosphere. I got a pesto lasagna to die for! My partner got one of the most savory bowls of Bolognese I've ever tasted. There was no entertainment when we were there, but it was still an awesome experience. The food is totally worth a trip here!
