Cozy atmosphere, romantic, unique entertainment, extensive wine list = great place to go with your significant other. I however went out with my childhood friend. The aerialist performs on Sunday nights - DEFINITELY WORTH IT TO GO SEE. Aside from the entertainment and ambiance, it wasn't the best restaurant. The food was lacking and the portions weren't very big for the price tag attached. However, you're paying for the atmosphere.

Great food.. Ordered brick chicken, seafood special and pizza for daughter.. Everything excellent. Fantastic ambiance, we were seated on a table with a waterfront view. The mixed drinks had fresh juice in it.. If I have to nitpick I would say the drinks were a tad sweet..

Worst dinner & show I've ever paid for. Cesar salad came out on full leaves for a salad that i had to cut up. Service was horrible. Would rather pay olive garden for itialian food. For the price go to the met or Morton's.

We searched for it a while but couldn't find it, just because of no name plate but a hardly noticeable pink door. What a restaurant!

Not only food, but service & interior design & atmosphere, all awesome. I would love to come back, and recommend.

Have eaten here twice, once with friends, once with family. Both times it provided great food, and above all a great atmosphere for enjoyable conversation. The first time we didn't reserve and the waiters were very helpful to adjust and find us a place that worked. The second time we reserved and sat outdoors, with a great view of Elliott Bay from their rooftop terrace, on a lovely, sunny day in October!

We started going to The Pink Door when it first opened and love their breakfast. They have now made it so that breakfast is available all day til 2 o'clock. They do also have a lunch menu and we really wish they were open for dinner as well. They have good-for-you food as well as a super friendly/helpful staff, that's if you can call that a downfall.

Where do I start? This is an exquisite treasure of a place!! It is the best Italian by far I have ever had in my entire life, not kidding!! We ordered a bottle of prosecco while we enjoyed the ocean view waiting for our dinner order to arrive. The atmosphere is romantic, warm, classy, and has an Italian/French feel to it. The lasagna is to die for, and the Pappardelle Al Ragu Bolognese is delicious! We couldn't pass up dessert after having such a decadent meal. We ordered the Sweet Lo's ice cream, to die for. Will definitely come back if I ever vacation in Seattle again!

I just called trying to make a reservation for my family and I for next week and I must say, the woman who answered my call at your restaurant was extremely rude. I politely asked to make a reservation and was put on hold for more than 10 mins. I hung up and called again. Your staff picked up the phone and was audibly irritated and impatient. I was told everything is booked up for a few months, however, I saw on your website some availability and I informed her of that fact. That is when Jessica became hostile and told me to "Just make the booking online then if you see it then. I don't see anything on my end". FYI, the reason I called was because I saw a comment on a forum stating online reservation is deck seating only.

I understand your restaurant is busy but this is no way to treat your potential customers. Because of this experience, we will never go to your restaurant. Hopefully in the future, you will employ nicer staff since they are the first point of contact to the public.

We went to the restaurant for the first time prior to the Sounder's match. We made an early Sunday reservation for 4, and we arrived 2-3 minutes late. They sat us promptly, and the ensuing service was of equal quality. The food was very, very good, and even one of our party said, "I would come here by myself", because his spaghetti and meatballs was so good. Even their wine list was very, very good! I had the Hahn chardonnay.

Quick service, consistent beverage refills. Overall quality of food was great. The ambience was so calm and soothing, easy to converse. The view was amazing! Pizza was delicious and easy for two people to share. Location was hard to find but it s there in between the alley.

The 2.5 hour wait was very well worth it. This is a must if you're in Seattle. An absolute MUST. Do NOT let the wait time deter you. The food is amazing and the staff is incredible. Live music was great too. Cannot say enough good things about The Pink Door.

This place is hands down the best restaurant in Seattle. The service is sometimes a little off. However this is the one restaurant who's food has surprised me many times. The food can be absolutely creative and is always delicious for a great value. Combined with the fantastic view there isn't close competition for this restaurant.

Workers aren't allowed to take breaks, burlesque show was boring. Overpriced pasta dishes, rude hostesses. Overrated restaurant overall. The patio "view" overlooks a roof, but the dining room has a nice view. Management likes to talk about how they dislike the tourists and want locals only, but no local wants to pay $20 for a plate of good, but not great pasta. Go somewhere else and your wallet and stomach will thank you!

Prompt service, friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and choice. Music or entertainer most nights, best to check first. Portions just right size with fresh cooked ingredients. Overall spot on.

Loved this off the beaten path spot! Great atmosphere, fantastic customer service, and delicious cocktails. Watermelon margarita anyone? They also have very generous portions. Gluten free options available. Reservations recommended.

The absolute best Italian restaurant in Seattle and has built only on its excellence with each year. Yes, this is where chef Tom Douglas held his wedding reception because it s that exquisitely good. Impeccable fare, appetizers, bread, wine list, cocktails, and dessert as if dreamed up and executed by a visionary, and there is such a visionary behind The Pink Door. Best bolognese I ve had from east coast to west coast and across the Atlantic, though I ve never been disappointed by any dish here yet. Enchanting, delicious.

This place is one of the best Italian restaurants I have experienced in many many years, if ever. Service was polite and friendly. Mama's meatballs are a must have as is the antipasto salad. Also we had Rum and Cokes with the BEST bread and oil garlic mixture accompanied by grilled asparagus as an appetizer! My taste buds were Soooo happy! Finally good strong coffee and Puff pastry with drizzled chocolate syrup as a chaser. Not really too hard to find, all things considered... off pink door in an alley. No signage or posted address.. BUT when you find it you will not be disappointed. AAAAHHHH

We went for branch on Tuesday, so no problem to have a table, but usually this place is crowded, specially dinner time, and on weekends.
Delicious bread with oil and balsamic vinegar for start, refreshing cocktails, pasta... Must try.

Not sure what happened here but I think I got food poisoning from the leftovers. It was great in the restaurant and service was good but the food ended up not agreeing with my stomach the next day...

With a wonderful aerial performance during dinner, this was a great cozy restaurant and bar that may be hard to find but is considered a staple of Seattle culture. Set in the Pike Place area, The Pink Door creates a fun ambiance of intimate conversation and a lovely staff. We' will definitely be coming back here again for the delicious food, performances every night, and impeccable service.

The best thing about the Pink Door besides the food is sitting outside and watching the sunset. Finding the place was even a little adventure. After walking around and exploring the wharf all day, we kept hearing about the Pink Door so we hunted it down and didn't regret it! I do feel obligated to mention the day we were there the water was terrible, the tables around us also complained (we switched to wine).

This place was nifty! Loved the whimsical decor, charming waitstaff, and delicious food.

We ordered:

Blistered Asparagus. Dining companions devoured most of it before it got to me so no photo, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this dish. The asparagus was well seasoned and cooked to the perfect texture. The tasty eggs and prosciutto added flair.

Garlic Bread. This was okay. The bread was charred which gave it a nice smokiness, but it was not flavorful enough.

Cioppino Pink Door. I expected that their signature dish would not disappoint, and I was absolutely right. The clams, mussels, calamari, prawns, and fish were all delicious, but the broth just knocks the whole experience out of the park. It was flavorful, complex and interesting, without being overpowering. I loved it so much I had to tilt the bowl so I could spoon up every last scrumptious drop. That segues to the best and worst thing about this dish: it does not come with any pasta, bread, or other sort of carby goodness! On the one hand this is a light yet satisfying dish that is perfect all on its own, and I should really be grateful for the lack of additional calories (see: huge serving of tiramisu for dessert); but on the other hand I was a bit taken by surprise and found myself wishing for something to sop up the delightful broth with.

Tiramisu. The serving size was shockingly large and made me feel immense guilt for indulging in such sinful gluttony. It was delicious though - can't go wrong with something so classic!

I also had the mocktail with strawberry puree, lemon juice, and a splash of balsamic vinegar. It was sweet and tart and sublime.

Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant. The meal came out to be a bit pricey but was well worth it. Add in the great service and beautiful decor, I'm sure it'll be a good time for anyone. They also have performances in the evenings, which I plan on returning for!

The menu was not a good menu for an Italian restaurant the food was good but there was no entertainment it was crowded we waited over 3 hours for our meal and we had reservations very inconvenient not what it is cracked up to be definitely not as good as people seem to think it is I thought it was horrible got to go there for my birthday what a disappointment and add salt to the wound it was very expensive

I had heard word of mouth that this restaurant was spectacular but exclusive and hard to get into but unfortunately it seems as though the restaurant relies on that reputation rather than the food or service. The asparagus starter lacked flavor. The Pink Door Lasagna was tasty but not very filling. The attitude of the wait staff was snobby. Given the option, I would have chosen somewhere else for dinner.

Also, a sign above the door to the outdoor patio read "this door to remain unlocked during business hours" and I cant say for sure whether it was unlocked or not because there was a table blocking it... potentially unsafe if people needed to exit quickly.

A friend brought me here for a quick antipasto platter before we moved on to a show elsewhere. Our tray was absolutely delicious! We also had the arancini, which was absolutely legendary! I will be back to try as many things from the menu as I possibly can! #foodie #letsguide

Dinner was okay, very busy place and can get very loud. Hard to find for us, it was dark and raining and we walked right past the first time (no sign that I could see, just the pink door). Wife had the rib-eye steak and said it was great, but at $60, it should be. I had rigatoni with meatballs and it was above average, but nothing that would make me come back for more. Service was good, almost overly attentive from the guy filling the water glasses though. If you prefer southern Italy style fare, heavy on seafood, you might enjoy it, but if you are looking into more northern Italy style fare like I do, keep looking.

Great, classic restaurant of Seattle located right in the heart of the city on Post Alley, just behind The Pink Door, hence the name of this secretive little spot. We went on a Sunday evening, where in the bar area of the restaurant you can find acrobatic ballet performances. The restaurant is Italian themed with home made pastas and large chops of meat and seafood. The pappardelle was good, but their Lasagna lives up to its reputation as the best in the city. The Caesar, is classic, but the technique is on point and should definitely be ordered. We also ordered the special diver sea scallops, which were cooked PERFECTLY, and set atop a bed of polenta gnocchi. The food here is excellent and served in a beautiful setting. They aren t doing anything crazy here like the rest of Seattle may be moving towards, but they are doing originals the right way. A must try for all Seattle locals and visitors alike.

If you want a quintessential dining experience, make a reservation on OpenTable at The Pink Door. It's in an alley close to Pike Place Market. Before you get to an unmarked pink door, you'll pass several small windows where you can look down on the diners eating at candle lit, white clothed tables. Once you go through the pink door and down the stairs, you'll enjoy a great dining experience.

Every table gets a sizeable loaf of bread and olive oil. Our table got the antipesto and it was enough for the three of us to share. For dinner, I got the strozzapreti di zucca with spicy leek and pumpkin. It was good and filling. To drink, their French 75 was amazing!

They also do live music at 9PM in the lounge and no matter where you're dining, you should be able to enjoy the music.

We unfortunately did not have a great experience. My dish was extremely bland I asked for salt that our waiter never brought. Our water glasses never got refilled. Overall a disappointment though friends that have tried it loved it. Possibly a one off bad experience.

I love the location of this little restaurant! My boyfriend and I just stumbled upon it while walking through the Post Alley and it was definitely a pleasant surprise!

We were able to nab a reservation online so we were seated in the outdoor seating area, which was amazing! Enjoying a lovely dinner and being able to watch a sunset at the same time was a great way to spend a romantic evening with a loved one. Our server was very attentive and helpful, and the food was excellent.

The Pink Door is known for having trapeze shows and burlesque shows on certain nights, so be sure to check their website to find out their full schedule! Burlesque shows are on Saturday nights, but they don't take reservations for the shows.

Overall, The Pink Door is a great option for a romantic dinner or just to enjoy the night out!

One great Italian chef once told me that you never stop learning about how to cook risotto. At Pink Door we found a terrific risotto with truffles. The atmosphere is romantic and ambiance modern. Good wine selection.

I still have a soft spot for this place! Used to live in Seattle and had been coming here for well over 20 years. We recently met friends here for dinner and sat out on the patio which I highly recommend. Pasta dishes were fantastic as well the anti pasta. All very fresh. Great service too
