Bring your appetite because portions are large. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

Tower is always a great place to go. Whenever I have out of town guests I bring them to Tower knowing we will have an excellent meal. Save room for dessert! And the coffee drinks are outstanding!

This place is wonderful! We live in Modesto and drive to Sacramento just to eat here, the environment is just perfect the food is incredible and the staff is great.

Nice place to hangs with friends and have breakfast or lunch.

Service is excellent even when they are busy. Prices are decent. This place has good reviews for a reason.

Wonderfully eclectic and warm atmosphere, generous wine pours, tasty and creative dishes and friendly professional service.

Atmosphere is a bit unpleasant. If you're outdoors, there will be flies. Especially annoying in the summer time with the addition of hot weather. If you're indoors, it will be noisy.

The bakery has reasonable prices and the meals are in large proportions.

Would not recommend their tuna melt.
Fries definitely need some work and consistency. Some were well-seasoned and very flavorful while others seemed not to be seasoned at all.

Great experience! This busy, beautiful and eclectic establishment has amazing food, great lively atmosphere, + wonderful service. Come early as there is usually quite a line for brunch on the weekends, no reservations.

Another local favorite of mine for brunch! This place has lovely (heated) outdoor seating for cooler days as well as the option of eating inside. The service is great and the food is fantastic!

Breakfast is heavenly.....French toast is the best I've ever had! Melts in your mouth. Yummy!!!

Went for lunch on the high recommendation of friends. Ordered the French toast and wife had eggs potatoes. We requested one thing PLEASE MAKE SURE THE FOOD IS HOT WE DON'T NEED TO EAT TOGETHER. waitress walked around talking to other staff. I just happened to be seated so I could see tickets were pulling up 30 minutes. Food arrives ICE COLD. Now let's just think about this. My potatoes were pre cooked, bacon pre cooked eggs made to order. Food arrives ICE COLD. That's because no one went back to check to see if it's ready!
French toast....bland at best. Come on! It's a cafe. This what you do .

This place is a local landmark. The plush garden and water features give this spot a super relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The food is pretty good and the service is great. It is worth checking it out at least once. Strongly recommend.

Great eat out place, unusual and unique! I loved it!)

I had the East African veggie burger which was ok, but the breakfast potatoes on the side was delicious. The Malaysian chicken burger is tasty. This place has a nice ambiance and decor especially the outdoor seating area. It gets really busy there so I recommend arriving early.

I paid for avocado. Got 2 of the thinnest and saddest slivers... But the 1star rating is really for the lousy garden service. My disabled mum and my small son and I had to sit there as the heat burgeoned after finishing our meal. After going inside twice we finally got our bill. Then waited an absurd amount of time to get our credit card back. Shameful.

The ambiance was great. The service good and the food was okay.

Haven't been there many times but have really enjoyed it. There is a good selection of things for dinner. I haven't gone for brunch yet but have heard it's great. Yummy food, good service, nice outdoor area when the weather is good. Definitely would recommend it !

My mom and go there for their seasonal French toast. So delicious ... Served w a friut compote, whip cream and fruit. It is not a quiet place to have breakfast but friendly staff and great people watching.

Tasty food with an Eclectic menu. It has the best patio in California in my opinion and is absolutely a destination place if someone from out of town is visiting. Even conservative rednecks could appreciate the beauty of the patio, but this is a liberal/progressive safe-haven. :)

Very popular restaurant in Sac. Very nice environment but too noisy since it's usually packed with customers (hard to have a conversation with friends). Food is ok in my humble opinion but that's just me. Everyone I know in Sacramento love and enjoy this popular landmark restaurant

Waitress was nice but too busy to provide good customer service. No water refill.... boooo!

My vote for the best restaurant in Sacramento! Try their thai steak in all its forms (steak & eggs, salad, or dinner plate), it will change you. You will either love or hate the intense world vibe decor. Also don't miss their amazing dessert case, and spectacular craft cocktails. Not every menu features a bellini. Hugely recommended!

Great food, sampled 4 things from the people we came with and everything was outstanding! The best part for sure was the atmosphere, cool things from all around the world hanging on the walls, it was a great experience.

Good food, SUPER busy, prices were ok, lots of menu options, and desserts are delicious. The inside and outside are filled with plants and misc decorations which makes it fun to go inside.

Just o.k. atmosphere was over the top. Nice when you can sit outside with the heaters. Food was o.k. at best. Service was awesome.

Pretty good!! Large portions. And beautiful outside, it's like your in a mini forest. But it was a little slow at getting my food and it was a little cold. Good thing l wasn't on any time frame, but most of all l will come again.

Great place for breakfast and the Court yard is delightful.

My favorite restaurant!!! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, it's all delicious. I've ordered many different things on their menu and I am happy with their food quantity, quality and flavors. It is nice to sit outside when the weather permits. Also have vegetarian and gluten free options. My kids enjoy this place as well. It's always a joy to come here!!!

The food is good though nothing out of this world, the staff is amazing but the prices are pretty high for what you actually get which is why I give it 4 stars.

Other than the long wait, this was a pretty good breakfast place. Great French Toast.

Food was so delicious. The service here is better than most. The place has a good atmosphere.

Had the Thai skirt steak. Steak and vegetables was ok. Rice was way too soggy. They sat a homeless person next to our table and ruined our appetite. Having doubts about returning.

Great destination for special occasions. Cornmeal pancakes are wonderful. Very crowded so be patient; it is worth the wait.

Dinner was great. The banana cream pie has no bananas in it at all. It was banana pudding with cream topping and white sweet shavings. So disappointed with the pie... We ate their on August 14, 2018.

It's a local landmark and well worth a visit. Everything we've had there has been very good. Service is good as well, even when they're busy. And you won't believe the funky chic decor! We especially enjoy having breakfast there.

Expect to wait 45 minutes. Very delicious and worth the wait!

Great service. Food is ok but it seems every dish on the menu has one ingredient that just doesn't quite work. Trying to hard to be California cuisine and over doing it.

Got there about 11:30 a.m. wanted breakfast they had french toast eggs and bacon only at that time. Pretty standard. But outside area very cute and cozy!

The food is great, the atmosphere is spectacular, and the plates come with a filling meal to which you'll probably need a to-go box. Gotta check it out.
