An amazing place. Also all types of animals and as a family enjoy themselves very much.

The animals are in great places and really enjoyable there. It's better not to take a train on foot than it is interesting. There are places to enter, and for example the Lions can be fed. Of course, for a small fee you will get a glass of food for them. (The one I ate stole my glass, a little chutzpah)

We really enjoyed our visit. Needed something to enjoy away from down town for 3 hours while my husband ran the marathon. Wow, we were delighted at every turn and the train is only 1 dollar!!! So worth the visit.

The garden is spread over a huge area .. There are so many species of animals .. There are detailed explanations next to each animal

Great zoo. Huge complex, wide variety of exhibits. Worth coming early to beat the heat and the crowds.

The zoo is spacious, well-kept, enjoyable, varied and suitable for any age.

Feels like a tropical forest, a huge place with an abnormal variety of animals of all kinds, lots of benches, lots of green, natural therapy for anyone in need of one.

An excellent zoo, with a big number of species. The animals are kept in relatively new and big yards. A great place for the children and not only. There are also public feedings and trainings along the day. Personally, I prefer it even more than Safari zoo in Ramat Gan. Although, Safari is also great.

Excellently laid out zoo. Animals all look happy and healthy. Downside is that there is a lot of walking, and relatively steep hills.

The famous Noah's Ark is less spectacular and even boring, but the journey to it is rich in animals through which Noah's box story is known, and that covers it up. It's good to have a nearby train station. The restrooms require more cleaning (we arrived at the very opening of the gates and it was still relatively dirty). It is worth checking their site for opening hours and feeding times.
Also recommends that people who live close to subscribe, because most things to see want to come back again and again.

So if you are debating what to do on Shabbat or during vacation with the children - completely the Biblical Zoo.

Beautiful gardens well kept and clean with great petting zoo, park and sculpture garden. Needs more accessible parking and some of the habitats are very underfunded and a bit depressing like for the cheetah.

Great Zoo. Just the location is only reachable by car or bus and has many traffic jams. In the Zoo the cages should be located closer together and little smelling and dangerous gasoline cars forbidden inside the Zoo. Take horse carriage! Much more fitting.

It was really fun to visit the zoo, just as a mature couple. The garden presents a great variety of animals from all over the world. I also enjoyed having a separate area for living out of our districts. Not that he is more beautiful or impressive, but feels like an authentic connection to the earth. A great place for a family holiday, all the attributes for this are present. Possibility to get to the place by public transport (buses, taxis and train) and by car (there is a large free parking lot). Family tickets and season tickets, discounts for children, pensioners and invalids. A fairly large (for Israel, of course) zoo, many different animals, birds and fish. Large terrarium.
I do not recommend visiting the zoo during holidays or holidays, quite a lot of people, but not critically, I just prefer to quietly wander, without hurry! There are squares and playgrounds, tables and benches, which is convenient for rest and picnic. Food in the zoo is not very, but it is possible to order from the outside, or bring it with you.

Amazing Zoo, need more Kiosks, souvenir shops and WCs spread around. Aquarium, not open yet, looks fantastic. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Animals well cared for. Great selection, all in natural habitat. (Unlike some zoos that give the Polar Bears ice!)

The Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem is a wonderful place for families with children and youth, pleasant and well organized, with a wide variety of well-maintained animals, with a number of services available for wheelchairs and carts (excluding the internal train).

One of the most equitable zoos I have ever seen, huge from any zoo in the country, neat and very clean, with a wide variety of animals not seen everywhere

The place has a great potential in the future but it is still getting things ready.
Many fish are missing, most displays feel empty if they are not actually empty.
I would revisit in a year or so to see the progress made.
There is surely lots of investement and the staff is very educated.

The zoo is super, I advise everyone, time flies by. A lot of territory, a lot of animals

But a little criticism:
The kiosk is quite expensive and the parking is terrible, so try not to arrive at busy hours because it comes out of the desire.

Large area of the zoo. Natural conditions for animals. Issue cards with routes designed for 1-2-3 hours of free time. All animals are listed there. Very convenient to go.

Jerusalem Bible Zoo is a favorite place for walks of the capital's youth, the elderly and especially young children. Especially many young couples come here with children, strollers, food and drinks. They sit on the grass, eat, drink, relax. Nearby breathe rhythmically, blow winds, make sounds various animals and birds, lizards and boa constrictors. There are elephants with trunks, the Sumatran tiger, and the whole corner of Africa, where an astonished visitor walks along the hard-knocked bridges over the heads of zebras, roe deer, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, marabou and other African fauna, which the Africans themselves have already fed up with.

Neat and very well organized, routes and convenient access roads, animal watching very convenient.

Beautiful, very well maintained. The children (1-11 yrs.) were highly excited to see the vast variety of animals. We spent the day there from noon to 5pm, and still didn't see everything.
It was a very busy Saturday, however, didn't feel too packed. Had some snacks from home to take a small break once in a while. We enjoyed our time a lot!

It's nice enough, but the ark was a let down. A lot of the water in various exhibits was slimy and stagnant. It looked like the zoo needed more upkeep.

I love this place and plan to return many times in the future. I went with my children and grandchildren. We took with a picnic lunch and haven't yet tried the cafe. I have heard it is expensive but didn't check it out. Everyone young and old had a wonderful time and even though we arrived at lunch time and left at closing time there are many animals we still need to see. The grounds and animals are very well cared for (toilets less) and the information about the animals well presented.

I was in the aquarium about a year ago. About half of the cells were stucco (in my opinion they had already filled them), but I loved it, all in all.
