Beautiful and organized place, very suitable for strolls, large selection of animals of all kinds. It is advisable to apply up to 4 or 5 hours to cover the entire garden. It is best to arrive early. Free parking is great and free near the place.

One of the most beautiful and locals' favourite places in Jerusalem, for all the ages and from all social economy sectors. Spacious campus, beautiful landscape, a lot of green and, of course, a wide selection of animals make this a must visit place for kids and adults. There are a lot of drinking fountains but I'd advise to bring lunch as there is only small kiosk with food (and it will obviously cost you double to buy there). For small children might be tiresome as it involves a lot of walking. Beware it might get very crowded during holidays and vacations, it will be less felt when you're already inside as the area is very big but waiting in the line to get to the parking and finding parking slot might turn into a quite painful experience, in those days consider coming by public transport or coming early.
Amazing and beautiful place. Kids really enjoy us, too. Most fun to walk in the afternoon, when the sun is setting and there is a pleasant Jerusalem spirit.
Amazing zoo !!! All the animals look groomed, healthy and happy! Unlike other zoos ... Even the zoo safari did not look so good! It's really fun to hang out with the kids. The place is clean and inviting, and not oppressive! There is not much parking so it is recommended to arrive early, when opened.
An expansive garden, a huge variety of wildlife and vegetation experience for young and old, shaded picnic areas, you can spend an entire day there and still not exhaust the place. Clear signage and cooling points for the hottest days. Just a pity that the selling points (robbers) instead charge high and illogical amounts and justify their name ....
I do not know if you can surprise someone with a zoo? But this zoo surprised me! There are a lot of different animals that are very well groomed and it seems that you can reach them by hand. Predators which can be photographed not through the glass and the grid, they walk in open pens. They got on feeding elephants, which turned out to be a whole show. Our daughter really liked it.
The biblical zoo experience in Jerusalem was amazing! Located next to Givat Masua neighborhood, lots of plants in the garden, amazing animals and the happy staff who are always available for any questions in the garden. Highly recommend a visit, amazing feeling and stay with life experiences ...
The zoo has alot of amazing animals but many of the exibits you will not see the animals . We asked where they were and apparently they were hiding from the heat. Trolly ride is descent .
Unique zoo. Great for kids and adults. Lots of kids activities, playgrounds and places to explore. Nice visitor's center with cafeteria, designed as Noah's Ark. A motorized train takes visitors on a circular route. The park is stroller and wheelchair-accessible.
Very well equipped for families, especially with small children. A great playground, small petting area, several snack bars and many picnic tables, sometimes tucked away behind shrubbery. The Biblical portion has some of the most fascinating animals.
Well-maintained and beautifully located place. Spacious and reasonably clean enclosures. The animals are well maintained and in good condition. The territory is clean and tidy.
A perfect zoo. A stunning variety of animals. A large petting zoo and a playground, make for an experience for the children. The only drawback is that in order to find real food, go back to the garden entrance. In the cafeteria in the center of the garden there are only snacks. The animals, too, seem to be well cared for and fun to eat. Highly recommended, large and small
Good, really nice walk, just a bit hot but not the zoos problem. Good size and kids enjoyed although we only stayed half a day. Would come back to finish other parts.
Lovely Biblical zoo with range of animals, birds, primates and more. Beautifull green places for a rest under an olive tree's shadow in summer day. Recommend to spend a whole day when temperature is below 30 degrees. Very nice helpful staff. Compatible for children above 3 years old. Take things for picnic too.
Very noce place to visit with couple or family, you can see lot of animals with a good condition they look happier then in many other zoo's that I saw in the world, the staff are kind and you can find bathrooms close to each place you will go.
Both kids rate this as a 5 star zoo! Free parking was available outside, very large area, nice looking playground. We spent 2.5 hours and saw nearly all the animals.
Great place to spend time with kids, but not on hot or mid-summer days. The observation places for the "animal cages" are without shading.
The whole place is accessible to wheelchairs and baby carts, lots of picnic areas and grass to sit.
what is missing? If you brought a cooler you won't find a place to leave it, for example a locker, even for a fee, and have to put it away in the garden. Nice buffet hand at the entrance, I didn't notice what the prices were.
The place is clean, almost European level!
Parking: There are many. But on Saturday when we arrived at eleven o'clock, and open at ten, everything was already occupied ... and of course on Saturday there was no option but to come by private car. It was requested that the garden operate stalks from nearby parking lots. For example of the train.
Very sparse, almost nonexistent, the garden itself has more fish ... Tight training that is very rigorous and flexible is mandatory At Thessalonians we were terribly disappointed Hoping it's just opening difficulties
There is a zoo, representing relatives and so are the animals. Not as many walks as in Safari and it's best to arrive during feeding hours. There is a difficulty with parking
Great zoo. Enough animals to spend four hours there (with lunch in there), friendly environment. We went on a relatively warm day but there is a lot of shade. The kids favorite exhibits were the monkeys, obviously. The leopard was very angry maybe because of the heat. Will be going back soon.
Just an amazing zoo. I'll start from the negative - the prices are too high for my taste. Almost 60 NIS per adult is a lot, but it is the most spectacular zoo in Israel, the animals are well groomed and cared for, the cages and facilities are clean and it seems that animals are being treated properly.
A fun place to be. There are new compounds that I did not know. The baboon monkey compound. Everything is very friendly. There are interesting improvements such as entering the cage by entering a small underground tunnel that goes out to the cage surface and you can see the animals very closely through a protective glass cover. I was impressed that the kiosk was not very expensive. And the important thing is that you can enjoy the zoo on Saturday.
One of the most special and planned places in the country, there is no good restaurant and ice cream parlor ... The food places there are expensive and unpleasant.
Just the most serene and beautiful zoo I've ever seen in my life. All the animals seemed so happy and would approach you. There is an extensive amount of animals, more than I expected. There is no decent food there so make sure you pack your own.
It is always fun to visit here, the children enjoy, green, cozy, have large expanses so even if there are a lot of visitors the thing is usually not noticeable, in short the most equal place in Jerusalem for families
The most shaded areas in the country for the benefit of the animals !! More shaded corners for the guests was nice !!! The most loved and I quote movie ::: "Everyone has a job, the guest workers work and the animals live"
