I haven't been here for so long but as far as I remember the place is fine.

overall an excellent zoo, apart from male elephant and few of the larger birds had small amount of space, good conservation in practice and well laid out zoo.

A special atmosphere of nature and calm in the hustle and bustle of the city, swans in the lake, lots of green in the eyes, different animals, connecting you to nature and other senses, peace of mind

Simple zoo uniforms There are all lions penguins tigers and more even there at 11:00 on Saturday feeding the lions and it was interesting shot and also there is feeding of penguins at 12:00 on Saturday and all sorts of things there are even good wolves in short This zoo is just a perfect experience For the whole family

Nice and nice entertainment for the whole family. Ticket prices are not cheap. The aquarium should be ordered separately via the internet only.

Wow what a place. Without a doubt the best zoo in the country. Me and my daughter visited the place for about 3.5 hours and we're still unable to cover more then about 50% of it.well maintained, many different types of animals and sections by countries. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, tropical, green, Jerusalem zoo that should be. There are ups and downs, so for those who find it difficult to get organized on accessories before, children, strollers .... we will definitely be back, there is a taste of more left.

There is also an enclosure where rainforests have been simulated with creatures from the tropics.

The zoo has its own railway station.

It has a bus stop that can be reached from different parts of Jerusalem via the public bus network

There is an internal transportation facility within the zoo that looks like a train, available for 3 shekels.

There is a particular bird enclosure where one can feed the birds.

It is a large zoo. Be prepared to walk if one wants to see most of it.

There are a few cafeterias. I would suggest to get packed pre cooked meals and use the facility available on the deck of the Noah's Ark to have lunch, if one wants to.

There are two Sumatran tigers that one must not miss.

The petting place in the kid's zoo allows children to get close to goats, sheep, fowls and a breed of horse that's small in stature.

Have fun at this place, which is also known as the Biblical zoo.

Very nice entertainment for the whole family:
- the footbridge over the "savannah land" enables a close approach to animals
- tunnels in the "underground land" is a unique idea for sneaking into the middle of a pack of ground squirrels or meerkats, do not miss the entrance to the pipes
- a large (for Israel) playground
- curious animals in the "small zoo", beware of belts or bags
- a pool to watch penguins
- works all year, "in winter" is going on here as much as in summer, and there is no heat
It is not worth going on a children's train, almost nothing can be seen along the way, and you can, for example, not go back from the forced stop at the boring "Noah's Ark"

Boring and too much Orthodox visiting this place instead of working and serving in idf. You won't see many secular Israelis there unfortunately

Good place to take kids, some really interesting parts and exotic animals. There is almost zero food so pack your own lunch.

The only thing that needs to change is the cashier .. She has no patience and not at all kind.

Zoo nicely between the Jerusalem hills with stunning views, very large spaces and a lot of walking between the cages, then you should use a cart or even a bicycle. Lots of animals, you should bring food because there is only one kiosk at the entrance, but plenty of seats along the route. Admission is expensive and no discounts. Also open on Saturday

Wonderful zoo, with new exhibits each year. Easy to get around, and there is a tram available for those who don't want to walk around the entire zoo.

What's not to like about the bible zoo?
You might want to bring in a little more regulation of arriving during the spring and summer days as is done in the neighboring aquarium. So there is more parking, and less crowding on the trails.

are good. I definitely got a positive experience from the place.
I was a kid the last time I was there and the trees were very low. Low to a level where there was no drop of shade and I wanted to die of the heat.
On the other hand ... today the place in one word - amazing - we enjoyed every moment! Without noticing we were there for over 5 hours until they announced the place was closing.
Can't see the safari from half a meter! All animals within touching distance. The place is clean and tidy. Because of the corona arrival in coordination through the site and therefore also no crazy loads. There is an employee whose whole job is to clean the shop windows and that's why we also see all the animals properly (and not as blurry as in the Ramat Gan safari) in short .. we will definitely be back !!

Arrive with plenty of water and a hat (although there are plenty of drinking spots scattered)
Bring food - there are lots of nice corners to sit in
If you have an option - arrive by train! Also a crazy experience for kids. It also saves the hassle of finding parking and even if coming from outside Jerusalem it saves traffic jams and a long drive.

Unique zoo. It is designed to be a part of the mountain's landscape. Considebly small to other zoos in big cities but that is a part of the charm. It has many cool places for kids to explore and enjoy. Great to take the kids and adults. Bring your own food. Too expensive

Although the place is running, I expected more. I thought there wouldn't be a lot of fish and there really was no disappointment. I was expecting a cleaner place, store (maybe closed on Saturday?), Expecting the aquariums not to be dirty. I did not expect to see typical Israeli work in the composition of the place - quite a few non-quality finishes.
I hope the repairs, doubt it will be. I guess not too many years ago, will be filthy and a shame.

A five star zoo that is a great time for the whole family. At the far left side of the zoo there is a "Noah's Ark" with some exhibits inside and a snack bar at the top. (Also bathrooms)
