They booze was reasonably priced and there was a fun crowd but the floors were exceptionally sticky everywhere

There's three floors here. One for dancing, one for lounging, one for chilling. So a little bit of everything for everyone. So it's a jack of all trades a master of none kind of place.

Awesome freaking bar in Gaslamp, had an amazing bartender on the first floor, but don't recall her name. There is a cover charge here, but more than worth just for the experience and club lower level.

This place has so many things to entertain everyone, they play a variety of music, so a little something for everyone! They have games, Foosball, a pool table, etc.. The decor is like something out of an Edgar Allen Poe story so that is always fun. Best part if you want to get super loose check out the basement bar downstairs that is where you will find everyone getting down to the latest music!

This is definitely a Patriot's bar! I'm not a fan, but our friend is and we had a blast during the Superbowl! I would suggest that the bar move the huge couches out of the way for the game next year to make more room for temporary chairs, but the couches were comfortable for those who got in line early enough. The server was nice and the bartenders as well!

I come to the Tipsy Crow pretty often. It's definitely a different bar. The drink exchange is pretty cool. It's kind of like stocks with alcohol. Not too bad. It's a great hang out place with food, games, and great music. I recommend it to anyone that wants to try a different kind of bar.

Tipsy is a Boston bar, so Patriots fans come here during football season. I do like the Pats, but I'm rarely here for that, so I can barely speak for that scene.

Tipsy is actually one of my go-to spots in downtown for weekend turn-ups. Been here so many times that some bouncers know my face. Cover charge is between 5-10. Ambiance is level 7 of 10 brightness with dark wooden everything. I wouldn't call it a full-on Irish pub though--probably not even full-on.

When you enter you see the main bar immediately. You can sit at the bar or at the window for street view. If you pass by the bar towards the bathroom there is booth seating, foosball table, and a bathroom. I think there are some coffee table-sized arcade games right by too.

Next to the bathroom are steps that lead to a basement with another bar. Keep going and there's a dance floor and a small stage. I think they use this stage for something like standup comedy on those non-busy weekdays. It has seats usually reserved for bottle service. You can dance on this stage. Lights and lasers are coordinated with the music; you also sometimes get the dry ice smoke spray when the beat drops. My high school buddy's husband DJs on the regular--im assumimg he's about 31-32 years old--so he plays alot of 90s and early 2000s jams with EDM between. Great balance of good stuff.. There is no AC so when packed it gets hot, humid, and sweaty unless you stay on certain areas of the floor where ceiling fans blow. Everywhere else outside the basement is cool.

There are stairs at the entrance to the 2nd floor where there is another bar, couches, more booths, a fire place, pool table, and another (1 person only) bathroom. Lots of places to lounge. Saw Connect-4 at one of the booths.

Shoot, even the food is good. I remember having some kind of turkey BLT sandwhich that came with tomato bisque. Bomb. I'm craving it now.

This place, in short, has everything. You can't go wrong unless you've been here 3 weekends in a row-- but you'll come back anyways!

When we went, the upstairs was closed but the main floor and basement was open. I thought it was fine--the drinks were good and the food was okay, just didn't like it as much as some of the other restaurants and bars we visited in San Diego. Worth checking out, maybe not on a Sunday when the upstairs is closed.

It was a fun experience watching the patriots play here! Slow service but fun atmosphere.

The upstairs area is really cool, but definitely ask how much a drink is beforehand. Beer is reasonably priced, but two whiskeys that should have been maybe $25 tops wound up costing $100!

Take advantage of the stock exchange happy hours. Something for everyone! Upstairs offers a bit quieter place to play pool and chat,the middle floor allows for meeting people and games I'd you wish to grab a table and the bottom floor offers a fun (though very hot) place to dance after nine.

Great atmosphere and 3 awesome levels of fun. All 3 floors have their own bar; top floor being the lounge area with a pool table, ground floor being a simple type of bar with some games and with stairs leading to the basement/dance floor.

My girlfriend and I along with some friends were there this past weekend and man is the bottom floor poppin! The DJ who I assume is there every weekend, plays a great variety of music, mostly early 2000's pop and rap along with some old throwbacks. If you enjoy a great atmosphere and variety of dance music but also enjoy just hanging out while the rest of your party dances, this is a definitely must see!

Also, I could be wrong but I assume there is a cover fee after 9pm? But it'll only cost you about 5 bucks. Definitely give this place a shot though, as it is just down the street from the Horton plaza parking garage on F street. Tell em Uriel sent you! 3 levels of fun... the basement has a hip hop type dance club the first floor has tables and games and it's a more social scene while the second floor is a Long Bar with seats meant for more of a talking Kickback kind of time

Very cool music bar, good beer and meal at the counter. Concert guitars voice. Do not forget his identity card requested at the entrance as each pub often states. Gaslamp district very lively.

Has connect 4 and jenga on the tables and a lot of good craft beers on tap. We had margaritas and long island's and both were great :)

The basement has great dance music, but attracts a crowd of clumsy, disrespectful men and young women who don't know their limit, which has consistently interfered with the good time myself and my friends had been having

Average bar in the Gaslamp area. Nothing too flashy, the bartenders are friendly. They have games and such to play at some tables, and sometimes have a cover on busy nights.

Just another bar downtown. It used to be the Bitterend and it feels the same. The building and interior are pretty cool with a historic craftsman feel, but that is the best part. Not a bad spot to stop downtown just not really special.

I love this place and have been going here every Friday for the past year but recently I have been harassed upon entry by the bouncer out front. Last night a group of folks were looking for the entry line and when I pointed it out he proceeded to jump down my throat and disrespect the hell out of me. Like I said though I love this place for it's ability to deliver multiple levels of entertainment but I'm now considering finding a new spot, there is nothing like a good buzz kill to ruin a good night out

The staff here is so rude. Their drinks are a good price because they have barely any liquor in them. I will never return to the Tipsy Crow again. I am appalled by their horrible service.

This place is amazing! You can find it on the corner of 5th and F street. This place gets pretty packed most of the time, so get there early! They have a great selection of beer (even though I am not a beer drinker myself), great drink specials, and more. It's definitely not your average bar though. It's three stories, so there's room to lounge out, dance, and just have a good time. They have a pool table, connect four games and more. So it's a great place to have fun, get drunk, and be loud!

Best NE Patriots bar in SD. Could have been a one-star review, but the Pats won and clinched the AFC East, so 5-stars. Just kidding, the Tipsy Crow is always 5-star just for being there for us fans, serving Sam Adams, Lobstah rolls, and chowdah, and playing Dropkick Murphy's music. Wicked good place for Pats' games.

Great atmosphere fantastic beer and whisky selection . We sat at main level hightop table by the front door. Three security guards on duty , all freindly and welcoming good first impression. Was there on a Sunday night , male bartender was on top of his game, good prompt service , i asked the girl to see a whisky list with pricing as they had a nice top shelf selection. She responded with ,"i dont have one here, they should have them upstairs". Not the response i was hoping for. With two bartenders behind the bar she should have retrieved one for us. On that note finished our pints and headed down the street.

This place is horrible. They are so disrespectful. They ruined my night.

Great service but it smelled like a dirty bar rag and the food was terrible.

Great place for a drink but I feel the staff can be a hit or miss depending on the night. You won't find a super young and restless crowd here but you'll have a good drink.

Tipsy crow is a really cool place. I hate paying to get in at night, but whatever. The stock exchange idea is super cool, prices of drinks fluctuate based on how many are ordered. Watch the board and you can get some great deals!

Between good drinks, shuffleboard and all of the other activities to do, you can't beat this place!

1st time was awesome we had a really cool male bartender. 2nd time was horrible. all of our tabs got mixed up. If you re in a group make sure you open your separate tab BEFORE you order. And make sure to close out your tab if you move from the seating tables to the bar stools. They re two different sections handled by two different waiters/bartender. They are horrible at coordinating and you ll be stuck trying to figure out who ordered what while you re buzzing. and the waitress had the nerve to be annoyed with me (shaking my head)

Went to catch what was advertised as drink like the 1% on the website. Supposed to use the Bull Market Drink Exchange featuring lots of discounted high-end spirits the fun starts at 8PM til Close - Came in a bit early to find that it was Whisky Wednesday instead. By 8:20 they still did not have the menu changed. Left early disappointed and wishing we had gone somewhere else.

Pricey, but great stock market concept. Cool upscale little joint with a dope basement that gets crazy AF.

This place is a definite must to go to if you want a while range of atmospheres at one place. There's the main bar where you can order food or just chill at the bar and have a fun time getting blasted playing the drinking game. Then head downstairs for a basement club that plays top 100/edm to have a great time. When your all wore out go upstairs to the relaxed lounge area and play some pool while you cool off and get your second wind. This is all available every Thursday!

A must-see for those passing through, the bar is very unique and has a lot of little details in it that you don't get at other bars. There are 3 stories and the atmosphere on each one is a little different. The music was a mix of old and new, but all great stuff. They could probably use a few more places to mingle, I felt like I was always standing in someones way, but it was pretty crowded that night. All in all, definitely a good place to stop.
