I always love going to the Tipsy Crow! It may be in the touristy part of town but it's always a good time. Love their 3 different levels with different vibes. The drink pricing is unique and everyone is so nice: bartenders, bouncers, and partiers!

Always a hoot here! Good music, good drinks, friendly staff. Dance floor down stairs gets prettttyyyy wild but that's how it is if you want to boogie down! Also you can never go wrong with love notes in the bathroom. P.s. Hi Nick!! , till next time tipsy! #stillnursingmyhangover

3 floors! If you go to gaslamp this is a must! It's like the stock market, prices for shots change!

Ex: next ten minutes shots will be 5 bucks

Downstairs is a dance floor and it has great 2000s music and hits!
2nd floor has games

I went there Sunday night for my 21st birthday sat down drank two beers and the red head pony tail bar tender starts hound dogging me to pay. When I am done drinking I'll pay.You wouldn't haras someone at a restaurant to pay if the weren't done with there meal. She got no tip.I won't go back.An I do not suggest this bar to any mature adult.

The ground floor and the speak easy upstairs both have fantastic atmosphere and service. Unfortunately, the experience at the Tipsy Crow takes a sharp turn for the worst as you head downstairs.

The DJ downstairs couldn't spin a good mix if someone handed it to him. His erratic switches of genre and poor transitions are enough to turn off all but the most tone-deaf of club goers.

The final insult is at the door as you leave. The obviously drunk bouncers are easy to get handsy with their patrons. Watch out you don't get groped!

Called in a for VIP reservations for my bday. Was told to arrive before 10:30, I was going to be a little late so I called to let TOM know and he said it was ok. Got there and the Security was being a prick, told me that was done at 10:30, so he didn't want to service us. So I called TOM while I was outside of the club with my party of 20 and they finally let us in.
VIP section is rather tiny. They did bring us free champagne which was nice of them, but they ended up kicking out half of my party because they didn't receive a stamp when stepping out of the bar, which we were supposed to have entrance to in and out all night. One of my guest tried to buy a bottle also, and apparently they only sell the bottles of champagne. My only real problem with this place is the lack of communication and the poor customer service. Other than that the club is fun and they play good music but they seriously need to be more friendly.

The decor and building are both really cool. Night club in the basement and lounge seating upstairs. Lobster mac and cheese was delicious. Decent cocktails and a large beer selection. Bartenders were friendly, but service was hit or miss. Prices are typical for the area.

Wow, just wow. This bar really has a great layout and environment. Be sure to head upstairs when you get your drink to enjoy the more interactive area. They had a few giant Connect4 stations but those always had players playing like wild men possessed. We had to settle on the old arcade games table and show off our Arkanoid skills. Nice game right there, dare I say a DECENT game. Anyways head into this bar if you wanna have a life changing experience, in an indescribable way.

Old timer feel, really hard to get a connect 4 table. had a table with some old school arcade games, wish it was free though, 50 cents only gets you like 39 seconds of play time in burger time or dig dug. If you order pickle chips the bar tender will look at you funny

I love coming here for a bar and club dance feel. Not feeling the bar only? Go downstairs to he dance floor and dance your heart out. Gets super busy around midnight, no covers if you come early. Bartenders are fun and nice. Love music at beginning of night... it was pretty good!

We had Shanna helping our difficult table today. Our first time was with a bad waitress a couple weeks ago. Was horrible when punching pandas were playing. Gave it another shot. Shanna was so attentive and funny. We will be back and recommend because of Shanna! Great service!

Tipsy Crow is the place in downtown that everyone should go at least once. It's a low-cover place and drinks are reasonably priced. The main flow features board games and upper level contains a lounge area, the real fun is downstairs.
In the basement, you get this dark, crowded area with music videos playing all around you. The DJs tend to be pretty good with the music selection, but like any club, it gets crowded and hot.
Bartenders are nice and never had problems with their service.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Very fun! I love the vibes on each floor level. Basement = dancing, loud music. 1st level = loud bar, foosball, lots of mingling. 2nd level - laid back, quieter bar, couches, pool table. It is so fun to go to different floors depending on how you're feeling throughout the night.

I go here a lot. They have some great game nights, good drinks and good food. Always a nice place to go while out in Downtown. BJ is the best host and will often play live music there too.

Love this place. Food and drinks are great. Cool bartenders. I like the layout too. Kind of like three spots in one. Main floor you walk into has a pub feel. Downstairs/basement has a club feel with loud music. Last but not least the upstairs level has more of a loungy feel, is quieter, and has some pretty cool architecture.

I was there for 15 mins and left. The bartender was too busy helping everyone else but me. Maybe she was not paying attention but she helped some guy that was next to be first but I had gotten there before him. I ended up leaving. I'll give it another shot and go again when I go to DTSD and give it the benefit of the doubt.

Corner spot looked appealing so had to try it out. Alcohol is on a market style price, which means that you pay more if your choice isnt as popular and less if everyone is ordering your drink.
I ordered the Popeye. A spinach salad with a boiled egg, crumbked bacon, onions, and grilled chicken for an additional $3. Tasted well with the balsamic dressing and accompanied with a pear cider.
All around a good selection for a quick bite.

This was a really sexy chill spot to have some drinks and catch up with friends. Upstairs there is a pool table and an old video game console with a few games like Pacman as well as oversized Connect 4 games. The large leather sofas are extremely plush and cozy.

Drinks are priced based on demand and they have TV screens to track the drink market. It was a little too involved for someone like me who just wants to see the price and then order my drink but people in my party had fun tracking the market fluctuation.

this is a bar to stay awhile. and honestly, its like 3 places in 1!

*Main level - sports bar-pub / food grubbing / game playing / stock exchangin! More of the standard hustle and bustle bar socializing. everyone has already talked about the stock exchange concept so i wont really bother...Happy hour pricing pretty good! Can get a selection of mixed drinks for $4 with whatever the current low spirit is. definitely a creative and enjoyable concept thats new to me. i dont know any other place that does it.

*Downstairs - mini night club. ive only glanced into it when it wasnt really happenin,' but there is another bar down there and they seem to play the typical top 40 / hip hop / etc

*Upstairs - Comfy, classy, casual. THIS is where my eyes lit up in delight. One thing i hate about most drinking establishments is the lack of seating...esp comfortable ones. There is a plethora of that here, yesss. The far back room is set up like cigar lounge with a pool table in the center, fireplace, library style book shelfing decor, 2 giant chairs on either end....just fantastic.

oh, and we took some FUN photos up in this area...which in my world, definitely earns the 5th star.

*Food - utilizing the yelp deal for $30 of food and drink for $15, my friend and I hit up some of the grilled cheeses. We got the Triple Threat & the Southwest Chicken. Triple Threat was def the winner. A-MAZ-ING flavor. And the tomato soup was creamy and delicious. People have spoken about the food just being aight...id agree but if you have the bar munchies its a totally legit option. those grilled cheeses have nothing on hamiltons tho :]
