Great beer, good company. Almost exclusively outdoor seating. Dogs and kids are allowed!

Daniel the bar manager is awesome. Sudwerk always has new and creative brews on tap, food trucks typically are there with a variety of innovative plates for good prices (especially street cravings) the one beer I miss though is 3 Best Friends.

Great beer selection. Being very careful with COVID concerns. Even the takeout/drive up is a sliding tray to keep distance. Food was awesome. Charcuterie board had some great meats and cheeses included. Overall great experience.

The best thing about the Sudwerk Dock Store is the rotating selection of taps. You can come here every week and try a whole new selection of well made craft beers. The prices are reasonable at $4.50 per pint, and that drops down to $3 if you join their annual Mug Club. Add to all that the great crowd of people and I couldn't recommend this place higher

This review is for the dock store. The dock is on the left side of the main restraunt. They have four rotating taps that are on more unique then the main restraunt.

I wish they would add a few more taps though. I would like more of these experimental brews.

A band was supposed to be playing while we were there but it wasn't. Apparently you should not rely on davis dirt calendar.

Dropped my order without apology. Waited for additional 20 mins. Very disappointed. Being a customer for four years.

GREAT community partners with stellar beer! These folks put on great shows and the taps are always flowing with many tasty options.

Great space and atmosphere especially when small events happen here such as live bands. They serve food but haven't had any to rate it but the beer. There are different types of beers to choose from which fairly good that you can get on tap or buy cans and it bottles to take home. There's good merch and a helpful staff that can help pick a beer to sip on or a full on keg. The parking is large and makes it easy for anyone to access tap room.

Beer is great! Food is good. Service is good. Place is clean. Do this.

Had fun at the cherry blossom festival. Taiko, beer, Japanese faire games, and gyoza!

Enjoyed my experience here. The layout of the dock is very comfortable and makes it a great place to enjoy your beer. Although I am not the biggest fan of Lagers or Pilsners,Sudwerks beers were very tasty and enjoyable. It is a brewery I see myself visiting often.

I didn't know that they closed the restaurant in 2016! Bummer! They just have a Tap Room and maybe a food truck in the parking lot...

Sudwerk used to be on of my favorite brew houses in the world. Not anymore. The restaurant has closed. The beer selection has been narrowed to 7 beers and the only seating is extra picnic tables.

Oh how the mighty have fallen... Very sad.

It's a bit rough in the winter but very nice when the weather perks up. I've heard they might be reopening the restaurant which would be awesome.

It's really fun to go have family time here. The patio is nice to sit around on and there's stuff for little ones to tinker around with. Last Saturday there was a band and it was just a really good time. They probably brew a beer that will make everyone happy.

Wonderful beers, friendly staff, and lots of outdoor seating with a very cozy atmosphere. They don't serve food but often will have a food truck outside as well as live music of all kinds.

Solid brewery that specializes in lagers. The atmosphere is pretty sparce, just a lot of concrete, tables and chairs. Place regularly hosts live music, pop up restaurants and food trucks. Great barrel aging program and the staff is super friendly. Even though I'm a dark beer guy, there is a lot to love here. If you are okay with a low key atmosphere, and love lagers, this is the place for you.

Love this place! The bartenders are always nice, the beer is good, and there are usually very good dogs.

Sudwerks beer is good, but the beer is different from most breweries in the area. As Sudwerks' logo says, they are "Redefining the American Lager". You will find a lot of different types of lagers here (ex. hoppy lager, rye lager, india pale lager, etc), but not much else. If you are only looking for a stout or IPA, then Sudwerks is not your spot. However, if you want to try something different, and experience a large variety of lagers, then stop by the taproom for a pint!

My review reflects the latter days of 2010 - 14 during grad school days. The restaurant only produced one good thing CHICKEN WINGS! I would only order them on Sunday's for football season. We moved away and I have perfected my own art of making Chicken wings, they're almost as crispy and tender as this restaurant, but I recently read that they have closed the restaurant at their brewery. This is sad. I had hoped that they could become as established as the, Sierra Nevada did in Chico and become a self sustained operation in such a conservation city such as Davis. Since they closed the restaurant, I see this brewery going backwards, unlike Sierra Nevada. I don't foresee finding their brews anywhere on the east coast because of their lack of expansion.

Staff was super awesome and the beyond was a fantastic brewery bite. Always love their brews.

A Davis institution. Craft beer legends still making beer that pleases along with friendly service and a fun vibe.

Churro bites were delicious and the Ginger All the Way beer was amazing! They did a good job handling flow of customers with covid restrictions and put extra tables out when needed. Good food, good beer, and good service

Ehhhh. It s mostly outside. Porta potties for restrooms. No IPAs. Mostly lagers since it s a lager house. Beer is average. I d rather go to three mile or super owl brewery honestly. This place is outdated for the times. Probably wouldn t come back until they have legit bathrooms and IPAs on tap

I can walk to it. It contains the university of California Davis brewing school. There is a way to taste the students creations

I thought the beer was decent, but the food was sub par for me. Not so bad that I wouldn't go back, just might not be my first choice in the area.

Came in here for some beer and a comedy show and was not disappointed. These guys know how to brew and the comedy was hilarious.

They have a cool facility for intimate shows. I would definitely attend an event here again.

Had two beers and they were great. The server was great with a very good knowledge about ingredients and processes and superb personality. Highly recommend to anyone with a good taste for beer.
