I have never worked with a staff service agency before, but having done so now, I can understand why many employers are resorting to them to find good hires. The staff at the Temp Connection are real and genuinely caring people. I now see that they help employers evaluate a job candidate, searching for qualities always appreciated, but not always apparent (at least immediately or during the initial interview). They seek, not only good workers, but also persons of good character and thus, I am glad to have had the opportunity to work for the Temp Connection, as that is the type of individual I strive to be. Let me tell you guys about how I came about the temp connection... I was out of a job for 4 months...the seasonal contract had ended, the bills were stacking up fast, and no matter how many applications I put in, I could not get a job anywhere. Interviews all day, but nobody could see my potential and what I could offer their company. My entrepreneur life had been completely put on hold. Optimism was dwindling. One day I remembered I had created a profile a year or so back with the Temp connection. Down on life, I chanced it and gave them a call. I walked in and saw Tyler. He's a cool guy with good vibes. He got me set up with my assessment. Then I waited for my recruiter. That's when I met Eugene. He was the one that saw my potential. He saw it, and he went to bat for me like nobody ever in my life has before. He made it a goal to get me a job. Everyone there is amazing. Jenn and Tina are also amazing as well. These people are 5 stars all day. They worked diligently and with a purpose, because they saw my potential more than anyone else. Shout out to the ones in the back that help me that I havent even met, shout out to the whole company!! Because of them helping me, my daughter gets to have a great 5th bday. My bills are all caught up. My life is so much better than it has ever been before. The best part... I love my job and I don't want to leave.

I was really hoping this place is as great as what other people think. They are an absolute waste of MY time. Tina is not helpful whatsoever and pretended to help me. She kept saying she would call me when there was an opportunity and then said she would email the company my resume and I would NEVER hear from her. I had to constantly be calling to get any sort of news. I would think if she was actually doing her job, she would be calling me to let me know, instead of me calling and her being like "oh yeah it doesn't work sorry". She is not professional at all. I have plenty of experience and work ethic and education which most of their clients don't seem to have! I hope that other people have luck but don't be surprised if nothing comes of it.

May be that the situation was just a poor economy, but Temp Connection worked me one or two days each month or not at all. I earned just enough to help pay bills with the girlfriend of that period. I will say that the owners are super friendly. You can speak with the owners any time. They answer phone calls and e-mail. The staff is friendly too. You are a human being to these people.
I have been with the Temp Connection off and on for over 6 years. They are the most helpful, honest, professional people. They have worked with my schedule while I was in a hybrid program. Also work at assigning to locations based on residence and distance. Highly recommend the Temp Connection.
