I can't say enough good about this wonderful company. We bought a mailbox with 2 doors by them at Lowes for our new home out in a very rural area. It looked very elegant. Well, a knot-headed couple on a 4-wheeler decided to drive by on the 4th of July and put a firecracker in our lovely new mailbox. Miraculously the only thing destroyed was one of the doors. My husband is a disabled Veteran suffering from PTSD, so this incident really rattled his nerves. He filed a police report, but the officer told him that there wasn't a lot that could be done without a definitive identification of the kids who perpetrated such a mean trick. This wasn't the first time they had destroyed mailboxes either using various and sundry destructive devices.

Meanwhile my husband also contacted The Step2 Company hoping to buy a new door to replace the destroyed one. Those kind people told him that they would send him a new door at no charge. Well, then it got lost in transit. What did they do? They sent out another door overnight, and now our mailbox looks fabulous again. They should do a commercial that features our mailbox. It is amazing that it survived a firecracker without any more damage than one disintegrated door. We are very grateful for our sturdy mailbox and their help in soothing my Darling's shattered nerves.

My husband and I purchased our daughter a Chefs Gallery Kitchen from Kohl s. I can t tell you enough how disappointed in this product I am. When assembling, absolutely none of the holes lined up. In addition to the holes the stickers were too large for the oven. Finally when we got the unit together one of the doors will not shut, this was a piece that already came assembled so we were not able to rig it to stay shut. We also found it quite disappointing that the unit came with only two plates when there are four holes for plates.

Has any member of your executive team put together this product? If not, I would strongly challenge you to do so and see what your customers are experiencing.

We will most definitely not be buying another one of your products.

Sincerely,

Lindsay

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever had. I will never buy another step2 product. I got the run around from 2 people. I got frustrated during my conversation and raised by voice, I was not yelling or screaming as the manager said I was, got told they stopped listening to me bc their ear hurt and then they threatened to hang up on me. This is all from a "manager". I work customer services and let me tell you if I had a difficult phone call like this and I said these things I would lose my job! I am now out a big chunk of money becuase "they just don't sell replacement plastic parts". Climber was brand new was damaged during moving, son didn't even get to play on it and now it will just be waiting for trash pick up next week. I was not trying to make a warranty claim I knew it was our fault told them I would pay whatever I needed to as my son's birthday was in a few weeks. Kept telling me I needed a receipt (lost during moving don't have time play detective) to make a warranty claim, once again not trying to make a warranty claim. Was told we work with our customers but really they don't. Then I got told to try offer up or let it go to see if someone was selling one at a discount. So long story short horrible customer service and they don't help you at all unless you need hardware replaced. They have lost a customer.

Sub par customer service - Still trying to straighten out my Christmas order with Step 2 and it's Jan 9! I'm on hold (or is it ignore?) with them for the 4th time, still trying to get all the parts I ordered and paid for. Each time I call I'm on hold for, I kid you not, at least 20 minutes. They only sent 2 out of the 4 parts I ordered. They resent the missing 2, but they're still missing! I never got any tracking numbers as promised so I have no clue where they are. Their only saving grace is one employee, she was very kind and friendly, happy. Wish I remember her name. Everyone else has been so-so to a "why are you bothering me?" attitude.

I am reviewing a specific product, not the store. The Rain Showers Splash Pond Water Pond does not have pre-drilled screw holes, which makes assembly difficult. I personally am not strong enough to insert the screws through the plastic without a power tool. My adult son was able to use a screwdriver to insert the screws but not with ease. Step 2 should spend the extra 10 minutes to pre-drill holes. I'm sure my granddaughter will love this toy, but I'm irritated that I could not assemble it easily. As a point of reference, I have installed wall tile in two bathrooms and flooring in three bathrooms, so I am not an individual with no manual skills.

Missing half the parts to the toy. Spent 2 and a half hours on the phone and got hung up on twice. I can't believe they bill themselves as serving children cause all they've done to mine is make them cry.

We bought a push car buggy through Amazon that arrived without it's hardware. Inside of the box a sheet asked us to please go through the Step 2 company instead of returning to Amazon if there are any issues. Talked with Kisha (and a week later Mary) and after sending the necessary proof we were told the replacement parts would be overnighted to us. Apparently in Ohio overnighted means "we requested that your parts be mailed overnight". Which never works for me at the post office either, because you actually have to pay them more for that particular service.
So we wait, $50 brand new broke down car existing lifelessly in the living room. Our son longing for the day when the wind can fly through his hair, cruising the sidewalk in his first car, but we wait. Until Thursday. Because I tried to give the company a chance. Be aware Amazon purchaser that 100% of the time, you're better off sending back through Amazon and not going through the Step 2 Company. It's only a toy not a doctor(thankfully) but when toys are what you do, you shouldn't drop the ball as bad as Step 2.

If you are looking for employment they need the help. I left back in june I believe it was. But the people who work the warehouse floor are really compassionate they will help you if they see you are falling behind or struggling. Theres lots of loud unnecessary music they allow playing on the floor ( which I am strongly against) but they are really about helping they're workers too. As far as working for the better employer this place is 10x's better than Little Tikes I asked for help on my line making 'Jeep Beds' at little tikes and it took them 5 hrs to send help over to my line!!!!. I would work for Step2 again but the 12 hr shifts got to me...I desired shipping and receiving.
