We stopped in for a late brunch and have fantastic pierogies, french toast sticks to die for, salmon tacos, potato latkes, veggie burgers...we tried nearly everything all in tapas formats to share...fantastic. Service was wonderful...oh, the mimosa and bloody mary (with a good kick) were great! Definitely will return with my crew again.

If you like going deaf and not talking to anyone at dinner this is the perfect place for you. Great food ruined by people who think they run a club instead of a restaurant. The music is SO loud that it is ear piercing. Also, the bathrooms are gross.

I really hate the whole "tiny plate" trend (what can I say, I hate sharing food with people), but they do it right here. I really enjoyed my brunch here. It's all tasty. All of it. The donuts in particular are a must try, and I loved the waffles, too. It's pricy, but at least I walked away feeling like I'd gotten my money's worth.

Went for a nice brunch in a Saturday afternoon. As soon I got to the second floor, the servers ask what I would like to drink.

The drink: I had some orange cocktail

The Food:

Oreo pancakes: I not sure but this had to have crack inside, with great flavor with oreo and pancakes that only with you just bite melt on you mouth.

Egg bruschetta - I really enjoy these one . with soft scrambled eggs and served atop a tomato bruschetta with cheeses on the topped. Very good this could be one of my option for a breakfast or brunch!

Pastrami Reuben Quesadilla: a sandwiched house-brined pastrami, Swiss, sauerkraut, and a spiced mustard a oili in a quesadilla. A other good option to eat in a brunch.

Kobe beef sliders:These were incredible! i could eat like 20 of this but i was very full

Doughnuts: not much to say about this one, did not notice anything special about them but they were warm and tasty.

Went here for my birthday. We had the oddest male waiter. He seemed annoyed with us because we asked questions about the menu. He didn't even say happy birthday when he brought my birthday dessert over. We asked him how we were to eat something that looked peculiar and he huffed a little and then started to try to serve us--but it was weird!

Visited Stanton Social for a small birthday dinner; loved the decor of the restaurant but was disappointed in the food with the way this place has been hyped up on social media. Their famous French Onion Soup Dumplings were not that great (cheese was hardened by the time the dish came to us rather than gooey), although the Babyback Short Ribs were good. Their dessert selection and prices could be better- for appetizer-sized dishes that cost $15-$25, you can get an entire entree elsewhere!

Don't come in a large group. This place "encourages sharing" by charging full meal price for each tiny dish and having everybody at the table pick over it. Neat concept in theory but terrible execution and over priced. Plus, the French onion soup dumplings weren't as good as everyone made it seem. Very thick skin and boiling hot, bland soup. The service was good and the atmosphere is nice. I would recommend the chorizo mac and cheese and to come in a group of 3 maximum.

Trendy, but LOUD! We tried eight small plates and I thought that all but one were. Very good. Normal portion is for four people, but they accommodated our group of six with most of the selections. Some items are barely a mouthful, but we tried eight items and everyone was satisfied. Only complaint was the loud dance music.

Came here for a girls night with a small group. The food is exceptional! The waitress was really helpful recommending dishes we should try and how many to order for our group. Every plate that arrived to our table was better than the last. French Onion Soup Dumplings are a stand out and for dessert you must try the Movie Theater Sundae. Will definitely be back!

Great pierogies! Excellent panna cotta!!!
I need to find a better entree. Chicken was on the dry side for the Chicken and Waffle dish. Good process too. Very nice staff. Nice interior vibes and crowd as well.

The service at Stanton Social was HORRIBLE. The host at one point mentioned they were in the business of hospitality. One thing is sure: they are sorely lacking in hospitality. It seems like they didn t want to serve us from the very beginning. When I first gave my name for my reservation I was told there was no reservation under my name. I pulled out my phone and showed them my reservation confirmation from Open Tables. I was told that e-mail was not from them and they didn t have a reservation for me. Finally, I guess they realized they couldn t continue with that lie, so they suddenly found my reservation.

I was then told I couldn t sit because my entire party was not there. They were parking and arrived 2 minutes later. One person was running a little late so I asked if we could sit and he could join us when he arrived. They told us he would not be able to sit with us. I really didn t believe them. So we got a table but were told we only have until 8pm to eat. I do not understand how you give people a time limit at a restaurant. So we sat and ordered drinks. The last member of our party arrived maybe 20 minutes later. A member of the staff escorted him up and we were told he was not able to stay. We asked if he could pull up a chair. They refused. We told them we would make space in the booth we had. They refused. For people that are in the hospitality business, they did not try to ACCOMMODATE us at all. So we decided to leave. I have never been to a restaurant where they will not accommodate one more person. I was truly disgusted with the level of service at this restaurant. If you want to enjoy a night out having dinner definitely do not go to Stanton Social.

French onion soup dumplings...still the best thing I ever ate. The tuna tacos were to die for and the staff is on point. Always ready with more water or ask if you need anything. Last time I went was almost 10 years ago and it has gotten even better. It is totally worth it.

Great place for a group of 4-5 only. They serve small dishes so if you go with just one person, you might not be able to try the different dishes they offer. Each dish probably has about 4 pieces so its a great sharing place. That way you can order a bunch of different dishes to try. Because their portion is small and bite sized, you may not be full. This is more for the experience and sharing/trying different kinds of food. Also, since they're so popular, they restricted our time and told us we had to leave at a certain time so the next reservation group can have our table.

I came here a couple weeks ago with some friends for a birthday. The tables are so close together that it was difficult to get up to use the restroom. The service was a little slow, presumably because they had crammed too many tables into the dining room; our waiter had to stand behind the service station to speak to us! The food tasted good, but the portions are not worth the price. I live in the city and am used to small spaces and high prices, but this seemed worse than usual. We all left hungry and got pizza around the corner.

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :)

Food: Excellent. Have the Kobe beef sliders!
Drinks: Great.
Space: This is a modern, elegant and sleek lounge with a very open and intimate floor layout. The tables, lounge chairs and ottomans all are surrounding the perimeter of the space leaving an open area in the middle of the floor. It is the perfect layout for mixing and mingling, date nights, and get-togethers.
Scene: Singles Scene. Date night. Pickup scene.
Crowd: 30-40s Afterwork crowd. Mostly corporate and professionals.
Service: Bar staff and servers are courteous.

Bought 2 brunch vouchers from Amazon local at a prize of 75$ each . Before we visited the place yesterday, Stanton Social changed its terms and conditions so that the whole group had to eat the same things and couldn't choose different dishes.

Best example how customers are being ripped off. Also there is nowhere the info that you have to order from a reduced menu and not the normal one. Portions were a joke and again completely unclear how they count. 5 mini pancakes for 4 people based on 2 vouchers? How many pancakes would you get based on 1 voucher, 2.5???? Same applies for cinnemon buns and other dishes.

We were very upset and would never go there again, nor could I recommend the place to anyone else.

Waiter said the conditions are set by Amazon and could not deal with our comments around the situation we were facing.

NB place is also very noisy. Nothing for a someone who is looking for a relaxed atmosphere.

I heard about this restaurant after seeing the Head Chef on Chopped. I was excited to see it as an option for Restaurant Week and my girlfriends and I were really looking forward to our meal here. The service rendered this meal unenjoyable and rubbed us all the wrong way from start to finish. Definitely not what we expected from a $$$$ restaurant. The whole place had a flippant club vibe of 'we don't really care if you're here'

1. The waitress told my friend and I 2 different things about what was on the happy hour menu (Only west coast oysters, not the east coast). If she was new, she could have mentioned this beforehand. She also thought that we needed to close out at the bar before moving to our meal - which was rectified by the hostess.
2. The hostesses were uppity and not friendly. Our bad not explaining that we were going to be short one person for dinner, so we started later. She was absolutely unapologetic about having to kick us out at 8:15. (Original reservation for 6:30, we told her we were all ready at 6:50, no one came to check on us in between)
3. Following up on this... 1) our check arrived while we were eating dessert; 2) a busboy was wiping the table while we were paying the bill and got crumbs on my friends lap in his hurried sweeping motions.
4. The waiter wasn't knowledgeable, wasn't aware of the ingredients for the pesto. And frankly being Asian - I am a little offended by an item named 'asian pesto' because it has fish sauce in it.

I will end on a good note, the food was good, definitely above average though the service made it less memorable. I recommend the poke tacos, samosas, and "Asian" salmon. My friends also raved about the donuts with their caramel, strawberry and chocolate sauces.

This is my favorite fancy brunch spot. A reservation is a must. Try the donuts, the ricotta fritters with raspberry sauce, the apple and Brie quesadillas, and the French soup dumplings. Everything they serve is intended to be shared, so be prepared! The cocktail menu is nice and varied. Can't go wrong with your choice there. Great date spot too!

Passed by on a Friday night with some friends....their cocktail list is pretty impressive and every drink is made fresh from scratch...the food portions were not that big, but they were all delicious, great vibe and experience overall with a great crowd it felt like I was in the Copacabana from GoodFellas

For dinner or for cocktails upstairs this place never disappoints. If you are upstairs for cocktails and are lucky enough to have Travis as a bartender let him choose your drink. He's well versed in the palette and you will not be led astray. If you arrive early enough you can get a table to the right but those are reservation only later in the night. Want to have an awesome party? Get a table at Stanton Social.

Great food and atmosphere. Perfect for group and sharing. Upstairs bar/lounge has good vibe and music. Bar/lounge is small and traffic from Waiters/Waitress serving food make it difficult to dance/stand around

there was a lot of 'noise' about this restaurant. many of the tapas style dishes were good, but not overwhelming. their cocktails were impressive and well done. i liked the decor, but the cramped seating left something to be desired from a service standpoint. it was almost as if i was having a conversation with the people sitting directly next to me...i would recommend something more intimate for date.

It is used when staying at Hotel on Rivington near by in 2006.
Before going to LIVE of Bowery Ballroom, I visited for a bit of lunch, but unfortunately it became a seat in the weekend as it was a crowded time of the weekend.
To the extent that we did not know which one ordered the served dish, the staff was also very talented.

The atmosphere of the whole store such as interior decoration and lighting was fairly fancy, but I was left with an impression because I had a restless time, only memories that stood by early.

When going to such a restaurant again, it is useless to settle down firmly and to behave elegantly without worrying about clocks.
It was a story of the era when Lower East was still familiar to Japan.

Be sure to save room for dessert at this trendy American small plates spot - milkshake shots and homemade ice cream sandwiches are a must! Simple comfort/bistro food with a twist (like French Onion Soup Dumplings) are complemented by artisanal cocktails and friendly service. The music is quite loud and the scene is very trendy, with many patrons here for sustenance before a night of revelry.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to review as this is easily in my top 3 eateries in NYC. Went the other day for my birthday where a great friend took these pics. It's kind of small plate, tapas style food sharing, which I find awesome, although I did see a few who decided to swim upriver and eat like they were at Chili's..... odd, but ok......

Bottom line, amazing food, INSANELY amazing cocktails and a top notch staff make this the place I'd take anyone who had only 1 night to spend in NY without question.

Favorite meal during a 5-day trip to NYC--looking forward to going back. Lively, sophisticated atmosphere with interesting interior design. Go early for a cocktail at the cozy, chic upstairs bar. Boss Tweed Gimlet was absolutely delicious and well-balanced. Dinner service was very polite, well-educated on the food with good recommendations, and attentive. Music was energetic, though may be loud for those sensitive to loud restaurants. A surprise amuse-bouche of a phenomenal summer gazpacho was a very welcome bright start to an overall great meal. All food was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. Tuna Poke Wanton Tacos and Pierogies both stood out as highlights. Great wine selection.

Overpriced and overcrowded. The decor is asian inspired and the food is creative bar food. I'd try to go here on a less crowded night and definitely get the cocktail that combines orange marmalade with green matcha tea.

When I went back for brunch, the portions were way too small for a group of people to have any kind of decent brunch, even though the food was tasty.
